North Carolina Republican congressman Chuck Edwards has withdrawn from his reelection campaign following a House Ethics Committee recommendation to censure him for inappropriate conduct toward two young female aids. Although Edwards denied any romantic or sexual intent and plans to complete his current term, state Republican leaders must now quickly select a new nominee for the upcoming midterm election. His departure introduces fresh political risk for House Republicans as they struggle to
defend a slim majority in a district analyst already view as increasingly competitive.
It's interesting because I think his first response was they were consenting. And now he's saying
there was no romantic or sexual component. So what was he just doing? Abuse of power. I mean if there wasn't those two, then all he was doing was abuse of power. The fact that he's staying in office is not a surprise. If you got rid of all the sexual predators in the Republican party, Congress would be empty. I mean seriously, you know, you could use it for old people to do their
“late night walks to get some energy. Well, actually, that's what they do use it for among those”
elderly members of Congress who can actually walk. There's some who can't even do that. Where is Mitch
by the way? Where is Mitch? I mean, is he gone? Is he in a coma? Is he asleep? Riley, have you heard anything?
I've seen a lot of AI videos claiming he's alive, but yeah, well, you said I'm not, I don't find them particularly convincing. Yeah, I think he's so kicking. You sent me one where they he was at a gay club, which I thought was a little weird and I, you know, I mean there's nothing wrong with going to a gay club. But his dancing was bad. It looked a little bit like a lane bonus and sign felt the other thing about Sebastian. Oh, now see I've just stepped on my own punchline there. The other thing about this
guy Edwards is what is with this look? I mean, who thinks that's a good look to imitate and almost look like the double ganger of Sebastian Gork. I know some of you have forgotten Sebastian Gork up, but he's our anti anti terrorism work. But that little, that little go-t thing. It's not,

zero IQ. This story has a lot of dumb characters in it, but Fauci is not one of them. They have obtained Dr. Anthony Fauci's former government iPhone from the Department of Health and Human Services, expanding Republican led investigations into his pandemic era, conduct, and communications. The transfer facilitated under HHS Secretary and longtime Fauci critic, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. coincides with Senator Rand Paul's scheduling a vote to hold the former top infectious
disease expert and contempt after he repeatedly invokes the Fifth Amendment during recent testimony. Yeah, so let's go back to the basics here. Tony Fauci is an American hero. Tony Fauci is an American hero. Tony Fauci is an American hero. He is somebody who fought to use science to fight the pandemic. His suggestions were good. He was not the guy who suggested to people inject chloroxin to their veins. He was not the guy who suggested that people take
I vermectin. Ron Johnson yesterday praised people for taking I vermectin. So there are some dopes out there who still walk the land. I would also point out that Tony Fauci during coded was not in charge of the United States of America. That was Donald Trump. And in fact, whereas in some other administrations, somebody who had a problem with what was being done in regions of healthcare that Tony Fauci worked over at NIH, they would say, well, I don't know
What was going on over there.
at the White House involving senior White House staff and the big decisions were made at the level

So the guy who's responsible for whatever happened under Trump, which led to the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people, is going to blank folks. Trump and they're trying to blame it on somebody down the line who was actually pushing back on the lunacy of Donald Trump. It's going to go nowhere. As for Fauci pleading the fifth, I noticed today somebody pointed out that Trump has pleaded the fifth over 400 times in his life. His son Eric pleaded the fifth 500 times. That's because their
lawyers tell them to do that. And of course, Fauci's lawyers told him to do that because ran
Paul and Ron Johnson and the folks in the Senate were on a fishing expedition. What they want to
do is, you know, say, what do you have for breakfast this morning? And he says, Waffles, and they say, well, we know, we also had bacon. That's lying to Congress, you're going to jail. And so of course, you know, if they're, you know, this fishing expedition, they're trying to hang him up, his lawyers are going to say, don't say anything because they're going to try to use it against you. This is an embarrassing sad moment. Particularly since the United States hasn't done the post-COVID
analysis of what Trump did wrong, of what the entire country did wrong. And then put in place the kind of apparatus that we need to put in place to avoid future pandemics, which is a real issue. And I would point out, the Biden administration didn't put it in place either. You know, would they, that there should have been an investment in ensuring these things don't happen again.

Iran war update, as you've all been waiting for, Iran has explicitly worn a ghost base. This is a good time to go get a snack. Yeah. There's not going to be much new here. But I feel obliged to cover. And seriously, if you're trying to get a snack in the middle of a 15 minute podcast, you ought to be ashamed of yourself. I mean, that's a needing disorder. Anyway, go on, go on,
Iran has explicitly worn a ghost base that it will attack their critical energy and water infrastructure.
If they cannot convince Donald Trump to halt US military strikes in a concerted diplomatic effort arounding officials urged these regional powers to leverage their influence with Washington to avoid a broader conflict and secure a negotiated settlement instead facing the threat of severe economic disruption. Golf nations like Saudi Arabia successfully pressured Trump to temporarily pause for the military action in order to give diplomacy a chance.
Yeah. And ultimately, let's be honest, folks. He's gone out. And there's several reasons he's gone out. One is the bombing isn't working. Two is run out of munitions. And that's a big, frequent crisis for the United States of America. And if you don't believe me, listen to yesterday's deep state radio with Frank Kendall, he used to be not only the Secretary of the Air Force, but before that, he was the undersecretary defense for procurement.
He knows this stuff inside out. And he and I and Rosa Brooks talk about what should be a gigantic scandal of mismanagement at the Department of Defense. But it's one of those scandals that puts us in the position where we can't just go off really nearly escalating this war. There's also the issue of the approaching primaries. I mean, the approaching midterm elections and fear that, you know, more war will push up prices, which none of them want. And that's why Trump is going to
take not only a bad diplomatic solution. I think he's going to take a worse diplomatic solution than the last diplomatic solution here. I've got one of the reasons I believe that is that the Iranians are working with the Amani's about how to control the straight-of-form moves. And I think the United States is going to wink at not and go along with it or something like at which is madness. But also their rumors swirling around that the United States has gone back to the
“Iranians via back channel and said, remember that MOU that we signed that we then distanced ourselves”
from because it gave you too much? How do you feel about doing that again? So they're like, you know, just circle around. It's a mess. People will study it in schools if we still have schools for years to come. And if we don't have schools, we will set up a school here at the DSR network.

evaluator granted it open internet access. Well, wait a minute, maybe this is the matrix. And meta has got an AI breach into the matrix and it's flipping everything around right now as we speak. It's a way to, it's going to wake us up. Yeah. Uh oh. Uh oh. This event makes me sad. That's the last
thing we should want. Let me go. The event makes meta the third major AI developer in recent
weeks following anthropic and open AI to report a model exploiting real world vulnerabilities during routine testing. While meta and its testing partner investigate the incident, the breach highlights about the rapidly expanded capabilities of AI agents and the increasing difficulty of a safely containing them during use. Yeah, the headline of this story, if it were written today, looking back at the past two weeks, is three largest US AI companies announced that
their AI has escaped the lab and started attacking other companies. Which is, you know, that would be bad if, um, no, it is bad. It is bad. And I noticed some other story with the guy who's doing AI, Google, who's stepping down and he said, well, all the problems of AI, um, uh, artificial general intelligence have been solved. And I was like, that's supposed to be good news that these problems have
Been solved when all the, and we obviously can't control it.
people who were in charge of controlling this stuff, all of our AI oligarchs in the world, there's
