Our whole business is ready for Shopify. Now let's start a new test of Shopify. I'm your host Paul Alex. I want from being a cop to a figure entrepreneur that helps I've reached people like you and me make money every single day.

I created this podcast to help you get motivated and to crush your goals. Let's win together. Remember, I have your six. Get ready to level up right now. What's up everyone?

Welcome back to the level of podcast I'm Paul Alex.

And today we are talking about a psychological safety net that guarantees your failure. The cognitive tax of plan B. Because let's be real. If you are launching your startup but you constantly tell yourself

that if this does not work out, you can always go back to your old corporate job.

You have already decided to quit. Let's break down why having a backup plan is a massive liability. First, realize that the brain is a survival mechanism. And it will always choose the path of least resistance. When you are in the trenches of your first business,

when the cash flow dries up, a client screams at you and you are exhausted. Your brain will immediately hunt for an exit. If you have a warm, comfortable plan B waiting for you, you will take it. Too many nine to five workers launch a side hustle with one foot out the door. Whether you are running an agency or consulting firm,

building an empire requires absolute, maniacal commitment. If you leave a back door open, you kill your own endurance.

Second, you have to mentally burn the ships.

People who build legendary wealth do not have a safety net. They operate with their backs completely against the wall, knowing that if they do not hunt, they do not eat. So, instead of updating your resume, just in case, delete it.

Make the success of your current mission and absolute matter of survival. And watch how quickly your problem-solving abilities multiply. Lastly, operating without a parachute forces you to grow wings. When failure is mathematically and psychologically not in option, you will push through obstacles that would have crushed the average person.

Supreme focus, undeniable grit, and total commitment to the primary mission, create an unshakable founder. When you destroy plan B, plan A is guaranteed to work. Bottom line, you cannot conquer the island if you are secretly keeping the boats fueled up in the harbor. Burn the ships, commit to the vision, and take the territory.

Because when you do, you will fight harder than ever. Thanks for tuning into the Level Up podcast. I'm Paul Alex reminding you, true commitment requires the removal of all other options.

Lock onto the target, execute the mission, and as always, keep leveling up.
