When I was transitioning out of law enforcement, I didn't resent my paycheck. I weaponized it. Your current job is your first angel investor. It pays your mortgage, buys your groceries and funds your initial marketing campaigns without taking any equity
in your new company. If you treat your day job like a prison, you kill your own funding source.
