You see Xi Jinping in China, they are downplaying Donald Trump's visit.
They are treating the visit of a United States president like they don't even care. The front page of China's main newspaper, China Daily, talks about the Chinese Tajikistan relationship. Sino Tajik ties and their new phase. That's the main story, Xi Jinping meeting with the leader of Tajikistan, not Donald Trump. Although Donald Trump's visit does get a sidebar on the front page of China Daily,
and they put it on the sidebar on purpose of the front page.
