a little bit tacky and said the real issue within this family is Harry is emotional he's a big baby he's a nightmare but in many ways the relationship with William is so much more difficult

because William has power William can can change the monarchy Harry can't that Harry never was going

to be able to he's the second son he's the spare he doesn't like that we've read the book but it's William that actually troubles the king maybe more importantly the queen and people are around the king this is so interesting that the ever shifting power centers within and without the palace now if we flash back to just a mere couple of years ago Harry and Meghan were rightly seen as attempting to destroy the monarchy Harry's rage explosion at being the spare the title of his

own memoir and William being the beautiful son waiting in the wings not making a not setting a foot wrong you know having having gone through what this family has gone through now Harry is attempting his way back in this bombshell reporting which is which is standing up throughout the days and weeks is that Harry Meghan and the children again Harry who is said for years and years and years it's not nearly safe enough for me to bring my wife back to the UK it's not safe enough for me for my

decision making on king Charles's part as to how much he may be willing to let Harry and potentially Meghan back into the fold Lady C says she doesn't think that will ever potentially happen and that

for a summit that he promptly blew up allegedly reportedly by leaking how just satisfied he was with the summit like 60 seconds after walking off the door rock talk to us here's the ball

when I reported and I knew there'd be a pushback here when I reported when my sources told me that if there's a meeting there will be a meeting with the king William's going to be in that meeting I knew that was going to be a bombshell because all the reporting all the sources from

Williams camp are no he will never meet with his brother again he's furious he's really really

angry all of that is true however if Charles is in a room with Harry and Meghan he'll be bamboozled he'll give away literally the store he'll give away the business he already has these two now are getting royal protection that the king is paying for they're going to be living in a royal palace while they're there so already Charles has given away a lot here in this negotiation I'm not quite sure what he's going to get in exchange William was the one that turned up

at the sandbrington summit and with his grandmother the queen the two of them said no at that meeting the king was very weak the king was very soft that's who he is that's who Charles is he's not going to change William knows this he no longer has his grandmother around to be the bully to be the the strong hand here the queen may she rest in peace is no longer with us so now William knows if Harry and the king get together and there's not an adult in that room there's not somebody in

that room with a clear head it could be disastrous and so I really do believe this and we will find

“us in a few weeks will William be there I think he will be but I don't think he'll be there”

because he wants to kiss and make up with his brother there's too much water into the bridge he'll be there to make sure the monarchy stands another day you know I kind of picture so you know you said and I don't necessarily know if you and I have the exact same take on William you know that William would be there was there to be the bully I actually don't see William as a bully at all I see William as a very strong individual who has I think become even more

emotionally intelligent given how embedded he is with the Middleton family a very close functional nuclear family I think William has boundaries and I think William sees Harry for exactly who he is a leopard doesn't change its spots as Jay-Z once said you can't change a player's game in the ninth inning these two are coming back with their hands open for some more money some more relevance Harry was just humiliated it game five of the NBA finals here in America to Matei Shamalama Ding Dong

seated front row in celebrity row and he's eight seat eight rows back I wonder what happened Rob to the to the Charles of back when the late queen Elizabeth II was alive

“and there were reports that I believe it may have been the queen who said to him”

reverted back to his normal state which is a real weak you know some might say nice but he just he's not a guy to fight it's just not in him if you were looking for King Charles to stand up and fight for what's right it's not gonna happen and we don't have to look any further than his brother to see that we don't have to look any further to the way he treated the late princess Diana Charles is is is is a it's a pussy Charles is a very very weak man

William is a strong person and let me tell you something here I love it it is the middle turns but it's more than that then modern these two breeds social media they have polling they have a different team than the King they have changed the monarchy Charles is an aware he should be of the public sentiment William is the public doesn't want Harry and Megan back and William understands that the only reason he will be King and the only reason he's rainbow be successful

“is if he has the public support the polls in Britain for the monarchy are dropping I think it's”

now down to 55% William has more support from the public than the King does that's very very unusual and so William is smart he's modern he has people around him who know how to read social media he knows how to read opinion polls and so William here is not only doing the right thing because I believe you believe it's the right thing he's doing it because it's the smart thing all the polls say that the public do not want these two back one more question on this before we move on to a

Blake lively Taylor Swift bombshell which I've been dying to talk to you about since since excuse me it exploded over the weekend Rob why is Megan daring to show her face she has what tell me why tell me it's over for Megan Markle what gave her five years of celebrity was her brush with royals now that that has been pushed off she's ripped it off she's thrown that away that cloak that made her interesting that cloak that potentially could have made her very wealthy that

cloak that gave her a billion people watching her wedding that she has thrown away and she's stamped

really trying to run away from the royal family it was a fatal mistake five years to run away from the one thing that makes you interesting it was like when Madonna refused to sing her greatest hits no you want to see Madonna sing like a prayer you want like a virgin he would you don't give people the hits they're going to find somebody else and that's what's happened here with Megan Megan is reminiscent and thinking about it really strategically my sources tell me

load of worship tell us Rob was really going on yeah I'm with you I hit the phone's really hard won't win this exclusive broke and everybody that I spoke to close to Taylor and even Blake said this is just unbelievable they they just don't buy this and they said what might have happened here is the big event at Madison Square Garden is not the wedding they're going to live it wedding a few weeks before a few days before and that's where their real friends and

family are going to be at now the thing at the garden it's more like a celebration it's more like a concert it's more like an event there's going to be a thousand people there is there are there only a thousand and there are a thousand so they're going to drape it and they're

going to bring in designers to make it look amazing they're building a stage a stage

it's so dmented it's so dmented it's so insane it's like a throw themselves this massive party is there a chance that Blake could be at that potentially she's not at the wedding she's when these two say I do when these two make their theirs Blake is not part of this and I don't even I doubt I doubt from from my reporting that she'll even be invited to the celebration part it runs deep it runs really deep and also to it's not emotional just with Taylor Taylor is

a party after our sacred vows are exchanged at Madison Square Garden just to prove how famous we are and influential and relevant we are is going to allow Blake lively to not only hijack that story but then that it becomes not about the quote unquote love story between Taylor and Travis listen

brands into a multinational corporation secondly if Blake shows up this you know what this becomes about the love story between Taylor and Blake yeah that's the story now yeah and that's a great story at some point for Taylor to tell friendships some of the greatest loves of my life have been platonic have been friends and so I think that's a wonderful story to tell is just not the time to tell it and Taylor's timing is impeccable she lets us know what she wants us to know

when she wants it and she's not going to let Blake who she can't trust and that has been proven that Blake will leak pictures like the day of her celebration in Rhode Island the day of her lunch the rep party like staged pictures I reported this first I said that on the wedding day which I don't think Blake will be at I know she won't watch Blake I bet she pops up somewhere there'll be a picture of her she plays the game as hard as Taylor the difference here is the

Taylor's a master at it and Blake's a very good player but she's not in the same league as Taylor so if Taylor knows what she's doing yeah you couldn't be more right and by the way I just want to make another note a small side to Ryan Reynolds and Blake lively who posted excuse me to Instagram you know super happy photos of themselves over the weekend for Father's Day who's a better father than the guy who made his eight-year-old daughter who said daddy please don't make me say a

line of dialogue in Deadpool V Wolverine when I want your opinion I'll smack that dick out of your mouth or whatever and she said please don't make me and so he says on the bonus commentary for said film so we made her say it 50 to 500 times ha ha ha ha these two are garbage the nervous and

that are the worst are the ones that want us to think they are the best it's so interesting to be it's so true it's my whole theory about Tom Hanks also a developing future segment you

“I think the more invested you are in only playing the super nice guy as being depicted in the”

media the tabloid press celebrity industrial compass as the super nice person you're probably behind the scenes a monster and then I look at someone like Christian Bale who could forget you know again that famous audio that isolated audio from yelling at the tech guy for getting a shot but then I look at like photos of Christian Bale you know there's a whole series on Instagram about

how he never goes anywhere without his small dog and I just think complicated guy I kind of like him

yeah I did it I've been in this business for a really long time the sources the celebrities that call me and complain the most about not having very favorable not having really positive coverage are the worst people they're just so insecure and they're hiding something they are

Olivia Olivia's got nothing to lose the marriage is over she's not saying anything here that the

kids don't already know they lived in the house with them they know what these two think of one another and the story she told was really devastating to both of them it wasn't a good look to her either he turned to her and and said I don't know you like I don't know what to buy you for your birthday we just don't know each other and she said we don't and then shortly afterwards they got divorced what he doesn't like here is that somebody I would push a little further here

and say a woman it's fighting back somebody is okay now we're getting into the real stuff yeah yes somebody is not gonna put up with this somebody's not gonna let him be the control freak

now onto what be Goldberg who is having an allergic reaction Rosie O'Donnell has elated from her retreat in Ireland she's back in New York City she's making the rounds she was shot

people in New York are happy to see Rosie she's got a facelift she's feeling good this is fun Rosie O'Donnell is coming out to play yeah and there are rumors she would love to come on the view but that the brick wall standing in her way is none other than woopy goldberg what do you know Rob yeah what piece the queen of the view so anybody that pretends it's an ensemble staff is just not telling you the truth a friend of mine a really talented producer not so long ago was up for a big

job at the view and she met with the executives and they really liked her and they said the next step is meeting woopy not joy not certainly not anybody else woopy woopy decides who works on that show woopy decides who sits at that table it's woopy show I've been at that building and you see the difference

towards woopy goldberg if you ever notice the photographs released official pictures woopy's always

center it is woopy show and so for anybody to go back particularly somebody there's high profile as a Rosie O'Donnell for her to go back it would have to go through woopy and woopy is having none of it Rosie said that woopy was one of the meanest people she ever worked with she's really on the record she said it was an awful time at the view and she said woopy was particularly mean to her

“and I think it's because Rosie is the only worthy competitor that she's ever had on that show”

everybody else folds I don't even know the names of the other ones joys being there forever but she's more like a comic relief than somebody that's going to challenge you and she's great at that and so Rosie is a star woopy it's so true love her haters yes star she's a subtalling television she changes the environment when she walks in a room the atmosphere changes for better or worse and so they've invited a lot of people back at to be I don't think Rosie wants to go back full

time she's not looking for that but a lot of people including Elizabeth Hasselbeck a lot of people have gone back Sherry Shepherd who used to be on that show woopy is the world flat or round Sherry Shepherd that's exactly gone that's exactly what Rosie has said that she would go back but she hasn't been invited and so I dug around and I was like television is about ratings Rosie returning to the view is ratings the nuns people that don't like her are going to watch

people that like her everyone's going to watch that and so I said so what's the real reason here

“and they said it's woopy will be does not want Rosie at all back on that show and I think it's”

I think it's self self preservation because let's be honest woopy's been phoning it in for oh yeah oh yeah she barely bothers to get dressed she barely bothers to read the teleprompter it's just a cash cat for her Rosie doesn't do that even a game if you don't like her she comes prepared she comes to put on a show she comes to be controversial she wants to make you laugh if they had woopy and Rosie on the same episode it would be so painfully obvious who was

doing the work Rosie oh you're so right okay our final item and I'm dying so we are talking on election day in New York so when this airs on the nerve at night the results will be in but I think we can predict this is a loser because he's been plummeting in the polls and I would like to think that the nerve again is moving the culture Jack Schlossberg who is once riding high the media industrial complex oh my god it's JFK's grandson is Caroline Kennedy's son he wants he wants

a congressional seat maybe we should give it to him is he mentally ill is he possibly allegedly reportedly maybe on drugs who cares he's a Kennedy as he plummeted in the polls this guy who is going

in mommy has at the eleventh hour as all great mature people running for elected office do bring in their mommy talk to us Rob oh it's awful so so Jack really tried at least to give a perception that he was his own man he didn't ever mention the Kennedy legacy he sort of ran away from it he wanted to be Jack which is the same name as his grandfather by the way but nevertheless he wanted it both ways he wanted us to think that he was his own man and he had his own ideas

and he was smart and he was the future of the party the problem is is the only reason he had that

position was because of who he is who he he is related to and so is his polls really plummeted he started pretty pretty well he got a lot of press that Kennedy name will get you on all the TV shows and so he got the advantage that the other candidates don't there's no rock stars there's no other celebrity in that race maybe George Conway a little bit but he's the name brand there and people just were not responding to it in fact they were running away from his campaign so what did he do

he got Caroline to come out and do a really awkward video we know she doesn't like this Caroline

“Kennedy only likes press when she wants it and she doesn't run for office you have to give her”

an office you have to give her an ambassador ship she doesn't earn it she but she will accept it and so they did a video and I think the video has really really exploded in a bad way there's been real backlash about this because all jack is done it's a reminder to us who he is and so standing there with his mommy begging for votes it's just such a bad look and it's so bad of touch and I think maybe 10, 15 years ago the Kennedy brand might have swayed more people but it's a

tarnished brand now and so to be trying to dangle something in front of us that is no longer gold isn't going to work so the results are going to be coming in by the time you watch this we'll know the results but let's be honest he's not winning this seat and what happens the next day what

does he do next his 35 years old he's never had a job he thinks he's worked his tail off for

probably four or six weeks to run and it's not going to work he's not going to be a congressman from New York and again Rob you know it's those of us here in the digital lane as you said when he began his race he was getting a lot of glowing media coverage from mainstream media outlets that still seek to prop up a Kennedy legacy that they know is garbage they know it's a lie but there's in love with it is anybody else and there's money to be made by propging it up

and it's those of us here in the digital lane you meet the nerve and ask not I would I would humbly submit that has really really rocked the Kennedy this bullshit down to its foundations people look at this guy and they're like wait a second the New York Times and MSNBC and CBS Sunday morning is telling me he is the rightful air to a legacy that we already know is bullshit

and what's really going on is this is a 35 year old man who's never had a real job

who lives off of four trust funds and can't answer a single question as no idea what it's like to be a working person in New York City when an average person struggles and concerns are

“thank you though go away right right it's interesting because I think you'll write and we should”

I was on the overnight flight from New York City to London I brought with me you know I always think

okay like I've gotten really good I used to pack a lot of books every time I would fly because I would always have a fear that I would finish one and need another one to pick right up and I have come in as I've matured into some wisdom here just pack one just pack one because you know you're going to the airport bookstore if you have time and you're probably at least going to stock up on magazines or you're going to go to bookstores at whatever your destination is and

this is true I'm going to go to a bookstore later today probably before I meet up with another

trouble maker known to us all and then yeah so that's basically it so I said to myself what should

I bring and I really thought what am I reading right now that I cannot stop reading even though I don't know if it's a good book like the flight attendant on on my flight was like is that a good book and I said I don't know all I know is it's a readable book and I can't stop reading it and what's interesting to me is that this is a book this is a book about fame and celebrity but our our narrator is unreliable but there are some truths in here and what is it's interesting to me

are the things in people that she is leaving out as the ones that she is leaving in okay we speak of Lena Dunham's fame sick and you know like oh bro I mark my books up so I took fame sick with me and on the plane I didn't want to watch anything I barely wanted to break for you know a little soup and salad this was it I could not stop reading now there are two people who do not appear one appears in a very brief and very complimentary way that is Judd Apatau who gave Lena her start with

girls okay we're critical of many things in people in this book including our parents our sibling

who was born a girl named Grace and who at the height of Lena's fame decided needed to transition to a male and had top surgery and was like saying to Lena I can't deal with you you suck all the oxygen out of the room Judd perfect he's perfect the other friend the other big name who we were friends with and rolling with and we're just celebrating a landmark birthday with here in New York City Taylor Swift she does not appear at all in these pages which I find for someone who's

writing about becoming super famous at a very young age and becoming a cultural lightning rod at a

“very young age very curious I mean I'm being facetious I don't find a curious I think Lena knows”

where her bread is buttered and I think Lena knows who she can afford to piss off an alienate forever and who she can't and I think she made the calculation Taylor she needs to keep her on side now to the people she really goes after okay Jenny Connor who is basically a supporting character in this book aside from her parents who she Lena is far too in mesh with her parents who I think have done a terrible job with their children one again anyone who is struggling

with obesity it can be a very complicated systemic process within the body there can be a lot of psychological things going on Lena Dunham writes of a major major drug problem she had many personal catastrophes self-inflicted and has since eaten herself into morbid obesity her sibling has since gotten top surgery and has decided that they are now going to live

“as a male I think that her parents did a terrible job she writes in here for parents again”

very young age taking her to see performance art in which women were masturbating she was a small child you know Jenny Connor who was the co-producer of girls who was an older she was older by Lena by maybe 10 or 15 years a mother divorced Lena writes of Jenny Connor as almost like a

favorite she wants to be Jenny's BFF all she wants and any given act like interaction is Jenny's approbation and praise and you know Jenny begins to distance herself as so many people do from Lena and if Lena doesn't take a wrecking ball to this woman you know I would love to hear

Jenny Connor's side of the story what broke them up was never explained by either one but Lena

never said why they broke up so famously as friends and production partners Jenny never has either I always suspected it was this one thing and in the pages of this book Lena says it is so now Lena and this is why I continue to just like her and think she's an unreliable narrator and a liar and she is not as sober as she would say she is to us she only refers to this event as like the big bad thing it's very kind of Matthew Perry coded right like he called his book friends lovers

“and the big terrible thing I believe that was the title that's the drug addiction that's the”

active drug addiction but he couldn't even say it in the title of his book right he was doing that

whole press tour hey I'm completely sober and this is all to help other people and he was lying he was lying to everybody he was dead of a drug overdose within nine months Lena's like you know this thing happened and it was so bad that out of respect for everybody involved lie just my opinion I can't even get into what it was I'll tell you what it was because I wrote a column that poured out of me at the time I was at the New York Post the headline I believe was Lena Dunham please take

your leave she and Jenny Connor issued an unasked for open letter released to the public in the wake of a young actress in New York City daughter of a very well respected actor Harold

“Perino who really made his name I believe on HBO's Oz and the wire if I'm correct his daughter”

credibly accused a male writer on girls of rape and car she filed a police report I believe she had gone to the hospital and a rape kit was done and what did these two do Lena and Jenny in the immediate aftermath of that being made public they issued this unasked for a public letter and they said listen the smugness was leaping off the page while we rarely would ever comment on something like this as if you know it's like it's like from the office of the White House we need your

commentary on every given thing we would rarely comment on something like this and we know that 95% of of reported rapes are legitimate or 98% you know it's a very very high statistical rate that those that reported rapes they're credible reports we have to say that this one definitely falls in the camp of lies this girl's making it up some in substance that's not exactly the wording that Lena and Jenny use but she's lying she's lying and that column and a shit ton of online

viral backlash really wallopped Lena denim into the cultural dustbin of history and she writes about it that stuff is real and it caused Jenny to fully basically be like I can no longer have anything to do with you the friendship break up took a little bit longer to effectuate as final but that was it Lena's garbage okay Lena's garbage I could not stop reading her book it's kind of a rubber necking thing it's kind of a Meghan Markle thing I couldn't look away the other person who really

“comes in for it and I think unfairly so jack Antonov the music producer she gets with jack Antonov”

and he pretty quickly realizes you know this is a this psyche is beyond my pay grade and he keeps

trying to extricate himself you know he's always on tour he's never really available he's always in the

studio he's working with other artists and Lena's constantly like where are you where are you now he has in effect broken up with her and she still thinks that they are going to be primary people in each other's lives now she moves to London she says she is sober and she is moved to London to get her life together um and what happens is she sets herself on fire in her apartment somehow now in her telling of this it's a complete accident and she's absolutely sober she says to the

reader I'm absolutely sober she set herself on fire so badly that she had to have a skin graft

I don't believe she was sober sorry I don't know people who've set themselves on fire

“while just going into the kitchen for a nightly cup of water I don't and then so the best part”

is she texts jack she's like I'm an ambulance going to the hospital in London what can he do he's

not even in London I've got like third degree burns over whatever I'm guessing there were third

degree burns and she doesn't get a text right away and she can't believe this isn't like she's not getting back to her finally you get back to her this is classic classic he text back and he says sorry I'm at a venue and there's really bad service you'll get through this you're the strongest person I know okay that's that's supposed to be the just leave me alone and continue with this unrelenting assault on yourself leave me out of it okay I have

extricated myself from this long ago she texts him back and she has credit this is what he is someone substance he texts her listen I I can't deal with this I really cannot this I cannot deal with this

“if you're really that scared you should text my mother okay so now he's punching it to his mom”

really what he should have said is you should text your mother but jack probably knows enough about that relationship with which lane it goes into you know it to a point text my mother so she texts jack's mother who's basically like oh I'm so sorry you know it's like it's unbelievable so and there's more the so jack appears again multiple times jack wow he really earned it you know I theorized

on a very early nerve that I never fully believed jack was really truly like sexually attracted to

Lena Dunham he had gone to his high school prom with Scarlett Johansson okay he had the likes of Lord throwing herself at him Lena Dunham I do think it was a stepping stone and as I said before he paid his effing dues he had sex with Lena Dunham multiple times have at it my man you earned it and he's got talent he's got real real talent so she's still agreed and she's still not over that she's inland in and she has the temarity I'm gonna read this little excerpt I was like I have to

don't know what we're doing at nightclubs literally in in them you know late at night early in the morning in May fair in London but here we are here we are again just my opinion just my opinion in comes a stary group again Lena writes that included Robert D'Niro Joe Pashie Martin Scorsese Al Pacino Harvey Kytel as they streamed in it's 10 o'clock the surprise was Bruce Springsteen she writes looking Ageless in a bandana and diamond airing now listen if you are of a political stripe where you're like

I cannot stand Bruce Springsteen and I don't want to hear anything having to do with him I must compel you to stay this is too good this has nothing to do with politics it's got everything to do with Lena getting smack down after having a psychotic break in front of Bruce Springsteen it's so good okay here we go and by the way note the credit that Lena takes here for Jack's career Jack Antonov is a genius okay note the credit this one note so called artist is taking

for Jack's career she writes I had met Bruce years ago with his wife while I was still with Jack

“while aggressing celebrities to share my work or any work is not even close to my thing I think she”

protests too much Jack's love of Bruce was so deep and his love of New Jersey that I took a deep breath and categorized it as the selfless work of a loving girlfriend after all Jack was doing

amazing work this is so condescending bringing industry and music to Jersey with his shadow of the

city festival shouldn't the boss and his family know I had heard that the bragged session had

Bruce Springsteen would never have heard of another tri-state music producer and musician

who was making a ton of waves like okay if not for Lena okay and they become friends and Lena's the odd man out as it were she continues after an awkward proposal of menus Bruce looked up at me with eyes so clear oh god I knew he saw my secret garden Lena knows that like he wrote secret garden like that's a woman's most private area but okay I knew he saw my secret garden and said Bruce since we last saw each other Jack has become very special to me now I do

believe that Bruce reads page six and TMZ and is you know an active participant in the culture

a night and new nightclub in the meatpacking district called bed with Samantha and her friends and she's spies two of burgers friends and she's like I'm going to go over there and I'm going to give it to them about burger and they're like don't do it don't do it and she does it and you're watching somebody unhinged just make a complete spectacle of herself from which there is no coming back that's this that's this and you know what I don't believe she's fabricating this because she has named

Bruce Springsteen and other celebrities and she's quoting Bruce and she's brought him into it and this shit went through legal so it's true Bruce Springsteen she writes could have done a lot of things in this moment he could have ignored me he could have demanded to switch seats or had me thrown out or yelled get your shit together girl this is not the ladies room instead he looked at me with the gentlest eyes eyes that crinkled with all the charm that our nation's creative father should

exude and said well Lena this is the hard stuff these are the questions artists must ask ourselves and none of us had that answer about how to best express our hurt through art but when I was

writing my memoir I told myself this again and again first off it's boring stop writing it

who's going to care why am I doing this continuing Bruce then says and second you don't owe it to people to be honest about every little thing that doesn't mean you lie it just means you can have secrets you only owe it to them to show them how your mind works Lena writes I swallowed hard trying to vomit a little puddle of diet coke and truth onto the fancy table it's very hard to write about people we'd love to he said and then this is the best

part he looked at me as if his eye contact was a hallway and I was walking deeper in Bruce and sometimes we forget that in the moment those relationships should have taken as much work as our jobs and with that Bruce turned to Robert and Ero who was comfortingly enraged this is Lena writing about Trump and went back to the business of being Bruce Springsteen so Bruce Springsteen was like excuse me Lena I need to exit this psychotic break you're having in

front of me we barely know each other we're social acquaintances at best I would rather sit here and listen to Robert and Ero for the eight millionth time have them melt down about Donald Trump

and try to calm him down incredible incredible I've only got a few pages to go and then I'm

headed over to foil's bookstore to stack up and I also need to get some British tabloids nobody does tabloid magazines better than the Brits that is it that is it for our inaugural London edition of the nerve we will be back on Friday with a full nerve now a couple of programming notes
