There is a natural flow of energy in the cosmos from the unified field of all...
That full spectrum is in existence now.
“We are believing and seeing and perceiving ourselves to be these physical beings.”
But we actually are energy that has compressed itself into this physical form. We are a nouned, international speaker, master of viral energetic medicine. And at the same time in USAID, the best selling author of the energy codes, Guatemala's show, Dr. Sue Moore. If we're wanting to find a way to regulate our nervous system by getting in touch with this energetic system,
what happens is we develop a sense of calmness, no matter what.
We develop a sense of presence that allows us to be in motion without getting ahead of ourselves.
“You have these five quantum codes that you've discovered that can help us unlock a higher level of consciousness.”
One of them is what presence? Yeah, one of them would be presence and the other is. Welcome back. My friend to the school of greatness. Today's guest is Dr. Sue Moore.
Who is a renowned international speaker, master of bio-energetic medicine in a pioneer in quantum field exploration.
He's also an LA Times and USAID today best selling author of the energy codes. And she focuses on teaching self-healing techniques rooted in quantum science and higher consciousness. Block them with a show, Dr. Sue Moore.
“Thank you so much. It's a great joint to be here.”
I'm excited about this. You have these five quantum codes that you've discovered that can help us unlock a higher level of consciousness. And I'm curious if we can break down these five codes and really so we can understand how to get to new levels for ourselves. Well, I've been working with the whole idea of how energy influences everything. Because everything is energy. Everything is made of energy. The chair that you're sitting in is actually made of energy.
That's just compressed energy into physical matter. And so our physical bodies are energy just compressed into form, et cetera. And so for 20 years I've been working with how to move that energy through our bodies and through our lives. How to really begin to be clear on what this energy is and how we are comprised of it and what it influences in our bodies. So I've written a couple of books. One is about seven different codes and the new book is about five more of those codes. It's just codifying a way that we can truly get to know ourselves on an energetic level rather than being trapped inside of a belief machine that is creating our reality.
There are energies that can really allow us to change our beliefs, to change our ways of being, to change our habits and patterns. If we tap into these energetic frequencies that are moving through the body. So if you could kind of think about it like acupuncture uses needles to reroute energy through the body to relieve pain patterns or to improve one's health, et cetera. And we have science shows us that we can move energy with our minds, with our attention, with our breath and our consciousness combined in the body.
So when we start working with this flow of energy in a conscious manner, we start to recognize that the body is actually revealing a language to us that we could listen to. We could learn the language of the body and recognize that these energies are trying to express energies that we suppress all the time. energies that we ignore and that we deny. Everyone has actually had an experience with this that if you've ever had a lump in your throat because of something that was happening in your in your life or a not in your stomach when somebody says something to you or enters the room even or heaviness in your chest or an instant headache when something unfolds in your life.
And so these are signs of energy being blocked, not flowing the way that it's supposed to. But what I started studying was in working with patients and clients and students around the world recognizing that actually when we start to listen to where that interference is. We start to learn something specific about how we're holding ourselves, what we're believing, what we're perceiving ourselves to be. And as that energy gets shut down because we've shut down in certain aspects of our whole consciousness, we start to experience symptoms.
We start to have chronic irritable bowel syndrome or a chronic allergy or asthma or a pain pattern that just doesn't resolve. And so these codes are ways to kind of categorize the aspects of our wholeness that we've shut down or that we've allowed for aspects of ourselves that we embrace or that we deny what we live into or reject. And so these five areas that you're referring to are aspects of presence, can I cultivate presence in my life or do I outrun myself in some way?
Am I outrunning something because I had some experience earlier in my life an...
It's unresolved and so I'm out there outperforming and out working toward achievement.
But actually outrunning something that I've been you know hiding not actually facing the thing that we're afraid of or ashamed of or resentful of. Right and not only facing it but like embracing it because if we're afraid of something in the world, it is a reflection of a part of ourselves that we've not yet embraced. So if I had embraced all that I could ever be, I wouldn't be afraid of this thing or that situation or that potential happening. If I knew who I was, if I really knew the fullness of my being and this is really where humanity is trapped.
We don't know who we are, we think we do and that we think we do. The limits that are associated with that are the perils that we're trying to overcome throughout our lives.
“Well, we'll we say, okay, so there's there are five of these codes that people can start to unlock, is that what I'm hearing you say?”
Yes.
One of them is what presence?
Yeah, one of them would be presence and the other is the fact that there is a natural flow of energy in the cosmos from the unified field of all videos all the way down to physical matter. That full spectrum is in existence now and we are here living in the physical world and these physical bodies doing these physical life things. And as such we are believing and seeing and perceiving ourselves to be these physical beings, but we actually are energy that has compressed itself into this physical form.
So there's also a version of us that is not physical. There's a version of us that is invisible energy truly. It is this invisible energetic template that builds the embryo in the developing womb in the fetus. And so there is an energetic compression that is happening that brings us into this physical world. And it does so by a series of compressions and expansions and compressions and compressions and expansions and expansions.
And so for instance, it shows us that there is a pulsation in the developing embryo before there is even a heart to beat before there's a heart to beat.
There's pulsation in the body. And it's not the it's an energetic pulsation like a heartbeat, but there's no heart beating for an additional, you know, four weeks before it develops.
“Is this the contract or just you've got a contractions of your culture?”
It's a pulsation. It's a pulsation is a pulsation happening because it's inside of the womb that is pulsating it or with this pulsation happen if it didn't have anything surrounding it. Well, it pulsates in a petri dish if it's if it's in video, if it's not in the living there, but if it's an energetic realization that it's like you can see it pulsating. Yes. There's no heartbeat.
No heart to beat. Well, I guess it's alive, right? So it's expanding. It's a lot of force. That's what I'm growing.
So there's some type of energy in there. It's that energy that I'm referring to. So that energetic presence is available to all of us. It's what we're made of. It's what we're here. It's how we're here. It is that essence of life itself and we're turning it on. I'm curious.
No, this is not be a little too deep, but it.
“If when the soul enters the embryo, is that soul, what's giving it the energetic pulsating or is it something else?”
That soulful presence is that life force. So when one dies at the physical level and the soul receives from that physicality, this body will eventually stop in its pulsation. And that intelligence builds the body. It is an innate intelligence that is developing two eyes when no two ears, et cetera. It is developing the systems of the body.
It remains intact and developmental throughout our lives. It develops a master system that then generates the nervous system and generates the hormonal system and the immune system and the digestive system. The respiratory system, all the systems of our body are under the management of this master system that maybe you're referencing as this soulful presence. But what we know is there is a systematic approach to the life force that brings us into physical matter. And that systematic approach is running our lives now.
If we let it, if we listen, if we allow ourselves to be connected and integrated in that way. But most of us land here and we sort of splat in our consciousness.
We come out into this world.
We externalize our power.
“We start looking to the elder world to figure out what's going on.”
And I say, if I'm not, so we jump into a dysregulation from the beginning of our systems, particularly our nervous system, which people are more familiar with, dysregulating the autonomic nervous system, which keeps us in fight or flight, externalizing our power constantly trying to control our environment so that we feel safe, so that we fit in, so that we know that all is well. And all the while, there's a bigger system than the nervous system. That if we would start to entertain it, if we would start to honor it and in live and magnify and amplify it by putting our attention on to it,
because we know that this is what happens when we put our attention on anything.
It becomes amplified, right? Put our attention on our problems. They get bigger, put our attention on solutions. They start revealing. And so the same thing is true here.
That when we put our attention on this master system, this energetic flow, something else happens.
And the nervous system calms down because it's now held in an environment that is more primary.
It's more whole and complete. And so if we're wanting to find a way to regulate our nervous system by getting in touch with this energetic system by feeling and sensing and learning to develop an ability to perceive it, what happens is we develop a sense of calmness no matter what. We develop a sense of presence that allows us to be in motion without getting ahead of ourselves. It allows us to drop in and feel our true destiny and to feel in live and to support it.
As if we're holding complete and we're here to reveal, not grappling and scrapping and scraping to find our wholeness. And to get our okay, check mark and to we can stop searching for problems to solve. Because at the end of the day, all we're good at is solving problems instead of becoming a creative master in our lives. So ancient Eastern traditions work with us a lot. And our Western world is trying to figure that out.
It's trying to include it in the narrative. So when we enter this world, you know, unless we have, I guess, two conscious parents that are allowing us to expand and explore and have, you know, creating a safe nervous system within us. A lot of people are setting to this default system, like you're talking about, based on the level of consciousness of the society that you're born into or the family systems you're born into or the communities you're born into. Certainly plays a role, a huge wise role. In how easy it is for us to go down that path with that kind of consciousness.
But I also think there's a reason that some people are born into a different environment when that doesn't have conscious parents, when that doesn't have opportunity, when that doesn't have all of the, you know, the support that one could dream up for themselves. So that they can discover it for themselves, to discover their mastery, to discover their creative capacity. Because there is a different experience in life when something is handed to you, then there is when you earn it, when you find it.
“Not that you have to work and blood sweat and tears to earn what stuff what I mean when I speak about that, because it doesn't have to be hard.”
But it does help us understand why things might have been hard for us when they didn't seem to be so hard for the next guy. If it was hard for me, but I have come through and I've put pieces together through abuse or abandonment or injury that was, you know, unresolved in some way. There is something that develops in an individual when we do go through those things that allows for a broader awareness. It depends our understanding of what we're made of and what is possible and on a felt sense level. And so when that is happening, you know, it is just as beneficial for the individual who didn't have it growing up as it is for the individual who did have that kind of support growing up.
I think there's a different curriculum for both of those individuals. They're here to accomplish different things. They're here to evolve themselves in different ways. So when you look at it from this longer game perspective, we start to see that there is benefit in everything. Instead of thinking, you know, I don't have the opportunities that the next guy had. And so how am I going to ever make it the way they did if I'm stuck in that type of thinking, what happens is I feel blocked in some way.
“So then I walk around looking for my blockages to figure out how to overcome them and how to achieve when all the while, if we could sit back and understand that everything that happens in our life is really, you know, for our own awakening.”
It's for us to evolve and to discover more of us than we ever might have known.
What's the biggest thing blocking you in your life right now?
The biggest thing blocking me in my life, I don't really feel like my life is blocked.
“Is there anything holding you back, limiting you that you're still having to overcome?”
You know, I, I'm not thinking of anything that I wish I could do that I'm not able to do. I'm not thinking of anything that I wish I could feel that I'm not able to feel. Pretty, was there ever a time where you felt blocked? Oh, yeah. What was that?
What was that like and how did you learn to overcome that? Yeah, so. What were you experiencing? What was happening in life? What was the, paint the picture?
Yeah, yeah. So I grew up in a family where, you know, quantum science was the dinner table conversation. Were you thinking?
The thoughts create things you were creating your reality.
My father was a pioneer in energy medicine using energy. That's cool. To heal people. It was super cool. It was a great, a great privilege really, an honor to be, to be that, to be in that.
And I graduated school, went to school, became a doctor, graduated, set up a clinic, was doing my thing, helping people heal. You know, just repeating what I had heard him say. I was passing it on, paying it forward, thinking everything was great. And I started getting headaches. And I couldn't heal my headaches.
I couldn't get rid of him. And so you're supposed to be a heal. It's wrong with me. Right, it was wrong with me.
I couldn't get this happening.
And so I was drawn to meditation, because I knew that meditation had helped some other people with headaches. Now, I ran anyways. I could go to the clinic and help other people with their migraine headaches day and day out. But then, when one would hit me, I would be down. Curtains drawn lights out two to three days and really, you know, in the row.
“Now, when you were helping your patients, was it through a medication?”
Was it through a manipulation? Was it through talk therapy, a combination of everything? What was the problem? So it was an energetic process where I was working with moving energy through their body. At the same time, the procedure that I was using that my father was developing in the 70s and 80s and 90s.
I was utilizing that, which had a relationship between certain energy patterns that we could see in the body. And symptom patterns that would accompany that. And different emotional states that would accompany that. So in other words, a person would have a certain unresolved emotion. And it would generate a physical pain pattern in the body.
And they would come into my clinic because they were in pain. They went in some help. So we would use this modality to determine what were the emotional states behind the scenes that were unresolved that were blocking energy in creating pain patterns and dysfunction in the system. So this emotional relationship to the physical expression was a direct correlation.
So we were working with that and it would work beautifully. People that had had migraine headaches for 28 years. They would come and get treatment sessions, three or four or five treatment sessions and be done after years of suffering with this. And so I start getting migraine.
“You were able to help them heal, but you weren't able to do it for yourself.”
Who it right? Well, I hadn't put my finger on it, right? I couldn't figure it out. I couldn't figure out what was the relationship inside of my life, what was going on inside of me because it was subconscious. And this is what we're all dealing with.
The issues are suppressed into the subconscious rather than operating on a conscious level. You know, most people, if they know what their issue is, they get busy trying to forgive it or release it or... I feel like sometimes people know and they like to hold on to it. Well, yeah. They hold on to this person abused me.
This person abandoned me. My parents neglected me. Yeah. This person cheated on. They loved to hold on to the victim energy.
Yes, there's actually a certain validation or a certain approval too. I guess I don't know what it is. A certain praise almost by holding on to it. Yeah. As opposed to saying, "Okay, this happened, but it's not going to define me."
Yeah. You know, this is a part of the story that where I learned how to create boundaries. I learned how to forgive something that was challenging for me. I learned how to self-parents when I was abandoned. Whatever it might be.
Exactly. I'm not saying I'm perfect at this. I've held on to victim energy of the past many times in my life. And it didn't serve me energetically. There's a juice to it.
Yes. What happens is we're actually gathering energy into our system. There are little packets of energy, packets of consciousness that really comprise everything that we know. Everything that we see, everything that we experience is energy. And these little packets of energy will call them photons, these subatomic particles.
When we are in victimization and telling our story and being in pain, we're literally drawing that energy onto us. And that's why it feels better to hold on to the victim story.
Especially when we tell people because they give it to us with compassion.
They feel for us. And so it's like an energy suck. It's just we're pulling it right into ourselves, unknowingly. And it feels good. So we keep doing it.
So we hold on to that because it gives us some way to receive more energy.
We think it's empowering, but really it's amazing.
It isn't.
“What happens when we become a vortex of negative energy of disempowering thoughts around victimhood energy?”
Where we think it's empowering, but what really happens to our bodies amongst us? Yes, what really happens is it drives our vibrational frequency down into one that can barely self-heal itself regenerate and self-aluminate. It literally turns down the throttle on the juice that's able to run through our bodies. So when we're constantly repeating the story or thinking about the story or wondering even how I'm going to overcome the story. If we live in that relationship with the story, we end up repeating and replenishing and rejuvenating the same thing.
We keep feeding the same thing. So what happens is we have to keep telling the story in order to keep getting energy from more people.
But it ultimately will only allow us to heal to a certain level, to accomplish to a certain level,
because full wholeness, full healing, full success in abundance and flourishing, vibrates at a totally different frequency than that victim's story. So at some point we're going to max out.
“We're going to hit the ceiling on what we're able to accomplish when we're holding on and repeating the story, et cetera.”
So it's all about allowing a way to vibrate at a higher frequency without faking it. You know, there's this idea of faking it until you make it. I find that people who are actually doing that end up in the scenario that we're talking about, because if they're faking it, there is a part of them that doesn't really authentically feel this yet. And so that part of them is now getting suppressed more and more and more,
while they're busy out here doing all the doing that it looks like being successful looks like,
that they're doing what they think and modeling what they've seen is supposed to represent their idea of success. But if they continue to leave this part of them suppressed and unattended, what happens is it festers. And it starts to create a duality inside of their system. It creates a disconnect. It creates a hidden part of self that doesn't allow for this flourishing of this energy flow,
which is the whole study of bio-energetics shows us that this energy is designed to flow through us. It is designed to move, we're designed to be flowing and when we harbor something, we stop that energy flow. And when we stop that energy flow, it generates hip pain, or back pain, or stomach problems, or indigestion, or asthma, or whatever quality of the suppression of energy. I would ever give my opinion.
Certain kinds of issues create certain kinds of issues, certain kinds of emotional suppression create different kinds of physical ailments in different physics. Different symptomatology. So you started to have, you were able to heal other people's migraines and other physical ailments, but then you started to have headaches and you couldn't heal yourself. Yeah, it wasn't happening.
So what was the, what was the, what did the process look like? How long did this last for? And then what did you learn from the unconscious thoughts inside of you that were blocking you from your freedom? Yeah. So went on for about eight months, maybe, maybe, probably three or four months by the time I was really realizing okay. I've got it. I've got a thing here. I can help this person and I started listening to what I was saying to them.
I started listening to what I was guiding my patients to do and thinking, you know what I mean? It's very, it's very, it's interesting to me to try some of this. It's good advice, why am I not doing this? It's interesting to me to be back with that headache and I'm like, okay, I'm going to, you know, so I started.
“And one of the things that I found myself saying to people was, you should learn to meditate.”
Because I, you know, research was showing that meditation was doing all sorts of, you know, medical, had all sorts of medical benefits. Because I was, you know, giving people that instruction and showing them the stats and the results, the things that were happening. And so I was like, you know, duh, all right, so go and meditate. And instantly, as soon as I was realizing that was something that I needed to be doing, something came across my desk. It was an invitation to go to this thing that was, you know, a meditation retreat.
And so I went in and I instantly started having transcendental experiences. Really, you know, here I am, you know, doctor trained scientific process, you know, going through stimulus response, getting results of my clinic.
It was in my head, even though I knew what I knew and grew up with what I gre...
I was operating on a different set of rules.
I was operating on the rules of, you know, it's got to be logical. I've got to see it, it's got to be tangible, et cetera, even though I knew. Even though you're dad taught you these other things. Just on a deep felt level, this is what was revealed to me, that even though I had heard all of the information, until I could accept it and embrace it and accept myself and embrace myself on a deeper level, there was a real challenge with what I knew and what I felt.
“So you need to just see it to believe it.”
I needed to feel it to believe it. Okay, so, and I didn't know that I wasn't doing that, you don't know until you know, right? So I went into meditation, but I instantly started having these transcendental experiences where I was lit up in another realm. And in that space, I recognized that I was, I was me, but I wasn't in a body. I was me, but I wasn't the one who'd had the story, my history really didn't exist.
I was me, but I was the one before there was abuse or abandonment or all of the all that unfolded in my life. It was you before your history of you. I had this physical voice. Yes, I had an experience of a timeless version of myself. What did that feel like?
It was completely complete.
It was whole, and there was nothing missing.
There was nothing broken. There was nothing to become. There was nothing missing. It was holy whole, like just. Okay, I loved, I loved all this stuff.
But if someone watch her listening is saying, that sounds great. I would love to get there, but we live in a physical world. Yeah. And I have bills to pay. Yeah.
And I have responsibilities. And I have peer pressure. And I have soulful challenges and people throwing things at me that they want me to do. And I have to please people and I have parents and I have kids. Yeah.
And I have all these things happening around me. Yeah.
So that sounds like a bunch of BS.
I don't have time for because this is what's real. Mm-hmm.
“So what do you say to someone who's thinking of that way?”
Yeah. But they're also having tons of pain or complications or stress or overwhelm or burnout? Yeah. In this world who's not transcending to different worlds. Right.
So, well, that was me. That was me. I was busy. I had responsibility. I had a clinic.
I had other doctors working for me. I had a staff. I had patients who depended on me. And now all of a sudden, I'm in this exalted state of consciousness. And I'm like, "You don't want to go back to you."
Yeah. I don't want to stay here. It's a meditative place. Absolutely. And I realize that, you know, the end of the day,
I have to bring this into the world. Yeah. And we have a culture right now that is really obsessed with escaping, like in whatever way that we can. And moving into out-of-body experiences people are looking for with,
you know, psychotrophics and things like this. And we're trying to escape into meditation. And really what we're supposed to do is move into those states, discover a version of ourselves, and insist on bringing that version here into the real world.
Into that. That is the key. If we're not embodying, we're just escaping. And we're actually creating more problems for ourselves. If someone, you know, listening or watching says, you know what?
All these psychedelic drugs. I see so much research on the benefits of them. So I'm just going to keep doing them. Whether it's a micro-dosting state, or I'm going to do them every month, you know, for a weekend retreats and just go to different worlds on my mind,
because the science is showing that it's starting to have some type of healing benefits. Where I'm going to do alcohol or I'm going to smoke weed because it got some benefit here. What do you say to those individuals that love external substances to create transcendental experiences? Yeah. Until they can bring those transcendental experiences into their life,
and actually show up for the relationship or show up for the job or show up for themselves in a deeper way, they're actually going to need more of that by the end of the year than they do right now. I see it all the time. You know, they used to go once or twice a year to their journeys. Yeah.
And now they're... Now they tell that, you know, I'm there on a monthly basis. Or meeting someone who says, "I've done this, you know, 250 times." And you know, if it... I used to say this to my patients in the clinic that, you know,
if the supplements that you're taking are doing you any good,
“you should need less of them a year for now.”
But they would come in with a grocery bag full of supplements. And so I knew that they weren't getting at the cause, that they were treating the symptoms. And so often time, I mean, everything outside of self is... You're potentially treating a symptom. If you're moving too far out of self, mind, body, breath, right in here.
We have the ability to transform.
We have the greatest pharmacy inside of us.
Yes, we do. You don't need to go out. I mean, let's say never.
“But I feel like a lot of the times we can heal ourselves with what's already inside of us.”
We can. We are built whole and complete. And if we're not aware of that, we are scraping and grappling for something that gives us some sense of a version of that momentarily. And so what we have to do is learn how to come home to that self,
and really build the neurosurgery to be able to support sense, feel, and perceive. You know, we are 10 to 100 to 1000 times more sensory than motor in our nervous system. We're sensory beings. We're supposed to be sensing and feeling and perceiving. And if we were perceiving the truth of who we were, we wouldn't be stressing out to
the point that we're out there overperforming and overdoing and over trying in order to accomplish something that we think we're supposed to. You know, when I returned to that state when I was in that state, there was nothing missing. And so the truth of me is that.
My job is to live into that and to allow it and to allow that version of me to show up in life without questioning and doubting and suppressing and doing all the things that we've learned to do
in order to present in some way that we think we're supposed to.
So when we start to learn to do that, by bringing our attention back onto the self instead of being externally oriented and constantly motivated by just what the Joneses are doing or what the other guy is up to. If we stop and feel what's really going on in here, we learn a whole lot about and turn on that pharmacy.
We turn on that chemistry that is allowing for healing and transformation in side of ourselves. Right. And creativity and idea generated. For genius, if we'll just let it, if we'll sit and let that happen.
“What would you say then is the root cause of all disease?”
So there is an area of our system where we are operating either in a healing, filtering, cleansing mode, or we're operating in fight or flight, high performance, you know, run from the bear fight, the bear, et cetera. And so if you think of this area in the brain as a trap door between our conscious and our subconscious, we have to keep the trap door open between
the conscious and the subconscious if we want healing to happen. If that trap door slams shut, we lose contact with what's really needed with what's really trying to resolve what's really eating us up inside. We become in touch with it. If the trap door can remain open.
So I'd say the number one cause behind all disease is unresolved emotion.
It's unresolved emotion which blocks energy and keeps us from flowing and healing. When the energy is moving, we are healing. When the energy gets blocked, we're breaking down and some form. So what is the main cause of blocking energy inside the mind of the body? Unresolved emotion.
Unresolved emotion. So what does that look like? You had an experience. You didn't want to do with it. You had a reaction to it.
You didn't know what to do with that. So you just suppressed it and went on. Because we're taught to, you know, broad shoulders. Be tough. Go get them.
And if we're capable. I mean, I was a capable kid. So I could broad shoulders. I can't do it. Don't make it happen.
I can handle it. I got a person hurt me. I'm just going to keep it. I'm just going to lie to me. That's not going to get in my way.
I'm going to keep going. Nothing stopping me. All right. Interesting. And then all of a sudden I ended up with migraine headaches.
So I couldn't go back.
“Because what was the emotion that you were blocking?”
You were not. The number one. It was a kind of a collection of emotions. It was it was truly an acceptance of self of who I am. You didn't accept yourself.
I didn't accept myself. What is the thing about you that you didn't accept? All kinds of things. I just inherently had an idea that I was supposed to be different than I was. Why?
Why did that come from? I don't know. My mother was the valedictorian of her class. My father was the salutorion of the same class. They were brilliant people.
And so I was raised in this environment where everything was known. And so if I felt something different than what was going on in the immediate environment, something had to be wrong. And it wasn't going to be them. Because they were brilliant.
They were award-winning brilliance. Okay. And so it had to be me. So we either. We either blame the outside.
Or we shut down on the inside. That's where a child, how you supposed to know everything that they know. It happens. Oh my gosh. The modeling happens instantly.
It's an impression. It's a little thing. It's a little thing. It's just little things of just like, oh, you're supposed to know this or whatever might be, yeah.
Little workable. Justures, energy and. You're not smart enough to know this. You do it my way the highway. I'll wait until you're ready.
Yeah. You'll know in 20 years. You're right. Just you just do it my way now. Right.
And so we all suppress that. We experience these kinds of things. And so we start suppressing our true knowing. And we disconnect from it. We suppress it for so long.
And so then we start slamming shut that trap door. Between the conscious and the subconscious. Because the subconscious is supposed to come conscious. That's what awakening is.
That's what we're here to do.
We're here to allow what subconsciously buried inside of us to come up and out. So that it's free. So that we're free. So that we're not hiding. So that we're not afraid.
“So that we're not outperforming or outdoing or trying to outlive some.”
Vision or view of ourselves that we think we're supposed to be. That whole image of the self that is killing us. So when we learn how to bring it home and to feel and to live into the truth that is happening here. We start to gather that energy. Those little photons start to gather and they start to become amplified because we're paying attention to that.
We've got our mind on us instead of on other. And when our mind is on the truth of me, it starts to become amplified. And when that truth is amplified, it starts to rise up and kind of open that trap door.
There are basically three brains in our system.
There's a brain in our gut and a brain in our heart and a brain in our head. And the brain in our gut is served by these little antennas through epigenetics, which, you know, beautiful studies. Epigenetics, little antennas on the surface of the cell that pick up on the vibrational frequency of their environment. And then they report that information inside the cell. And we produce chemicals based upon that messaging.
And those chemicals rise up through the system in the form of hormones, it neurochemicals, etc. And they pass through this heart, this brain in our heart.
“And the brain in the heart has neurotransmission creating capacity.”
We build chemistries in the heart. We didn't know that until more recent years. And so inside of that through what has heart and meaning to us, we build chemistries based on that. Which then rises to the brain in our head and transcends the primitive brain. And allows us to move into our high brain centers where creative genius resides.
And if we're not listening here and here, we're not amplifying that deep gutteral core wisdom that's trying to rise up to the heart. And we're not listening to our hearts. What happens is we get stuck at this primitive brain level. So we're convinced that we have to go out and survive and get up earlier and do the thing and make it work, etc. When all the while, what's trying to be revealed is, you've got this.
It's okay. Your way is fine. It's enough. You're enough. You're more than enough.
So I wasn't making that connection. I was living in my head, which is why I got headaches. I blocked the energy in my head. Too much energy in my head, not allowing it to circulate in the way that it's designed to be circulating throughout the whole system. This energy is designed to land here in the term of billions of bits of information that are bombarding us every millisecond.
And it's supposed to be translated by these little cells in the body. The body literally carries the wisdom. And if we're just living in our heads, we're not here in the body to glean from the wisdom that's on the rise. So there are levels of consciousness aspects of our wholeness that are here in the body that if we're living down inside the body, we can sense it and we can feel it. And we can learn to allow it to contribute to the wisdom that's on the rise.
And when we allow it to be amplified, we speak from that place. So it's the equivalent of accepting oneself, but we're not in our heads trying to learn to love ourselves. We're in the body feeling it. We're feeling the love. We're being that loving presence and that is the greatest wisdom and power of on earth, you know, amazingly so. So I wasn't, I understood it intellectually.
Right. And so I was getting headaches because I understood it intellectually. I wasn't in my body with it.
So when I had this transcendent experience, I realized this is amazing.
And I had, it didn't change my life. You weren't on, you weren't on a psychedelic with the train. No, no, no. No, I sat down and closed my mouth. I was breathing, breathing.
“So you had an out of body experience or a transcendental experience?”
Yes. Or you didn't feel yourself, you wouldn't know. No body, you didn't have a body, you didn't know form, no time, no sense is nothing. Nothing. Well, I had senses in that I could see the earth beneath me, the size of a marble.
Okay. I could see in 360 degrees around me in a light so brilliantly bright. It was 10 times brighter than the brightest day in the desert I'd ever seen. And I was like, it's amazing. If I had free will, I could take a breath.
I could breathe big or breathe small. And there was this transcendent, this translucent iridescent pink blanket of a horizon. And every time I took a breath this horizon would rise up. And then when I would exhale it would lower. And it was just this amazing presence.
And I knew that I had always been there.
And I knew that this was the truth of what we are. And that this project, down on earth, was the thing I was doing. That this is who I was and this this was what I was doing. It was an amazing transcendental, multi-dimensional experience. And so there I was.
And I wasn't taking anything at all. And so what I knew was when I came down out of that that there was a world that I had no idea existed.
A world that my friends that have had near death experiences have described i...
When they would write books about it, they later became my friends because I would reach out and we would connect.
And recognizing that I was having those same experiences without the near death, near death moment. But I also realized that while I was now aware of something, it didn't change my life. Did you fall right back into the old patterns? Yeah.
“Well, ironically, amazingly, so in fact, I wrote about that in the book, it was like, that's how how willing we are to marginalize our greatness.”
We know that there's something else, but direct experience with it. Oh, so like left it there and came back here. Why is that? Because it was so ingrained, so entrained, so... Automatic, Automatic.
Autopilot plugged into something missing something broken, something wrong, got to fix it. So, what happened was I had these flashback types of experiences from time to time. Just these lucid memory experiences of it. And I started realizing that I had to stay in my body more. In order to be able to study it or to research it or to look into what was happening in my consciousness.
And so I learned that I had to get in my body that I was living in my head too much. And so, as I did, I learned how to bring my energy, my consciousness back into my core, back into my system. I started teaching my patients how to do the same. They started getting better faster and staying better longer. I knew something was happening just because I was doing that.
My headaches went away because I was now distributing that energy in my body in a way that I had never known to do before.
And so, I was learning about consciousness and learning about energy centers in the body and routing energy flow. And I was studying the bio energetics of the system in a very deep way, constantly, for a decade. And then I started recognizing as I was teaching my patients along the way. And they were having the responses that they were having that there was, I was on to something.
“And so, I began codifying what was happening and that's what really became the research and the writings that I've been bringing forth because people were healing faster.”
I healed the scoliosis that I was born with, a curvature in my spine through these means that I'm describing here. After the headaches went away, the next thing that started happening was my body was now anchoring energies in ways that it never had before. So, excuse me, before because I didn't know that I didn't know until I knew until I figured out that I had to ground myself in my physical form in order to bring those high frequency experiences into my life, to make a difference in my life, to make a difference in my health and my relationships and my abilities in the clinic.
Even though I was getting great results, there were still times in my clinic when I was getting started where I had to decide which bills to pay. You know, we had to make these decisions because that was the level, the limitation of exchange with the universe that my system was allowed to do based upon my beliefs about self, my perception of self and who I was. And so, as I got into my body, this exalted experience of self started having an exalted effect on my own physiology and on my own relationships and on my own success in the clinic.
And I started moving out into other opportunities and my life started unfolding in the most amazing way because flow was happening in my system.
Flow was happening instead of a resistance in a blockage and a shutdown in a guard and a protection that was in place.
“What did you say it was before like diseases and emotional not knowing what to do with the emotions or what did you say it was?”
We suppress unresolved emotions. We don't know what to do with it. The surge of energy comes up and we're like, "Well, I don't want to be angry. I don't want to have an outburst." But at the same time, I can't ignore deny this, so I'm just going to contain it best I can. So what does someone do then to, if they have an emotion that is an angry emotion and a resentful emotion, a emotion that doesn't serve them or someone around them to express.
How do they express an emotion in a healthier, conscious way if they feel like they've been hurt? If they feel like something wrong has happened to them. How do they express that so it doesn't stay blocked and they allow for flow to occur? One of the things that people do is they try to use the mind alone to solve a problem of the mind and it's tough to do. We're asking the mind to do too many things that it's not actually built to do.
But if we connect the mind with the body and the breath, the mind is amplified because together they are more.
Different vibrational frequencies, the body operates on an alpha frequency in...
The mind gets up into other vibrational frequencies where it's worrying and analyzing and pontificating and feeling in blanks and getting anxious, et cetera.
And so when you direct your mind's attention onto the body, what begins to happen is it starts to slow the mind. Just like slowing your breath will slow the mind. When you slow your breath, it slows the mind. And when the mind slows, instead of it generating a frequency like this, it starts to generate a frequency like this. And there's more spaciousness between the thoughts.
So we don't have a knee-jerk reaction into saying something or doing something that we don't want to say or do, even though we want to say it or do it. And so what it happens is it brings us into this calmer state, but there's so much more than just doing that. When we bring the mind's attention onto the body, the body is going to offer up an answer that your mind alone can't find. What's that answer?
“And the answer is to the question, instead of asking, why do you do this thing that upsets me so much?”
Why do you keep doing this?
I've asked you not to do it, but you keep doing it. Instead of asking, why is this happening to me? What is wrong with me? Instead of asking why questions, we need to ask where? A where? Questions? Where? Where in my body do I feel the charge in this moment where this person is doing this thing or the situation is going this way? And here's why.
Different areas of the body are associated with different levels of consciousness, different aspects of our wholeness. In other words, deep in the rooted core, right in the pelvic floor is our rootedness. And if we're alive and there, we are knowing that this is our gig. This is, we're okay. We fit in. This is our game. It's not me fitting into somebody else's world.
I have a contribution. I have a place here. I belong. The next one up is this deep core wisdom that is available to us. It's a nurturing presence that is sort of a gathering space where wisdom really resides. And so if we're in live and just below the naval, we're allowing our deep wisdom to stir. And if we're in live and just above the naval, just right where the ribs play a part, there's a version of personal power that we have access to without trying to be strong.
It's just an inherent strength and presence that is a part of who we are in this world. It's inherent in our system. And above that, of course, we know the heart and, you know, people are more familiar with. If we're alive in our heart, we have an unconditionally about us. We'll begin again. We forgive easily. We move toward what has heart and meaning to us, et cetera. There's another level of consciousness in this throat area that has to do with our ability to speak our truth,
to take action, to manifest, to bring our dreams to fruition, and aspects of our consciousness higher up in the head that have to do with our multi-dimensionality, with really that we're not just physical form. There's more to us. And that's where this trap door is that if we allow this trap door between the conscious and subconscious to open, it will be opening because we're integrated in a systematic way.
“And so by doing so, when we ask, when we're triggered, if we ask, where in my body am I triggered?”
Where is this? Is it here? Is it here? Is it here? Is it here? Is it here? And if at first we start asking that question and we're like,
I don't know, I got nothing. If we keep working with it, what happens is you'll notice that your mind immediately goes to an area of the body that the body has not been animating like it could. Like we haven't been living in that area. Your mind is going to go there because the mind and the body and the breath were originally designed to work together, but we split off and just operate on the mind alone. We are identified as a mind. We get controlled by our story.
We're using the mind trying to out-think ourselves and it's tough to do. It's about breaking old belief patterns, et cetera, and using the mind alone is tough. But if we will say, where in my body could I activate additional levels of consciousness and turn them on? That would allow me to better handle this situation. The system is going to answer the question instantly. It's pretty crazy.
“So all of a sudden, you'll be like, I don't know. I'm asking the body, where could I build the circuitry to better handle this situation?”
And my attention is right here, but I don't feel anything, and then they'll realize, oh my gosh, there's some attention going on right here, or there's some attention happening right here. There's something starring in my gut right now. And all we have to do is start paying attention there. And the next thing you know, a language is going to reveal to us.
It does. I work with thousands of people around the world. Do you get all the examples? What that would look like if you have a blockage in your throat when you think about something, or if you have an anger in your stomach, or some type of fire feeling in your stomach when you're frustrated about something. And you do this process and you say, okay, mind, where is this energy being blocked or where is it heightened?
It reveals itself in one of these places.
And then what's the--
Then what do you do? Okay, happy to share.
All right. So then the next thing that we're going to do is listen. We're going to go to this area. And there are lots of charts that tell us what these different areas mean and what they represent in this place. Shocked. And I've developed more of a clinical approach to that in the areas of the body that are associated with this
and the types of consciousness that are involved, et cetera. And so what you do is you bring all of your attention into that area. Your mind went there sort of. So you go the rest of the way. You like bring all of your attention into this area, whether it's in here. You focus on the pain, the frustration, and the person of the event or the--
The area of the body. You don't think about-- I'll letting go of the story for a minute. Everything, the story, the frustration in there. Because we're asking, you know, take me out of the story.
Okay.
So go to the body instead of the story.
Go to the body instead of the story.
“If you want to solve the story, you need more ammunition.”
You need more equipment. You need more fuel to transform the situation that the mind alone obviously isn't handling very well. Because how many years have gone by and you're still upset about that same thing. Or every time that family member does that thing, it's still affection. So clearly, there's something more that we could do that shifts it.
Okay. Shift it. So you focus on the area of the body. So you come into the area. You don't just stay in your head and think about the area of the body.
You become the area. You come into the body. Like you're going in an elevator. Yes. You're going down the elevator shaft into this area.
Okay. So you go into the throat or your stomach or your heart. And that's the area. You go into it. And then what do you do?
And you go in there.
“And I recommend that people kind of hug the musculature around that area.”
Just to keep the mind stable on it. Because the mind is so used to darting around and going back to the story and getting all entangled in us. It's got to grab the mind. You've got to take your mind back. You've got to claim it back here and bring it into the body.
And by doing so, you bring potency into the energy that we've been speaking about the whole time. That energy becomes amplified in that area of the body. And so by amplifying the energy in that area of the body and you sitting in there and breathing.
Here's what's going to happen.
You're going to breathe. And you're going to turn on love. You're going to love that part of yourself. You're just going to get there. You're going to get there and be with it.
And if you can't muster up a feeling of love because you're already so upset about the situation that's going on. You just sit there and breathe. Sit there with it and breathe. And if you'll breathe in just a few deep breaths while you're anchored in this area inside the body. What begins to happen is you'll feel an energetic shift.
You'll feel something start to feel calm. You'll feel something register like something let go. Something just released in some way. And so instead of letting go of the story what you're doing is you're coming inside your system and you're activating the parts of your system that made you react to that situation. You reacted to the situation because you weren't in live and in this part of your consciousness the way that you're meant to be.
You're in a flow. You're blocked. Exactly. The pain went to that blockage. Yes.
Yes. Yes. The energy blocked. It might create pain for somebody. But it might just create weakness for somebody.
It might create a different thing. Interesting. We already doubt what it is. Any sort of any number of things can respond because it is. So we actually attract circumstances into our lives that will draw our attention into the body to activate these levels of consciousness that we've been dormant in.
And so the things that trigger us are actually setting us free. If we use it this way of all of follow. I follow. I mean, there's a quote you have in your book page 85 of the new book you're talking about the anatomy of awakening. That says the mind isn't here to run your life.
It's meant to serve your unfoldment as creator. It's highest use isn't to think better thoughts or stop overthinking, but to remember who you are and to focus awareness where matters most for your evolution. So it's speaking into like that trigger is supporting you and becoming a better version of yourself. Yes. If you allow it.
If you allow it too. If you allow it. Right. So what we're talking about to put that in context is it's not that positive thoughts and higher thoughts don't serve us. We certainly know the research shows that it does, but it is about not allowing yourself to override a negative thought.
Don't just push it aside because there's no there's nowhere for it to go.
“So what's more important then focusing on positive thinking or eliminating negative thoughts?”
It's about not judging them. Either one. It's about allowing all of your thoughts to be valid. And when you embrace the one who's thinking a negative thought.
The version of you who's thinking a negative thought.
When you love that one, love the negative thinker.
Really? They'll stop thinking negatively. Really? Because the reason they're thinking negatively is to protect themselves. And the reason that they're protecting themselves are thinking that it's necessary to protect themselves is because we've suppressed the rest of who we are.
And so we're not operating from a place of wholeness. If we were operating from a place of wholeness, we wouldn't think negative thoughts. But it doesn't mean that when you think a negative thought, you're supposed to throw it outside and just keep thinking positive thoughts. Because that creates duality. It creates addiction.
It creates all the stories that we've seen where great people have fallen because something was not integrated. It creates disintegration. So what we have to do is take a look at what is this negative thought about. Let me just love you. Let me just see what the heck is that about.
And if you will take it to the body, learn to build the circuitry.
“Where can I build the circuitry to unpack this thing?”
So that I'm not out running it anymore.
I'm embracing it because when it's integrated, it's going to actually contribute to something amazing about us.
Can you give me an example that you had to learn to apply this in your own life? Was maybe a negative thought pattern that used to have that you learn to embrace and bring it into you. And stop judging that version of you? Yeah. I was very anxious a lot.
I would feel this thing in my stomach area. It was just like, "Yeah, constant." Really? Yeah, this energy that was just anxious. And so you were anxious about?
It didn't matter. It was just there. It was warming or what people thought of you or failure. Yes. Yes.
Every day.
All the responsibilities.
All the about. Looking good. All of it. And here's why.
“We have this feeling and we look around for something dependent on.”
But the feeling isn't side of us. It's not because somebody didn't accept mayor because somebody didn't believe in mayor. It's just, it's in me because I've been suppressing stuff. And so my system isn't trustworthy because I'm denying stuff. You're not trusting yourself.
Not trusting myself. So. And you're not trusting anybody else. How could you? If you can't trust here, you can't trust there because that's just a reflection of what's going on in here.
Wow, it's true. We're walking around in a movie that we're all projecting collectively. So if I'm not allowing the movie to pour through me in an integrated fashion, I'm going to experience a disintegrated movie. It's going to reflect back to me. Also that I can see that I'm not integrating within myself.
So it's all feedback to, to allow us to heal ourselves. To allow us to wake up. We're not here to survive. We're here to awaken.
“Sort of what the quote that you were reading was, it's about that.”
That we have to get out of this idea that we outrun our negative thoughts and keep pushing and keep going until we make it somewhere. It's not about that. So what happened for me was I had to embrace like this feeling. I was like, oh, what is this feeling? It's just an energy suit.
You can't be. It can't be that bad. Whatever it is that you're so afraid of. So I would just go into this area and breathe with it and not try to assign a story to it. Because when we assign a story to it, we dilute our ability to do anything about it.
Now I'm blaming the story. Oh, I feel anxious because you did this. That's a, that's a, a deflection. That's going to keep me in anxiety longer because when you go away, someone else is going to take your place. We're going to go find somebody that's going to activate this until I manage it.
Until I disassemble it. I disentangle it. So I had to just come present with the feeling itself. And what I found out was that feeling was actually great power. It was a tremendously empowering energy if it was integrated.
But as I kept denying it, it kept me in a smaller world. It kept me walking and talking and living and breathing in a way that was limited in terms of the story I was telling myself. The ways I was projecting it into, you know, the circumstances of my life. And so I would blame it on, you know, a work condition or blame it on my partner or blame it on, you know, whatever my circumstances were. And so it gets to maintain its identity because I keep defending the problem.
So I just went in and started embracing it. It's just feeling like, you know, you're just an energy. How can I possibly be so afraid of you, right? And I would sit there and breathe with it. And the next thing I knew it was starting to soften.
This wasn't this wasn't thinking about the. The things that were causing you anxiety on the external world. This was saying, okay, there's this feeling here of anxiety. I'm going to remove the story or the person or the fear or the insecurity, the doubt to the identity or the lack of identity around this feeling. That's called that's maybe triggering this feeling.
Yeah. And I go think about that. I'm just going to thicken the feeling. Right.
I'm going to go down the elevator shaft and my body to that feeling.
Hold the feeling and have a conversation with it. Sit with it. Breathe with it. And then do what specifically. Okay.
So it's it's a little hard.
“Okay, there's there's some technique that somebody has to learn.”
Okay.
So we first have to learn how to anchor ourselves in our body and that there's a central channel in this body.
Energetically energy runs through the body from above through the body into the earth. Rise is up from the earth. This is measurable. Rise is up. It generates this torque field flow that comes up again through the body.
Out the crown of the head rotates around the outside of the body. Comes back in at the base of the spine and recycles and recycles. And there's another one that cycles around the heart in a more concentrated fashion. It's called the torque field.
Lots of research on it out there.
“Bio energetics is what we're talking about here.”
And so if we bring our attention into the central channel of that whole donut shape energy flow. We develop a potency that allows for circuitry to be built that connects these multiple levels of consciousness that comprises. So an integration occurs. So now back to solar plexus. I'm in here.
Feel in this energy. And I'm just bound in determined to stay with it. And I do. And it starts to soften. And when it did release this release the energy that there was no sensation of that up tightness.
Because I had come present to it. I was conscious with it. I was not denying it and pushing it away anymore. By blaming other people or looking for the reason for it. I became curious because there had been too many reasons for it.
I was the common denominator. And this particular area of my body was the common denominator within that. And so I just started breathing with it. So then what I'm showing people to do is work with this whole central channel and breathing up and down this central channel. Allowing this newly freed up energy that's no longer contorted and compressed inside of, you know, my own denial.
Now I'm allowing it to contribute to the greater good, the greater whole of the system. And so by teaching people how to do this. They're, they're resolving back pains and headaches and digestive issues and chronic degenerative diseases. And overcoming diagnoses and prognoses and showing higher performance at work and showing higher performance and high performing athletes. And in terms of of a golf swing or no matter what the case is in hand eye coordination.
And in terms of a tennis game or things like this, we're starting to shift radically. Simply because we were getting the energy that we had been suppressing and pocketing away to now contribute to a greater vital force in the body that energy that built the body and that heals the body is now being freed up to run the body in a more profound way. It's almost like whenever you feel a blockage in your body through an emotion, it's almost like you have a flat tire. It's like, sure, maybe your car can go somewhere, but it's not going that well, it's not smooth, you know, it's like you're just hitting speed bumps over and over again.
As opposed, maybe you can get to the destination, but it's going to be painful. You know, it might still get you there, but it's going to be like you're, you're bringing a lot of baggage with your dragon like trash with you. And it's exhausting exhausting and this is burning fuel. One of the things that has changed in my life, I used to have to lay down at lunchtime to make enough energy to see the patients of the rest of the afternoon. I'd come in in the morning, see morning patients lay down at lunchtime, take a nap, have my staff wake me up 10 minutes before the first patient in the afternoon, then I'd be all ready to grow again to make it through the day and I was 25 years old.
I should have had enough energy.
“That's how exhausting I was creating, you know, that's how much exhaustion I was creating in my life.”
I wanted to take for you to practice this integrated so that it wasn't something that it was on autopilot where you were in flow, rather than always falling back into the old pattern.
Yeah, so, you know, I felt results immediately the moment I recognized, oh, I got to embrace this thing I've been trying to ignore. I got to find this thing and embrace it and so I developed a system, of course, to be able to do that because people aren't, you know, not everybody is, you know, not everybody is curious to devote their life to generating a system of doing something like this. And so, you know, this system allows people to do it, you know, with with with some basic fundamental things that don't take very long at all to learn.
And so I would, I would say that at first I would, it was maybe, you know, 30% of the time I would be, you know, in flow and 70% of the time I'd be back in the old. And, and they were how long, maybe for months, a few months.
Nobody was telling me how to do it, right?
So, in the process of all that, as I started putting more and more details into the system and taking care to cover the bases,
as all I was discovering was unfolding what I recognized was additional newer ways to teach it, more refinements happening along the way. And so now when I teach people to do this, they get results instantly. And they are, there may be triggered maybe five to 10% of the time instead of, you know, the flip side of that, how, you know, people are operating. These people are operating from a stimulus response, nervous system based reality. And there's more to it than meets the eye.
And if we would allow that to come into the mix, it's easier to change.
“Instead of, instead of us living life from stimulus in response, how should we be living life?”
So, we should be creating our life experience.
We should be determining what our experience is going to be, no matter what our external circumstances are. So, this work was really about learning to manage your internal environment, regardless of your external circumstances. And that has to do with energy flow and becoming present with yourself in ways that you haven't been. And unpacking these things that we've been denying that have been shoving down energies that we actually need. Those energies that are now freed up carry me not only through a day of treating patients, which I'm not in the clinic anymore.
I'm teaching on a regular basis, but I can teach, you know, speaking with you before we got started seven days in a row. And when it's over, I could start again because there's so much energy flowing and there's so much passion about it that it ignites this thing that I'm not running on mental activity.
I'm running on a flow of energy that comes through my system, and I'm just steering it.
And I'm teaching other people how to do the same. That's, you know, that's the most empowering, most rewarding thing. Now, I can already imagine someone in the comments saying, oh, my wife or my husband needs to learn this because they have a lot of blockages and whatever. Can I see people saying, oh, I got to get someone to get this book, I get to give this to someone that I know is struggling. But you're saying at the beginning also that we're already holding complete.
“So how do we come from a place of knowing we're holding complete?”
Not trying to fix someone else that we also know might be suffering or going through their own pain. That doesn't want to listen to that friend or partner or spouse. Yeah. How do we empower the people we care about the most to set themselves free if they're not willing to? You know, that's a great question. And what I find is the most effective way to make a difference in the household is to do the work ourselves.
And we transform, we shift the energy that vibrates off of us, emanates and radiates from us, changes. And the people around us start to notice that and we start action differently. And we stop over trying and overdoing and overgiving. And we start taking care and integrating and empowering and that energetic dynamic shifts. And pretty soon people become curious like, what are you doing? What are you doing? Something's different. Something's different about you. And now they're open, but they're not open until they're open.
“And so the best way that I find for people to open is for those that want someone else to open to become what it is that they want to see in their partners.”
So they're family members or their coworkers, etc. So if someone is feeling stuck in repeating patterns in a life that are limiting them, whether financially emotionally relationships, would you say that's a mindset issue or an energetic issue? Yes, both. So the mind is energy also.
It's just that when we identify as the mind alone, we rule out other energies that could be helping the mind create these breakthroughs. Or to change these habits or to do these things differently. To perceive oneself differently, we have to be something different on the inside. And what that means is not that I have to change, it's that I have to allow more parts of me to be in the conversation. I have to allow more of me to be present in my decision-making moments.
I have to allow the stirring of energies of my own deep core gut feelings, my own internal wisdom, to have a big voice. And when we're living in our heads, we tend to suppress everything other than what looks strategically like the smartest and safest thing to do in this moment. And so we build a life based on strategy instead of a life built on wisdom and flourishing and abundance. And so when we learn how to enlive in these parts of us, they have a bigger voice.
They're contributing and the mind starts to notice.
In fact, we're even training the mind to bring them into the conversation.
When we take our attention to the body, that's exactly what we're doing.
“We're saying, hey, what do you have to say? What's going on down here? What's happening here?”
And the vibrational frequencies ground the mind. The vibrational frequencies, if you're gut, they ground your mind. The vibrational frequencies, if you're solar plexus, they ground your mind. Your heart grounds your mind. So now your mind is thinking differently. Or it enhances the fear in the mind if that energy is blocked.
Right? If you're like the energy in your gut is blocked, your heart is blocked, your throat is blocked.
Your mind is going to be racing.
Race anxious, thinking about what is this thing that's causing me this pain, this frustration? I need to go fix that thing externally, right? Or I wish that wasn't happening or I wish my boss didn't say this or I wish my spouse would whatever. Right? Where is the whim of the outer world? Yeah. And so then the mind is going to be racing because of that energy.
Because we're shut down here, now it's all up to the mind. Now I've got to use my mind for everything. I'll think about that. And that's exhausting.
And it generates anxiety even more.
And it generates all sorts of short-fused issues that people have of impatience and intolerance and judgment. So forth because the mind is going to start ruling out everything that is too much work for it. And it's going to make everybody wrong except for these few things.
“And so it generates this dualistic reality trying to narrow down your options so that it can keep track on what you need to do next to be successful.”
And it's shooting itself in the foot. It's survival mode versus creator mode. Yes. Right? It's like, how do I survive and accomplish versus how do I come from a place of harmony, integration, expansion and realization? So think about it. When one feels whole and full and complete, what you want to do is share an open doors for people and be there.
And when one doesn't feel that way, they're looking for what's in it for me. How can I get something? How can I survive? You know, how am I going to get through the next week? And so what we're doing is opening that trap door and allowing ourselves to not be stuck in this fight or flight, autonomic nervous system, dysregulation, sympathetic dominance, where we're just on edge, exhausting, running out our adrenals, creating thyroid issues,
generating hormonal problems because of it, we have to stop that. And to stop that, we have to do something differently. And so by bringing the mind onto the body, we allow it to reconvene with a new team member, you know, a new with new members of a team. Now, it's belongs to a team instead of being this isolated separate self. It's having to do everything on itself.
The team being the gut and heart as well as the solar plexus. Your bet is our personal identity is represented right in this place that was in knots in me. My personal identity is our personal identity is associated with this solar plexus. So if we're shut down there, we're shut down as an individual sovereign presence in the world. And we are constantly trying to fit in and belong and do the right thing and overpleas and overgave and overdo.
You know, that was, if someone is a people pleaser or trying to prove their worth constantly or trying to fit in constantly. What are they saying? What is it that they're really saying? I'm unworthy. I need you to love me for me to be, to me for me to exist. I need you to tell me who I am. I need your approval. I need, I'm incomplete. Why do people have people gone to that place and how do they get back to the place of knowing they don't need the approval of everyone else around them?
Because it's one thing to say, yeah, I don't care what anyone thinks, but usually when someone says that, they care so much what somebody thinks. That's not it. That's a defiance. That's me relative to something else. And so I think that when we land here, we sort of splat and our mind and our body and our breath go in all sorts of directions. And so we come up identified with the mind. We land kind of face down on the mind and we come up identified there.
“And so we think that's who we are. And so that's why beliefs are running our lives.”
Is what the mind believes means more when I'm identified as the mind. But if I pull mind body breath together, I'm actually identified not as the mind, not as the personality, but as a soulful presence that is here. And so the closest the mind can get to that is developing the witness mind. The observing mind is right at the edge, at the space between the two, which is why it's so important to develop the witness observing mind.
So what I'm saying is, if you'll direct that witness observing mind to the bo...
Where in the body could I build some circuits to better be able to handle life in my wholeness?
That witness observing mind is going to develop an ability to sense and feel aspects of your own consciousness that have been being marginalized by you. What is the difference between your mind and your witnessing observing mind? So the mind has think of it this way. An analytical, strategizing, thinking, mind and an observing, witness, presenceing mind. It's all mind, but we use it in one way or the other.
And so the invitation here is right when you find yourself using your mind in this analytical push-drive, strategizing way. Let's get the body involved. Let's slow that down because it's driving your life off core, off center.
“And your way out here, having to make it work and that's why people burn out.”
That's why people are trying to retire and trying to get out of it. And finding ways to try to function in the world that it seems too crazy is because they're not grounded in their true timeless presence self.
And if they would call their mind onto the function of witness, observe, come inside.
You're going to be able to unpack versions of yourself. You've been overriding and suppressing for decades. And that energy is the energy that you're craving, running down the street, overperforming, over trying, overdoing in a way that is costing you. What is the energy that everyone is craving the most? What they're actually craving versus what they think they're craving, two different things.
What they're actually craving is love. What they think they're craving? Success, accomplishment, achievement. So if someone would have both in mind the same time, they would achieve sustainable achievements. They would succeed in sustainable ways.
“So if they allow love to be in the mix while they're making their decisions,”
if they're allowing the wise loving presence that built the body to be contributing to the decisions that they're making,
they will make decisions that will be successful and they will be sustainable. Because this power of the universe is really behind it. They're not out there operating as a separate self, strategizing, doing what the next guy's doing trying to make it work, because the other guy made it work. But the guy that they might be taking their cue from might have been really following their passion.
So if the person who's emulating the person who was following their passion, they might not be following their passion. They're following the guy who's following his passion. We follow. So they try to do the same things but it doesn't work. We have to learn to do our thing.
And it will take us to beautiful places, successful places, flourishing places. We just don't have the confidence to believe that because we don't trust ourselves.
“And we don't trust ourselves because we've been suppressing ourselves.”
Why should we trust ourselves? So let's start where we need to start at the beginning. First things first. Let's start trusting ourselves. So if you have a negative thought, you have a darn good reason for having that negative thought.
It probably started before you were five years old. And so it's just reinventing itself because it's been unaddressed. So you go back to that one and you hang out. You're like, what's it about? What is that thought about?
What's the feeling behind that thought? What's going on with you? And you connect your consciousness with that version of you today. And if you involve the body in that, it will be sustainable. So you ask where in the body could I build the circuits to better listen to and honor that part of me next time.
To be in communication, to be in integration, to be in a loving presence with my whole full true self. And when I do that, I can trust myself. And so now the gut feelings that rise, I don't suppress them. I can actually hear them. They're actually making it up through that trap door.
And I can catch it as an inspiration and intuition and knowing. And I can take an action based on that. And it's going to be in alignment with what I'm meant to be doing in this life. And by true nature, we're supposed to flourish. You know, we're created to flourish.
We're not supposed to suffer. We're not supposed to be burnt out and exhausted and anxious. It's optional. And it's just not worth it. It's not.
Obviously. If someone has an identity tied to a lack of self worth. And their identity has been so strong for so long.
They've held on to this identity that does not support their growth.
That does not support their flow and their flourish meant.
“Is this also the work they need to do around the identity?”
Or is it just going back to the place in the body that you're feeling pain or stuckness or blockage? Like, how does identity play with this? You know, so what happens when we start to free up this energy by where my body could I build the circuits? And I come in and it takes me to my throat or it takes me to my heart or it takes me to my gut. It takes me to my solar plexus somewhere in the body.
And over and over different situations, we do this multiple times a day you can do this.
You know, in this situation, any time you're triggered, any time you're dreaming a dream that isn't manifesting in your life.
You can ask where in the body could I build the circuits to allow this to manifest? So it takes our attention into the areas of our consciousness that need to be able to open and flourish and be in live and by our awareness, by our care.
“And so by caring, what happens is we open up this super highway.”
One circuit building moment at a time, it opens up this super highway in this historic field flow and what happens as a byproduct of that is what rises up from inside here. Read defines us automatically. We find ourselves thinking differently. We find ourselves responding differently in life. We find ourselves trusting those innovative ideas that are on the rise and taking action toward them instead of having someone validated for me.
Instead of having to wait for a safe time or a right time. And so my identity is reformulating itself. I'm not doing it with my mind. It's revealing itself to my mind. And that is a different ball game. Now we're actually operating as a creator.
We think that we create with driving thoughts into our bodies and into our lives. And if we were, if we were also at the same time giving and honoring a wisdom that is rising and intelligence that is rising up a genius that is rising up through us. If we would allow that to have a bigger voice than the one that's in the head alone, we would be making different decisions that would take us to our visions and our dreams automatically. Without having to push and drive and make it happen, it would develop synchronicities in someone's life.
It develops flow. You think I thought like gosh, I need somebody to show me how to do XYZ.
“And the next day somebody shows up saying, hey, I do XYZ. Do you know anybody who needs that?”
And you're like, yeah, that was me. So it's, it's this idea of attracting what you want. It happens automatically because your true imprint is revealing itself because you're letting it. You're letting yourself emerge on a deep core level. And that emergence sues the mind because the mind is actually built to serve that. The mind is supposed to then say, okay, got it.
I got the message. Let's go do this thing. And the mind is how we engage, how we develop relationships and rapport and do all these things. But when it's supported by this emerging wisdom, it's not in it for I'm going to build a relationship with you based on what I can get out of it.
It's I'm going to build a relationship with you because I love living life and you're an amazing person and I'd love to exchange with you.
Let me help and serve you and you can help and serve me or whatever. Let's go do stuff. That's a very different reality than somebody trying to push and make it happen because pushing and making it happen is what exhausts us. So this gives you a constant flow of rejuvenation that you're not exhausted. You're simply calling it like you feel it and what happens is your life unfolds in a beautiful way that is still in the world. Highly functioning, my life has become amazing.
All because I found this, opened it up, allowed this flow and started showing other people how to do the same thing. And how to have that trusted relationship with which I did not have growing up. Even though I was raised in an intelligent environment that had lots of answers and you know what I didn't get out of that was a sense of me. I got a sense of really smart stuff. This is the way it's supposed to be and how you're supposed to be.
And the same thing happens with research, people read the research and say here's supposed to be. So I need to go do that. But if they don't meet that in an authentic way, the research doesn't matter.
It doesn't make a difference in their life.
This has been fascinating. I heard you say that greatness isn't about or you said greatness isn't something we build.
It's something we remember. And in your book, the anatomy of awakening, it's coming out right now in this episode. It'll be out. I want people to get this. And when you get the book, there's a free meditation gift as well that people can get.
“And I believe if you go to drsumorder.com is where you can get this meditation gift or this is what I was told.”
I don't know if that's where they go specifically. Drsumorder.com or drsumorder on social media as well. So if you get the book, you go to drsumorder.com. You'll get a free meditation gift as well that will accompany you in this process of trying to help you. Remember your greatness in the anatomy of awakening.
I've got a couple of final questions for you, Drsum. It's been really inspiring. This is conversations that I love. So thank you for sharing and being a channel of truth and flow.
Speaking about truth, I'd like to put you in a hypothetical scenario for a second.
Imagine you get to live as long as you want to live. But it's the last day on earth for you. And you get to create and experience all the wonders of this world.
“But for whatever reason on the last day you have to take all of your work with you.”
All of your written work, conversations, interviews, content. It goes with you to the next place. So we don't have access to it. Okay. But I'm the last day you get to leave behind three truths. Three things you know to be true or from your experience. Three lessons are three truths.
The map would get to stay with the rest of us.
What would those three truths be for you?
Wow. Okay. That's a big setup. All right. So the number one would be there's nothing broken missing or wrong. All right. And the number two would be trust your inner guidance. You know. And number three, there's no greater power on earth than the love that you're willing to share.
Mmm. I love that. I want to acknowledge you, Dr. Sioux, for being on the journey of empowering people in the lessons you learned to helping them free themselves from pain, stress, anxiety. And the limiting beliefs that hold a lot of people back because I feel like people are trapped or have a tendency to be trapped more and more by the pressures of the world by
this empowering media that captivates their minds and makes them live in fight or flight, versus creation and freedom. And they get trapped by news stories that hold onto these emotional centers in their body that make them angry or resentful or whatever it might be. And they stay stuck. A lot of people have the temptation to stay stuck energetically.
So an analogy for being on a mission to serve people to healing, to freedom, to abundance. And we need more people like you in this world. So an analogy for the work you're doing. I know you have a lot of workshops. You have programs for people if they want to go deeper, but people can check out your book, the anatomy of awakening to get started with their journeys of healing, of reclaiming their energy, coming back to themselves,
and integrating all of them rather than just being in their head. So an analogy for all of that. And I have your welcome and I have one final question. And that is what is your definition of greatness? Living into the authentic self. There's nothing greater. We are made of everything. The universe compresses itself into human form and that is you.
And when we allow that to be true, we realize there's nothing missing. We have it all. We just need to learn to embrace and integrate these energies and not be afraid of them. And when we do, we awaken to the greatest version of humanity. And that would be, we are. It's what we're made for. It's what we're made of.
So greatness is being the true self far beyond what the personality knows. And so we bring it into immersing itself into this energy and the body will show the mind how to do that. And when we breathe right with that, we breathe life into the greatness that we're meant to be bringing in this world. There you go. So, thank you so much for being here. Appreciate it. It's wonderful.
