We know our listeners are as unique as our novels, and lucky for you our bookshelf is varied.

With this, our 92nd book, so there are lots of stories to love you into a deep sleep.

The following is a preview to give you an idea of what to expect from this season. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle was a Scottish writer and physician, best known for creating one of literature's most famous detectives. Sherlock Holmes, born in Edinburgh in 1859, Conan Doyle initially trained and worked as a doctor before finding success as an author. His stories featuring Holmes and his loyal companion, Dr. Watson, became enormously popular and helped shape the modern detective story. Combining ingenious mysteries, with memorable characters, and the atmospheric streets of Victorian London.

Conan Doyle created a world that has continued to captivate readers for generations. We have already read the hound of the basketballs on the show, so if you do want to delve into that, check out season 5 to listen.

The adventures of Sherlock Holmes were first published as a collection in 1892, and have brought together 12 of Holmes and Watson's most memorable cases.

Narrated by Dr. Watson, the stories follow the pair as they encounter an extraordinary assortment of mysteries, unusual clients, and seemingly impossible puzzles. From the remarkable Irene Adler in a scandal in Bohemia, to the strange circumstances of the red-headed league, and the sinister mystery of the speckled band. Each adventure offers a new case for Holmes' legendary powers of observation, certain Victorian London and beyond. The stories are filled with intrigue, eccentric characters, and unexpected twists.
