Yeah, what to say about this month?

You know, this month today was-- I think they wrote the perfect race. They had a plan A and a plan B.

I mean, probably three plans, one of which

we didn't work, because I think we've got to talk a little bit later. I think about Eaton Hatre, but they did not manage to get Eaton Hatre back from that breakaway to sprint for the bonuses.

And they eventually tried to get in the red jersey for what one art. But yeah, well, Art said clearly in his interview that the plan was for him to attack there at that point, in which he did.

And Pogachar went after him, and then that it worked out, and then the plan was to sprint for my to Brennan. Beautiful teamwork, by the way, by Christophe Lopport. That was a huge lead out for him.

But I think Visma today was-- it was impressive today, they wrote the perfect race. And they deservedly have to stage with it. Hey, everybody. Welcome back to the move.

I'm Spencer Martin. I'm here with Johan Bernouill. We're breaking down stage two of Lavuelta Aspania, one by Matthew Brennan. It was a reduced, extremely reduced.

Very hard, sprint finish, slightly uphill, sprint finish. After a 200 and 2 kilometer day that left to Monaco and went through the hills of Provance, Matthew Brennan wins over Palma Kel from Bahrain, Victoria's Denazi, that coming, with Tadad Pogachar

coming in third, picking a four bonus seconds.

Can't wait to pick your brain about why exactly he did that, Johan. With Mads, Petterson, fourth, Hugo Hofstetter, fifth, kind of a mix of versatile sprinters, G.C. riders, and this top 10 with some G.C. riders missing out.

Some riders who wanted the overall, like Ethan Hader, who got into the early breakaway, invested a lot of energy, all day up there, got the intermediate sprint, points, and most importantly, time bonuses,

which had him in the virtual race lead. All he had to do was finish on the same time as the leaders and he was distanced last 31 seconds in the final kilometer, which shows us how hectic and important positioning was there.

Now with the G.C., Tadad Pogachar, leads, well, men art by nine seconds with Matthew.

Brennan is teammate and third, 10 seconds back.

Leo Bessou, 12 seconds back, and fourth, Finn Fisher Black from Red Bull, Borohansko, and fifth at 14 seconds back. But Johan, what was your eight-sleep move of the day and before you answer, let's just say a quick thing

about eight-sleep, Tadad Pogachar, leading this race. Looks like he's gonna try to lead it. Lined a line, he's gonna need a lot of rest, a lot of sleep.

That's why he has his eight-sleep mattress top

or along with them, the entire race, when they go south and it gets hot, not a problem. As you can just cool that bed to whatever temperature allows him to rest the best. And if you wanna get a night-sleep,

use code the move at eightsleep.com/the move. First, $350 off through the end of this vaults, but Johan, what was your move of the day? - Yeah, well, my move of the day has to be Matthew Brennan's sponsor, the way he won that sprint,

confidently, you know, that display of power compared to a guy, let's not forget, you know, when he went, Matthew Brennan was on his wheel, and he just blew him out of his wheel.

That was incredible. It made me think a little bit, I was thinking about a stage I saw from him and I texted it was last year for stage one in the world like Catalonia.

Where he kind of did the same thing, he was, I remember he was chased down, he would tell Grosso,

500 meters to go, he was basically leading out,

Caden Grosso from Tivor, the Grosso steam, and he just, when he caught Tivor, they could also, he was also a drag uphill, and he just went to the line and King Grosso just died in his wheel.

Yeah, I mean, that was impressive, it's impressive display of power, and probably not the last time we have seen a stageman from Matthew Brennan in this world, though. - No. - First, I bought this situation in any ground tour.

First opportunity, straight away, when's the stage?

- Yeah, that's only big talent, so to do that. - Yeah, it was, yeah, what, two day old Grin tour career, and he gets his first stage win. Not too bad, I mean, the guy is 21 years old. He has 20 professional wins.

Not too bad, and this is a down year form. He won 12, he had 12 race wins last year. Only as eight this year, maybe he can get that back up to 12. He had kind of a funny spring where I don't know if we set on the podcast or just privately between each other,

but it's like, you know, kind of a weak spring from Brennan, but then when it looks back through,

He will hunt and curb Brussels Kern,

and then he had that great lead out for a while, then at Perry Rubegg, going to the Armburg Forest, but then, you know, then he wasn't, I would not say at the level we expected for a few months after that, obviously it looks back to his best year.

That turn of power was insane. The gap he had over the others. That was, I almost looked like there was a lag on the TV. He looked like he was sprinting in a different speed than everybody else.

What did you think about Palma Cal? From Bahrain, Victoria is getting second, over Pugajar, Pugajar, I didn't see that coming. - That was, not me neither, me neither, that was a surprise, but obviously, he has to mean,

we've seen him sprint, you know, it's his sprinter, who obviously can go pretty good up, he'll also. I remember him vaguely from a few years ago at the Vuelta being up there in the top five in the mix for the sprints,

but I think he was on Ken Farma then. Yeah, that was, I first, I took me a while to see who that was from Bahrain, Victoria's, but that was a really nice result for him.

He never had a chance to win, of course,

but to beat, I mean, let's not forget, you know, I think it's even more impressive says to the victory of Machu Brennan that, you know, he was sprinting against Mach Spiders and who had the whole team lined up the whole day

for the stage win.

By the way, I think it's clear that what he said

before the race that he's not going for the green jersey is probably true, at least initially because he didn't contest the intermediate sprint for the sprint points. So that meant also that he was all in for the,

for the stage win, a Peterson. And yeah, for Paul Michele to beat Peterson and Paul Gachar, we watch it was third finally. That says a lot about the quality of this rider, it's gonna be great for his confidence

and maybe, you know, Bahrain Victoria's will have some motivation now to make some of these stages where it potentially can be a sprint to make them hard in the final to drop some of the other sprinters.

The problem is will they be able to drop back to Brennan?

- Yeah, I mean, Brennan could. I would be obviously don't know how any of this is gonna play out low for blow, but you just look at the profile of a lot of this well, tell me you think that's pretty good for Matthew Brennan.

And on a flat sprint, I mean, maybe he gets beat by someone, but he looks so fast today. Like, is a flat sprint gonna be any different? - Like, is.

- Yeah, I think so, I think so.

But, yeah, I mean, I think before the world,

you could read in the interviews that, initially I thought, you know, this, Visma is gonna be all in for world for not. Then I saw an interview of Brennan, he transmitted a lot of confidence, personal ambition,

and then when Art also said, they have two cards to play in these sprints stages. So obviously, when Art knows, and knew definitely before this well-ta, how strong Matthew Brennan is right now,

I mean, he doesn't forget he won two stages into the burgers recently, so show that he's in top form. But yeah, I want to say about Visma. Visma today was,

I think they wrote the perfect race. They had a plan A and a plan B. I mean, probably three plans, one of which we didn't work, because I think, you know, we're gonna talk a little bit later,

I think about Eden Hatre, but, you know, they did not manage to get Eden Hatre back from that breakaway to sprint for the bonuses, and eventually try to get in the red jersey for one one Art. But yeah, Valard said clearly in his interview

that the plan was for him to attack there at that point, I which he did, I impugate Char, went after him, and then that did work out, and then the plan was to sprint for Matthew Brennan. A beautiful teamwork by the way,

by Christopher Loport, that was a huge lead out for him.

But, I think Visma today was impressive.

They wrote the perfect race and they deservedly have the stage win. - Well, yeah, we should definitely give them credit because a lot of teams would have had a hard time with us, because Loport was four seconds back in the GC. So there's a world too where you think, well, Loport,

he goes for the stage win. He wins the stage, Jesus, he's in the overall lead. But, or, you know, Wild Vinar, he's Wild Vinar, he should be sprinting for the win. You know, in the leaders jersey at this race,

and you could imagine on a different team, those three guys are sprinting against each other,

and they get like second, fourth, and sixth, right?

We could easily imagine that, but the fact they got everyone on the same page, they had Wild Attack, 2K out, and Loport follows an attack. It won't get to go, leads out, Brennan. And then Brennan wins the stage.

Clearly, they picked the right rider there to have sprinting,

Because it wasn't even close.

I think he would have beaten anyone on that team,

but just super impressive. I'm especially, we should talk about how they controlled the break away and what hitter being up there meant for them, but do you want to take a quick break? And then we'll talk about that.

And the riders who kind of lost out in the final there, but we'll be right back. Everybody, this vault to a Spaniard coverage is brought to you by ultra pouches. If you're someone who needs a coffee every couple hours

just to feel normal, you know the trade-offs, the racing heart, the crash, the wrecked sleep score,

that's why I've been using ultra pouches.

They're completely nicotine and caffeine free, so what's actually in them, you might ask, well, ultra works with neuroscientists, to build around clinically proven neutropics and adaptogens, and the result is smooth,

steady focus and energy that lasts up to two hours with no crash and no withdrawals. You still get the pouch experience you actually like, just without the nicotine.

I always keep them on my desk

when I sit down to work, I pop one in, better focus, better sleep, no jitters. They've got five flavors and the coolment is my go-to. Chris, refreshing exactly what you want, when you need a buckle down and get some

of wealth of work done. So, ultra is the ultimate guilt free pouch, instant focus and mental clarity without nicotine or caffeine. And new customers get 15% off with code the move

at takeulture.com. That's takeultra.com code the move for 15% off. And when they ask you where you heard about them, tell 'em we sent you, it really helps the show. Okay, Yohan, we are back.

I'll talk about the, some GC riders did lose time, some high profile GC riders like Phil Escoll, but the first one I want to touch on is Ethan Hayder, kind of clever move, surprising move. I was surprised when the TV footage came on

and he was in the breakaway, but he gets those time bonuses, he's in the virtual race lead, looks like everything's going perfect. All he's got to do is finish in the top,

let's see the top 42 riders on the day, but he loses the wheel in the final K and loses 31 seconds.

And it's exact, I think you talked about this

on the podcast recently where he's not really, the gap is not 31 seconds, but the gap from Brennan to him is 31 seconds because there was a split in the group. That's the risk of being too far back,

but what did you make of this?

- Yeah, well, first of all, I was in impressive performance

because he was 150K or so in the breakaway, then when he saw that the break was coming, they came, I think when Al Mirall was pulling on one of those clamps, they came to 12 seconds and then he attacked from the breakaway,

did another, another time trial, basically to that intermediate sprint and got there with about 30 seconds. So he got those bonus seconds, was virtually in the lead.

And yeah, I thought, I mean, a guy with the engine and the power of eating hatred, although it's true that he must have been really, really tired of the efforts being so long out in the breakaway, but you know, nobody can tell me

he cannot stay in the top 40, especially if it's a drag. So I've spoke with somebody on his current team, actually two days ago and his name came up and I asked him about eating hatred

and this person said, you know, it's a good rider, but it's a shame he can, he is really, really bad in positioning. He's not a can, right in the right in the bunch, which is strange, you know, it's,

he looks, I don't know if it's, if he's scared or obviously today,

I think it was a combination of, you know,

he's not great in the bunch and then on top of that, obviously he didn't have a lot of strength left. But you know, any rider who has some skills to maneuver and fight for position, even if you're tired, you are able to stay in the top 40,

especially a guy with the power of eating hatred. So I think that's obviously a disappointment because what he did, that effort he did to get to that sprint point, what was impressive, that was really impressive. - Yeah.

- And then to, you know, he did say however, he did say however that they were held up in the final by a crash or an almost crash. And you know, the half of the pattern came kind of to a stand, almost stand still, but that's obviously also consequence

that you're not in good position, right? I mean, I don't know, I don't know. But even more, I mean, listen, this is a guy who's riding for a contract, Spencer, he's strangely enough,

he hasn't renewed it. So the quick tip, it doesn't look like they want to keep him. He's on the market still, doesn't have a sign deal yet for next year. I'm pretty sure he's gonna get a contract, I mean, he's strong,

but there must be something with that guy that doesn't really fit because, I mean, obviously being strong and not being able to ride in the bunch is a problem. I mean, I think it's, speak for itself. If you look at all his last victories,

it's almost all time trials.

- Yes, I mean, we were talking about,

and we were poking around about this, like, I could get this guy not of a contract and one of the answers we got was not great at riding the bunch. - Well, your thing about it though, he used to be a stage racer, Johann.

He is one a world tour stage racer. So he got to be pretty good at positioning, right? - Which one? - Which one? - Tour of Poland.

- And he won a tournament. - Tour of Poland. - Tour of Poland. - Yeah, yeah. - That was like, that was in 2021 and 2022.

- Yeah, and I think, I mean, I don't know,

I seem to remember initially when he came on to the scene that he was actually also, he's pretty fast. He's pretty fast and he was actually up there in some sprints. So I don't know, something must have happened. I don't know what it is, we are nobody to do.

I'm just going off what I see and what I hear. I've been told from people, but it would be a shame that a guy like that doesn't, I mean, he will find a contract, the question is now at the end of the season, of the most of the teams

are have their spots pretty full. And it's a matter of teams that are looking for a bargain, which now, itinerator is on the market and it will be a bargain for any team because it's late in the season.

So, obviously it's, you know, yesterday he got close to winning. Today almost in the red jersey, he's gonna find the team, right? - That's tough, I'm not doubting about that. The question is, which team and under which condition?

So, but he's in good shape mine. He's in great shape. And Spencer, what do you make of this down here? I have to, we have to talk about this. It's hit the day.

- You see, apparently, apparently also, Ethan Hader,

in his first full season as a professional,

bolt out Garvey, second, Andalusia, seventh, two of Norway, first, two of Britain, second, first in a national championship, time trial, third in the road race. That's in his first year as a pro.

So much shit, so apparently, I don't know if this can be true. This seems unbelievable. Apparently, the organization said, "Hey, here's your skin suit." He said, "Well, this is an extra small."

And they said, "That's all we got." How could that be possible? And so it was just small and he had to cut the legs. - Yeah, so he put it on, and then they did it during the race, actually.

- Yeah, he was probably, probably was dying, right? - Yeah. - If he was not feeling good. - Yeah, so his, in his interview, he said that he was offered to actually not wear the jersey because he's,

he's in second in the points classification.

Behind Pugachar, today at least, so he was wearing it on behalf of Pugachar. And the organization apparently said that, if he wanted to use his normal team kit, which honestly, I would have done.

If you're not, I mean, you're not leading it anyway. - I'm surprised that our option was given, because isn't the whole thing that they sell the sponsorship, and they have to have a writer? - Yeah, we're in the top. - So, if this is true,

if this is true, which I have no reason to believe why it would not be true, I mean. Then, a question, you know, ASO, you know, that, how, so I'm trying to think what happened. So normally, when you get the jersey

that you have to wear in the evening after the stage,

okay, yesterday was late, was late, finished, or maybe you didn't get there, then they bring it to the start, and obviously they give you the option, you know, you could also wear, you know, that's another thing I couldn't just wear the jersey, right?

- Just stand, you know, jersey and jersey,

and your team shorts, right, you can always do that.

But obviously he wanted to wear the skin suit, but then I also started thinking, okay, wait a second. - Can ASO only have an XS if the biggest possibility is that in the first few stages, this jersey is gonna be worn by either Walt von Arth or Matt Spaderson,

who are two really strong big guys, you know? So I don't know, I don't know what, I mean, listen, it's strange, there's no reason to not believe what Hader said, but it's a strange situation. It didn't look great though.

- Maybe we'll host a fundraiser for ASO. - Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. - We'll host a few jerseys. - It also shows you Spencer that how much it means for a rider to have a distinctive jersey in a ground tour,

or even if it's only the world time, even if you're not wearing it, being in the lead, but it's still an honor to be in a leader's jersey, either race, right? So it obviously meant a lot for Ethanator,

although I see we'd have worn the team jersey, right?

- Yeah, I mean, if I was Ethanator, my mentality would be,

I'd be pissed off that I don't have a contract

and I'd say, look at all you motherfuckers and you don't have anyone in any jersey, right?

Most riders on most teams never wear a leader's jersey.

And I'm in a leader's jersey at a grand tour, so give me a fucking contract. - Probably is how I'll be thinking. - I mean, he must be pissed off, he doesn't have a deal. - Yeah, it is, I mean, Spencer, it's nothing to be pissed about,

if he's not renewed, he's not renewed. I mean, contracts start and have a finishing date. So if you're not renewed, there's usually a reason. Now, is that gonna change now? And also we need to know what are his requirements

to have a good, you know, what are his demands here?

- Just a little contract, three million euros a year. (laughs) Now, he's some of these requests are pretty high. You'd be surprised. - Yeah, yeah.

But anyways, it was a funny look, it didn't look great, not for him, and not for a soul man, that didn't look great. - So he's British National Time Travel Champion. The British National Road Race Champion

makes, I believe, over two million euros a year.

And so you could imagine, I don't know if I wanna call him out. - Oh, that's right, right, right? - Yeah, so, not he does make two million. There's no life right, right, next. That's not the really, maybe we're in a bubble,

but the level you can get paid to be just like, that's where I like wonder with Caripass, like his contract I heard is 2.5 million euros a year. It's like that's a really good deal. And I'm surprised you're your good friend, Daniel Benson,

and you wrote that piece about all these problems with him changing teams, it's like, if that's really what he's getting paid, he's like one of the best deals in the market. I would imagine, even at 32 years old teams

will be moving mountains to sign up, but you're on, what did you think about field of scholars in time? - 18 seconds, it's not a lot of time, but, no, think about those in 18 seconds in a time trial,

that would be, that's a lot of time to give away on a stage where you just have to be in good position out of his time. - I mean, after two stages, yesterday he lost 46 seconds to pull out your, and today, what 18s,

so he's already over a minute down. That's not great, I'd say it could be a positioning issue, but that's something, it's not allowed to happen. It also shows you that he doesn't show up with the best legs, probably need some time to get into the race.

And then yeah, we already said it before, the question is, how motivated is Felix Gaul still for his welta? We don't know, obviously, he won the tour of Burgos, so he still has to be in good shape.

When we haven't got to anything that's good for him, yeah, too, so kind of hard to make. - Yeah, but you can't lose 18 seconds on a drag, on a one kilometer uphill drag, that's the, if you're a GC container, you can,

which place did he come in? - He came in, where did he come in, pretty far down. He came in, 66th.

So, but the bigger problem is the Pagatras Pagatras, right?

Like, it doesn't almost doesn't matter, how much time you're behind him, but he's 31 seconds behind Caripass and Moss. After two days, you know, like, that's not great. - That's not great, not great, not great.

And those would be two guys that you would not expect

to have an amazing opening time trial,

and, like, Enric Moss on an uphill sprint, he's the one you would think would be bonerball, but he's finishing in the group. - Right behind Caripass? - So, yeah, yeah, not great for, for Gaul.

I mean, what about a mate, like, where, I don't think we mentioned him yesterday. - Charles made up, was the best of the rest of the GC guys, if we can set her him at GC, right? - In the time trial.

- Yeah, he finished a teen seconds behind Pagatras. And then, loses 18 seconds today, like, is it even more speculating where he is right now? - Yeah, we don't know, we don't know, you know,

I mean, obviously we don't know what kind of health issues he has had, then, you know, he crashed in Tour of Poland.

So, we don't really know, but I think I think normally,

I don't think, I'll made a, starts with any high GC ambitions, and we'll just find out through the race, how he feels. I think that probably the best approach for him. You don't do not put any pressure on himself.

We had to serve as of the team. As I said, you know, if he's at the start of this, well, it's because the team knows that his health problems are probably behind him. And so, we'll see, we'll see, yeah, I didn't speak about,

I'll made, I yesterday, as a GC rider,

Because I just think that it's UAE is all in

for Pugachar, but as it should be, you know, and I'm pretty sure that the fall made ice is a good shape

that he's going to be an amazing teammate for him.

- Yes, I was a surprised at his time trial. That was a really good time trial for a made up. And then today, we could indicate that there's so focused on Pugachar that he's not even worried about, you know, spinning energy on his uphill sprint.

So it's like, I got Pugachar, this is also another, another example of a rider who's not great at positioning.

- That's where he's always had trouble.

- Yeah, that's what I understood. - Often out of position at the start of an important climb, you know, so, yeah, where did, which places he finished? - I'll made it, it was in 59th position. - Okay, so just off to just behind the split.

- It's actually not as bad for I'll made it, as you would imagine. - Yeah, but I don't think any other GC things to call out, right? But those guys, no, I don't think so, I don't think so. - Rog, I mean, we should just say we should keep saying

his name, Roglic, he's still lurking. 30th place didn't lose any time. Looks pretty good in that time trial. Keep an eye on Prima's Roglic. I'd be scared if I was anybody not tidied Pugachar.

He's been a little too quiet, you know, on, like,

that's, that's what needed to be afraid of Roglic,

but should we take a quick break and then talk

about tomorrow's stage three? Let's do that. - We're in the mountains already. - Okay, we'll be right. - Yeah. - Everybody this episode is brought to you by Tafosi Optics. We all know August and September of the best months

of the year to get out and ride, the weather is great. It's crisp, it's sunny, but not too hot, but what that sun, you'll wanna keep that out of your eyes. And that's where Tafosi really comes in handy, because their cycling line-up includes photo tech lenses

that adapt as light changes what you can do this time of year. And they have interchangeable lens options for different ride conditions and prescription, ready options for riders who need vision correction, like myself.

So whether you're watching the pros and July, heading out for your own long summer ride or getting ready for the next grant tour to Fosi gives cyclist real performance clear vision, secure fit and strong value.

Just go to Tafosi Optics.com/discount/themove

for your discount today. That's Tafosi Optics.com/discount/themove. - Okay, Yohan, we are back previewing, giving our outcomes preview for tomorrow's stage three, 174 kilometers, already into the mountains,

into the Pyrenees, we leave the coast and go along this, one thing we should call out is we have a coastal section of road that is probably gonna be windy, like 30 kilometer, 30 kilometer per hour acrosswinds.

So right there, it's gonna be nervous from the gun and then we go inland up to Funt Remu. Is that the name of the town? And you were telling me... - Funt Remu, it's a big altitude training base

for French athletics, it's about 2,000 meters high up kind of the French version of Andora. And it's not, these are not like crazy climbs. It is a lot, it's like 3,000 meters of elevation gain, pretty much all in the last 50k of the stage.

The first climb is 19k long at 5% short descent

and there's bonus seconds and K1 points at the top and then there's spent points about right when the climb starts. So that's something to keep it on as well. Short descent and then a 10k climb at 5% up to the finish.

Really steady drags, but that's a lot. That's 30k of climbing to finish the stage. What I imagine is gonna be done at quite a high speed and if there's an nervousness with the crosswinds, there's probably not gonna be a big gap

for the break away. How do you think the stage is gonna play out? - Yeah, it's a difficult one, it's a lot of climbing, as you say, but the climbs are not very hard. It's definitely too hard for sprinters or strong sprinters

like, for example, a matu Brennan or I would say, even Waldvannart, I don't know in which kind of mindset he is, but I don't know if Waldvannart, maybe he could, maybe he could, but it's hard. I mean, it's, it's, it's, the last 40k or uphill.

There's this, you know, a sprinter cannot make it. Which of the fast guys could make it eventually? I don't know, I'm gonna go for Telepogachar, man. He's so strong, he could already ride away from them. I think he can do that.

I don't think it has anybody who can follow him. The question is if he wants it and if his team wants to control the whole stage, if, if it would be without, I mean, if there's predicted crosswinds, then I do, I do think it's difficult for a breakaway to, to make it to the finish.

If it would be without, without crosswinds, then maybe a break could take enough time and then somebody might, might actually make it to the finish,

I'm gonna predict that that I pogachar

already wins tomorrow stage.

Yeah, it could, it could absolutely happen.

I mean, and even the, I, my wild curve would be Palmecale,

the guy who finished second today, I don't really get sprint.

The issue that is gonna happen is Bahrain is gonna say, hey, we could win the stage, right? We got second today. They're gonna work to pull that breakaway back and they could just deliver Pagachar right to the stage win.

You get to imagine that happening. Now, today's sprint, today's sprint, Spencer End, and tomorrow's final of the races is nothing. It has nothing to do with each other. I would be so, I mean, maybe I'm wrong.

Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe I'm underestimating these guys. But I do think it needs to be somebody with decent climbing capacities. And it all depends also on what Pagachar wants to do.

From what I hear in his pre-Valta interview, he's definitely counting on putting the hammer down on stage four, which makes sense, which is a hard stage. So I don't know if tomorrow he wants to, but anyways, you know, it looks to me like,

I don't know, could we see Pagachar being in the leaders jersey from start to finish in this Valta? I'm not excluding that.

That would be, that would be the first time since 1991, I think,

or 1990, Johnny Bonio, in the Giro. That was the last time that I, or anyone did an enigrant tour. In any grant tour leading from start to finish, I don't know if it was 1991, maybe 91.

- Yeah, and if you want, if you remember he tried to do it at the Giro, 2024, he did come one stage short, right, 'cause he didn't win stage one, it does seem like he wants to do it. I mean, if he's sprinting for time bonuses today, it tells us that that's probably a goal.

The only thing I could see happened in tomorrow,

and maybe this is wrong, till noon if I'm wrong. It's a long drag, not that hard. This is somewhat to some group, noodle off the front, and you can't control it, the whole climb, or does that know that you're probably?

- That's a possibility, but there's not that many riders

Spencer hooking, you know, hooking get away and then get, ah, pokachers, we're going to be there with these guys. What about Leo, Bessou, on Bessou? - Bessou, okay, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I mean, maybe,

but, I mean, it's not an, but if we've seen pokachers do solos of 100k plus, so I mean, if tomorrow, he goes with, well, then get it, go, we're going to bring him back. - Yeah, that seems aggressive, I do think,

that some team will probably step forward to control the race, and I could see him winning the stage. So I'll go, Pagachers, well, I guess, yeah, could be solo, could also just be from a sprint, routine sprint, probably too hard for Matt,

from no Matt's better, son, you think? - I don't, ah, you know, I mean, listen, we, we also, what you did on the, on the, what was it, Krotta, Krotta, on the Krotta fair, but it's going to be fast, you know,

for a long time, it's going to be hard for those guys, I think, because I'm going to, I'm going to, I'm going to go, okay, I'm going to go, Pagachers too. I think that's a safe pick. I mean, we get probably a Pagacher for every stage

of this race, except the sprint stages, and mathematically come out on top, because, especially

in this first week, if you want to jersey,

if you want to build up a lead early, these are the stages to do it on, stage three, four, and then stage nine is a big stage, and then maybe he'll go into the fence mode, but we're not there yet, so Pagachers are decent pick.

We'll see how it plays out, anything else you'll on before we take off. - No, that's it. - All right, talk to you tomorrow, we'll see how it goes, and then we got a big, big preview for stage four to do,

as well onto our show, so we will see you soon. - Okay, thanks. - Okay, bye. (upbeat music) - Marketing is hard, but I'll tell you a little secret.
