Welcome home, Tori. Sounds like you came in really excited for our afternoon as a family. Hey, Dad. Woohoo. I'm ready for the water park.
I can't wait. Titchie, what are you wearing?
“I'm wearing my goggles and slippers for the water park.”
I don't want to get water at my nose.
Oh, Titchie, you're more ready than any of us. Dad, is mom ready to go? Mom is ready to go. Tori, why don't you go put your swimsuit on and we'll get the car loaded and ready to go to the water park.
Woohoo. All right, I think we have everything. Water bottles, check water rings, check water park admissions tickets, check water melon in case we get hungry, check check and check. I think we're ready to go.
Are you ready? I'm really, really ready now, Mom. Wonderful. Everyone get in the car. Let's see.
The GPS says it's going to take a few minutes to get there. Everyone have a seat belt on. Click. Click. Click.
Great. And we're off. I love the water park. I can't wait to ride the water slide or go on the lazy river. Or splash in the waterfall, I love that one.
I loved her what part I loved the most. TJ, we can't understand you very well if his goggles own. I said, I wonder what part I loved the most. Well, last year you loved the splash pad section. It was just your size.
Tori last year was your first year to ride on the water slides.
Do you remember? I do remember. At first, I was a little nervous. But when I finally went down the slide, I loved it. You loved it so much.
I think it actually changed you a little bit. Change me? How?
“Well, do you remember what you said to me after you went down that big slide?”
I think he was called the Wild One. You said you really wanted to take swimming lessons throughout the year so that you could swim with more confidence. You loved the Wild One water slide so much. You wanted to become a stronger swimmer so that you could enjoy it more.
That's right. And I did. I took questions over the summer and got a lot better at swimming. You really did, Tori. You know what that reminds me of?
What honey? Well, it reminds me of how the things that we love can change us. What do you mean? TJ, I think you asked what I mean. Well, what I mean is that we are shaped by the things that we love.
Tori, you loved the water park so much that you made choices because of that loved. You chose to work really hard in swimming lessons. When we love something, it changes us. It shapes us. Oh, I see what you're saying.
Kids, do you know what it's called when we are shaped by what we love as Chri...
As Christians? Yes, as Christians.
Well, Christians love Jesus.
So, well, I guess. I don't know how that shapes us.
“Our love for God changes how we live our lives.”
It's called worship. worship. I thought that was seeing on Sundays. Singing is one response to worship, but worship is so much bigger than a single song. It's actually about our hearts of love towards God.
Our love for God changes how we live.
Our worship of God actually shows up in our schedule, like whether or not we take time to pray. And in our relationships, like how we speak to each other. Oh, that's a good one.
“It also shows up and how we use the things God has given us, like our time and money.”
We worship God when we love Him more than anything or anyone else. And we let our love for Him shape our lives. So worship is the shape by our love for God. I mean, worship is being shaped by our love for God. That's right, TJ.
Hey kids, look. We're here. Woohoo! Wild one, water side, here I come. All right, let's set out our towels and get sunscreen put on before we bomb dad.
Tori. Look, it's Mr. Truman. Whoa, it looks like he's putting on a show. Come on kids. Welcome to Wacky Water's Water Park, everyone.
As you swim and slide, try to sing along. This is a new one, all about worship. Hey, whether we're at church or play, worship God in every way, even at the water park, worship happens in our hearts. When I'm walking with my friend, a washing dishes till the end, when I welcome someone new, I worship God then too, worship is how we show God our love, shapes how we live for Him above.
When we read, observe, sing, we're help, read with anything, whether we're at church or play, worship God in every way. Even at the water park, worship happens in our hearts. worship is just a song, so walking with God all day long, at home, school, at land and rest, worshiping is kidding our best. worship is how we show God our love, shapes how we live for Him above. When we read, observe, sing, we're help, friend with anything, whether we're at church or play, worship God in every way.
Even at the water park, worship happens in our hearts. [Music]
