Two T's in a pod, with Teddy Melanchaz and Tamara Judge.

Hi guys, welcome to another episode of Two T's in a pod with myself, Teddy Melanchaz and Tamara Judge. Good morning, Teddy. Good morning. Today, we're going to be talking about summer house season 10, episode 7 recap.

I can't believe we're already on episode 7. It's flying by.

It's flying by, flying by, but you know, it never is going to end well when it starts

out with Spin the bottle. Spin the bottle. I'm like, what are we 12? I really, it's probably the last time I played that game. And for you to like that, even though normally Spin the bottle doesn't require extra alcohol

things on the table, they made sure it's still have love for Bavaria. I mean, it's crazy the amount of coverage that lover boy gets. But according to Kyle, it doesn't sound like it's doing great right now. No, he says it's not. He says it's not.

He says, you know, we see it. It's hard, hard, hard. Yeah. Well, the group placed in the bottle or truth or dare. This one I didn't see coming.

This was an in my Ben and Bailey. Yeah. Full blown make out session.

Bailey obviously is so into Ben, but I don't think that Ben is into Bailey, right?

So was this like, if he kind of knew that, like, what are you doing? Well, I think now that they had a good make out, I think things are going to be changed around a little bit. Do you think? I don't know.

It was a hot, they both said it was a hot make out. Well, it was hot seeing a Ben's butt jump into the pool. Oh my gosh, back in the naked pool again, he loves it. And then we see Jessie and Levi make out. That was the most awkward make out I've ever seen in my entire life.

But who else made out two girls made out? And you know that Jessie is praying to God that bottle lands on Sierra. But it didn't, it landed on Levi and I don't know if it was the height difference. It did up like you, but it was really problematic that make out. That was not good action.

They were like, she was like trying to get like her little teeth and lips up there. But the Kyle and Amanda make out kind of made me happy. And he even said, I haven't had a good kiss like that in a while, which made me kind of sad. And you see later on in the episode where he's like, I'm going to take a shower with you.

She's like, no. Yeah. No. Like she doesn't make out with them.

She doesn't want to shower with them.

She doesn't want to sleep with them.

She's like, no. I'm good. Go DJ. Go DJ. She's really pissed about the DJ.

I think.

You have to ask a question, if you're significant other really didn't have any finance

that's coming in, would you be that pissed by the DJ? No. No. If he is going to make money to support his business that he's been building, then more power to him.

And I know people and I know men that have built businesses from the ground up, you have to kiss your relationship goodbye. If you've got a shelf that for a little while, because they are like non-stop working. If he's doing this to support them and then you know, holding on for dear life with Leverboy, then you can't really blame him, but there's a fun aspect of DJing.

And I feel like he's crossed the line with not coming home right after, staying out, sleeping at fans' houses, like that's where he's got. Yeah.

The problem is he's not just DJing, he's DJing and he's getting f***ed up and he's making

important decisions. Don't get wasted, do your job, collect your check, go home to your wife, and he's not doing that. And that's a problem. Well there's such a big disconnect between them.

I think it's a long time coming. I think that, I mean, obviously, we know now that they're separated, so it's no big surprise. I know, but it does kind of, it's just kind of bummed me out, because I know, how long have they been married?

Well, I think it's been like 10 years or something, something, six or seven years.

It's been a while, right? Yeah. Well, during the game, I've spent the bottle. Did you notice West slowly inching his way over to Sierra and starting to rubber back and touch her arm and touch her leg and he's so, you could tell he's so drunk that he's like,

he has when somebody lean on. Well, it's, I'm not someone he wants her. You can just tell, it's like he is so into her. I mean, Sierra even says she thinks it's very clear that they miss each other. How about when Kyle gets a rouse at Sierra and West and then covers his bone or with a

petal. And then has to walk away. Or do you think he was still aroused from kissing Amanda? Oh, no, it's probably both. But the fact that he can drink that much and get aroused is impressive.

True, true point, but West kept saying, like, you know, I'm not drunk. I'm not this. I'm not that, but like he had his hood up. He was drunk. Yeah.

He was a sloppy drunk. He was melting into the couch, just like hoodie was coming over his face and kind of, it was more like he was stoned, but then like he was touching her and like she would

like move away from it a little bit, but then I think you could see that she also likes

that he. I felt like she liked the attention. Yeah. I really did. It wasn't like she's like, get away.

She didn't even really make any comments afterwards, like it bugged her. She was like, we still have feelings for each other. Yeah. I think those two are still in love with each other. I think so too.

There's something there. But as we see in the mid-season trailer, he picks it up again. Yeah. Of course he does. Way to go.

Way to go, buddy. Way to go, buddy. Then this part is nice and awkward too. Ben goes into Bailey's room because he wants to move on from their argument. I love that this is after they're make out he comes crawls into bed with there.

I think Bailey laid it out there, though.

She says they will never be in a relationship between the two of them because there's

too much passion and tension. Oh God. I think she's a little lonely on that one. I've said from day one that Ben was into Amanda. Yeah.

She didn't stay from day one. I know, but doesn't he bring a girl into the house? I wonder if he's the ex-girlfriend, the one that he was saying he was in love with for a long time and then. Oh, maybe, huh.

Yeah. She looks kind of familiar. Yeah. The ex-morting Kyle tries to shower with Amanda and she's like, "No, buddy. It ain't happening."

He's like, "Well, I'm just going to go in the shower." No. No. She's not having it. She's not having it.

She's just, she's over him. She's ready. Even after the cardee watch. Oh, I saw clips of that. Is that last week?

She gave her that. Well, that was nice for some of you that doesn't have any money. Yeah, that was nice. Yeah, for someone that can't afford to, hey, Carl, anything. Yeah.

Or himself. Yeah. But, um, yeah, she's saying, "No, no," you know, she tells him, "No." And then, um, at that moment, you kind of wonder, like, "Just she even want to put

In a good fight with this guy or she just fully checked out.

I would say she's fully checked out. Yeah. Fully checked out. Like, more than him. I mean, I know she's frustrated with him, but you see the demise from her.

It's like, all season long, like, she walks into her room and she's like, "I don't have anybody."

And he's like, "Hello, your husband's right here," you know, you know, like, she's always

making these comments. You don't really hear him saying things like that. You just see him drunk a lot. Yeah, you just see him doing his own thing a lot. And not coming home when she comes out.

And clearly, like, we see an upcoming conversation with them. He's not going to quit teaching. No. He's on it. He loves it.

It makes him happy, Teddy. It makes him happy, and he's making money, and now he's got an agent to help him find better than his kids. Yes. So when they're back in the city, Kyle tells Amanda that he is signing with a manager.

Um, so DJ brings him the most joy than anything ever in his life, including his wife. [laughter]

I think Kyle's having, either having a midlife crisis or he's having major financial issues.

I think he's having major financial issues. And I think those two have been having a problem for a while. Well, she said, "I didn't marry a DJ." That's not what I want. I married a reality star.

Yeah, right? I married an entrepreneur that was starting his own beverage line. And now he's a DJ and he's out all night long. And then Kyle says he sees DJing as being a long-term thing. Now there's a lot of people that are DJing.

I mean, we have housewives that I wouldn't know the first thing to do.

No. Not at all. But there must be some good money in it. I think it's like going, and, you know, like, when people go on this, like, yacht trips, so whatever, and they make good amounts.

It's like doing an appearance, right? So, okay, you're going to go here. You're going to make, who know? I don't know. You're going to make 20 grand to go in DJ for a couple of hours, and then you go home.

Those add up. I mean, I have no idea how much they're making. I'm just throwing that number out there, but. But that's my guess, because, and then, you know, the clubs or wherever, the tiring them, they're getting the celebrity name brought into it.

Yeah.

And people do their club.

Yeah. I mean, Dorendas doing a mayor of the doing it. If you're doing it, you're going to be doing it.

Oh, yeah, that's my, that's what I've been doing when I've just trying to get myself

out of bed. I've been learning some DJing. Yeah. Teddy on the mic. [laughs]

[upbeat music] In the middle of the night, Saskia awoke in a haze. Her husband, Mike, was on his laptop. He was on his screen, would change Saskia's life forever. I said, I need you to tell me exactly what you're doing, and immediately, the mask

Why hasn't a woman formally participated in a Formula One race weekend in over a decade?

Think about how many skills they have to develop at such a young age. What can we learn from all of the new F1 romance novels suddenly popping up every year? He's still smelled of podium champagne and expensive friction. And how did a 2023 event called Waga Getting change the paddock forever? That day is just seared into my memory.

I'm a culture writer and F1 expert Lily Herman, and these are just a few of the questions I'm tackling on no grip, a Formula One culture podcast that dives into the under explored pockets of the sport. He became the first bachelor to ever have his final rose rejected.

The internet turned on him.

If I could press a button and rewind it all I would.

But what happened to Clayton after the show? Made even bigger headlines. It began as a one night stand and ended in a courtroom with Clayton at the center of a very strange paternity scandal. The media is here, this case has gone viral.

The dating contract agreed to date me, but I'm also suing you. This is unlike anything I've ever seen before. I'm Stephanie Young, this is Love Trapped. This season an epic battle of he said she said, and the search for accountability in a sea of lies.

On the drive to the house Carl tells West and KJ about his date with Bailey, and in it he has a crush on Bailey.

So Carl has a crush on, but I think they're a cute couple.

I think they would be good. I think that they match well, like their energy match as well, their personalities match well. I would love to see him in a relationship. And Lindsay like cock blocks everything and says, "We are not going to have sex with

that." Right. You're not going to have a sex life. Well, just because he wasn't having sex with you, because you guys were clearly weren't getting along, doesn't mean, "What did she mean by that?

What do you think she meant?" Members towards the end of the relationship, she decided that he was just making no effort anymore. Well, that's usually what happens at the end of a relationship. Yeah.

And he knew effort anymore, and so she just decided that he wasn't into sex. But could you imagine, though, Lindsay like encouraging Bailey to, you know, "Oh, yeah, that's great." But just now he's not going to have sex with you. Well, that's her way of giving a little dig.

Yeah. And then didn't Carl say, and his confessional may be, like, "Linsey told me it was the best sex she ever had." Yeah. He's like, "Well, when we were having sex, I just don't even see them together."

Those two, ever.

I'm like, "I've never had that."

How did that ever happen? They're just so polar opposites. It's so weird to watch now. I know. And the way they try to make nice.

Well, I think Lindsay tries to make nice and then a kind of a little bit of an obnoxious

way. Yeah. She kind of tries to make little jokes, little jaggers. Yeah. And he's just like, "And he is generally just a nice guy.

I think so." I mean, not my type of guy, but he's a nice guy. Oh, obviously. We know who your types of eyes are. West admits that after watching Lexi talk about him, he realized how wrong his actions were.

She talked about his relationship with CRR. I think he was so new at it, and he was like, "What is his first season maybe?" You don't, like, there's a learning curve when it comes to doing interviews, talking in the press, even to this day, like, "I don't like it because they ask you questions." And I'm such an honest person.

I just say how I feel and what I know and a lot of times that get you in trouble. Now there's a thing called media training, a lot of people do.

And they never really truly answer the question.

In fact, I watched Meghan Markle's interview a couple of nights ago. And I said, "Yes, Eddie had it on. He goes with Bloomberg, whatever." So anyways, it was on. So I go, "Did you notice she never answers a question ever?"

All questions end in a question.

Yeah. Yeah. Or they repeat it back and, "Oh, that's just a great question."

And then never really answer it.

Yeah. I can't do that. Hmm. No. But there was, like, a funny point when somebody said Lexi's name and you could see Jesse

flipped out, had, like, PTSD about Lexi and then they--

That's, like, the first flashback we've seen of Lexi, right?

I know. And then I remember how talks with that relationship was. I had kind of forgotten about it. Well, I think Jesse is just not the one that wants to settle down. So I don't think he can have, like, a good relationship right now.

I don't know. I feel like he's on it.

If he could still see her from last, I think he would.

Well, Sierra did appreciate it about him saying that. And he wished he didn't take someone else doing it to make him realize what he did wrong. But in his defense, like I said, he's new to this. At the time, she's been on the show for a long time. And he don't know the power of the press.

Yeah. And it's hard just to zip it and not say anything when they're asking you questions that you want to answer. And also, I think when your heart is a little bit broken.

Yeah, but I think sometimes it takes time to realize you're in the wrong, too, in a situation

like this. You know, him apologizing. Even late shows he really wants to make things work with Sierra. Yeah.

But he's another one, I think.

I mean, who knows what he did to screw this up. But I mean, there's nothing like an epiphany a year or two like, right? Well, I think he screwed up big time. He did. But Sierra appreciates it, but wishes that didn't take him so long doing it to make him

realize what he did was wrong, which is, you know, pretty much what they've been going back and forth on since they broke up. You know, but what about how embarrassed he was the next day after he was like touching her with his toes and like, well, he had anxiety. It's like shit.

What did I do? And then somebody starts telling me, he's like, no, I don't want to know that.

It's like the worst thing in the world when you do drink and you act like a fool.

And then people want to tell you how you act. I mean, I don't know about you. I mean, I try not to get that drunk anymore, but you don't want to hear it. So I want to recap it all with anxiety that you're like, I don't want to know. Yeah.

No. You don't know. And it like hangs on for like two days, like you're like, oh, God, wouldn't I do? What did I say? Why did I do that?

Oh, God. And then it just kind of weighs on you. And then you make up the worst case scenario in your head. I. Yep.

In the middle of the night, Sasuke awoke in a haze. Her husband Mike was on his laptop. What was on his screen would change Sasuke's life forever. I said, I need you to tell me exactly what you're doing. And immediately, the mask came off.

This season, an epic battle of he said she said, and the search for accountability in a sea of lies, listen to Love Trapped on the iHeart Radio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm Nancy Glass, host of the burden of guilt season 2 podcast. This is a story about a horrendous lie that destroyed two families.

Late one night, Bobby Gumpride became the victim of a random crime. He pulls the gun, tells me to lie down on the ground. He identified Termine Hudson as the perpetrator. Termine was sentenced to 99 years, and I know this can't be real. I thought it was a mistaken identity.

The best lie is partial truth. For 22 years only two people knew the truth, until a confession changed everything. I was a monster. Listen to burden of guilt season 2 on the iHeart Radio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

Then at the table, things get pretty deep and Sierra explains to the group about the racial blowback she gets from dating white guys publicly.

This was a very interesting and educational scene, honestly.

I didn't know that. I didn't know that she got blowback from dating white guys publicly and then KJ jumped in. He was like, yeah, same with my sisters as well. They deal with that too.

West explains that after the reunion, him and his family were receiving comments that he was a racist. KJ gets emotional about talking about it as well. Because his sisters are gone through the same thing. Yeah.

And then he also talked about added pressures like at home like his parents had conversations with him, the guys and family that most families don't have.

And he said that he is the first black guy in the house.

And she was the first black girl in the house. Right. So they did. I mean, it was a good conversation.

I think a conversation that was needed needed and kind of shut a lot of light on things

that we didn't know and understand. Yeah. And then just I don't know. My gut tells me that those two are going to end up together. Well, they're not together now.

So even if they tried, I think that it didn't work out. And then the midseason trailer drops, we see Ben has a girl named Sabrina. Yeah. We haven't seen much of Dera. Why does Dera get to just come and go as she pleases?

I thought Dera was supposed to come down for the weekend. I know. Well, she spent an hour in Ben's room. We see. So.

Yeah. But that was from before, right? No. It's upcoming. Oh, it's upcoming.

Yeah. West screws up with Sierra again. Then the girls tell Amanda she needs to separate from Kyle. Carl tells Kyle he's throwing his relationship away. The fact that they're all dressed as old ladies during this conversation is like really

emotional conversation. Right. That's always good.

Do you remember with me, Vicky and Shannon dressed up like old ladies?

I think he's house a year as a girl. Yes. It was kind of fun, and then we did it with our Trace Omega show, too. We dressed up.

I mean, I'm always impressed with these girls.

Like they can pull a costume out of anything. Right now. And then the big shocker, I think of the trailer was Amanda admits that Ben wanted to sleep with her in Italy, which then totally justifies all of the past speculation. Kyle blows up about something Carl says, but we assume it's the conversation that Ben

Wanted to sleep with her is what I thought instantly.

Is that why he's throwing a fit?

Well, I think also, weren't they all together on that trip in Italy? It was a wedding, and I think that Amanda and Kyle were both there. That's what I mean. Yeah. I think so.

That's the way that I understood it.

So I think do you think that's why all of a sudden Ben's bringing in Sabrina so that he

has like kind of a reason why? Why? Yeah. Probably. But she came in and she, I mean, it was like straight, make-out central.

Well, we'll say, you know how these things are twisted. Do you think there's going to be anything between Kyle and Bailey? Carl and Bailey? Yeah. Carl and Bailey.

I think so.

I think they could make a cute couple.

Yeah. What do you will say? Day-day. Day-day. It's a little kiss.

Yeah. I mean, I think it's good.

I think it's going to get juicier even as the season continues to open up.

But I have to say, I really do like the newbies. Yeah. I think that they are performing. I think that they're doing a great job. I think the season so far is pretty solid.

Yeah.

But I also feel like shit's about to really hit the fan.

And we don't have page. I don't. I like her. I don't feel like I miss her. Well, I mean, because like the bed is like the next cast member.

Well, she's busy. She is booked in busy. She had a Super Bowl commercial. She had a Oscar commercial. She's in bed with Courtney and Kardashian doing some kind of collab.

Yeah. Yeah. She's doing shit. She's making it happen. Just like us.

Yeah. Driving. Driving. All right. Well, it was a good episode.

Thanks, guys, for tuning in to another episode of Two Teas and a Pot.

And we will see you next week. See you next week. In the middle of the night, Sasuke awoke in a haze. Her husband Mike was on his laptop. But was on his screen would change Sasuke's life forever.

I said, I need you to tell me exactly what you're doing. And immediately, the mask came off. You're supposed to be safe. That's your home. That's your husband.
