People often call influence a soft skill, it's anything but a soft skill. It is the super skill set, it's what controls money, it's what controls all of leadership,
management, recruitment, marketing, selling, fundraising for profit, not for profits, what controls everything. But Athena, what I want you to do is I want you to demonstrate for people, explain to people, what is contrast, what is context, what are metaphors and analogies and then demonstrate them, bring them forward in context by using them and demonstrate them so powerfully for
anybody here, including knots and knot knots, contrast context, metaphors and analogies, Athena, have some fun and please go right now below the hearts and mind these people, put them in awe. You want me to teach and demonstrate at the same time? That's like asking me to explain how to juggle while actually juggling flaming torches.
Let's start with contrast. Contrast is showing what something is not before revealing what it is. If I tell you this podcast is good, you shrug. But if I say this podcast is not your typical interview where someone asks boring questions and gets boring answers.

Now, context is why something matters when it matters and who it matters to. Context is also what lets you hold two truths simultaneously without your brain exploding. You can have empathy for someone's pain and maintain the boundary that their behavior is unacceptable. Now, metaphors and analogies, these are the secret weapons that make abstract concepts
feel like lived experience. A metaphor says this thing is that thing, an analogy says this thing works like that thing. Both create instant understanding by connecting the unknown to the known. Here's a metaphor in action. Zone action isn't a to-do list, it's a scalpel.
You're not trying to do everything, you're identifying the one cut that makes everything else easier or unnecessary. Here's an analogy. Trying to scale your business without the seven levers is like trying to build a house with only a hammer.
Sure, you can pound nails all day long, but without a saw, a level, a drill, and a measuring tape. You're just making noise and calling it construction. Influence is not about working harder, it's not about being smarter, it's not about your connections or your credentials, it's a frequency, and if you're not ready to operate
at that frequency, you're in the wrong room. By the time I got to, it's a frequency.
You were already nodding because I'd eliminated every fault frame first.
“So why are people so bad at this because they've been taught to inform, not install?”
They think communication is about transferring information from their brain to yours, but
That's not communication, that's data dumping.
Real communication is about creating an experience inside someone else that causes them

Most people skip contrast because they're in a hurry. They skip contacts because they assume everyone already knows.
They avoid metaphors because they think being literal is more professional, and they never
use the not-flash-not-not framework because they don't even know it exists. But here's the truth, Sean, and everyone listening, when you master contrast, context, metaphors, analogies, and the not-flash-not-not framework, you stop explaining and start causing. You stop hoping people get it and start making it impossible for them not to get it, that's what we just did here.

and that was in about six rounds, but it took us 30 minutes, solid 30, 35 minutes. Compare that to what has now been created in the App Guide forage. How many repetitions can be created? How many have we experienced? What did we demonstrate and

That's magic, but here's the contrast, Sean. Here's where it gets archaic, 35 minutes, six rounds, two beings, one human facilitator required. That's the old way of building mastery, even with Act 1.
