for more, knowing something is missing. Then this podcast is for you, so here's your host, Joe Medigan. Hello and welcome to we. Have you ever looked around at the world and wondered why everything feels so overwhelming? Every day we're surrounded by conflict, uncertainty, constant change, and a pace of life that
never seems to slow down.
Biology keeps us connected yet many of us have never felt more disconnected. We have more information that any generation in history yet we're searching harder than ever for peace, purpose, and meaning.
“Maybe that's why so many people quietly are saying something just doesn't feel right anymore.”
For a long time, I personally believed the world around me was my problem. If people would just be kinder, I thought, if life would become more stable, if I could finally control everything and all things that happened around me, then maybe I thought, maybe just maybe I'd find some peace, so it feels some peace. But I eventually discovered something that truly changed my life.
The world wasn't creating all of my fear. It was revealing it. The overwhelm I felt wasn't simply coming from the outside.
“It was exposing the places inside me where fear had quietly become a way of living.”
Fear had shaped the way I thought. The way I loved, the way I trusted, and even the way I saw myself. The more disconnected I became from my true self, the more overwhelming the world appeared. My spiritual awakening didn't happen because I escaped the world.
It happened because I finally became able to see the world differently.
I discovered that my higher power wasn't asking me to fear the world. My higher power was inviting me to become someone who the world could no longer control. As fear slowly gave way to faith, as confusion gave way to clarity, as survival gave way to purpose.
“I began discovering something I had been searching my entire life.”
And that was inner abundance. Not an abundance measured by some amount of money are some type of success. But an abundance of peace, an abundance of love, an abundance of courage, an abundance that no circumstance could take away. Today we're going to explore why the feelings of the world sometimes can be so overwhelming
and why the world can seem so overwhelming, why so many people feel disconnected, and how a spiritual awakening can help us overcome fear, discover inner abundance, live a life with purpose, and create a world that feels loving and stable. My name is Joe Mitigah, and from around the world, welcome to we. Well, I want to welcome everybody here today.
It has been quite an amazing past couple of weeks.
I have to say, if you've been following along with my podcast, you've heard some challenges, some people that I've been supporting for years or going through, you know, the last podcast I did here that was just basically released today. I'm recording the Thursday episode today, Tuesday night, so the other episode was just released. I shared some really passionate beliefs in childhood things,
and the whole concept of codependence and why it's such a challenging environment and why people are waking up to a reality that, you know, it's not their job to fix somebody else, it's their job to heal and become whole.
The week before I really talked a lot about addiction and codependence in a p...
but addiction from a position of alcoholism and how it's so devastating and how it's so challenging.
“And, you know, I challenged people all the time when it was the last time you went 90 days without alcohol.”
And if you haven't asked yourself that question, please do. And just for a little bit of reference, I want to welcome all the new people here. Well, the we podcast now is, I don't know, 89 months old, and this is our 40s second or third episode. And I'm just really excited. I'm excited at the exposure.
I'm excited of the replies. I keep getting, you know, of people really enjoying the we podcast and what we're creating here. And I want to welcome people again from around the globe, people in Norway, people in Canada, people in Nigeria, people in Australia, the list goes on and on. And I am just so blessed and I'm just really excited that all of you are here.
But it is a reflection of humanity truly waking up and it doesn't matter where you live. It doesn't matter what religion you live in. It doesn't matter the color of your skin, the continent you live in. It doesn't matter if you're a man or a woman.
We are all humanity and humanity is waking up in a way that it never has.
And we're going to talk about that a little bit more here today. I'm going to tell a little bit more about my story because we always have new people coming in so much. And for a lot of new people, this is your first episode, so welcome. For people that have been around for a while, but you know that I have said over and over, I'm going to be as intimate and honest and as open and as passionate as I possibly can.
I've had numerous episodes where grief was the primary emotion and sadness from loss and then I shared it. Well, this past week, I was on the other side of that spectrum. I've shared it from some anger. I've shared it from some compassion. And I want everybody to know that emotions are a very healthy thing.
We are created as an emotional being and the suppression of emotion is what causes 98% of your angst. Hear me, suppression, dismissal, acting as if. Pushing down, making it wrong. All of the different deterring belief systems about emotions are all yesterday's newspaper folks.
They are. And here at the wee podcast, I am here to literally teach and share my experience strength and hope on how as I learned how to embrace the depths of myself and give a voice to the depths of me. I had to also learn how to feel emotions. The mad ones, the glad ones, the sad ones and the scared ones. And that's a lot about what the wee podcast is.
“And that's why, quite honestly, we are the top ranked”
how to emotionally healing process podcast out there and the emotional healing process. It is not an easy one. It's not for the faint of heart. It's not for anybody that's not truly on a spiritual path. And I have to tell you, prior to September 22nd, 2022.
And I always bring back that date because I had such a powerful awakening that day.
From a woman I have never met, I really questioned whether I was the only one on the planet that was going through the same type of process. Well, I am now super excited to know that there are tens of thousands of us and hundreds of thousands of us and probably millions of us around the world because we're all coming to the wee podcast. And if you weren't on a spiritual path, similar to mine, you wouldn't make it.
You wouldn't be here. You click off. You go somewhere else. And the wee podcast is for all of you. It is. I'm creating a library of emotionally connected experiences based on different pain points. You can look at the first part of the title. So titles are organized in such a way. So I want people to be able to go back and you're going to be growing every day. You're going to be shifting every day. You're going to be coming
“more aware every day. And you might wake up next week and say, "Well, I don't remember what”
he said about forgiveness. We'll go back to the podcast that talk about forgiveness or surrender. What is that surrender thing?" He said, "No, I don't remember what he said." It's something not an action step. I'm not sure what it is. Well, that's it. Go back to the podcast that talks about surrender. And I want everybody to understand. It's by design. You know, we're creating
a library. So it's ongoing. You'll always be able to come back wherever you are tomorrow because
you're changing today. That's for sure. Because if you weren't, you wouldn't be here. And I want to welcome everybody. You know, my story dates back. I've been sober now over 30 years. My story dates
Back to the mid-80s and lost in my family.
meaning I drink beer every day. And kind of the normal of the day. And I had an awakening in my early 30s where a buddy walks in. And for the first time I ever thought, like, when was the last time I'd
gone 90 days. And that's why I always bring it up. Anybody on the podcast right now, when was
the last time you went 90 days without drinking, drugin, or something crazy? And a lot of you can say, well, Joe, I kind of gave that up 20 years ago. But for those of you who can't, it's time to look in the mirror, just like I did. Why? Because that moment in time when I challenged myself with the thought I'd never had, like, when was the last time I went? Prior to that moment, February the 13th, 1994, I'd never thought about it ever. Well, when I realized it had been my
entire adult life, I made a change. And awareness is the key folks. You can't make change until you
“have an awareness that you need to make change. And that's why a self-aware podcast like this,”
this podcast is designed because sometimes push buttons to sometimes inspire change for sometimes
to bring awakening for sometimes to bring awareness. It's an ongoing process here. And each one of the concepts we talk about from emotional healing to spiritual awakening, to conscious transformations, to surrenders to forgiveness, all of those concepts are spiritual in nature, but they're emotion in foundation. Spiritual in nature, that's all part of your spiritual awakening. But unlike what most influencers are most awareness podcasts out there talk about, they dismiss, I don't want to
say dismiss. They don't focus on the emotional side of the awakening you're in the center of.
“And that's what I do. I focus on the emotional side. And why is that? Because 100% of the awakening”
I've gone through, the spiritual growth, the spiritual awareness, the spiritual awakening. And those are all three different things. Growth awareness awakening in the spiritual world, all of that, 100% of that happened through me, not because I was pursuing it. And it happened as a consequence of healing from the emotional side of self. And that's why we are an emotional growth podcast, truly, because that's my forte is emotional growth. That's my experience in strength.
And my hope is on the other side, all of the cool stuff. And today we're going to talk about it. We're going to talk about that further. We're going to talk about it a lot. The spiritual growth. And what it really means to grow. And today we're going to kind of make that bring it into clarity a little bit. And right now, I'm in the center of a spiritual growth experience. I'm in the middle of doing this podcast and the blights in my house go off. Literally.
I'm like, now what do I do? Well, have faith, breathe, see what's going on, and keep talking. So I just had literally had an experience right now. And that's life quite honestly folks. You
never know. You don't know what's happening sometimes. You're not always going to be aware of
what's happening all the time. And that's where a podcast like this is so important because I'm going to bring hope. I want to share hope. I want to share hope as a consequence of healing. But I want to share hope as a consequence of solutions. Because when we're in solution, when we're literally living from a place of solution, everything is different.
“Literally, everything is different. And that's what we're all about here at the Wepodcast.”
Disconnect and the concept of disconnection. It's happening more and more and more because we as a humanity are changing. We're literally changing. We're becoming something else. And I think it's important to kind of share from the new people, the concept. Where did we come from? Where did the concept of we come from me? And it was after my spiritual experience in September of 19th, or of 2022, where I'm writing a book called Unique
Will Yoke. And I threw that that's kind of a biblical phrase. And I didn't really, you know, I'm my own perspective of it. But I asked the question, I wonder what the last thing Jesus said.
Only say that, not because I'm a Jesus believer.
not. I do it different than most religions do. I have a sense of God inside. And ritual isn't my pursuit. It's not. I'm not making it right or wrong. I'm just telling you my experience. I'm more from a spiritual, I consider myself spiritual versus religious. But I thought to myself, all time is created around one man. And that's Jesus. It's 2026 in July here because of one guy. It just kind of made sense to me that we should try to figure out what this one guy had to say.
And when the very last thing he said was, I have to leave so that the father, so my father
can put the spirit that guided me in all of you. And when I heard that for the first time, spirit in
all of us, I start getting all this clarity, Christ consciousness and the kingdom and higher power
“and spiritual growth, that all of this just starts flooding into me. And that's why I realized we are”
all a we human self, higher self, inner self. Now I was very consciously aware of the inner self, that's the inner child work, which I'm gonna talk a little bit about here today. And I was aware of a higher power, but more of a higher power as if something separate from me, not me as the higher power, not me as the consciousness of a higher sense of self within me. But when I heard that phrase,
I have to leave so the father can put the spirit in you, which is a biblical phrase,
I'm paraphrasing of course. It just made sense. It made a lot of sense. And that's the we, human self, higher self, inner self, we. And then from a place of community, community and connection, as like conscious people come together, as like minded people come together, we create a sense
“of a we, as a community. And that's why the we podcast is literally exploding,”
the ranked 143rd in the globe of 4 million podcasts. Why? Because all of you are coming, your divinity is bringing you here and you're connecting with whatever it is, my divinity is saying. And that's why as I'm creating the voices of we, there's going to be more and more people sharing
from their divinity here. So there's never a confusion, as if it's the man. Trust me, it's not the man,
it's the message. And interestingly enough, from that position, that's where I share. And I will say, I am very, I am very practiced at it. I am. I've been doing this a long fricking time, 1990. So that's a long time. My first therapy session, February 16th, 1990. That predates most of you listening here. Now there's a bunch of you out there that are my era and a little bit younger, maybe a little bit older, but bottom line been doing it a long time.
I happen. And so the reason I'm so passionate about it is because it's my way of giving back, honestly, and I just feel good when I get back. I live in my overflow and the sharing of my
“overflow feels really good. That's why I do it. I do. If people say, "Joy, make any money?"”
No, I'm not even going to tell you the $10,000 it's taken me to do all of this. That's a different topic. No, I don't do it for the money. I don't need the money, quite honestly. I am blessed. I've worked hard and blessed. But I do it for the overflow because it feels good. And truly why I'm doing it, is because over time, we're going to have a podcast that has tens of millions of downloads on monthly basis. That means tens of millions of people are listening. And over time, I'm going to have
a vehicle to where other people that have magnificent messages that don't necessarily have the personality. I do to go create a global podcast. But I can bring them on here. So all of you can benefit from their wisdom. That's my true goal here. It's kind of like I'm the bulldozer here in the beginning. I'm building the path. But then I've got the community of we voices that are filling in with me. So we're creating a "we" not a "me". And that's my passion. It really, really
is. And the expansion that's going on in my world and getting the message out there, it's why we're part of the generation of change. Technology allows us for the click of a button to reach millions of people. I'm doing the exact same thing. You know, this is podcast world, which is online and internet and everything. I'm doing the same thing in the cable world. If you've got cable TV, look up Mark TV, the Mark TV. Well, I've got a cable channel now. I'm going to have a program
on that cable channel. He reaches that programming, reaches hundreds of millions of people. Why?
Because technology and what's my ultimate goal and desire is to get my book a...
visit JoeMidigan.com, filling the void. It's my book. Why? Because it kind of, it was channeled through me years ago. And from that position, it was given to me. I want to give it to everybody else. The goal is 100 million downloads. And from that whole concept, we're creating a community. We're creating a global community of the week. And the very first thing I want to talk about is why the world feels so disconnected. Why do you experience the concept of disconnect?
And society is going to tell you it's because, well, the world's crazy and the politics are not sent. You know, all that president of ours is this. And the war is that. And I don't have enough money. And no. Nada, that isn't where disconnect comes from. When I realized, when I literally realized and became aware that disconnect was because me, inside of me, was not in communion with a part of me.
“That's what caused disconnect. Not my external chaos by internal separation. When I became aware”
of that, did it automatically connect? No. But at least gave me an understanding of where the solution was. The reason we are so overwhelmed because of our disconnect is because we think the
solution to the disconnect is outside ourselves. We think the solution is a better job. More money,
a different life, a different house, a different location. So we're on that hamster wheel, a constantly changing and constantly shifting and constantly searching. The problem is you're searching in the wrong place. It's kind of like searching for, you know, if you're going fishing and you don't have a real in the water. But you're fishing. You're not fishing. You can sit and about all day long. You're never going to catch a fish if you don't have the line in the
right place in the in the water. Well, for most people, they believe the answers to their okness are outside themselves. And they're not. It's not. And to be quite honest with you, society constantly re- like reaffirms that same delusion. I can't even begin to tell you the tens of thousands of different podcasts out there that are entrepreneurial based and go make a million dollars and you're going to be better. No, you're not. You're going to be feel just as disconnected,
just as vacant, just as lonely, just as whatever with a million dollars in the bank. Money does not create abundance, folks. It doesn't. Money is money. Now, you have something of value and you
“put it out there in the world and you're talented. You and go make all the money you want. I think”
it's fantastic. But don't get it confused with abundance. It's not abundance. Abundance comes from your inner communion, from the connection you have inside. How do I know that for a fact? Remember, this guy all time was around? I would say he rates at the top of one of the most abundant loving beings that ever lived on the planet, right? And I don't care your religion. Died, naked, nailed to a board. Didn't own an eyeota of an eyeota of anything, naked to a board,
cross. Most abundant, you may never. How do those two things? He quate. Well, they quate because
abundance is based on communion. Now, this guy, unlike us, where we have the ego parts, I believe there were certain humans that have walked this planet. They were pure divinity. I believe Jesus was pure divinity. I'm sure there were other people pure divinity. No ego, pure divinity. I believe it. I really do. So the awakening that happened for Joe was that my answers aren't out there. They're in here. My disconnect isn't because of what I see out there. My disconnect is because my
consciousness was always focused outside of me. When your consciousness is focused outside, your disconnect is from the inside. So when I realized that, when I shifted that, when I started to understand that, I needed to come inside. That's where my answers were. And today,
I'm going to give you some techniques of how to do it. I always like to share kind of where
the world sees because there are plenty of you right now that unlike, there's kind of three
“classifications of human society out there. You've got that world of people that their life is about”
battling addiction. My friends and you know, it's a couple of years sober and you acted out,
Thank God.
for a long time is going to be based around his sobriety. When he's sober, that's going to be better.
“If he doesn't continue to stay in the meetings, their life is going to continue to suck.”
Period. Now is that most? No. Is that a solid percentile of people? Yeah, it is. And that's what these past two works were about. I was talking about that group. And then you've got the group of people that are just hardworking, work every day, save every dollar, meaning they're saving for retirement. They're not battling addiction. And they're just wanting more and they literally believe the more is more money. And it's not. The more is more connection. And then you've got an
entire group of people, which in my opinion are the most law, not the most lost in a place of
lack of consciousness. But the most confusing group, truly, is the 50-some-year-olds that have more money than month, have launched their kids. They have family that love them. They have plenty
“of cars and they're lost. Society would tell that group your nuts. You have everything you should”
be happy. But you're not. Why? Because nice cars don't create happiness. Communion creates happiness. Connection creates happiness. Communion, you with the power greater than you. That's communion. Connection, you and the inner part of you. That's connection. Communion, spiritually vent. Connection, emotionally vent. They're both on the feminine side of self. And for so many people, you didn't even know that you didn't even know that those things were disconnected because
your entire adult life you were pursuing activities which caused gratitude with success. And gratitude kind of, there was enough gratitude that there wasn't emptiness. The gratitude of a accomplishment kind of filled that void. But you reach a place. And I personally believe a lot of people in this podcast are in that spot right now. And the confusion is, I don't feel like going to
build another business. Do I got $20 million in that? I don't feel, but I don't know what to do.
I'm going to talk about that. What to do? That group towards the end of this podcast. And again, the reinvention of life, human transformation of life. The we podcast is an emotional growth, human transformation podcast. And the human transformation part of it is how do you transform your life? How do you reinvent your today? So your tomorrow is fulfilling because your entire life before that for a lot of you, the pursuit of income, pursuit of relationship,
pursuit of raising kids, pursuit of having a business, pursuit of having a nice house. You've
“already done it. You're done with that. You've accomplished that. And now, what? I'll never forget,”
for me, I truly believed until four years ago. And this is an honest to God's story. I literally believed prior to four years ago that gratitude was the end spot. Get enough stuff in your world based on doing wonderful things in your grateful. That was the end. Like, okay, I'm going to live a life, I gratitude. No, it's not the case. Gratitude isn't the end spot, folks. It's the launch point. Launch point into then reinventing yourself to create a world of grace. Gratitude, go out,
put out into the world. Wonderful stuff. Receive back. You're in the receiving your grateful. Grace put out in the world and give and you're feeling a play, an experience of wonderment in the giving, not the receiving. It's the sharing of your overflow, not the receiving back. And that was confusing. I didn't even know that existed quite honestly. And everything I'm doing now is from that place of grace. I'm going to share more about that because I think it's real important.
How do we, and why do we need to heal emotionally? Because that empty feeling you have in your belly, that sense of loneliness you have in your belly, that sense of feeling alone, even though there's plenty of people, that sense of not feeling good enough, that sense of people pleasing, the need to people, please. All of the emotional void, the angst, if you will, in your world, regardless of your circumstance, that is all
100% created by the lack of emotional support of your childhood. And those are facts. How do I know its facts? Because as a little child,
That's where emotional intelligence starts.
when we were children, the concept of emotionally supporting a child, it did not exist.
Not a new thought movement started in the 80s. A lot of you here are like me, I was born in the 60s. So, and prior to new thought movement, there wasn't new thought anything. There wasn't thought anything. There wasn't conscious awareness of anything. You didn't hear people in the 60s and 70s say, "I'm pursuing them, I'm a passion." You didn't even exist. It didn't. Now, living life for purpose, pursuing passion, higher power, get all of its mainstream consciousness.
It's mainstream thought process. 60s and 70s, it wasn't. It wasn't. And the 80s and 90s,
it wasn't about pursuing passion, it was about positive affirmations, control your mind,
make sure you're thinking the right things. Well, it worked for a while. It doesn't work any more. How do I know? Because if it worked, you wouldn't be on this podcast. That's for sure. If it worked, like so many people in that world say it works because of the science and the brain and the brain waves and all of that, am I criticizing? No, I believe they believe it. Do I think
“it? I'm a stop. I believe they believe it. But if you have to keep going back,”
why didn't it work the first time? Well, because you didn't do it, right? You have to come back to the second more advanced technology of changing your brain. Well, folks, the problem with all of the only thoughts you're trying to change in your brain are the empty ones, the hateful ones, the hurtful ones, the ugly ones and the ones you don't like. Those are the ones you're trying to change.
Nobody goes to a seminar to try to change the voice that says, I'm going to make a million
dollars. No one goes to a seminar to try to change that voice. Nobody goes to a seminar to try to change the voice that says, I love everybody and I'm going to love everybody. Nobody goes to a workshop to change those voices. You haven't noticed that? You don't go to a workshop to change the favorable voices. You go to the workshops in the delusion and the belief in the hope that this is the
“workshop going to help me change in my mind so I don't feel like crap. Did you hear what I just said?”
Change my mind so I don't feel one of my most popular, one of my most popular episodes after it's one of my initial episodes and I said mental answers for emotional questions. Positive affirmations are mental answers to emotional questions like this. I feel lonely, change your mind. I feel sad, change your mind. I feel stuck, change your mind. I felt as if it was work. Mind is in your head. Emotions I'm talking about are in your heart and
I paraphrase a lot because I do. I believe that there are people in that world and the motivational speakers out there and the inspirational speakers and the influencers and I believe the heart is in the right place. I believe their intention is favorable. Folks, it just doesn't freaking work. It doesn't. Why? Because you can't change your mind. You can't change the voices in your head.
“If the source isn't in your head, the source isn't in your heart. How do you do it?”
That's where the inner child work comes in. That's where the inner self comes in. And why do we need to? Why do we want to? Well, because that sense is lonely. That sense of you doing something wrong. That sense of needing to people, please. That sense of lost. All of that can be healed. healed, finished, over with. It can be healed. And I'm telling you, life on the other side of all that stuff being healed is much better. How do I know? Because that's where I live now.
I do. I don't feel those feelings. I don't feel lost. I don't feel lonely. I don't need people around me. I don't. I am okay with it without people around me. I am. I feel a sense of abundance. I feel a sense of grace. I feel why? Because I took the time to heal. Now is that how I used to be? No. No. If in, if you listen to my last podcast, the podcast from the day, I was literally raised by a dinosaur. I totally had forgotten that story until 15 minutes before I
did this did that podcast. My dad told me about, you know, what he did to some random kid who backhanded one of his friend's daughters, the brutality of that era. I don't condone violence at all. Zero. I was making that point because I want society as a whole to come together
Strengthen and stop the anger being taken out, especially on women.
for me of that. And I was raised by somebody who did made sure that women in his world were abused in any way by a violent threat. I'm not talking about violence or threat. I'm talking about standing up as a community strong because there's no tolerance for it. And men stop your nonsense. You're sitting there making your wife wrong. You're sitting there taking your
“anger out on your wife. Get a bat beat the bat. That's what I have everybody to say. And I was”
talking so passionately about it because it's a passionate topic for me. It is. It has to stop. And I know there's a lot of it goes on in the world. And I believe again, we are the generation change. Men teach your sons to cherish women. Cherish. Why? Because no women, no humanity. Women are how babies are born. No women, no humanity. That's pretty special. And big guy, you think you had a tough life? You try doing that. Try it. Having a baby where you can't. So, no taking your
crap out on your female partner. For any reason, zero reasons. And that's what I'm passionate about it. I am. Why? Because people need to stand up to it. And people need to as a community
stand up to bullies. Why? Because bullies never take their anger out on another bully. Why?
Because they're cowards. Why? Because the anger they're acting out quite honestly is a wounded little kid inside. The anger they're acting out is fear. So, they don't take the anger out on somebody bigger and bad. They take it out where they can be in control. And that whole sense. When I see somebody angry and they're taking it out on somebody, can I see them as a wounded little kid? Yes, I can. And if they take their anger and put it in a healthy way, I empathize with
the hurt little kid. Because that's all it is. It's a hurt inside. When they take it out on somebody else, that's where society has to step up and has to stand up. Truly. And I believe that with
“whole heart, I believe that whole heartedly. Well, the concept of healing the depths of self, right?”
What does it mean? It means that first off, you have to understand spiritually. You are a
multi-dimensional being. Again, the awakening process for me, when I realized that I'm not just the ego, me therapy, 1990. I was introduced to the concept of the inner child. My therapist at the time Marion Sejo, there's an emotional part of you. Your mental, spiritual, physical and emotional being. The emotional part of you can be represented as a child so that when you're connecting to it in your mind's eye and in your presence, when you're interacting with that part of you, a dimension
of you. If you visualize it as a child that's easier to be nice to, as she was right, it was. So the technique I did in the beginning. And I write about this in my book, I hope you get my book
filling the void. I walk people through it, step by step by step. And the very first thing I did,
“when I realized that, because I remember thinking, what the hell is she talking about? A child didn't”
mean me. Again, yep, the visualized this. I am like, upper 20, drinking and drug and every day, working out all the time. And this therapist, lady, thinks I have a child in me. I'm not sure who's more cook who her or me. That was literally what they're going in my brain. But I remember thinking, she's a nice lady and I'm just going to go with it. And sure as heck though, the very first time we did it, she said, Jo, just relax. And she did this in therapy and hypnosis. She said,
just relax and envision yourself and ask your inner child, just ask a vision to come to you and sure enough 11 year old, 12 year old little boy dressed in a baseball uniform. I had long, curly hair. So the hair stuck out the sides. I was in a Minnesota twins baseball uniform. And I was like, I can't believe this is happening. Like literally, I could see the little boy in me. So folks, I'm asking you now. Please take a second. Take a breath. Turn the podcast off for a
minute and just sit and breathe and ask your inner child to come to you. Ask your inner essence of you to come to you. And then whatever age you see, whatever age you feel or see, ride it down. And it doesn't matter. There's no right or wrong here. But that's the part of
You.
as a human being at 12, a 12 year old in my world was not being nurtured by my parents,
emotionally at all, zero. My mother was around. My dad was never around. He wasn't. So there was no
emotional nurturing. There wasn't. And the consequence of not being a motion, getting our emotions met when we were young means we have voids in our belly, hurts in our belly, which cause sadness, which cause loneliness, which cause aloneness, which cause fear. Every uncomfortable, personal experience you have today in your today, all of them are sourced from the era when you were a child. Why? Because the child liked part of you, never got the emotions met.
“Literally. And that's what we can heal. How? By learning how that the part's there,”
awaken to it and learning how to communicate with that part and letting that part have a voice. And that's where the dual hand journaling comes in. What I would do is I would write out questions. How are you doing today? Little Joe, how are you doing today with my right hand? That would switch the pencil and I would let that part speak non-dominant hand.
I would give a voice to that part. And it's a very, very powerful thing.
You know, kids, you know how kids spell love. It's T-I-M-E, not L-O-V-E. Love is not to a child. Love is not an action. It's a presence. Time. Well, you've got inner parts of you that weren't given any time when they were literally 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, whatever. That still is in you now that you're not giving any conscious aware time to. And why aren't we? Because society says I'm lonely so let's fix it from the outside.
“Society says you should just be able to go do it. Go do the it.”
Outside. So every time you're aware and this is outside of you pursuing solution to your internal
feeling, you're abandoning the same child in you that was abandoned by your parents 40 years ago, 50 years ago. Literally, that's what we're changing. That's how we heal. Literally, heal so the experience goes away. Gone. The healing process of the depths of the child is a real live functioning action step that done long enough. The sensation of a loneliness disappears. The feeling and the grief associated with loneliness goes away. It's on the other side of the
grief. Now again, we live in a world that says you just you can control your reactions to things. And just I'm like, sir, if people could control their reactions, they would have already and the truth of the matter is, your world is really presented to you. True relationships are presented to you. Your partnerships, your close relationships with friends, your close relationships at work, those relationships are spiritually put into your world to help you get to know you
“more clearly. I'll never forget. My youngest son is my oldest son's about a year and a half”
old. I'm down in Savannah. And my past wife's style of a baby crying is you let him cry themselves to sleep. I thought to myself, there is no way in creation. My 18 year 18 month old baby in a brand new house on a bed that was a board with no one around is going to sit in that room all by himself and cry himself to sleep. That was her belief. Now I was at her brother's house. He had the same belief. I was at the brother's house with the wife. She had the same belief. Guess
what? I did not care. Why? I was looking up for my 18 month old. But you can only imagine the battle. Well, you can't imagine the battle. There was a battle. As crazy as it sounded, all I did. I was sitting in there in the bed. So my 18 month old baby, my son Joseph, could see that he wasn't there all by himself. The dad was there. But that pushed every button his mother has. She scramed, she hollered, you don't know I'm the mom. I'm like, listen, I eventually
I cussed because they thought I was going to stop.
story to come back later. And what I realized later is my arguing with them was I was trying to get
“them to see my way. That was my button. I was pointing at them that they were wrong and I was right.”
No, they had a style. I had a style. Well, it took me a while to get that. But eventually I saw it. When you have one finger pointing out, three fingers are pointing back. You're judging somebody else for wrong. It's something in you going on. I called my pastor at the time. He says, Joe, I told him the whole story. He says, Joe, you have a blind spot. I'm like, what are you talking about a blind spot? They're wrong. They're this. They're this. They're that. He says, Joe,
you have a blind spot. Take a breath, pray a little bit, ask to see the blind spot. And sure enough,
he did, he was right. What was my blind spot? I was trying to change them. Why do I share that story? Because in the circumstance was I going to do anything different? No, nobody was going to nobody was going to force me to have my 18-month-old crime himself to sleep in a terrified environment. None. I had done 30 years that there are 25 years of therapy at that point. I'm not creating a therapeutic moment for my 18-month-old wasn't doing it. That wasn't the issue. That was Joe's
standing strong. The fighting was I was trying to change their mind. Trying to change their mind to say,
“I'm right in your wrong. That's what partnership is, folks. Partnership is about you,”
your buttons being pushed, and then you discovering what your angst is. The challenge is the reason
there's argument. There's not because of the angst, but because of the blaming of the angst. The belief is I'm only an angst because they're wrong. No, you're an angst because you have pain inside. The awareness process of literally connecting to all angst, all emotion, all bigness in you that's triggered by something outside of you. It's a self-discovery moment, folks. And when you become aware, when you spiritually wake up to the understanding
that every time you have a big angst, a big button pushed, a big something out of the normal in you, it's not because of the outside world. It's something in you that's time to be discovered. It's a self-discovery moment, not a blaming moment. The only reason people argue is because they're trying to get each other to change their minds. Or they're trying to blame the other person for their own pain. Hence the anger that my friends were going through this past week. He was blaming her
because he went the drunk. As insane as that sounds. And then the challenging thing with that particular environment, his mother and his sister both agreed with him. You're right, Johnny. That's her fault you went the drink. She pushed you over the edge. Load a crap. That drunk stopped going to meetings. So we went from the center of the program to the edge of the program. And then yes, as soon as there was too much stress, he jumped in,
drank again. But for the grace of God four days sober. Why do I say it like that? Because when you understand that people are in your world, the solution to your angst is not in them, the solution to your angst is in you. And once you become aware of that, the next time you feel an angst, a big emotion, a deep pain, a big loneliness, a big whatever, then you go inside and you ask what's going on, little Joe. Will the part of me share? I remember years ago. And I'm not a
I'm not a social media person at all. It wasn't. But I would hear, oh gosh, it was many years ago. The Atlanta Falcons were in the Super Bowl. Whatever year that was. But the entire state of Georgia was in celebration because the Falcons were in the Super Bowl. And I was in
“misery. I was the only person in Georgia hoping they lost. Because I was in misery. What about me?”
Everybody else is having fun. Everybody else is getting to celebrate. Everybody else has people. Everybody else has money. There's I had none of it. I was in solitude. I was in isolation. And I was the only person cheering because the Atlanta Falcons at the time gave up a 30-some odd
Point deficit.
in the state celebrating. Why? Because I was hurting. What buttons were being pushed? Well,
“my little kids and a black buttons. My little kids abandon my buttons. The black buttons.”
Everybody else is having fun. Except me, abandon my buttons. What about me? Why can't I have fun like everybody else? Not good enough buttons? The wealth and everyone else is happy. And I'm not. All of those buttons are literally being pushed. Literally being pushed. And when they're pushed like that, the source is in me. So what did I do? I would journal. I would ask the answer to the healing folks is to bring your awareness inside.
Influencers say, ignore the feelings and just go do the it.
Falsehood. When you ignore the feelings, you're causing more pain. You're abandoning the part that's hurting. You're neglecting the part that's hurting. When you embrace the feelings, when you bring your awareness in, you say, oh my god, there's a big angst here. I've feel it, a big trauma in me. What's going on in me when you bring it inside? Then you start spending time with the part that's hurting. Now, challenge with that is when you spend time with the
part that's hurting, you're going to feel the hurt. That's a good thing. Is it painful? Yeah, but on the other side of the pain is the healing. When you're not hurting anymore, all the crazy voices in your head go away. The source of the voice in your head is in your heart. So all we have to do is heal the heart. How do you heal the heart? Give a voice to your deepest parts. Give a voice to your challenging parts. And why is that all important? Like where's the benefit? Joe, that all
sounds great, but why do I want to do it? Well, because for Joe, the more I healed, the depths of me, the more I heal, the depths of my pain, the more the ego parts, the voices, the craziness, the parts that needed to control, the parts that needed to dominate, the parts that needed to make everybody else wrong. That's all ego part, those parts surrendered and left psychic death.
“So on the other side of the healing of the depths, the only thing left was the oneness. And that's why”
I say human transformation of consciousness. I'm not teaching anybody anything. I'm teaching
you the techniques, though, on how to remember the truth that's always been in you. The truth
that's in you is you are created in God's image. Why don't you live it? Because there's too many wounds between you keeping you away from that truth. Why do I say that? Because the spiritual essence of you and the emotional essence of you are both on the feminine side. And it's in that feminine side. The way you remember the higher you is to heal the deeper you. Hear me folks, the way you remember the higher you, the way you get communion with the higher you is you have to go through connection
with the inner you. How do you do that? Ask in journal, ask in a mode, as that inner you heals everything changes. As the inner you heals, the grandeur you is remembered, literally,
“remember. And it's in that remembering that then you go out and you can create a very cool world.”
And that's where many of you are at it now. Because a lot of you, your lives are challenged by the hurt of your yesterday. It's not. Your yesterday wasn't extreme. You didn't have abuse of parents. Are you been through therapy? You've done some healing. You've had some awakenings. You've already done some work. But the lost isn't because of wound. The lost is because of guidance system. You're not accustomed to being guided by the grandeur you. You're being your accustomed being guided
by the human you. The human you that makes a decision you said a goal you work hard you accomplish the goal you get gratitude. That's the human you and it's worked for 50 years. It doesn't work anymore. But when it does a work now what? That's where you're transcending in from the human you guiding you to the divine you guiding you. How do we do that, Joe? Oh, we ask. Yes. Ask, listen, live. It's the exact same technique. It's the exact same approach. This though you're asking a higher
power for guidance. I say it all the time. You know, everybody asks a higher power for help when they're in trauma. Everybody does. Dear God, my little boys have an assurgery. Please
Protect them.
but you can ask a power greater than yourself for support and help and guidance every minute of
every second of every day. When I became aware of that, everything changed. I talked about it last
week. I was literally sitting in a waffle house. I didn't know what to do. I couldn't go back because now I had a wife and a baby and I was in the middle of creating a new income. That's where Avian energy, the business we're selling now was formed in a waffle house. Why? Because in that moment I became aware that I can ask for guidance for seven, eight, night, seven, dark years, but 10, 12 years. I would ask all the time. Dear God, give me strength and courage. Give me strength and courage.
Give me strength and courage. But strength and courage was to embrace the depths of my pain.
That wasn't guiding me anywhere. And then in that moment, I realized, oh my gosh,
I can ask the same higher power for guidance. Dear God, dear higher power, dear Jesus, dear, whatever you call your divinity, your higher you, guide me, show me, show me the way. And for those of you that are sitting here now and your world externally is set and stable and good, but you're lost. You're lost because the old you can't guide you in your tomorrow, like it guided you in your yesterday. That's the human transformation you're in the center of.
Literally you're awakening to a grander you and that grander you is sitting there waiting.
People said to me, long time, well, Joe, if it's waiting, why doesn't it just do it?
Well, because the greatest gift God gave us was free will. Free will. So your higher power will not do anything for you. It does it with you. How do you make that communion? It's in the asking. When we're in the state of asking, we're in a state of humility. When we're in a state of humility, that's where communion with you and a higher power comes from. Literal communion.
“You have to ask. And as you ask for guidance, then listen, ask, listen, live. So”
when you're listening, make sure you have two pads of paper because you're going to hear some guidance that tells you really cool things to do. Write it down on a piece of paper, the cool things. But you're also going to hear the glass empty voices. That's a stupid idea. No one will listen to you. Who cares? Way back when? wrote a book. Literally 35 years ago. I'd have the voice. You're going to write books. You're going to be a global speaker and you're going to change the
world humanity. That was before the internet folks. You can only imagine how my self-absorbed ego addictive voices would help me. It would just absolutely dominate me with hurtful, hateful, angry voices. Literally. Why? Because that's just what that part did all the time. It just,
“that's what that part of me always believed was true. Was the glass empty essence called Joe.”
Well, I wrote down both voices. The divinity voices, the all-inclusive hey, Joe, let's write a book, write it down, and the glass empty voices. I wrote both down. Why? Because we're human folks. And in that state of humanity, we're not peer divinity yet. We're going to have the fear voices. We're going to have the lack voices. We're going to have those voices. When I hear these people, I just was listening. I hear the same people saying the
same stuff all the time. And I'm listening to this one person. And she's at this seminar. And she says, "How dare you not let the world have your gifts?" And you just see the shame on the people's faces. Like, she's going to shame them into taking action stuff. Well, you know, the truth matter is, if anybody has a gift and they could share it, they already would be, man, they already would. Why don't you tell them that she doesn't know how to tell you what to do? Well, I'm telling
“you how to do it. Literally. You've got gifts inside. How do you tap into your gifts? You have to ask.”
Your higher power. Your gifts are literally in you, but they're in a part of you that you're not in communion with yet. They're there. You have to ask. Now, there's plenty of people that have already done that intuitively. You see these people out there with these cool ideas and travel in the world and making boatloads of money and living in passion intuitively, they've already done it.
I'm talking about the rest of us, the other 99.
them? Have to ask your higher power. Ask your higher guidance system. Hey, dear God. Hey,
higher power. What are my gifts? Hey, higher power. Show me the way. Hey, dear God. What am I supposed to be doing with the rest of my life? That asking. It can be a prayer. I say ask. And then when you hear it, you're going to also hear all the other crazy voices. But that same higher sense of you that gives you the inspiration will also give you the strength and courage to act on the inspiration
“even though the fear is there, the illusion that you have to remove fear to take action is a”
falsehood. Also, the illusion that you can battle the fear and win without a power greater than
yourself support is also a illusion. How do I know? Because 99% of you are sitting on your couch and
you can't figure out how to hell to get off. And you keep hearing these influence or say, just get up and do it. The how to get up and do it is to ask and then listen and listen, you're going to hear two sets of voices. When you hear both sets of voices, the higher power voices are going to be all inclusive. They're going to be very supportive. It's going to be very loving. It's going to be very a flowery tomorrow, a grander tomorrow. Then you're going to have a whole slew of other voices.
It's not good enough. You're too fat. You're too stupid. You're too ugly. You're too dumb. No one cares. But
“all of those voices, the glass empty voices, you have to share with another human. Why?”
Because sharing with the other human, you know what that action step is? All that's right, humility. Do you know the state that we have to live in to be in communion with a power greater than ourselves is a state of humility. And a state of humility is the opposite of a state of control, a state of ego, state of humility. Asking for your higher powers, guidance, that's a state of humility. That's a presence of humility. Sharing your glass empty voices, the embarrassing, hurtful,
hateful voices with somebody else. That's an action. It's a state of humility. It's in that position of humility that you're going to hear it. And then as it's time to take action, that what you hear, you ask for strength and courage because the fear is going to be there. But you'll have the courage and the strength to take the steps necessary. All sorts of support to walk you through that. All sorts of life coaches and there's a world out there that will help you
do it. You just have to get to that spot. Most people never get to the spot where they need a life
coach because they don't know how to get off the couch. They don't know the first thing to do. They don't know the first action. And the first action is to ask a power greater than yourself for guidance. From that position, everything else unfolds. For myself, the entire we podcast, the entire we podcast, this entire global experience is because I was guided by a power greater than myself. Had I ever thought about doing this? No, I didn't. Never. When Wendy Steven says
Joe, you'd be great. Like, great of what? You'd be great at a podcast. How did she know? Well, she's experienced. She's a talent person. She knows. And she said, you know, I told her I didn't know. I didn't know what to do. Push play, talk, push end, I'll handle the rest. That was a coach. She was my coach. She was my guide. And I did. And here we are, all of you have that ability.
“The gifts are in you. How you unlock them is you have to get in a state of communion with the”
power greater than yourself. So let's start all the way at the beginning. When you truly understand you are a we, not an eye or a me, the we, higher self, human self, inner self. The higher you created in God's image, Christ consciousness, the higher you, God, I had to go sit by my father, so we could put the guide in me in you, the spirit that guided me in you. That part, it's in you. Whether you know what's in you or not, doesn't matter. It's in you. It is. How do you tap into it?
You have to ask. Why? Because of free will. If there wasn't free will, there wouldn't be an essence called humanity. So free will. Your will says, I need to ask when you ask for guidance.
You'll hear it.
you'll get stuck before you even get the first list started. It's those stuck voices that keep you stuck on the couch. And since no one is teaching you to ask for guidance, when you're sitting on the couch and you listen to these motivational, motivational speakers and these influences, I just get up and you can't. The reason you can't is because the only voices you hear are the glass empty voices. And I don't care how hard you fight against them. Humanity cannot win.
And you cannot win. How do I know? Because if you could, you wouldn't be here and you're already doing it. Well, sit on the same couch. But just have two pads of paper. And the next time, instead of trying to fight the voices, ask for help from your own higher power, the part that's in you. And if you don't believe it's in you, that's fine. That's called blind faith. Yes. And as you pursue that blind faith, and you listen and you get more practice than it,
then you're going to hear, you're going to see and hear a whole thing. Now, whatever yours is, it could be make a recipe book. It could be have a global podcast. It could be right a book. It could be learn how to do gardening. It could be learn how to play the piano. It could be go back to school. It could save money for a trip to Italy. I don't know what your it is. I don't. But your higher power does. And your higher power is right there waiting for you to ask.
And as we do it, and as more of us do it, the effect becomes overwhelmingly amazing. Last story.
You know, I've got a nonprofit called Project Smile. Look me up. Project Smile. That world. The main reason I'm doing the Wii podcast is because I know for a fact, as the Wii podcast becomes a top 10 ranked podcast in the globe, my availability to get any person on this podcast
“to share with you will be effortless. That's what I want. I want spiritually connected people”
that have true wisdom to share with the audience we're creating now together. But in addition to that, I want the influence of people because I want to create a fund, Project Smile world fund, that is going to raise a billion dollars and the profits using that billion dollars in the market place.
We're never going to touch the billion dollars, but the profits in the market place in the markets and
all that. I've got experts in what to do that. We're going to fund nonprofits, literally. There's tens of thousands of nonprofits right now hands on the ground, feet on the ground. People touching people in need all they need is money. Well, a big reason that this is created, the Wii podcast is created, he'll humanity through emotional growth and also he'll humanity through financial
“means. That's why I'm doing it, literally. Well, this whole giving back concept, right?”
I've got this young man that does my social media and he's out of India and I don't know how old he is, mid 20s. He works for nothing. I mean, he's got, he's hard worker, in that world, they don't have a whole lot of money. He literally for his birthday, because he's around the Wii podcast and he's around my stuff and he's around what I'm doing here and the giving back for his birthday. Instead of him taking anything, the money that people gave him, he took that money and he went to a
school of kids under privilege, kids, the, the kidding self is 20 something, and he gave back. And he said to me, he says, "Joe, in the spirit of the Wii, I decided to give my birthday gifts to these kids." Folks, that's it. That's right there in the spirit of the Wii. The young man gave back to these
“kids. And when those kids get older, they'll remember that forever. Literally. As we have 100 million”
people and 100 million downloads a month, and we have 100 million people that on their birthdays, they're giving back to a charity and an organization that needs means. That's how we heal humanity folks. Literally. It's not rocket science. It's healing one person at a time. The source is the healing, right? That's why we're emotional growth. That's why I have a library of episodes, folks. It'll
always be accessible to you. Please. And understand, if anything pushes your buttons, turn it off,
go get help, get your own awareness, heal through your stuff, and then go back to it. Listen to it
Again.
different episodes. So just come back to any episode and tell people about it. Find what works for you.
Let me celebrate you and your highs. But also let my voice keep you company in your lows. I would have given my left arm in my dark times to have a voice keep me company. I'm doing it for all of us. And my voice can keep you company because I've been there. I don't care how dark you think you are. I've been there. So my voice will speak empathetically and we'll give you the hope to just keep walking forward. Pray for strength and courage. If you're in the depths of your
difficulty because your higher power is there to give you strength and courage. Now to rescue
strength and courage to keep walking. But also let my voice encourage your magnificent being.
“You are and how do you tap into it is the key. Ask. Listen and then live it. And as more and more”
of us do it, more and more of us will do it. And as we continue to build the Wii podcast, we continue to build the global community of like-minded consciousness that all of you are. You bring a tremendous amount of hope to me. This woman took me three and a half years. I guess I'm just slow on stuff. When I came across this woman on September 22, 2022, my heart exploded. Literally. Go to fill life. Now at the time I had just lost my parents. I owe the son as grieving the loss of his
second mother. My mother was a surrogate mother to him. I'm grieving the depths of somebody deeply
special in my life. And then I happen upon this this particular person and my heart explodes. At the exact same time, I've got two books coming through me all at the same time. It was a confusing time. It was. And three and a half years later, what I realized that heart explosion concept, it wasn't an emotional one. It was an expansion one. This person in her normal is more spiritually
“connected to her heart than I was at the time. I'm thinking to myself, that's fantastic. Why?”
Because it just made me truly realize there are tens of thousands of us, hundreds of thousands of us, millions of us all on a spiritual path and a lot of you most of you are probably more spiritually connected to your heart than I am. The difference is you're listening to me in my passion and my purpose. The reason I'm here and use my voice and use the feelings you're feeling here, literally. Use that so that you can inspire and live your grander reason. Whatever it is.
And I look forward to meeting you someday on the road and saying, you know, Joe, I heard one of your podcasts on was on July the 28th. It was recorded on July the 28th, 2026. And the next day I did it, Joe, I sat there and I asked my higher power for guidance and I got a whole bunch of stuff. And oh my god, Joe, you wouldn't believe the three pages of all the crazy voices I had. And man, I hate that part where I have to tell somebody, but I did it, Joe, because you said telling
somebody, because this humility, well, I was humble, all right, it was humble pie. You know, telling that. But today, three years later, Joe, because of the podcast, I'm doing wonderful
“things and my life feels abundant and my life feels full or before it was empty. That's why I'm here”
folks. That's why we're doing it. And together, we're healing together, we're growing, and together, we're changing humanity one smile at a time. And from around the world, I want to welcome you to we. So that's it for today's episode of the Wii podcast. Head on over an Apple Podcast or wherever you listen and subscribe to the show.
