Hey, well, it's your fans, Mindy and Guy Ross here.

And before we start the show, we've got a little surprise for you! Reggie, chew the fanfare!

Starting this week, we've got brand new episodes of "Wow in the World."

Yep, that's right. Starting right here on our "Wow in the World" podcast feed, and also our YouTube channel, "Wow to." You can watch now at tinkercast.com/youtube. Well, what are we waiting for? Let's get back to the show!

And now, for everyone's second favorite game show after,

finishing a load of laundry without losing a sock. Here's two, once and a wow! Ricky hosts, Mindy and Guy Ross! Two, once, two, once, two, once, two, once! Hello and welcome back to Two What's In a Watt!

The scientific game show that separates the "Wows" from the "What's?" And the category for today is "Fire!" Mindy, why don't you refresh our contestants on how the game works?

You know it, "Wasers" in each of our three rounds today, Guy Ross and I will present you with three scientific statements about "Fire."

But, and this is a big, fun! Only one of those statements will be a true "Wow." The other two, just a couple of made-up! In each round, if you guess correctly, well, congratulations, you win a point!

But, if you guess incorrectly, you must stop, drop, and do a red donkillist physical challenge.

Okay, everyone ready to start the game? Great! Then let's start with round one. Which of the following statements is a true scientific "Wow" is it "A"? There's a type of lizard in South America that can spit fire! Or is it "B"?

Forest fires travel faster uphill than downhill! Or is it "C"? Dennis once auditioned for the role of fire for the band "Earth Wind and Fire"? When you think you have the correct answer, throw your hands in the air! Uh, thinking music, please!

And time is up! Let's now reveal the winning "Wow." And to do just that, joining us by phone, it's Jacob and Joshua from California. Jacob, Joshua, please tell us what's the winning "Wow"? Hi, Mendy and I rock! My "Wow" in the world is that Forest fires can travel faster uphill than downhill.

Winner winner, Daniel for dinner! Thank you, Jacob and Joshua! Contestants, if you guess the answer "B" that forest fires travel faster uphill than downhill, well, congratulations, you found the winning "Wow". Forest fires tend to spread in the same direction as the wind which usually is uphill.

Less when smoke and heat rise uphill, it makes the area of the slope much more likely to catch fire.

Now, if you did not get that answer correct, you must stop, drop and jump up and down and slow motion.

All right, time for round two. Which of the following statements is a true scientific "Wow"?

Is it "A"? The first recorded fire extinguisher was patented in the 1500s.

Or is it "B"? Before the birth day tradition of lighting candles on a cake, people used to decorate their cakes with used cotton swabs. Or is it "C"? Camel crew is used to make fire. Winnie, you think you have the correct answer, sing the highest note you can. Hey Reggie! Can we get some thinking music, please?

And time is up to reveal the winning "Wow", it's "Fox" from Canada.

Fox, tell us, what's the winning "Wow"?

Hi, my "Wow" in the world, is that the Reynolds "Camos" cook is used to make fires?

Winner winner, Camel, cook for dinner! Thank you, Fox, contestants, if you guessed the answer, see that "Camos" cook is used to make fire. Congratulations, you found the winning "Wow". Because "Camos" like to eat lots of vegetables, they have a pretty good amount of cellulose in their dump, making their poops extra flammable.

In fact, some believe that Camel-Dung could potentially be an alternative fuel source, reducing our coal usage and helping our planet. Or to put it another way! This poop is on fire!

Now, if you did not get that answer correct, you must stop, drop, and do your best impression of a catch-up bottle.

OK, now for the final round round three, which of the following statements is a true scientific "Wow", is it "A"?

Fire can be put out by sound. Or is it "B"? Ram on jeep forest where his flame retardant underpants because her tooth is so flammable. Or is it "C"? You can start a fire using only water. Winnie, you think you have the correct answer, do your best thinking pose. Uh, thinking music, please!

And time is up! To reveal that winning "Wow", please welcome "BiPhone", "Ronan" from California. "Ronan"? Tell us, what's the winning "Wow"? I mean, the young guy was, "BiPhone" is that fire can be put out by sound.

Winner winner, sound waves for dinner!

Thank you, Roman, contestants if you guessed the answer, that fire can be put out by sound. Well, congratulations! You found the winning "Wow". That's right, Guy Ros, fire can actually be put out by sound. But it has to be a very specific type of sound.

Back in 2015, two engineering students created an acoustic fire extinguisher. This works by using sound waves to push oxygen away from the source of the flame and spread it over a larger area. As you might know, fire needs oxygen in order to burn. So, without oxygen, the fire won't burn.

Now, if you did not get the answer correct,

you must stop, drop, and touch your toes with your elbows.

Now, let's thank our sponsors. Today's show is brought to you by Cold Navy. Each store has kept exactly 32 degrees Fahrenheit, and you won't burn any of the savings. Alright, let's take a quick break and hear some other important messages for grown-ups. To what's in a while, we'll be right back.

[Music]

That's it! Now back to the show!

[Music] Welcome back to two what's and a wow!

The scientific game show that separates the owls from though.

[Music] That sound can be the only one thing! Someone needs a tissue? It's time for today's bonker balls bonus round! This week, we're asking you a question about an episode of

"Wow in the World" called a weekend at BioWorld. And the question for this round is... BioSphere 2 was one of the largest science experiments to ever study how humans might survive on other planets.

In 1991, eight brave researchers locked themselves

inside of a massive greenhouse that was biosphere 2 for more than two years. Despite having nearly everything you could possibly need to survive being cut off from the rest of the world, the crew had major issues just two months into the experiment.

What happened?

Was it A, the researchers ran out of toilet paper?

Or was it B? The bacteria got into the crop soil, starving the researchers of both food and oxygen. Or was it C? A leak in the ceiling that would ruin the entire experiment.

And with the answer to today's bonker balls bonus question, it's Reggie! Reggie, tell us, what's the winning wow? If you guessed B, congratulations! You are correct!

Somehow, bacteria found its way into biosphere 2 wreaking havoc on the researchers crops. This not only meant the researchers' food supplies were diminished, but the bacteria also sucked up all the oxygen from the surrounding air. Yes!

Congratulations to all of our winning wowsers on today's show! Mindy, what's today's prize? Well, guys, today's winners will all be receiving their very own, but not a close!

I think you mean banana peels, and if that is the case,

oh, wowsers, please just make sure to put your banana peels, I mean, close! Into the compost bin once you're done with your prize! Reggie, kill the prize cannon! Oh, boy!
