"I never saw myself as a woman in power.
It wasn't in two. I realized the power had helping all the women.

"At Clean Space is a clean headspace. I don't function well
in a messy space. Most people don't either. If you a person that own a business you can't come up with nicer ideas, you can come up with a better plan, a better business plan or a way to grow." "You're a woman in power because you help others rise. How would you define the concept of power and words or what does it mean to you personally?" Personally helping all the people rise. It's not something I do, it's something I am. When we talk about business, a lot of people think
money, money, money, money, money, that's the first thing they see, right? But that's not the no.
"The living your legacy podcast for those who live to live a legacy." Welcome back to another powerful episode of Women in Power. I'm Regouteras for the Insight
“Success Networking. Joining me today is Bruno Bobo. Bruno Bobo, where are you from, Milo?”
I am originally from Brazil. Wow. Yeah. Very cool. So, talk about the the journey from Brazil to here in 30 seconds. In 30 seconds. Yeah, back to the future montage. Completely different culture. Absolutely. We are much hotter and the weather, not the person. And we, um, God, we love food. I wasn't about, I was just help follow for a minute. What a city.
We love. We flew out of a fly because we love a good day. Yeah, for a first share. Amazing.
So, tell us who you are. Who I am. I am women in power. I am perseverance. I am overcome. I am Bruno Bobo. I have been through a lot and I am proud this owner of super cleaners and be in Costa Phoenix team power by innovative. We service the, with service industry and all of the communities at cleaning residential, commercial, post construction. Costa Phoenix team serves. We help first time home buyers, investors for, you know, new moms. Yeah. So, how do you
do this kind of business? So, I started with cleaning. Okay. My mom was into cleaning when we moved to America and I started with her and realized that quickly I could make a business out of it. I didn't have to work for anybody. So, that's literally how I got started. I just wanted the freedom to work for myself. So, folks look at cleaning businesses and go, oh, me. It's like, no, no, no, no, no. There's a whole system, a whole online, like, system SOP that you've built. I'm sure
Kate, talk about why you find so much joy in this and why it's such a lucrative business. Yes, I delegate, right? Any business, you delegate. You have people that manage. You have people that check the jobs. You have people that inspire. But you do it again. Thank you. I, you have people that do the job, right? So, we have cleaners, train cleaners. We have people who check, you know, I love organizing, separating into categories and seeing if flow, like smoothly, like a smoothly,
sale, like smooth machine. You're right. It is a business that most people are like,
“cleaning, but the truth is more than people that you know are on the cleaning business and”
that guarantee you that anybody, even listening, they know somebody who is in the cleaning business. We, we run multiple studios here and I can't, I can't wait to tell you, okay, my happy days when the clean people are here, because it's just like a breath of fresh air. All the
you and all the traffic and all the noise is finally clean and it's like a fresh reset to the house.
It's actually helps our staff and even Rudy and myself have like a fresh start for the week. You just feel it in the energy and the frequency of the room. Talk about how important that is. Where? I teach people all the time. Your home runs as smoothly as you. So, I have my house on the cleaning rotation all the time because I'm cleaning two kids to dogs to cats and to business. Somehow I had a gift with two, I don't know what that is, but I have them clean for me and it
Helps tremendously because I don't function well in a messy space.
a person that, you know, own a business or in any other industry, most likely if you are in a messy space, you don't function well. You can't come up with nicer ideas, you can come up with a better plan, a better business plan or a way to grow. You are overwhelmed by paperwork and stuff and mass and all the stuff you got to do. So, even as being a woman is specifically, it's
“even better for us because we want to clean everything. You see, you're stressed. That's what we do.”
So, that really helped my business, too. When I was stressed, I could just clean and it made us successful. But I don't think people realize how much free them. Most cleaners find and the job. Oh, sure. Talk about some of the systems you've put in place. What is the philosophy that you're
carrying off from your mom? Clean room is a powerful room. Is there like a model that you live
by? That is going to hand it down. That clean space is a clean head space. That's what we say in Brazil all the time. That is one of them. The second one I tell people all the time make your bed. You get up in the morning, make your bed. Not about keeping in clean, but the principle of starting your day. And if you come back into that room, you get the reward of I did that. And I know it's very, very simple. But it starts a whole routine of a sequence of events
that leads you into a successful day. So, I got to ask, what is your sequence of events when you're cleaning? Is it the floors, the walls, what goes first? And why is it the most optimized way to cleaning the space? I start top to bottom. Building fans, corners, walls all the way down to the floors, the last thing. Simply because if you're cleaning up, right? If you clean the floors first when you clean the ceiling, the floor is a mess. So, just like in any home
organization, top to bottom, the last thing to do is the floor is you walk out. The home is ready.
“So, you are a woman in power. How does that make you feel? How does bizarre, huh?”
It does. Pretty cool. It does. I never saw myself that way. I always saw myself broken
for the longest time. I always saw myself have broken. I always wonder, am I just a cleaner? Is this all I get to do? I never saw myself as a woman in power. It wasn't into, I realized, the freedom, financially. The freedom emotionally to work for myself. The power had helping all the women. Everybody that works for me is a mom, a single mom or a mom in some sort of capability. Giving them the freedom to be with their kids and changing their lives, but not just
theirs. The customers too. There's a lot of customers that walk in their house. Elder ladies, gentlemen that they're alone. And they don't have nobody to help them or support them. And I have had many encounters where I'm ending up my cleaning appointment hugging and tears and encouraging them. And I have had many many situations where I've felt like I stopped in council. My clients are rather than just clean. You know, I feel like we have such a giving heart and a serving heart.
“That's what makes this business so worth doing it for me. Before we get a little melancholy,”
I have to ask. What is the craziest space or mess you cleaned? The hoarders. And I did not know. And this is when I was cleaning. This is five years ago. This is what all Americans are like. Oh, no. It wasn't here in the United States, but it was not all Americans are like no. No, there is, you know, I cleaned her house. She had mental condition and we came into help her out. I was by the painful picking up trash by the painful. It was the most intense job we've done.
It was so bad that at some point I walked outside and I'm pretty sure I threw up. Wow. Yeah, that was really bad. But we were really happy when he finished it. I wasn't going to say it was a good more visceral than that. How did that customer or that person's life change after you did? Oh, my God, tremendously, you know, tremendously. She had so much space. She cried. She had so much space. She said I didn't know my house could look like this.
And I remember giving her a list. It's okay. Go buy some new rug, some new things. When she came back, the house was clean and she cried. She said I hadn't seen my floors in the long time. Wow. Yeah. I really, really love what we do. Right on. What advice would you give to someone that's sort of like you 20 years ago or when you began this entrepreneur journey? What advice would
you give yourself watching this in the past? See, God first. Always. See, God first. You can't go
around there because he will guide you. You know, he led me to every decision I made and every open door. He led me. So that would definitely be, see, God first. And he will add all of your dreams into the right place. Absolutely. Well, you just finished filming your episode for woman in power with Anton,
The greed as I like the call.
in front of cameras? Life changing. Absolutely. Life changing is the best way I can describe it. And thank you for that. Thank you guys for that. That's opportunity. Has been life-changing. I've been able to see full-time all the healing and the growth and the process in these past 17 years of business. All right. I'm going to pull up with some questions actually from your session. As a sneak peek through episode, as I said here, you've written that you're a woman in power because you help others rise.
“How would you define the concept of power in your own words? And what does it mean to you personally?”
So to me personally helping all the people rise, it's not something I do, it's something I am. Does that make sense? Absolutely. I don't run business. I feel like God empower me to run business.
It's not I is he. Always. First. And second is always about people. You know, when we talk about
business, a lot of people think money, money, money, money, money, that's the first thing they see, right? Yes, you can sit here and talk about 15 houses I own and all these and all that, but that's not enough. I don't think I think people are the real thing. I think creating a business that can change a person's life even if it is just cleaning. You know, or if you want to call it that, but even if it is just cleaning, I think that's that's where it's at. I think being able to do that is what I am.
“That's why I consider women in power because I love to empower others. I think that would be”
the right business model for me. Yeah. So what's next for you? I see that, well, I'm just free one a bit. Since you are a woman in power, you work with your husband, your partner. Yes, we are partners, yeah. And that's also the next team. Yeah. So what's the like any advice for anyone
that's running businesses with your partner? Create time for your relationship. Always. Create time
for a relationship. Not all business partners are life partners. That is the second. You can have a
“business partner, not be life partners. You need a best friend and they're your best friend. It will work.”
Right. How do people find you get a hold of you and use your services? Yeah. Coastal Phoenix team power by Innovate. We're on Facebook. We're on Instagram. We're on YouTube. You can find us super cleaners and be Facebook, YouTube and Instagram as well. And we are in South Carolina. We run off South Carolina murder beach. Right on. Yeah. Wow. What a one of a story. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you so much for your time and energy.
That was such a great powerful story. That concludes yet another amazing woman in power podcast
episode for Insight Success. I am Raymond Tears. (upbeat music)
