We are at Full Service Storm Restoration Company.

We do all of the types of riffing from asphalt, riffing to tile, stonecoded still, staying in seam. We're out there helping people navigate these storms and sometimes we're out there all night. Warden up windows and trying to keep their whole house really in the mall.

Lower work and Jamie Hale are visionary entrepreneurs and the driving forces behind Helier Roofing. Through their leadership and commitment to excellence, they are transforming roofing through

integrity, service and a people first approach.

It is setting up homeowners and customers and communities to be able to be proactive instead of reactive music, the AI technology to predict the storms and to protect the homeowners before the hell. Tips would you give to homeowners or business owners about preventative measures of how do they protect everyone?

He an educated upon your insurance policy and known what kind of policy you have. There's a lot of the exclusions that they'll add into the policy just to give the home owner a cheaper rate. So. It spans the goal like a super high school Internet Elvis.

Today Apple is going to reinvent the fall. It's not over, I'll tell how we're. The living your legacy podcast for those who live to leave a legacy. Hey, welcome back everyone to another episode of Living Your Legacy Podcasts. I'm your host again today, Jay Slangen and we are here at the weekend of the World Cup

finals at our new studios in sunny Miami Beach, Florida and we got two special guests here today.

Our first double podcast in the new studios and for my first guess of Blue Color America.

Let me have you guys introduce yourself with the names where you from and what's your business?

My name is Laura Hale. I'm from Fort Worth, Texas and I own Hellyye Riffing. My name is Jamie Hale and we're from Fort Worth, Texas. We own Hellyye Riffing. Hellyye Riffing.

So yeah, my first double my first duo here for Blue Color and we are starting off with the Hellyye Riffing. Hellyye Riffing. Alright, so hey, you're Miami Beach, right? What do you guys think of the new studios?

It is absolutely gorgeous. Yeah. I love it. I feel like I've won an episode of my advice. It's gorgeous.

It's gorgeous. Alright.

And it took care of you, my friend.

Absolutely. Yeah. Alright. So, how do you spell your last name? Hellyye.

Is it with HALE? Okay. Hellyye.

And so, you are actually my second Roofing Company in Texas, right?

Okay. So, tell me what kind of Roofing you guys do. So, I mean, we do all the times of Riffing from asphalt, Riffing to Tile, Stonecoat, it's still staying in seam. There's so many different variations of Riffing products for residential and commercial.

Okay. So, this guy was almost talking like Storm Chasing and saying that one of the things he would do is like, there's a lot of HALE, I guess in Texas, and you know, it would be love what's that movie where they're chasing tornadoes almost. Seriously.

Twist there, right? That's right. So, yeah. There would be Storm Chases if there's a HALE storm, right? And then they check at the roots because you guys get like golf size and softball.

We get softball based ball DVD size HALE. Wow. That's incredible. And so, has that done any, have you experienced that? Has it done any damage to your own home?

Yes. All right.

Was that the kind of like the inspiration for cutting into this?

Yeah. Most definitely. I mean, you know, being a homeowner and she could probably, Laura gets big on that is, you know, that's probably one of the toughest things to do with is a homeowner is, you know, having your whole house just shaken with, with the severe storm and three inch

four inch hail, just demolishing everything. And how often does that happen? So, pretty often in Texas, the springtime is when you get the most, the biggest storms. Wow. So, we do actually storm chase a little bit.

We are at full service storm restoration company. Okay. So, health comes in, it's stories, neighborhoods, and we go in and help for storage. All right. So, HALE, yeah.

And you guys are chasing HALE. That's right. That's right. That's right. Yeah.

Don't forget it. Yeah. And so, you guys are a couple. Yes. All right.

And so, how is it working as a couple in your business? It can be difficult sometimes, but for the most part, it's been interesting. He knew, I'm not from the roof industry. Yeah. I built systems and came from a corporate America where he came from more of the construction

Side of things.

Okay. So, you're not getting on the roof? No, I'm not getting on the roof. I'm not climbing the ladder.

So, you're like, you're like a bad man, a Robin behind the scenes, doing the systems, putting

in those corporate kind of checks and balances. One hundred percent. Yeah. He does all of the construction where I, as far as I do all the systems, and helping the homeowners with their policies and navigating the storm.

Yeah. Because usually when we get a host storm of these sizes, it destroys everything. Yeah. Yeah. They got water coming in.

So, um, holes in the roof. Jesus.

I've never experienced anything like that, so that's like Armageddon.

It's a little bit like that. It looks like that. Wow. Sometimes you'll drive down the street, and you'll see, you know, the whole, it'll be 90 degrees outside.

And the whole street is covered in, looks like snow. It's big, yeah. Yeah. Hellstones that have just destroyed their air conditioning systems, their windows, they've got water pouring in.

Because you got torrential storms coming down right after the roof. So, is he insurance for this, just like, is through the roof? Yeah. We'll have him when there's a insurance, but at times we find people that don't have interest.

Yeah. You know, so we're, we're trying to help people first and foremost, we're out there, helping people navigate these storms and sometimes we're out there all night, board up windows, and trying to keep their whole house from being demolished. Yeah.

So, what tips would you give to homeowners or business owners about, you kind of, uh, preventative

measures of how do they protect their rooms?

I would say, education being educated upon your insurance policy and no one would kind of policy you have. Yeah. What people sign, they will share it. Cover's hell.

Right. I'm sure it does cover hair. Make sure that you have, you know, the exclusions that are written in insurance policies. Most people don't realize what they're signing, and they just sign they say, well, this is your deductible.

This is how I'm in your premium.

I think if you're coming from, let's say, the great California exodus, right?

Right. You know, maybe we're coming from two Vegas and you didn't think Vegas was for you. So you go to Texas. Bye. They're not going to know about hail.

Right. I didn't know about hail, right? Absolutely. You know, maybe the insurance companies are trying to just get away with it. Or, yeah, they just don't know about it.

Right. So I guess they got to check for that. Yeah. I think that's probably one of the biggest downfalls that we run across to is just people are not educated enough.

They just don't know. You know what I mean? Yeah. And in different cities, there's different things. But at the end of the day, that is your home, it's your number one asset.

You know what I mean?

And so you have to protect your first line of defense, which is your roof.

And so you guys use drone technology at all? Absolutely. Yeah. And we'll kind of drone you guys. You got the D.R.

You got the goggles? I got the goggles. I got the D.G. I do a drone racing down the side of the house. Yeah. No.

I'll we'll do that. Okay. We definitely use the drone with AR technology and stuff like that to be able to do that. The technology with the drones. Yeah.

All right. So tell me about that. You know, okay. Before we get into that, dude, I just saw the craziest thing this morning about AI technology and drones of how they're using them to kill mosquitoes.

Right. Yes. And it can go over like a full yard or even a full neighborhood. And it tells the AI can sense the, what do you call the buzz of a mosquito from a bee and even from a female mosquito in a male mosquito because females are the only ones

that bite. That's a 10 selfie. It just goes. It senses that sound and pop, pop, pop, just kind of runs them over with the rotors. Wow.

Wow. That's crazy. Yeah. Anyways, drones. Right.

So how is the AI in the drone and the roofing industry where?

Well, I mean, they're software that you can upload to the drone to be able to detect the hail and stuff like that and heat sink it out and stuff. So it gives you an accurate notice that AI that's from a hail stone hit, but I'm a little bit more hands on. I get up on top of the roofs and that way I can actually see what the hail stone and

and see if it damaged the maddening. You also got to check a previous roofers kind of jobs that they did because honestly, like a construction industry, like the homeowners aren't getting up there and they don't know what to look for. You're talking about a corner of one of the corners of a hard hedge.

You're right. Did they go cheap on it or they did a bad job? Like you got to check on that stuff, too. Absolutely. Yeah.

Absolutely. And so what's the hardest part of your guys job? Probably as you can't ignore homeowners because a lot of times the homeowners think that they know, you know, what they're getting in. And because of Bobby that comes in, but because of Bobby told me this, right?

Exactly. And they insurance companies, I mean, I'm not trying to dog on the insurance companies at all, but they're trying to save money. They're in business for themselves as well. So they're trying to save money where they can and they don't educate the homeowners like

They should.

So there's a lot of exclusions that they'll add into the policy just to give the homeowner a cheaper rate. So do your due diligence and make sure you're paying attention to what your policy says because they try to work in a lot of it. I have exclusions, especially in the hell hit areas, you know, they want to exclude the

metals and the least glued certain things and then when a hell storm hits, the homeowner will be stuck with all that out of pocket expense. So definitely check your policies and make sure you know what you're getting because the

cheaper one is always, you know, it's not always the best.

That's correct. Yeah. Yeah. So with a name like Haley, yeah, right? You guys have any kind of creative marketing strategies that you've done, like what's

working for your marketing? Oh, yeah. We have, that's too much fun, it's too much fun. We come from a very saturated market. Yeah.

I'm sure. Sure. We have, there's all all kinds of refers in the gift of you. So nine thousand. Yeah, nine thousand in our area nine thousand ripping companies into the gift of your

metrics. And when Haley, it's, I mean, you guys setting yourself apart from this overcrowded market. Well, our name, their name is Ron. Whether they like us or not, they're not going to remember, they will remember our

name. Absolutely. And in our colors. Okay, what's the color?

So our colors are hot pink and neon green.

Oh. And that stands out. So it's the hell. Yeah. That gives that pop.

Yeah. So behind it, our trucks are in that hot, vibrant neon pink and neon green. So when they see his driving on the road, they know it's, that, there goes Haley. Yeah.

It's like, uh, is it like kind of reminiscent of the 80s neon?

That's right. Yeah. Oh, yeah. So you guys, is that, is the team uniform kind of like the, put those party rock guys?

Absolutely. But not show up on a doorstep. I'm in hot pink neon shorts. Oh, green shoes with a black shirt. Are you kidding or are you super real?

I'm 100% serious. That you've lasted.

Party rockers in the house tonight.

Yeah. Good. All right. Well, you guys are a lot of fun. Uh, and you guys got to have some cool name, cool marketing.

So what do you guys most excited about? You know, there's this thing that we're launching. Um, storm shield. Yeah. Um, we're storm shield.

It's called storm shield. Yeah. Um, we're very excited about this and it's been in the groundbreaking, um, you know, she's been designing it and building it and hats off to her for just her heart and, and the tenacity and the long hours that she's been putting in.

Nobody sees what goes in behind the scenes and she's designed this and storm shield. It is setting up homeowners and customers and communities to be able to be proactive instead of reactive. Yeah. And we can get in front of more people to educate them and they have something in return

for free. Yeah. And where they can protect their home in the long run.

And that's what storm shield is designed to do.

Um, and it also allows our leadership and our team to better serve our homeowners at that level. I'm sure maybe they can even take that go to the insurance companies and say, hey, look, we've even been part of this storm shield. Right.

Maybe they can get a better rates or something for it. Most definitely. We use, um, we use the technology or we're using the AI technology to predict the storms and to protect the homeowners before the hell hits. Yeah.

So we go, that's a custom body can go up there with the roof or the shield. So they get, they get storm protection before, you know, we go in and we make sure that the homeowners are protected before then. If hell were to hit their home, we go out and, and let's pick their homes for free. We don't charge them anything for, for the storm shield program.

It educates the homeowners and what they should, how they should be protected. And when they should be protected and when when a storm does hit, we go out and make sure that, you know, they don't have it. If they do have damage, we're there to, we're there to help them if they don't have any damage, they're protected.

And it also gives you a, uh, them and alert to, to whenever a storm hits. Yeah. So that's how we're kind of designed in it to where you get a notification on your phone, hey, your home has been damaged or in a, or it's been hit with a, or it's been hit with a.

We're in a area. It's even pre-marketing almost. You know, you're just lining them up, right? You get it. You're setting up that line outside the nightclub.

Right. Exactly. Oh, it's a hail storm hits and then it's like, okay, guys, read this way. That's right. Exactly.

Yeah. Most of the troops out to make sure that. So that's probably one of the most exciting things that we're excited about. Awesome. And so how do people find you?

So it's, uh, hell yeah, riffing dot com or on Facebook at hell, yeah, riffing or, uh, Instagram, hell, yeah, riffing, um, you can find us right there, um, at any one of those places

we're all over social media, Chad, do we see who's hell, yeah, riffing?

Nice. We've got to go there and I'm going to check out the-- Hey, it's a bunch. A-L-E-Y-E-A-H. Roofing.

Ah, okay. H-F-E-L-E-Y-E-H.

So, yeah.

Hell yeah. Got a swing for Texas. Oh, okay.

We've got the Texas flag.

Yeah. All right. Yeah.

You'll see the hot pink in the evening.

Yeah. I got to check out these uniforms, man. Exactly. Exactly. Most of the right.
