Iran's military. "They are toast, and they know it. Or at least, soon enough, they will know it." The U.S. and Israel are continuing to strike Iranian targets. Heggseth says the U.S. was behind the overnight sinking of an Iranian naval ship off the
coast of Sri Lanka. The German of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Dan Cain, says the U.S. has enough weapons for offensive and defensive purposes. This comes as Iranian authorities say the attacks have killed more than 1,000 people in Iran.
Iranian authorities had planned to launch three days of official mourning tonight for Supreme Leader Ali Haminin.
He was killed Saturday in the first wave of attacks against Iran.

But Iran State media now says, "The morning rituals will be postponed to another time, no new date has been set." There are results from some of yesterday's primary elections. In Texas, the Associated Press has called the Democratic primary for the U.S. Senate for Texas State Representative James Taloreco.
He defeated Congresswoman Jasmine Crocket from the Texas Newsroom, Blaze Gini, has more. We go took the stage right after midnight to let his supporters know that while every vote must be counted, he was confident in the outcome.
That was before he was declared the winner.
He used that time to drive home the reason he ran for the sea. This is a people-powered movement to take on this broken, corrupt political system. This is truly a campaign of by and for the people.

could break that losing streak, depending on who he faces in the primary. After he was officially awarded the Democratic spot, he sent out a press release saying, "We're about to take back Texas. For MPR News, I'm Blaze Gini." Taloreco's Republican opponent has not yet been decided.
The GOP contest will go to a runoff election in late May. It will be between incumbent Republican Senator John Cornean and Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton. Their rivalry has been bitter, Paxton accuses Cornean of being weak and beholden to outside interests.
"We just sent a message loud and clear to Washington. We are not going to go quietly, and we are not going to let you by the sea." But Cornean is pointy to Paxton's troubles. Paxton has faced a criminal indictment for alleged securities fraud, allegations of adultery. He was also impeached by the Texas State House.
Paxton was acquitted by the Texas State Senate. This is NPR. Officials in Spain are reacting to President Trump's threats to cut off trade with them, Spain denied permission for the U.S. to use two military bases as part of the attacks on Iran. Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez says his country rejects the breaking of international
law. Stockmark is plunged across Asia today because of fears of a widening, mid-east conflict, and fears Anthony Cune reports from Seoul that South Korea, Japan, and other Asian economies rely heavily on imported oil. South Korea's Cosby Index tumbled by as much as 12%.
With circuit breakers on the Korea exchange, suspending trading to halt the panic. Japan's Nikki Index dropped by over 4%. Two days of selloffs on the Cosby have wiped out half a trillion dollars in market capitalization. This represents a major correction for the Cosby whose world-beating bull run saw prices surge by around 40% so far this year.
The Nikki has also seen record-breaking growth. South Korea's currency, the ones, slumped against the dollar by as much as 4%, reaching its lowest level in 17 years. Stockmark its in Bangkok, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Shanghai, also recorded significant losses, Anthony Cune in PR News Seoul. Some notable names have one primary elections in Texas.
