Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson is defending the war in Iran, predicting that gas prices will be on the decline soon, and PR's Claudia Griesonley's report. He's also pushing back against worries about invading Cuba. Speaker Johnson argued the war in Iran is limited in scope, and high gas prices are a "temperary" blip.
Johnson also said there's no reason to think the U.S. would be putting troops on the ground in Cuba. I don't think there's the appetite to put boots on the ground in Cuba.
“I think some of this happens organically.”
I think the system is in the process of collapsing because it's a socialist regime,

However, the Speaker acknowledged the military was in need of supplemental funding even before the Iran war. So he and other Republicans are reevaluating a path for a supplemental bill through a partisan process known as reconciliation, despite their tight margins in Congress.
