Israel and the Iranian-backed militant group has below, announced a ceasefire Friday. They've been fighting in Lebanon since shortly after Israel and the U.S. attacked Iran. “"I think that nobody here is truly confident that anything that's been announced over”
the last few hours will hold simply because even after it was announced, there were alert within Israel and ongoing firing in Lebanon. And so it's very precarious, you know, I can't even tell you whether it will hold considering we were still getting those reports of mutual fire up through at least an hour and a half after the ceasefire was supposed to have gone into effect."

The education department is offering student loan borrowers a temporary discount on interest if they sign up for automatic payments, and Pierce Cori Turner explains.
Hoping to entice millions of borrowers back into regular repayment, the department is offering a full percentage point off their interest rate.
“So a bar with a 6% rate on their loans would see it dropped temporarily to 5%.”
The offer begins July 1st, and the rebate would last for two years until summer 2028. Borrowers who are already enrolled in autopay don't need to do anything. They'll automatically get the discount. The education department says borrowers will have until the end of September to sign up and qualify.

They beat a talented Turkey team 2-0 and the Americans were playing without their star-winger Christian Plusik who hurt his left calf in last week's game and had to sit out.
But the U.S. struck first when forward-flar in Balagin took a pass up the left side of the
