Iran says it's closing the straight of Hormuz once again because Israel has not stopped

its fighting against Hezbollah militants in Lebanon, and end of that fighting was a condition

of the tentative deal struck by the Trump administration with Iran, but as NPR's Janner RAF reports, ending that fighting is complicated by Hezbollah's demands. Lebanon has agreed with Israel and the U.S. to disarm Hezbollah. The Hezbollah's position is it won't lay down weapons while Israeli troops are occupying Lebanon.

Monday is also Colorado's deadline for signing up online or getting a male and application postmarked. Though there is more time to register in person through Colorado's primary day on June 30. The same day, in person registration is also available in Maryland and Utah.

Those states are holding their primary days on Tuesday. If you have already registered to vote, you may want to go to your election officials website and check your registration status before your state's deadline. Election officials may remove your name from their lists of registered voters, especially via recently moved, change your name, or haven't voted in a while.
