The study found no link between taking Thailand all during pregnancy and a risk of autism or attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and children. It appears Maria Gadori reports. Researchers examined health records for more than 700,000 pairs of mothers and children spending more than two decades.

They compared siblings, some were exposed to Tylenol or acetaminophen in utero while others were not. They found no increased risk for ADHD or autism in children whose mothers took the drug during pregnancy. That finding was consistent no matter which trimester the exposure happened, how often the drug

was used or the dose. Other recent studies from multiple countries have also failed to find a link between Tylenol use during pregnancy and neurodevelopmental disorders in children. The new study appears in the journal JAMA Internal Medicine, Maria Gadori and PR News. This is NPR.

Scientists say they've taken a big step towards creating a fully functional synthetic cell. It appears Rob Stein has more. Researchers at the University of Minnesota say they made their cell from scratch in their laboratory.

But the Minnesota researchers say their creation dubbed the "spud cell" is the first

that can perform some of the key functions of living cells.

Those include the ability to feed, grow, divide, and spontaneously develop new capabilities. Much more work is needed, but the researchers say their cells could someday have many important uses, including helping produce new medicines. Critics, however, worry that synthetic cells could pose future risks, Rob Stein and PR News. The U.S. Men's National Soccer team has a date with Belgium, the two are to meet Monday
