On Wednesday, Israel ordered evacuations in a village in southern Lebanon for the first
time in weeks and carried out strikes. Lebanon's health ministry says one person was killed and 12 others were wounded. The fighting prompted U.S. mediated talks between Israel and Lebanon to pause early on Tuesday. The negotiations are expected to resume today.

The FAA is investigating a safety incident involving Marine One, the helicopter carrying President Trump came closer than required to a departing passenger jet near Reganational Airport on Tuesday.
