The Pentagon is pushing U.S. defense companies to accelerate production of key weapons.

sixth month. And here's Catlaun's sort of has more." In a statement, Pentagon spokesperson Sean Parnell confirmed the department made efforts in the past week to significantly speed up munitions production. He said that the U.S. is focused on acquiring more to provide "the weapons our warfighters
need at the pace the threat demands." But he also said the effort was not new that it was part of a broader plan to modernize the department, one that began before the U.S. launched war in Iran in February. The administration has repeatedly denied reports that some missile stockpiles have been depleted in this war, such weapons often take years to replenish.

of the state. On social media, Utah Governor Spencer Cox said they put themselves in harm's way to protect the state, and he's heartbroken over the deaths. The FAA and National Transportation Safety Board will investigate the crash. Utah has seen an intense and dangerous fire season.

If you are eligible to vote in this Tuesdays primary in Connecticut, in-person registration ends on Monday at 12 noon local time. Minnesota, Vermont, and Wisconsin, also hope primarys next Tuesday. Ells will voters who haven't yet registered in those states can do so as late as primary day.

The four-cancer safety film industry is on track to have its first $10 billion
year since 2019. But through the end of July in 2019, cinemas had sold 747 million tickets. This year's ticket sales are way down, fewer than 500 million. It's keeping the dollar totals high is prices, seven years ago the average movie ticket cost $9.16.
Today, audience fondness for premium formats like IMAX has pushed the average ticket price above $13, which means fewer patrons for bigger event films.
