For NPR News I'm Susan Benz in Milwaukee. Two media organizations are suing President Trump over his subscription service offering early access to his true social posts. NPR's Bobby Allen reports the suit claims the
service violates the first amendment and asks the court to block it. "The University of
“the Freedom of the Press Foundation are suing Trump and White House officials alleging that the”
service known as "Truth API is illegal." For up to $100,000 a month the offering provides banks and other investors with faster access to Trump's often market-moving social media posts where the president makes announcements about economic policy, the war, and Iran, and other matters. Trump media officials say so far 10 customers have signed up. The suit claims the service is "extraordinary corrupt and unconstitutional." The suit argues selling early access
to the president's posts violates the first amendment's guarantee of equal public access to the president's statements. Trump's media company said monetizing social media data is not unusual, adding that the president created the platform as a quote "uncancelable haven for free speech," Bobby Allen and P.R. News. White House press secretary Caroline Levitt is leaving her role this month to spend more time with family. The president also wrote untrue social

Rescue teams are still searching for signs of life in the rubble in western Columbia. A magnitude 7.4 earthquake struck on Monday, killing more than 250 people. John Otis reports from Kali, one of the hardest hit cities. "I came across a pair of five story apartments that had been absolutely flattened," Henry Garan, who lives a few blocks away,
