You were a correctional officer for about 60 months or 79, much less than that.

But whatever the story was, that part of my life they missed it.

They missed it? They're half a billion late.

So I brought on the freeway across.

Was he the reason why you named yourself "Ease a crackhead"?

What are you talking about? Why would a crackhead inspired a boss freak rose? History with you and 50 is it better now? It's a nice alley hoop you're just doing but... You're gonna take it or you're gonna pass it back.

I told you I'm a one by arm of this bitch freak. End up one five, yeah! But now I'm home and wash. I took this younger son fishing before. This is when you guys were good.

I called him Bruce Lee work. And 50 knew you were taking a fishing. The important thing here is 50 cents son got to fish at a great location. Star Island.

Miami is always been the spot.

It's the sunlight. It's the ocean. It's the breeze. The alkaline air. You can keep selling it by the way.

You throw me the alley. Hopefully one day I become a minority owner in the Miami dog. Oh really? The CFO's a good friend of mine. Chris, text him right now.

Chris! Would you want to be actively involved? What?

You think I'm gonna walk around there being involved?

In '06, everybody was bidding for you. It was a lot of people who understood my direction. I just made it clear. This wasn't gonna be regular. This big boy heavyweight.

Rick Ross, collaboration, shy days, number one on earth. For her to do a concert, all she has to do is come out in a white gown. No shoes that you sit down in the install. If you're putting it out there, they're probably gonna reach out to you. Oh my god, I would love to go get you a couple marcher.

Would you put Drake at your level? Of course not. He's a man here. You're not putting Drake at your level. I can see in your eyes you might be confused.

PBD come on now. Yeah. I can't show at least. I'm telling you, you can't be afraid of what's fun. I send from a minion.

You listen to ice man. I listen to some of the engine that was horrendous. This is one of who I was bringing up. Mike Jackson, what a Billy Jeanette. It's fair to say you guys won't be collaborating anytime soon.

I don't know, it's something I want to go fishing. Rick Ross in the house, how you doing? Wonderful. Wonderful. Yeah, this book of yours that came out very different than the other two.

Very different. What are you doing? What are you doing? Yeah, it's obviously from the outset when somebody watches you, your song, your hits, the stuff that you've had.

But I was not expecting for you to come out and talk about a midlife crisis in this book of yours that just came out. Well, I mean, it's good because it relates to everybody. You know, a lot of other people in business who go through it, they watch someone like you and they automatically think that you have everything figured out for somebody like

you to kind of open up and be vulnerable, it relates to everybody, especially in business. But the part that was the interesting thing for me, 100 car collection, is it true that you got your driver's license at 45? Let's say, okay, when I was 15, you get your little pre-drivers license, you know, then, you know, you are high school, you get your license, but my license expired after high school.

And I've never went and renewed them to, you know, a few years ago.

Got it. So you did get the license at 15, 16 years ago, but you didn't renew it. Yeah, in high school, I did the Lord drivers course, Paul, they gave you the, I forgot what they called it. Before you drive her license, you get some shit, you have said that 15 and then at 16,

they gave me my license, but I never renewed them, but I also went, you know, a long time but I was driving so. A long time with our drive, so literally you weren't driving. Yeah, a long time, you know, I was using drivers, you know what I'm saying? So you didn't need a driver's license?

I did, and that's what I felt, what was your first car by the way, what was the first

car you ever had? I mean, all right, Peter, my grandfather, he gave me a 76 caprice, you know, he understood the love I had for Chevy's at a young age. So, you know, he had him a little small collection, a little spot, what he used to work on cars at.

So, yep, I had a two, just like the blue one right here at what, yeah, 15, 16, 16 years ago. Yeah, first car. Did you get your drive and your, you know, competitiveness from your grandfather? Was he one that was, you know, also hustling or what did that drive come up?

He would out of doubt was a hustler, he would out of doubt, you know what I'm saying? He was from Clarksdale, Mississippi, and for you to have, you know, automobile, motor shop or something, you got to really be a go-getter. And was he tough with, was it a close relationship where he would tough in you up or, you

Know, what did the toughness come up?

No, he was really, he was really soft-spoken and really just shared that wisdom.

He really shared that wisdom. What did he share with you out of young age? No, just a lot of different games, told me a lot of different stories. Just a lot of different, if you're gonna be great, you gotta be great, you know what I mean? Just a lot of different, you know, okay, let me tell you like this, you could sit around

and you would hear stories like, yo, man, tell you how a big boy told him what they would do, a lot of people, let's say if you was a rich, you know what I'm saying? You would put a piece of paper right there on the floor, right? And if you, you have somebody come in and let's say if you interview them for something. Yeah.

And if they stepped over that paper, they wouldn't even, it's already done. What does that mean? I mean, if I got to tell you to pick that paper, you ain't on your egg and wow. Wow. So when you step into some place, if you see that, you gotta, as you go, you are already

on, make a move, wow. So that's that game you could get from somebody, if you were youngster, if you 12, 15 years

old and you listen and somebody that's 60, that's the type of game you get and that's what

I've absorbed and that's what I apply to the warehouse now. When did you know you were special, when did you know you had something special in you? How early? Like I knew something was different about you.

You know, it wasn't too early because at first I had to accept my weaknesses, you know,

when I first was in school, I, I damn now could remember the first day when they gave us a paper and pencil when we was tracing the letters, you know, I would be A, B, and C, I remember looking around when everybody else understood the instructions. The whole class, everybody else tracing the letters, A, B, and C, and I was looking around like, damn, I missed all of this.

So that's what I had to deal with the first beginning of my life, okay, I'm not good in math, I'm not this, okay, my strengths are reading and I love films, I love showing me something on the screen versus listening to this man talk in front of me, I have nothing

in common with these people in school in school and what great how early was that?

First grade. Oh, wow. I know it was a problem there. So who was feeding confidence into you? Because your grandmother, yeah, my mother, what would she say, how did, how did she develop

the child? They don't understand, you will, you, they don't understand you. I'm talking about the whole school, I'm telling me, you don't need to be in public schools. She's telling you this. No, the school, the principals, everybody else, you know, the people they send to your

house to sit down and talk with your parents, I'm trying to tell them it's something wrong with this individual, and she's saying, no, you're wrong. And you would see this exchange, she's having with them. Yeah, I've said it, you know, of course, wow, to put times. And I will watch her defend me.

You know who else was like that? The documentary of a Kanye when you watched the role of his mom played. His mom was also big on development confidence in him as well. I don't know if you saw the documentary with Kanye. I might have missed it.

Yeah, it was also similar thing where, you know, the role of mother plays in, in raising a son and what kind of concept. So, so you're getting that support now, when you go in the school, are you

you, you know, are you early on, rapping, are you playing sports?

What would a Rick Ross, if I was in fifth grade with your tenth grade with you, who was Rick Ross in fifth and tenth grade? I was the most definitely a class clown. I was a highly respected, I wasn't on no bully type vibe, you know, but I hit you with a two piece real quick, you know what I mean?

You know, you made a little piece of that pizza you eaten on, you know what I'm saying? But other than that, you know, I used to crack jokes and music was in my life by this time, because by this time, yeah, about a fifth grade, you know, I have, you know, friends now we, we got homies and one of my closest friends, his name was Avery Branch, wherever he had, I've been looking for him for the last few years, he's been featured on two or three

of my albums, but he had what his mom would do was like, you know, kids that had problems, she would adopt him. So, you know, it's almost like he had five or six big brothers in his crib, and they would do a music and everything else. So I was introduced, you know, through my homie, boom, to his big brothers and then we had

vinyl records, this, that, oh, so we're a rap group, yeah, y'all are rap group now, okay, so we're a rap group, she's so good. And so was that the first time you freestyle or what's the first time you freestyle, but you're

like, okay, this guy can't hang, you know, my freestyle skills was never like that.

I always wanted to put some thought into it, you know what I'm saying?

I had homies who would start just spitting, but that never really impressed m...

I'm saying the dudes I was listening to, they were saying things that was damn damn I'm blowing. So if I walked up to somebody and somebody was like, yeah, my kicks on, that's on, that's not you, nah, who'd you listen to in fifth grade? Like at that age, I was listening to everywhere, East Coast, West Coast, down south, it

didn't matter, because you got to remember by the time I'm in the fifth grade and I'm listening to two shorter, if it's easy, if it's in WWE, it's almost making me feel

like I've been LA, of course I've never been there, but this is why I could sit in my room

and imagine, yo, this is what LA like, the low riders, the cars, the paint jobs, the gold datings, corner stores. They're painting the picture of what LA is like through rap, do music, wow.

So you just turned, how would you, I just saw that you just had your 50th, right?

Just celebrated my 50th, 50th, happy birthday, happy 50th is a big deal man to go through it. I think after like 30, everything's by decades, you celebrate every 10 years, 40, 50, six, one, one, you fuck you, but if you're in fifth grade, fifth grade is what you're 10, 11 years old, so that's 39 years ago, 39 years ago is late 80s, got to be late 80s. So who's late 80s?

Because two podcasts and come out, yeah, late 80s. No, no, no, two podcasts and come out chat. So really it was about, it was about your MTV rap, right? You know, those videos, so after school, I went, so when we got out of school at 2, 30 minutes to get home, before your MTV rap came on, everything that was on there, I was

a fan of it. If it's East Coast, if it's tribe, call, quest, bust the rhymes, lead other news school, public enemy, LL, whatever it is, you know, I'm saying because I'm, I don't fell in love with it for the music, the creative expression, the fashion, everything, the videos, the art work, the graffiti, the cars, that shit grabbed me from everything.

It was like octopus. And it was a sudden like in fifth gradeish or was it was already gone from, you know, me first hearing music, what are, for me, there's three songs I listened to where I, you know, all of a sudden I had to stop. I'm like, I can't believe I'm hearing a voice like this.

But what was it for you, maybe one of hip hop songs where you listen to your like, this is just different than anything else I've ever done in my life, especially when you were young.

It was phenomenal, it was amazing, so growing up in my household, my mom played Johnny

Taylor every weekend, every time we was in the car, we listened to music. So I was just exposed the music from before I could even recall. So when you listen to my sounds that made back music live instrumentation, feeling that

expensive orchestra, feeling sound, that's what that comes from.

He listened to old soul from music, R&B, that was before I could even talk. So by the time rap music, you know, came in the play, it was, I understood and compliment them both, rap and R&B, of course. So right now, if I go through my play list right now, you at the top might be Fleetwood Mac, then it might go to God damn DJ quit, then it might go, you know, it's just anything

useful R&B or '90s R&B, everything, yeah, '90s R&B in my opinion was the best R&B. That's easily, I understand that, but it's easily debatable. What would you put comparable to the '90s R&B? It's like who do you put next to a leader, Baker, who do you compare from the '90s to that? When I think about the sound of 'Shodding, who could you compare?'

She's one of a time. She's one of a time. I wish she would perform more, but that's why when she does it, I read somewhere that she doesn't like, and I understand, she's one of those pure artists. Oh my God, we got to protect it with all of that.

Have you ever met her? Of course not. Or you haven't. Of course not. You answered it quickly.

Of course. Intentionally you don't want to meet her.

She doesn't really know, I've never met her.

Rosé would have had a collaboration with "Shodding" if I met her. Stop. I would have went and got her so much.

So would that be at the top of the list as a collaboration?

Of course, in human life, wow. That's the music, this what I'm trying to talk about, I grew up to beautiful sounds, sounds

That if you close your eyes, it's like you could see them in color, and that'...

does for me. I agree. What's your favorite "Shodding" song? I never thought we were going to talk "Shodding" today. That was not in my top 50 list today.

It's too many to list for "Shodding." To me, you could just go, "Shodding" is "Greater sits and let it go." I believe. I believe. Just leave that.

That's for anybody listening. I agree. You pull up "Shodding" as "Greater sits and fall back." Do you say "Wang" by "Wang"?

Never as good as the first time.

Cherish did what? What out of doubt? Never as the first time. Number one. "Wang" is the first time.

Never as good as the first time. Greater songs, right? Yeah. And I believe what she's telling me. But there was a part about her where she gets uncomfortable.

Every time she would announce a concert with "Shodding" like the first few minutes. Because the world wanted to watch her, "How many babies have been born to "Shodding?" So who would be your two on the list?

If "Shodding" is one who would be two or three that you haven't collaborated with yet?

Well, I have collaborated with Mary J. Blasbo, most definitely with "Shodding" does. What a need of "Baker" does. That's too easy. A need of "Baker" most definitely for "Rosey" is like, you know what I mean? It's different.

So I just listen to, you know.

You just listen to a need of "Baker"?

Yes, I listen to, you know, like I say, my playlist is different. But when I'm thinking of these voices and Rick Ross collaborations would out-of-down. "Shodding" is number one on a list of voice, her sounds. For her to do a concert, all she has to do is come out in the white gown, no shoes that you sit down, Indian style.

See, you already visualized them in the, oh, I can see, video, the collaboration. It's too easy, too easy, I see. I mean, if you're putting it out there, they're probably going to reach out to you. Oh my God. Have you ever reached out to her?

Oh my God. I would love to go get you a couple of marcha. [LAUGHTER] [LAUGHTER] That's true, he's true, even though we were smiling, I mean.

What was the movie that her song was a big hidden with Demi Moore and Robert Rettford? And he's in proposal. And he's in proposal. Have you ever seen a decent proposal?

Do you remember that movie 30 years ago?

I'm not sure. I remember the title, but that might have been out of rosé look 30 years ago. Yeah. He's in proposal. Yeah, there's a scene where, I mean,

the main song is Ordinary Loving the Movie and it's Shadee. It makes sense whoever scored the music was very smart. Yeah, yeah. Are you a movie guy as well? You watch a lot of movies?

I love movies. What do your favorite movies? Well, my favorite film Quentin Tarantino is my favorite director. So a reservoir dog's-- honor that kill girl.

Reservoir dog was the first one he did.

You know, he did it for 400,000 dollars, he got made like 20 million bucks on Reservoir

dogs. He made more than that. On Reservoir dog? Of course. Shadee was legendary.

Yeah, Reservoir dogs is phenomenal. I think about it. All he had was black and white suits on the whole time. I don't know. In a warehouse?

Yeah. In a warehouse. Crazy. So my sister's husband is trying to impress my dad. So he comes over to the house.

He says, "Oh, I got a movie from Blockbuster. You picked a movie." And he brings Reservoir dogs. I don't know if you've seen Reservoir dogs rap. I mean, it starts off with 400, 400 F bombs, and might that's like, what kind of a

son-in-law brings a movie like this for the first time to impress me?

He was smart. He was smart. He was smart. He was smart. He was smart.

He was smart. He was smart. He was smart. He's smart, man. Number six says.

So Quentin Tarantino would out of doubt. Who else? I know you've called yourself Renzel. So are you a Denzel guy or-- Oh, Denzel, most definitely.

Favorite Denzel flick. You know, number one. Is he one of the guys or whatever movie does you just watch? It's most ever. I mean, we've watched some of you a young man all the way to, he's, you know, 70 years

years old. Still, you know, having fights on the trains and fighting the mafia, you know, hits. There's not many people that could pull that off and you actually enjoy watching it. Yeah. I can.

I enjoy it. I don't know if he's acting. Like, I think Denzel was one decision away from being a very different person than his life. Somebody got a hold of him early.

Oh, he makes it clear to him. He's been very open and about open about the life he lives.

It's made to ZL be Denzel, that is age and still be the equalizer.

You are mother fucker. Yeah.

It's one of them are better than the other one.

I love him. Yeah. American gangster. Two might be my favorite. Two.

Yeah, equalizer. Two may be my favorite. Yeah. It's two of the one where he walks up to the guys that took advantage of the girl and walks upstairs to their room and knocks on the door and gives a card and one

that's two. Yeah.

Two was, these were revenge when he was the Uber driver.

When he was the Uber driver. Yeah. That's two. I confused it with one and two. Yeah.

Two is intense. Like it's you know, you know, still the guy

Rosé that does the revenge movies. What's the guy's name that's taken?

What is the guy's name? Oh, he just he's revenge movies. Yeah, he had another 75 year old at a kick in the door. Yeah, kill eight mother fuckers, right? You know, allegedly he's with Pamela Anderson out. So they're they're I don't know if you heard about that. Pamela smart. Tell me why

It's important. You got to be smart. Yeah, so Pamela smart. Oh my gosh. He smart shot out to the smart woman

She one time did an interview was a very weird interview, but you know, I was her son as I think sitting next to her at the time He was 28 and she's talking about how At the peak of it when she would go and date guys and they would have sex as if they learned how to have sex through porn And she said she had to tell men this is not how I like to have sex. I want you to have sex with me I don't want you to think this was a porn movie, so

She said their influence of porn has on young men confuses than what women actually like What do you think about that? I think that was like I said she smart she was expressing herself. She wanted to be direct on what she wanted So she wanted to make sure she enjoyed herself instead of someone just joy riding around and she not enjoyed I like that that was a great idea. Yeah, yeah, it's an interesting

Perspective but when she's you know with a boss, you know, you do shot color and Liam's the boss Hope you're saying you yeah, yeah, what other that mean so shot colors whatever the shot color says is what we're doing Oh most definitely even though she's gonna be fine. You're gonna be happy baby Have you ever met Pamela Anderson or no? I don't recall I've been to a few you know

Rare Carpus this and that Rose, your your book. It's it's slightly different. It's You know it opens up with you know the flight Your you know going through a midlife crisis you're going through a challenge at the time

So you know maybe share a little bit of the inside of what got you to point of realizing you're going through midlife crisis What events let to that because you've made the money? You've had the house you've had the cars a lot of them. You've traveled you've had hits after hits after hits You know a source manager you're back to back nine Grammy nominations You know you live in one of the biggest houses with 350,000 gallon pool if I'm not mistaken

When the biggest pulls on America the one in Atlanta you've lived the big life so at what point do you say

After all this I'm hitting midlife crisis how does that happen that's when your life is not based on

Your achievements none of the swimming pools the 300 acres that isn't what you For myself based my life for my level of success or That that doesn't determine what I'm satisfied with so when you a person like myself who still has that That fire burning You still have to be creative and creative in a way where you've challenged your greatest work

So that's what you me talking about A rut or a midlife crisis coming in that that's me creating music and You know where music was at at that time, you know, it was a lot of more rapper singing In rappers rapping the sounds the melodies the production the eight awaits the drums, you know, I love heavy rap music, you know, this is expensive dope boy music that Ricky Rose, I you know, I've wrapped foot of ones that want to you know that

Plus life style That's the music that I was making in that the time it felt like the the game Was it ready for that so that's when I began challenging myself and what

Can I create that the streets is going to appreciate and so that's what a book coming to play at and you know

I'm releasing my album June 12 next month said in stone Because I put together a body of work that's going to challenge every album I've ever released

Body that's going to be tough.

Or I would not have released it. That's what I'm talking about

For myself. I don't want to I could just rap if I wanted to but I'm not here for that Rose a boss, you know, and I'm saying this is legacy So when I say sad and stone it's not just Paper and pin notice it's something that be discussed Hundreds of years from now where Ricky Rose they do

What is the 50-year-old Ricky Rose a note that the 30-year-old or the 40-year-old didn't know What a 50-year-old Rose ain't no way you're on a hell of a pace. You know I'm saying you're gonna hit a bill You know what I'm saying the 40-year-old Rose a was just understanding what it's like to be wealthy Now how do you grow from there what's next?

Okay, you have a

A state with a hundred bronze with the largest residential pool on 300 and where do you go next?

These are all the questions that myself. I'm going down the list and challenge them myself Okay, that's when I bought another piece of property on Star Island

For 37 million put another 25 million in it. I had two offers of of a hundred million before was even completed

Right across the street from me can't grip and build in something worth a billion So once again is we're talking about investments How do you elevate that's with the music that's with the brands look better potato chips the books Everything that I'm doing. I want to challenge myself. So that's where I came to us no more just being comfortable Being known as a top five

Larissa's in the game now. Let's let's go let's go higher

So next is a billionaire status for you. That's the next phase. What are the down?

What excites you at this phase? What what gets you out of it at this phase? You got the money. You got the house. You got the cars. What excites you now? Of course man Once again, it's the challenges I'm loving I'm accepting I was just with the Miami Dolphins. I help roll out the the schedule this year's schedule So we filmed a lot of content. I met you know the coaches the team the staff the players this and added

You know hopefully one day I become a minority owner in the Miami Dolphins. Oh really why not okay We thinking big right? Yeah, that's good. Okay. That's good. I think I think uh NFL the CFO's a good friend of mine of Miami Dolphins Chris. He's a Ricci Rosé ready. I'll text him right now, I'm gonna. Chris. Chris. Chris. You want to be a minority Chris. Yeah. Let's just text him right now. Yeah, I'm gonna do it right now. Let him know Rose.

Got the money. Okay. So Chris this is a Patrick bit David. I got a friend of mine that says he wants to be a friend of mine of the softens a guy named Rick Ross. Rick Ross shout out to Chris. They go Chris. He may want to reach out and become a minority owner I know you guys we got about the last time anyway. So minority owner of a

Dolphins. Oh man. That excites you. It excites me. Okay. All right. Favorite sport. I never imagined being a water boy

behave with the him for the Dolphins. Yeah, they I think there is seven billion dollar

organization valuation wise. They wouldn't take yeah he bought it for a billion in oh nine. What is it? Okay, there was about 111% of that 12 and a half billion out of valuation today. So 1% on 12 and a half. No, let's let's start at 3%. So you want 3%. Yeah, let's start at so you need 375 million for that. Okay. We 3%. Okay. So that's that's a good start right there now. Would you want to be involved? Would you want to be actively involved decisions, you know, players? Rose, I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I entered check myself

into the involvement. That's too easy automatically. What? You think I'm gonna walk around and be involved? What would you say? What advice? Okay, so who do you like any? Would you say let's go get XYZ? Let's go get this is that how you involve you when it's your you're seeing more marketing. You know everything Rose, I got a few ideas. Let's be great. Any players you like current players? Why not? What do you like today in the NFL? The Dolphins. Play your wives.

Okay, so anything with the Dolphins. Anything pro Dolphins, I'm glad you caught that. Chris. All right. So you're you're you also know the political game. You're you're uh, no, I don't I know the Dolphins. You know the Dolphins.

Are you an OG Dolphins fan like you know Dan Moreno a big term.

And you met Thomas are you what's that Thomas is a stud of a legendary 54 right was he 54 I think 54 legend that just some the other day at

We were doing a trick or treat on Halloween. He's okay. Are you pvd? That's it. I'm I said wait. Are you exact Thomas by the way. He stole looks

The same as that. He's still look how old is he if he two years old. He still looks the same Yeah, stud of a guy. He that guy would run around tackling. Everybody was frightened of this guy. Now you're wrong baby elephant. Why not. Yeah, so

By the way, are you fully move back to Miami or are you still going back to Georgia? I know I got real estate in a few other states, but Miami is always been the spot

So over 180 days you spend more in Miami without a doubt Is that tax purposes or is it because this is because it's the sunlight. Yeah, it's the ocean It's the breeze The alkaline air Yeah, you can keep selling it, by the way. This is you know it's an easy place to sell. Thank you

Do you tell me the alley? You sound like you could run for a governor one day and it's so flooring and you're not going to make some things and they're not interested in it Let's get to three first 3% and so go go back to early on over time a fifth grade 10th grade

So first time because when I see the story

in 06 or 07 everybody was bidding for you before your song came up Like it was a lot of people who understood My direction but once I released every damn hustling That's when the bidding war turned all the way up. So the bidding war is after every damn hustling. Thanks, got it And and who did they like what was it was so the leverage for you was the fact that you earned the moral authority that I got ahead

Because you made 200,000 and I just hit this is one of the biggest records out of year without a doubt in the streets felt that immediately How quickly the life changed for you was it an overnight thing? Yeah without a doubt and with the wreckage Soon as the wreckage came out I understood that's when every executive in the industry reached out directly How did they treat you before it? How did they treat you after it? Well, you know It wasn't a way they treated me before it because we had no communication

You know, I was just an independent local Miami artist The day I release every damn hustling maybe two weeks later at the most I spoke to the top 10 executives in the industry What did they tell anyone to call on you we want to do business with you open ended right then what do you need this is what this is an

Oh eight oh six oh six so who the players at the time that there is a leor is a is a coin?

Who's leor without a doubt leor, but I I allowed leor to manage me for a year Just because of the conversations we were having in oh six facts So who else called who would have he wasted for everybody time while he time in Matollah And they leave the local here now. Yeah, shut up the time in Matollah. That's my guy LA read time in Matollah who was the most agey? Well

You know, I was pretty I was pretty Frank you know straight up I want the moon y'all who's coming with the most money baby

And the first conversations we began at seven figures and then just from now you know

I went met met a few people When I sat down with LA reading Jay-Z Where some pieces should kill Stuart

That's why I closed the deal at dev jail

Did they pay more than anybody also that they sell the dream back oh everybody had the it was clear while ultimately was gonna stop at it was about the money but everybody I made it clear what But I needed as in support wise and what my plan was music wise And I just wanted them to understand this is not just a one record one off type of thing I'm gonna have a classic album them my second album is gonna be this way

So I need it everybody to see the vision this ain't just one record. I know how that shit go This is why I'm hot. This is what you know all those records came and went no this ain't that

This big boy heavyweight shit

And I made that Who was who was most impressive to you where you said man after money was there I may have gone with them Or was your mind made up? I'm gonna go with Jay-Z. I'm gonna go with uh no Everybody that I sat warm with I had an open door you know, I mean we have in conversations we talking business We talking um

Just moves You know how we gonna make this happen was anybody super like what was did anybody's approach was anyone's approach So memorable they remember till today or really all the same way Because you're the guy everybody wants at the time. So they have without their unique presentations

Everybody did that's what I'm saying everybody came the way they wanted to come but let's say she killed Stuart

Jay-Z LA re we spoke a lot more than just music You know they understand you see the potato chips you see the champagne is you know Of course music was the priority but I just made it clear this wasn't gonna be regular Did I know it would be 20 years later and we would be having this conversation of course And I but I knew it this wasn't gonna be a one-hour thing

Did anyone say anything that turned you off we'd like I'll never do business with those guys

Not really Not really because I was just focused on the on the things that I wanted and I'm sure a lot of people I understand it. I'm sure when I went into flew out the Cali and walked in the time while he mentioned I'm sure he was like you know this motherfucker might be crazy because I am born in line delusion of course I am and if you come in from Miami and your record is

Every damn hustling and you telling them I'll fuck a y'all right off the rip y'all needs seven figures I mean you're living room and then I'm Eat not your snack bar Told me a drink, you know, it's rosé and they can need some tequila I'm sure

Days was y'all Yeah, you got red by yeah Was did he one of them as well that was uh Because it was everybody at the time. It was everybody at the time without a doubt one of my homeboys big block He had a deal with diddy for bad boy south

And I was on a record they released that's young jeezy and Boys in the hood he had released to album boys in the hood and I was on one of the records on boys in the hood

So that's what did he heard you know her and my skills and they cuz was really hearing my flow

It wasn't about popularity. It was really about talent. We didn't have social media So they they playing your records. Let me hear what you're talking about And once everybody heard me

Shit, I was popping they understood this was heavyweight not when when your first release and

Every damn hustling who owned it who owned that one that's specific track well The producers was the runners my homeboy Josh Josh Burke shut out the Josh Burke. He was Working along with Ted Lucas and slippery slide records. I had signed a deal with slippery slide records And so he brought me to beat for every damn hustler and then night I wrote the first verse train. I had a show in Tampa. I drove up the Tampa just to play that record

And I wrapped the first verse and I just remembered a look that I got from this one individual A guy looked in me and he had his mouth open and he was just like Damn do it again And that's when I wrote the second verse went home and recorded it a week later. I released it So independently yourself. Yeah, I'm still just it's you know slip and slide it independent record label, but you know

I've recorded it

Release it and shit everybody had to catch up at that point. What's the spread in the split and the revenue at the time?

I don't even recall what the split was Because at that time I understood it wasn't based on the split other percentages then because I was just getting in the door I just wanted to lock them in and make them commit to supporting and invest in just a little bit And I knew once I was once I released a music that I was capable of making the big money

A come in the play so that first song when Jay-Z and those guys came and signed you did they get that song or the first song that's owned by someone else

No, it was owned by me and slip and slide records got it till today And it's still given you revenue every year that song Do you have an idea what that specific song 20 years later is making shit? No, it's still a hit It's still shakes the arena. It's still shakes. Oh yeah, it's one of the states. It sounds about time Yeah, it's not even close, but once you accumulate a catalog like mine is you're not just looking at one record

You're just looking at the overall

You know so so pre so pre that song coming out. Do you at the time have money in the bank?

Are you you know you at least have a hundred thousand on the bank? You have fifty thousand on the back or not yet?

I was most definitely you know it that's when I was right around hustling doing my thing I have my BMW I have my crib already two story crib garage, you know just you know I was doing my thing But most definitely Once I released the record I got the deal seven figures up front didn't that entire year I was doing shows three shows a day five days a week stop it. Yeah, and I was just stacking my money

Three shows a day five days a week. I was on goal good for you everywhere One of me to stop by if I got booked in St. Louis there will be a someone else Can you stop by here before then could you come by here after that? Can you come now at rest or why will I have you? Would you come eat some spaghetti with us we give 15 pages to have a plate of spaghetti Take the pictures and good, you know just all of that so

That first yeah, I'm went crazy. I stacked my money

What's the what's the first big thing you bought and what's the one thing you bought that was the first dumb purchase you made You know my whole thing was I like the dump lumps in the real estate You know that was some game like I said my mom been gave me that type of game so of course

I always spent money. I always endorsed and jewelry and you know whips and cars, but for me it was it was

Believe it or not Variable investments valuable investments right. I got returned from my jewels it was it became one of those things people were Pay me to come and they it's almost like they just wanted to look at me and take a picture of me like Yo, this shit is really real you know them saying and then when I get the rosé did you wear that The dye they've drained the distance. You know it's almost like yo

It was different it was different it was different. I was a different situation before every day

I'm hustling who knew in Miami That there's something that's gonna happen with you I mean cuz Miami's got names as well. It's got a lot of good names that came out of here Who knew there's something special about it before? Every day I'm hustling before. Yeah, look new DJ Khaled knew if you was a local rapper if you was a local artist

They knew the big boy in the city is rosé Now was the is the country ready for this is the rap game ready for this because once again We come from you know a party city beats that's 130 miles bitches got on bikinis Be you know just all at that shit and I'm talking about getting money I'm talking about real estate. I'm talking about mansions

I'm saying I want jets and shit. I want to do a lot of different investments Which was you know a lot different from the norm would you say if Biggie would have lived on He would have been a dream selling rapper instead of like correcting and injustice like Tupac Cuz Tupac talked about the problems biggie sold the dreams. You know, they both to me They both you know, they both was the great said the end of the spectrum and they balanced the game out

You know, we both they both made it clear with the value of family was also what wealth was like Big most definitely you know painted that image in that picture Those Versace button ups and you know, but at the end of the day, it's about wanting to get it So they both was telling you to go and get it

You got to invest in yourself. You got to make it happen. I mean Tupac apparently never really made money when he was doing it

He made some money, but apparently he never made Uh a lot of money at the time hip hop was different. Yeah, you know what was unfortunate to me was the fact that they both were really with kids, man You know you 23 years old 24 years old, you know, and I'm speaking for both of them you understand You lose your life. You didn't give you you they both for priceless If they both live the long healthy life, they both would be I'm talking about is unbelievable how much money they generated

Multiple billions both up billions of billions of billions. It's a good point because yours first was 30 So probably at that time your uh you know how the game is played and how people get taken advantage So you're probably tougher to take advantage of them maybe they were you most definitely got to learn It's not one that's which you when it's you it's time to talk about you know record deal this that this that It's no one you know you just got to

Stress the important things that you You know you you're you're gonna provide the studio you're gonna do this for me You know just be ready and in my mind I already know you know I'm gonna get a major label to come step into and take over this

It's um and we're gonna text them

The local label is cool. I get it. I get it. I get it so that 30k advance for six albums I wasn't tripping I get it What I'm gonna do is I'm gonna stir and create so much disruption and create so much value at a big boy It's gonna come in and say you're across boom. We don't get you five million Which you want to do

Who's who was it who was in your ear who was whispering in your ear? Hey, be careful They're gonna try to do this. Hey, ask for this What the money roll roll nobody really nobody cared about this shit

It was about the music did for one first and foremost before the record deal even important

Do you really have something that's valuable right or you will be like the other thousands of artists who get record deals in six months later

You never heard for right again. You don't have to one head wonder. Yeah, and even the ones that never had one hit

You get a record deal, but you don't have one hit now You were fortunate the one hit wonders were fortunate that they had one hit I know so many people that got signed they never had a hit now you just move on So now that's the focus when you're a young artist it wasn't even about the record deal I want to make get a fucking record

Hmm, and I want to create a record that the fucking world wants to hear so so you are both on the talent side and you're also You're a triple threat because you have the personality you got the business experience and you're a talent So Jay-Z is one. There's not too many of you guys that you Also have a new year. What's the reason when we that came up by Denzel Where he he was known as having a best ear in the game right? He was the CEO in the game right. It was a sat rocky in the

Right a separate I was to film maybe a mo was a cult what was it called? It's highest to lowest yet which by the way Interesting because you know And and he talks about how he's But he was not a guy that was a talent. He was just an ear. He would be able to see it so for you an executive and executive exactly So how much of it

is Personality how much of it is talent?

How much of it is connections how much of it is work ethic how much of it is your fashion?

How much of it is your look? What what would you rank it when you look at somebody and say this is a guy I'm because you've had who you've had french Montana You've had a lot of guys right right right what do you look for? I think first and foremost for me was most value boot of me is How dedicated are you are you willing to work 15 hours a day

when it's time to Are you willing to do that because you could have the fashion you could have the style you could have the music But if you're not really dedicated they won't last You know how many all this that's talented and gifted and they're going

They're going and why is that? You gotta have a consistent Understanding that passion as the burn because when I first got in the game I wasn't the most talented. I wasn't the most this

I wasn't first in this. I was never the perfect this that this that known but what I was was the ultimate hustle

We not gonna stop until we get this done. We not gonna stop until we make this shit amazing We gonna stay here until this shit sounds like it's

Yeah, so that's what separated me from the others

So that's what I look for when it's time for me to really appraise another artist or look at another artist and the gift and you know how consistent are they how long does it take for you to realize that's got it or not not long What we look for I mean once you present yourself You know that's what I mean for this to music this to this this to this Okay, then the rest of the questions come way to do you have the video to go in it social media on go is

You have a team is it just you by yourself is you know, are you already generating income can you buy your own outfits Is that ever it's a long live you asking all those questions. No, it's just no you have the I have to see Rose, they don't got time action That's just like if you walk into the room and you step over the paper on the floor if you're not gonna pick it up and make it make the situation better It's no need for you. I'm not accent. You not that got it. I have to see it. Are you calling around as well to learn about the

No, I got to see it. I got a feeling the streets gotta call me So who's the biggest risk you took on Shit everybody it's all a risk

Because you never know who's going to really break who's going to really pop who's going to really work

You might sign a

Super talented individual and guess what he has twins on the way now and

He doesn't have time for the studio. He doesn't have time for the interviews the podcast that this did that

Guess what it's called it's overform Unless he goes improve when it was

But you have to be totally dedicated to this

You watch a game last night with Wemby and Okay, see I did what you think about Wemby last night It was cool It was cool You're not a I'm assuming you're not a senator on your fan like that's not your team

You're probably a heat fan I thought so as well. Would you think about that three the three he hit from the I don't know if you saw the three he hit and over time worn you know fourth quarter when be all the way from the Logo you see that or no. I missed it. Oh, let me tell you he hit this he walks up and he just hits it And they interview him afterwards

Okay, right can you pull up the interview afterwards would Wemby and there's a reason why I'm asking this question By the way, the CF already responded And he says small world actually sat with his son at Super Bowl several years ago

The social media the other day was incredible he even made Stephen Ross very funny

Okay, I have found my friend God bless. So there you go. So I don't know what that means, but Yeah You know what he's talking about You're texting again I just want to let you know he wants to talk about 3% of

The dolphins that's what he wants to talk about. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. All right, so I'll put you guys in contact

So there's an interview that he does and I want to get your take on this when be after the game There's a question they ask them Yeah, that's the one right there. Okay. Can you make that bigger up and then turn out to go forward When we set out to create a shoe that blends comfort Function and luxury we had the choice to make it fast

We had the choice to make it cheap We chose knife and instead we chose tusk in Europe We chose true time craftsmanship each pair touched by 50 skilled hands We chose patience spending two years perfect in every detail and we chose the finest quality at every step Introducing the future looks by collection

Not rushed Not disposable not ordinary rather intentional

luxurious timeless Your mind at all knowing that shade got that award and you were in the top three for it and you know Any part of tonight feel personal I'd have some of your facial expressions kind of Look like you were really really going for it

Yeah, sure I think you just said so if that was in your mind at all So this guy had a chip because they gave me a MEP yesterday to SGA And he had a pretty good season how much does a chip Play a role and a guy willing to go until he gets what he wants or you don't think there's a and when you say chip what exactly do chip on a shoulder like you're coming up and somebody didn't believe in you

somebody said no to you you know someone who Maybe due to favoritism got something that you felt you were doing better How much does that chip like right here when be feels like he's the best player in the world and he wants to keep getting better

Dirty champions he's the two time MVP but he responds this way to say look that was at an end later on He says I'm gonna I plan on winning a lot of MVP trophies of my career, but he wants to be a champion right now So the DNA how do you read the DNA of a guy that's willing to pay the price and he's super competitive well when be most definitely

Played a major role and then pulling it off without a fucking doubt so he's um exemplified him really wanting to chip him really wanting to be great, but once again just like all ladders of success he has a lot more to prove Everyone we step in this going to be people in that same room that doubt you Regardless of how many points you shoot, how many don't you make you know

because the same way he hit that three and over time those couple finger rolls he missed those Caruso took a steal from you know It's a lot of people that's gonna focus on that so you still got to prove yourself To everybody that's sitting back watching and most definitely when you own a global platform

That's what it is. This is a competitive game. It's called life

Who's the first big name that targeted you when you started getting momentum?

Who's still because you know there's a lot of beef and and wrap and you've had many of them you've had 50 cent Drake It wasn't no one ever really targeted me it was

It's a good chance I initiated it got it.

Have you ever read the book 40 laws of power? I have

I know Robert Green personally great guy. He's a friend

He's just posted my new book that I just released for me. Thank you Robert most definitely Yeah, I mean so do you think there's a lot of that going on in hip hop 40 laws of power the things he talks about it may be a little bit of it But it'll be a lot more success. It'll be a lot more wealth if it was really focusing the way they should What do you mean? I mean it's a lot of it's a lot of fucked up things going on. It's a lot of losses being made in hip hop of course

Life period but most definitely a hip hop. We see people going to prison every day We see people losing their lives every day Let's talk about getting to the money what they laws of power Planned by the rules being great so you have a rare combination because early on a lot of you know when the story came out You were a correctional officer for what the 18 months or whatever you did 16 months

No, I was shit much less than that but whatever the story was that shit

They have for billion late, man half a billion late, yeah

But you have a street life and you have a little bit of that how does that happen? That's rosé being a hustler It's not many people that could understand it I think I actually can because There's an element of understanding the law if you go to it was that the intention originally not it

Just hustler Just hustler I mean like I read somewhere that you were making 23,000 20,000 as a As a correctional officer so it's not like it was pain very well Oh, man, I'm not living

And you know that's how hustlers respond in that

It's much deeper than rap, baby Much much deeper than rap Tell me more tell me when you say much deeper than rap I'm laying you know that's how hustlers abolished like myself responding that it's not much more to even say They miss that part of my life. They missed it the part about the hustler. Oh, man

It's too easy Which which part that they missed it or the life was to ease? Oh, they most definitely missed it Now what they could do is listen to the music they could read the books and just close their eyes and just imagine What it was like oh, man, what it most definitely got it and how how important is The game of hip hop. I came up in LA I lived in LA 20 something years for so for me my

Hip hop was Arbio Pasi rapping for Tay two short Master ace. I don't know if you remember master ace. Yeah, and see right right It was

Master ace yeah, he's phenomenal. It was who's the first Mexican rapper that got a half a million dollars from

Sugar the east side rendezvous. What was his name? I got I can't look kid frost. I don't know if you remember kid frost I do remember kid it was a lighter shade of brown if you remember lighter shade of brown maybe you don't it was it was these guys and on the R&B side it was you know This is La Rasa Joe to see yeah, this is for La Rasa. That's right. That was a great hit There was almost how how big of a role does it play? That you you have street credit that you You've had that life. How big of a role does that play?

I think first and foremost the music is the most important part because these you know the

I can only imagine I don't see really a lot of street in the ones that's making the music they could discuss it you know speak on behalf of that what a farm they city they said that but as far as the music

First and foremost now what goes on behind the scene and how you move are you really a boss are you really

You know strong enough to be able to make these moves in the streets accepted You know that's something totally different That's some totally different. So the street accepts The street credit or not The streets for me will most definitely play a role in

streets

You understand the streets gonna play a role in the streets and

If you are artists first and foremost your music your craft and your gift is was most important

How far you go after that that's between you and the streets

Rosé who did who did you meet in the game because you give me the vibes of a very driven competitive guy Yeah, who did you meet in the game where you said these are the five real OG players these are the guys I'll be competing with the next couple decades You know for me in the way I move I necessarily don't even pit myself against or compete in against

The legends so to me that's like me saying I would compete against a big I would never do that

I don't see us. I would never compete against park. I would never compete against jz I would never compete against you know look records and no kind of aspect because That's why I got the game from You know what I'm saying that's the love and the respect that I have but Anybody else

It's not really nobody that's on my level for me to go against It's nothing to go against no nobody at your level. No, so you're given the praise to jz to The ones who raised me the ones who who showed me the game Yeah, I'm saying yeah, you had the ones who I I really absorb the most game from You know what I mean when I was listening to the two short wrecking you know when I run into these dudes when I

I just I just announced yesterday that scoffice is performing at my car show

June 13th it's like scoffice. I would never go against scoffice

I you know he got 20 records out I listen to all of them. I bought them all They need do something with two pack of course. I got keys coming from overseas right costs no no That's all eyes on me with two pack, but

What's the song that you pack what they most that for? Oh, I remember the song what's the song with him in two pack

Wrap can you pull up the song scoffice did with two pack the moment I heard a lyrics. I know which one it is smile smile a smile is that the one that's the one wow because they did a couple of them right fix

That's 97 30 years ago So Scott so so so you would you consider yourself a fan of the game as well like you said Listen to his so who do you listen to who are people that you listen to that maybe they're even current players I just told you my playlist is the old School is where is just the dope classic? You know, I just mentioned I mentioned DJ quick earlier

So from the west coast to the east coast off course all down south But like did you listen to Andre 30 thousand outcasts of course? That's crumbling nerve You can't it's nobody that could not listen in outcasts none of them So that's right about them still guys that album was just it's not one of the stars anyone So you just just play it just let it go and it just you can listen to every song of course

trick daddy That's everything my playlist dropped from thumbs up My shit is rosacea special I just myself is your playlist public or is it a private playlist? I don't even know you got to make a playlist public Of course

Is this PM don who is this?

Wow, you know what's my what a great song so amazing

You know what's my favorite PM don song it's not that one the other one What's this when you're playing it seems like I'm on and for you know music lovers like myself I was young when I heard this and realized there was a no No kicks no drums. It was just a loop. Uh-huh I don't even know if it's produces that no

You got to make your playlist public My kids love the song phenomenal song the kids The guy remember the guy the skateboard guide with this guy. I don't know if you know which one I'm talking about that Sam right

The he's drinking the grape juice or what drink was he drinking?

What a great song. This rosacea playlist 80s could for you wow Phil Collins Yeah, Phil Collins just did me just turn 80 I just saw something about Phil Collins turned 70 or 80 something like that age 76. Yeah, 75 this is all this is my recent play

This ain't recently search this ain't this list that I'm playing from this is...

Yeah, this what I'm smoking around to on the way here

Post well that like rain

So the rosacea playlist is my musical happiness different. It was your top five top five all-time rappers

Big part Jay-Z Trick daddy trio five Miami without a doubt. He spoke for the you know He spoke for the get off course and we could you know we could debate that It's the weeds was your fifth you put nausea now you put I'm on drain there or I'm gonna put um I'm happy to say no's without a doubt

It was five yeah when I say no's not spoke for that

Military street that wise young hustler

You know I'm saying he was fly with it getting to the money young You know I mean so it's a lot of things that go with when I say top five and when I say it my top five used to change every week

When I'm smoking good and what I'm feeling like so

It is like that you have a top five 80s not even rap just 80s Music because you just played an 80 song. I played a lot of 80 song. Yeah You go EPMD when you go rock can when you you know it's just it's so difficult for me Because when I smoke and I lay back as shit is all magical cool to me Smagical and a lot of different ways

Rosé the history with you and 50 is it better now you guys now friends like do you guys talk now or is it still No relationship It's a nice alley hoop you just do me but you're gonna take it or you're gonna pass it back oh I'm a win by I'm a win by I'm a win by yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah I'm a win by I'm a bitch for you

No It's a big business I've had a big money You know I get none of that We're $1,500 up a soul pay me and shit. I shouldn't have Never collaborated together. No, I'm sure he would love the rosé vibe

I'm sure I told you I'm a win by him I just bitch for I'm a job for the free to that by the way that would there ever be a You ever saw the interview with Shack and Kobe together you remember the one where they sat across from each other I think Shack a magic did moment with Isaiah where I say it cried at the end

What do you craft for? Because you know Isaiah was upset about some of the things that magic said and he felt like he was Cut from the 92 dream team that whole thing, you know It makes that dream because I'm my question. That was a special dream. Yeah, that was the greatest shit I've been put together. You ever seen this moment with Kobe in Shack? No

Will there ever be a time where rosé will do a sit down with 50 No, this is a nice that little go ahead finish. I'm a win by y'all. No. I'm a I'm a mother fucking Shack this bitch for you go ahead finish with it ever happened with you and 50 sitting down having a conversation

I think the world would watch that the first thing I would want to know is what is that a talk about?

This is this is a big business you guys are a part of you guys are too heavy weights in the business I mean what is that a talk about a lot of things to talk about history to be what kind of history that he can dress that's all I used to tell him yo you can't dress You're not really getting no money. You know on your masters m&m saved you Dr. Drake saved you all the big names rosé did it itself I came in through slip and slide. I had to build this myself

And I'm not I'm not speaking down on because he live in a two-bedroom apartment, but he lives in a two-bedroom apartment Two-bedroom cast a alley hoop now got a one-bedroom apartment. Yes, he does and if he does what does that say about them come on now. I'll just the alley hoop Come on now. What does it say about her? You're saying 50 lives in a two. He just did a big documentary on did he that blew up? It was a number one documentary for like a week. He just they just used him there put his name on that give them 10k and that's it

He don't own any of that you think he's taken 10k for that documentary What you thought he was getting for power was google the google the actors that was in power they spoke up They was they was getting minimums shit is rough He's taking me. Yeah, that TV shit is crazy Oh my what they say

Yeah, what did he say you let me know this you're alley you now don't let me down

Rob you can't let me down Rob now pass me to you.

Ten's 10 grand come on man. I do know they said they don't pay a lot and this show go a little bit lower Rob notice they talking about the power pay complaints During his emergency ease of the finale's and all that Come on man

That was a nice alley. You think you think the markets opened right now for a hit them up 2.0

Hit them up like what like what two poked it with that the disc track that this track that

Change the game when that I think I think no it's not the like that there's in that space because big and

Two park were both on that same level Right now it wouldn't even be exciting because you know you don't put 50 at your level of course not He's a man. Yeah. Would you put Drake at your level? No You you're not putting Drake at your level. No, see you might be I could see it in your eyes you might be confused With the numbers and all of the fake numbers flood the market place 50 so that should ain't nothing

Remember what I told you the streets are the streets If Drake was what he thought you you what you think he was or what he thought he was he would have been able to clear all his shit up address it and been moved on He's still so in the labor that's like him. He might sue you for speaking of him on his situation. He might sue you might send you a season to say This is nice alley. Oh, that's a nice alley. Let him know. When if it does, I'll definitely text you and I'll say we got to share the legal feast together

Because you we would share legal feast together. We got the same lawyer No, no, we won't man. He might sue you He's so looshing rage what a looshing say I'm not sure the looshing is a heavy weight Looshing is uh, I know but he's got a little bit dark when you dis certain people and they can't deal with it emotionally They're embarrassed they're humiliated. That's when they sue all of these people to listen to iSman then the new

I listened to some of it which was horrendous What he gave it 0 to 10 oh man. It was Mean pitchfall gave it. I said it was me admit five pitchfall gave it a full point something. No, but it was like No one's my friend You left me alone

No, man. Is that type of shit Got to be a boss or your man. So nothing that would be in your new playlist that you were showing was it anything in my Respected and here all of them. I don't know if you got a you know, but have you personally listened to every single one of the Tracks and the new album? No, I couldn't do it. You couldn't do it. No, by which one did you stop? I should make it to fibers. I'm not sure you got to realize when it was going

It's music people that's or my teen that's I allowed them to be a you could be a Drake fan if you like it's music. I don't not going to take no, I don't but

We not own that type of shit. Listen to it if you want to listen to it

And I had people that listen to it By the fifth song they came out they was like down It's shit white and they went back in listen to it. I'm like it's not nothing that's dope You you don't hear nothing like jazzy in a lishy keys really the new. You know, I say you don't hear none of that

You know this is my fuck who always bringing up Michael Jackson what a Billy Jean that what a thriller

What a and

My home is actually sat there.

Yeah, are they recovering? Yeah, trauma trauma stuff It is it's tough. Yeah, but when you when you've been waiting after you seeing people put ice blocks in the middle of places And promoted and marketed in the world knew what day it was coming out and the shit came out in

Really no phone. How is it a performing on the charts rap?

Who I'm not tracking how ice man. I'm not sure forming on the chart. Rosano. Yeah, well, let's see

Ice man recorded 140.2 million first-day Spotify streams officially making the biggest album debut

In 2026 so far the figure has a place immediately pressure on competitors and said a new benchmark for opening Drake's Janice Shut up as reach number one on album music said that shows it's doing okay That showing it's doing pretty good I don't know what you read but do me a favor and pull up Spotify let's go to the real stream

Pull up Drake's Spotify. I don't that didn't even have a logo which was just reading So you might be an ice man fan. I'm not I'm not listening to it just so you know Okay, so how do you go to see where it's ranking? I'm not sure. I'm talking about the articles I look like the stream. Oh no. So Rob, why don't you type in Drake ice man then go to news

Like you like Drake you like Drake. I'm talking about them just so you know. I will tell you this is the fun fact about me I stop you know my hip hop stopped in 30,000 this now hip hop. Here's not hip hop. Notice now hip hop I like I used the Michael Jackson glove right around the time the Michael Jackson movie came out You ride that way. He not a ride away but it ain't working. He does not succeed pitch four gives a ice man a 4.8 out of 10

Okay, that's not good Fans react that's pitch four gives Drake. How point is pitch four by the one day score you? I don't get in the scores

My music I've always made was in the streets you quoted them though. You said you gave it a mid

But pitch four give it a 4.8. So then that means pitch four because got credibility in the market. No, I just told you what was online. Okay, I said mid which was higher five. So you were going to be a nicer than pitch four. Oh, consider it Okay, so let me ask you what to uh To you what is the last hit like you said we haven't had a Michael jack. We haven't had a New York with Jay-Z and We talking about big records. You got to understand when you when you're comparing yourself to Michael Jackson when you're comparing yourself

Deliver it He saw some something Michael Jackson and and and and when you You listen to people and You know play me the best five songs you heard this at that You hear it blah blah blah blah blah

There's a show ranking on Spotify. I'm actually curious now to see where it ranks on Spotify How it's done. Oh, they scored a bite 54 out of 10 Clash 54 so based on weighted average score 50 out of 100 from seven critics scores

Doesn't look like a good score to me That does not look so so now you're just coming out June 12 June 12th set is stone manu album Big huge Pop in big boy shit Reach boy reps. That's a sick cover right there by the way

Stone marble that is a sick cover right there. Thank you OG. Thank you. No, seriously. That's insane

That's a I saw that when a Nigel I think was Nigel that brought it in right that the Nigel and I just somewhere out

Yeah Nigel came already you already know yeah Nigel came ready So what what should we expect from the new album is there any tea anything you can tease us with he said tea Yeah, he was the tea, yeah, that's the first time we hear them about what was it but now ain't no tea You know what I'm saying what it is though is big boy shit Back on the throne Ricky Rosé. They know what I bring sound wise production wise collaboration wise and then

My the points that I make and Once again, it's set in stone In this challenge and to be my best album ever so you could pre order the album right now online set in stone

June 12th it's on the street

Who the collaborative who you collaborating on this will be offended you will be offended facts, okay?

facts any major collaborations in this one as always major everything

I do is major big boy shit my next single on the drop is living large feet from big extra plug

Yeah, yeah, and you know

The sounds I have my brother DJ Khaled and Drake for cooling Drake It was all I played a few records for them and man. They were so excited You know some of the things that we've done you know me in the past and the music that I'm making right now is just on I'm happy the streets get the enjoy you know me the music I make that shit for the rich mind that you got to have a certain mindset big boy yeah, but by the way, what's this A story with you trying to climb Mount Calam and Jaro? Yeah, I wanted to do some different

So that's what we've talked about at the top of the book me doing some different like you know

Let's let's challenge ourselves in of course it never happened my doctor said you crazy

Did you start did you at least go to it You know, I've been there. I've you know, but I've never went up you know, I mean shout out to the homies In my homies last time I went there and I told her my was going to go up to the the top of the mountain My doctor said no you're not going to walk up there There's smoke weed and you're fucking hit get out of something

So my mom and my sister they co-sand it and I was fuck so he can't see it. So it never By the way, which do you prefer more you know smoking grass or cutting grass because I heard a story about you guys when you bought the house You guys had your both friends just cutting for two days. Why cutting grass I love being outdoors or my outdoors

I have buffaloes. I have cows. I have dogs. Do you have buffaloes? Facts

You see I put on my cowboy hat. I got on mx95s with a hoodie on with a g-shock watch on Probably got 10 joints rolled up. You see that track. I put 10 so on it I hook my bluetooth off my bluetooth up that shit is all looking you imagine what it's like I'm a John deer champion Did you say buffaloes you literally have buffaloes in the property big time

One of my buffaloes done got away Wait your buffalo got away Like it left the property yeah jump the boom broke the top half of the gate jumped out my neighbors They had the car, you know and I had to sit my homies over there to go get my buffalo. How do you get a buffalo back That's it right there. That's my buffalo

Does he have a name? Tim buck too. Tim buck too. It's a good name So look that's that's one of my cows one of my cows is with the buffalo so I love being out those you know So I cut your ass don't get it about no if I have the time I cut grass ain't had time in the last year But I don't cut trees down grass at all that shit Yeah, Julius was telling me he's got livestock. I'm like what are you talking? I said yeah the sky's got animals here so

So it's a 328 22 acre property 54,000 square feet of living space 109 rooms movie theater for 135 people Dining room to accommodate 100 guests bowling gallery recording studio baseball field tennis court handball court

7 stall barn and a 350,000 gallons swimming pool. Why buy such a small house?

Great investment

For five point nine million last time it was a praise there was over 30 I filmed over

What three dozen films it got to the point where we we began charging the scouters just to come look So this is three films on the property How many it's been in three films you said over the shit damn that three dozen three dozen film Facts too so many different places you could film different angles you could film from so This is eventers of old house event holy films form a crib daddy built for 25 million and it's 54,000 square feet

Or it was at 46,000 square feet or 54,000 square feet 55 55 I got to get these numbers They're Ellie who man you got to catch you. Yeah, you know there's another guy that build a house and and Atlanta as well His name is Hubert Humphrey. I don't know if you saw his house he built it in Once a coming Georgia if you go to the the images go to the second one wrap Yeah, he's got another so there's a lot of big houses there, but the one you're in your scene is the biggest house in Georgia

I'm not sure I never even heard a discreet right here

Yeah, that's another one not that guy. I don't know with that guys Maybe that guy's the bankruptcy turn you or something but this was a I got a tour this house In 0708 it was it was also a nice house Do you prefer being down here or do you prefer being up there in Georgia it depends on the time of the year

Once the hurricanes come here.

Rick Ross don't know Rick Ross house because it's a ridiculous property That doesn't even look like a house How often you throw parties at this place. I'm assuming you've had some really big ones. No without a doubt What out of down

From my 40th. I know I spent a half a million from my 40th. I had an amazing event

But the car show now is that's what a car show looked like every holy shit. That's a car show. Yeah

Yeah, and this is this is it, right? Because I've had over 10,000 people. Yeah, that's the car show Thanks 10,000 people come to this. It's gonna be crazy Don't 13 get your tickets right now. You better come that last for the car show of course. It's gonna be next level big boys Big boys shit, Ross. Hey, now when when you're doing business and you're going to the room like if you were to give other business guys advice Okay, how important is it building a brand that drives attention to the businesses you run

That question almost sound unbelievable. It was even actually repeat that again. So how how important is it To build a brand personal brand to help bring attention to the businesses you're running or owning well it depends on who's Who we're speaking about everybody's not great at being a personal brand You know everybody's not great or meant to be up front lean the charge. So sometimes it's best for certain people to fall back

But in my situation me being a voice out of brand is always a great thing

Right now have over 30 plus partnerships I'm celebrating 20 years in the game and I'm still excited about the music We still chastise in the minions We still shooting three shrimp caught Yeah, when I thought you the alley who you got to win by Amma and by the way I saw something I saw you said

You have 3500 songs that you still have not released it. Is that the number of my send a correct number?

Oh, no, yeah, I read it somewhere there you said 3500 songs that has not been released to the public I have laptops and laptops hard drives and hard drives How does the song selection work out? How do you pick how do you say this does it make Is it like a it's what it's what it's what ever feels

You know who gives me that fulfilling vibe It's not about no who produced it. It's not about who's on it? What do I play and I stand up and I jump up right then That's what we keep But it's a like 25 of them and you cut to 24 then you got to 22 then you go to 14 It's a kind of like that. It is like that. Okay

And then do you rank it and is there is there a number to pick the best song? Is it the fourth song is typically the best one

Is it not the first one? No, no, nothing like that

And that's just for the audience to decide yeah, it's for the audience to decide You know what they love and appreciate the most you know what I'm asking though right like do do artists pick The one like let's you say you're doing an album and every day your hustle and say is the best song And you know what's going to be the best song. Do you put that in six like you know baseball there's cleanup hitter And you put nothing like that with music

It's a body of work what feels the most natural what feels the most authentic what goes together the best What helps paints the picture of What we're trying to do here it's a bigot in just one record two records. Yeah This is a full body of work and that's the way I approach it And then you let the audience decide which one becomes a hit

They ultimately learn determine what's to hit you can't tell them

Do you already kind of personally sit there and say I think out of the record that's coming on June 12

I think these three are the ones that are most excited what I'll do down you most definitely you have shit and you say This yeah crazy. I can't wait to see what the response is. Yeah, when I talk like that that's usually what that is So there's going to be some distracts at some people in the album that's coming up some names will be called that and the album that's coming out So good chance to good chance yeah So good chance is you're going to be like a

Leeroy and their Bruce Lee Roy type of thing or now Right there 50 cent. You saw you throw me the alley up about your son

Yeah, that's a nickname Bruce Lee Roy.

Could it be Am I not be too late and find that the two two last questions before we wrap up You ever see these guys online that do watch reviews you ever see these watch review guys Is your watch guy fix what what's what's your favorite watch like if you have a watch where do you have one with you have a big watch collection Have a nice time piece collection. I do over 50 over 100 because you got a hundred cars

So is it the same with watches or not really I got a lot of watches. I do is there a favorite one you got The vibes change Is there one that shows up more often than others? Usually the ones that I like most I rarely wear It's some time pieces it's some time pieces to me that just go with your daily bounce

Is there a specific brand or your Rolex guy or a who blow guy or you a Patek guy or you an AP guy? I got all of

What's the favorite one? It's not really a favorite. That's what I'm saying. It's kind of like yeah. It's a vibe

You know what restaurant are we going to where we travel into and what do you go along? We'll be going this is a patty I stout big time big time bus down

So you know it's funny uh the guys earlier they're like pat you know this is the third

Rick Ross you've had on your podcast. I said third Who would you have the two? I know one of them one of them is freeway Rick Ross but apparently we had a Rick Allen Ross Who was on the podcast about a year ago who was a Colt the programmer

Okay, where people who joined Colts he'd the programs people from having joined the Colt, okay? But there was about a period of my life that I kept bringing people on because I wanted to find that who killed Tupac so I brought him freeway Rick Ross. I don't know what it was probably 10 years ago I've did podcast two times with them and he came on and we spoke and your name came up

Wednesday because and the lawsuit he tried to sue you twice. I've never seen somebody try to sue somebody twice

That at yet is it true that at the end of the lawsuit he had to pay for your legal fees He wasted a lot of people term I hope he's coping with the crack addiction that he's been dealing with this whole time and I hope you're your your listeners. I hope you didn't disappoint your listeners Listening to that shit. I just hope I just hope man you got to keep you got to maintain a certain level of

quality and you've let you've allowed it to dip to a few to put him on

I mean you should go and look at you go look at your ratings pull up the rating right

Cypened YouTube Rick Ross mid-David. Let's see how he performed. I don't know actually how he performed well. Let's look it up. Let's look it up Type in bid David and Rick Ross watch the cult guy come up first

1.6 million the cult guy you get number right there. That's freeway Rick Ross was what six years ago click on that

I think you performed pretty well It did okay 1.6 million you want to go to the comment section. Let's see what the audience said So I'm trying to see I'm giving you my last alley hoop and I'm trying to see what you're going to do with this It's not an alley hoop. This is if you don't respect everyone then you're disrespecting yourself This is

Like this man in former slash crack it was he the reason why you named yourself what you mean or not at all Is there any influence there? He's a crack hit. What are you talking about pull up crack pull up smoking crack freeway

Smoking crack this what you should be talking about on your him small you you you let me down you're disappointed me because

Where's the crack Pull it up I'll see it pull up their head lines You're saying now we're back in the days Because we know about the days yet issues Well, no nothing. I'm accident pull it up

I'm accident pull it up where's the facts We talking facts when he sued me he had to admit the facts about him

Being an informant core operating with you know that we talked about that tha...

That was the conversation and we talked that's why the interview did well because we specifically talked about yeah A big Roman you ain't mentioning it Oh, no, it was a triad he was abusing crack. Yeah. I'm sure he didn't pay me a lot to you and told you we made

$3 million a day and he never did he ever show you a home

Now Did he ever show you a home that he'll did he show you his car collection? Did he show you his watch collection what the three million dollars a day where was it going to? Thank you. Yeah, I mean, thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Yeah, P. B. D. Your listeners deserve better. This is Ricky Rosé did he at all inspired the name belt

That's the only question. I thought I've answered that three times. I don't think you did. I think you went to crack and I know he had the crack is Why would it crack? Yeah, it was a tool out of you. I would it was a bad thing. Why would it crack? It inspired the boss Rick Ross

to want to be the informant. That's not no, that's why the lawsuit failed. So the two of you guys have never spoken one or one

Brother

You're lowering the standards of the interview now

We can't focus on if I if I ran a poll we can't focus on crack. I have a car show coming out. Yeah, so Huge and if I ran a bus loss, if I ran now, which we'll do that. I'm bothered we're going to pluck every one of those things Every thank you. That's the shift. I'm going to eat the chips. I'm going to plug all this stuff in. Thank you, but if I did a poll Rosé respectfully If I ran a poll and I said give me five topics you would want me to ask Rick Ross right the boss you

The guy that has one of the greatest hits of all time One of the top five would probably be the feud with 50 cent which you delivered. You didn't hold back respect One of them would probably be your coming up and what you did with your story

I've going from where you were out to your winning down probably people going to ask that name free

Wait, Rick Ross again had Rick Ross that question was brought up if I eggs Joe Rogan yeah the five questions about when it comes to having guests and speaking on success and not just trying to get black

Let me get some real one Yeah, I mean y'all got to have some real ones really on your platforms Not no shit 40 years ago when nobody's proven anything it's time to really That's the that's the difference about you know the social media and what's real and what's not These motherfuckers wake up and show you the drip check and they jeans and they jack is no show us

What's your TV sit on the wall like?

What you live in light yeah show us that that's what I want to see

I don't want to see that imaginary where you're beer companies at Where you beers at we're gonna have some beer today at this time folks said where's the it's the difference between the real deal and when it's just cap so I see it every day I enjoy it you see it you laugh but when it's time for

the real deal the real shit when they want to know I Ricky Ross you know how you really pull off the big boy jets the big boy moves My dentist shot out the doctor Mario Montoya You know as people out here that freeway rig Ross he could have used the teeth clean and did you offer him a teeth cleaner I should have

heavy plaque you think so oh man that's what trying to tell you but you guys never mega I got a dentist off as we we actually

was during the lawsuit Yeah, he reached out to shake my hand and I didn't shake his hand He said it in the interview. He said he called you and await and he said something you guys never call me He said and you offered to help him or something like that let's start Big cat

They're about about offered the help of why would he sue and not get nothing Come on man got to be smarter than that and he's not even realistic He found a lawsuit based in some shit on some shit that wasn't even real But when you cooperate your whole life that's all you know We kicked them to sleep and we moved on about our business and now we're enjoying
