Do you know what the story is about?
Do you really have something to say about this story?
No, I don't know. This story is my safe space. Do you know everything about it? Yes, exactly.
βThis story is the story of the story that I understand.β
The story is about the job or about it. Yes, it's about the story. It's about the story of the story. The story is about the story. The story is about the story.
Meet Viso Staya. Now, it's Red Eye Radio. Gary McNamara and Eric Hurley talk about everything from politics to social issues and news of the day, whether you're up late or you're just starting your day.
Welcome to the show from the Relief Factor Studios.
This is Red Eye Radio. All across America. We are Red Eye Radio. Me and he. Me, I'm Gary.
He's Eric. Hello. I'm telling you, every other day I wake up and I start chuckling because Mayor Mandami is coming up with some kind of new text. Yeah.
Over the weekend I was sitting there. I'm shaking my head while I'm reading my phone. My wife says, "Oh, what's going on?" I said, "It just has to be a way a quick way to ask these Communist leaders and get them out of power."
She goes, "Oh, Cuba has a New York City." [ Laughter ]
First Cuba, then New York City.
[ Laughter ] Well, Trump and Mandami have met at least twice that we know. There are talks. There are talks.
βMaybe they're hard to -- maybe that's what the talks are about.β
[ Laughter ] Well, we know that -- what was it here in the last couple of weeks? Uh, I'm losing my -- my time frame now. Yeah. That blends together.
He had come up with a 9.5% citywide property tax hike. If Albany won't tax the rich and put a corporate tax on all of New York State to have a stealth tax that hurts the poor in the middle class, the most across New York State to pay for what New York City wants. He has said, "Well, then we're going to put a 9.5% citywide property tax."
Now, that got a ton of people. People in Queens and we had mentioned Queens before. He said, "Yeah, people in Queens." If you look at it, you probably look at Queens. There's a lot of middle class people in Queens.
Yeah, middle middle upper class, maybe compared to the rest of the country. Mm-hmm. Uh, but still middle class when it comes to New York City, but you had black groups and groups from Queens come out and say, "You're breaking your promise on affordability."
Yeah. Yeah. Hey, people! [ Laughter ] He's a communist!
[ Laughter ]
βYou put him in, what do you mean he's breaking his promise?β
This is what communist do! Yeah, no, he's fulfilling campaign promise. Wow. Uh, but when he came out, when he came out with this past weekend, to significantly increase the estate tax in New York City,
that the threshold would be $750,000 in wealth, where a 50% debt tax would kick in on your estate. Mm-hmm. Wow. $750,000 in New York total wealth, including your home.
Wow. As we told you, he's going after the middle class. $750,000. That's a one-room home in New York City. And then you saw the proposal, too, for, uh,
to raise a minimum wage to $30 from 19. Yeah. Yeah. It's like, uh, we played some of the protesters. Uh, there were black groups out there protest.
We voted for you for affordability, and now you're talking about a nine and a half percent. Don't even bring that. Why you even bring in that up? Yeah, right. You're saying if the state doesn't do,
you want other people to pay for what, for what you want. And if not, you're going to increase our property taxes. Nine and a half percent. Mm-hmm. We voted for you for affordability.
And again, as we say to all, people of New York City,
He's a communist.
That did you not see this coming?
He's. That did you not see it coming.
βBut I just, uh, when I saw the debt tax,β
I had, when I, when I saw it, I had to go and double check and I said, it's Kim, 750,000. It was the only. Mm-hmm.
That, that hits right into the middle, hard in the middle class of New York. It must be 7 million. Yeah, like 7.5 million. That's what I was thinking.
Yeah. There's somebody made a mistake at the decimal point. Right. I saw 750,000. I'm like, wow.
No, there you go.
That's somebody that owns her.
That's, that's a, that's somebody who is, you know, retired owns their home and has a little money in the bank for medical expenses. Pretty much.
That means when they're gone, their family only gets some of them. Yes.
βThat's why they're going to have to pay for their expenses.β
That's why they're going to have to pay for their expenses. That's why they're going to have to pay for their expenses. That's why they're going to have to pay for their expenses. That's why they're going to have to pay for their expenses. That's why they're going to have to pay for their expenses.
That's why they're going to have to pay for their expenses. That's why they're going to have to pay for their expenses. That's why they're going to have to pay for their expenses.
That's why they're going to have to pay for their expenses. That's why they're going to have to pay for their expenses. That's why they're going to have to pay for their expenses.
That's why they're going to have to pay for their expenses. That's why they're going to have to pay for their expenses.
βThat's why they're going to have to pay for their expenses.β
That's why they're going to have to pay for their expenses. That's why they're going to have to pay for their expenses. That's why they're going to have to pay for their expenses. It's not a comma mistake. Nope.
It's not a zero mistake. No. It's a comma. It's a comma. It's a comma.
It's a comma. It's not a comma mistake. It's a comma. Wow. Wow.
Just welcome to Communism New York City. Enjoy. Just tell me, it's what you voted for. What you voted for, it's what you want to. It's what you wanted.
When someone uses the word. What is it? The sweet warm of collectivism. Whatever it was. Maybe sweet wasn't in there.
Maybe. Maybe. I love it. And oh, another thing I wanted to address. We'll address this every time it comes up.
I see members of, you know, the media and Congress now Democrat saying, We could take this money. We could take this money that we're spending on the war. And it could go to lower healthcare costs. Um, every single Democrat state that has attempted.
Government healthcare. Has not gone through with it. Why not? Democrat states, California, Colorado, Vermont. Put it put it out there.
Every single one of them decided we are not going to do government healthcare. Why not? They could pay for it. If but they knew if they did, they would have to raise taxes through the roof. Do the sky.
Stop with the factual details, Eric. California is Nirvana. It's the place where Gavin News says everybody wishes the United States to be like California. If California is the Nirvana. If California is humanoid.
Humanoid. You can only have it. Then pass a state healthcare bill. Every Democrat state can have government health free government healthcare. Why won't you do it?
You don't care about your citizens. You claim if we don't do it on the federal level. That we don't care about people.
Then why aren't you doing it at the state level?
Remember in California when one of the lawmakers suggested we can't do this.
βBecause there's no funding mechanism in this bill.β
They received death threats. They got death threats for it. But why won't they do it? Because Democrats will only pass a government healthcare bill. If they feel that others will have to pay,
including borrowing it from future generations. Did you see? We see. October, November, December, January, February, March. Okay, so we're not through March.
First five months. We have already borrowed a trillion dollars. Yeah. That means we're on the way to borrowing two trillion with the trillion dollars in interest is a three trillion dollar debt by the end of the year.
Now, we're going to have men that borrow as much as in April. Because tax funding comes in. Right. So somewhere around the 15th I'm told. The first, well, people put an extension.
So it's April, May, June, July.
βI think the extension could be six months, right?β
It's six months.
So we've already borrowed a trillion, 50 billion a week.
We're borrowing. Are we to the point of now, since nobody cares about it? Shouldn't we be turning the corner to celebrating the growth of the debt? Shouldn't we have a parade now and celebrate it? Because if we don't care about it, then we must like it.
There must be some joy that we're getting out of it. Something, because it sure feels like we're about to turn the corner and have a ticker-tate parade for the amount of debt this nation has and is growing in leaps and bounds. It's maddening. But when I saw the Democrat saying as you've spent it,
you have had the ability. Democrats in California, why aren't you square? Why aren't the citizens of California Vermont in Colorado? Why aren't you in an uprising, right? Right. Because Democrats only want a government health care plan if they can have their children,
grandchildren, and great-grandchildren pay for it. Yeah. Democrats don't want a government health care plan that they have to pay for. And the story can have it. They're complete and total hypocrites.
Otherwise, every Democrat dominated state would have government health care. Yep. Yep. Every single one. Yep. That you can put a funding mechanism in there. Absolutely.
It's going to cost you. It's not free. Mondani is pointing that out. And he hasn't gotten to that point yet. Again, we go back to the large group significant number of people that said,
they're still going to vote for the guy, but they believe his policies wouldn't work. I don't know. I really don't know.
And this is what this is ultimately what was bound to happen.
By the way, I mean, we're only into month three for him being an office. We're only into month three. And people are going, look, we're not free. We're not free. Oh, we're not even.
What do we?
β30% of the way through the Trump administration, right?β
I mean, nobody cared to do the math. They really, I think they really thought, we'll just get the suckers in the rest of the state to pay for it. Yeah. Somebody else will pay for it.
But this is the mindset. Somebody else will pay for it. It's just not going to be me. Because, you know, he said, you know, he said free.
So there's going to be free stuff, but, huh? Wait a minute. What? Yeah, look, it's all going to be free. Just give us your house when you die. Oh, just see the co-founder of Uber,
the billionaire says he's leaving California now too.
Yeah.
And it's right. It's going to be there in 10 minutes.
[laughs] Yeah, yeah. How much to go for it? He already left. He appeared on a robotics forum.
βAnd said, he relocated to Austin at the end of 2025.β
Yeah. Now, see, Austin is the place where liberals get to pretend their liberals while enjoying the society of the state built by conservatives. Right. Right.
Yeah. They get to wear the tie dye. And not pay heavy taxes on it. This is just to be clear on December 18th. I moved to Texas.
I don't know what's so specific about December 18th, but let's just say it's prior to January. [laughs] There you go. Yeah.
Because that's when the tax was supposed to be. Right. Well, to go. It would. And just the talk of it. Think about it.
Just. And it was serious talk, obviously. But.
Because here's what they know.
Here's what the ultra rich know. Well, if they're talking about it,
βeven if they can't get it done right away,β
they're going to keep at it until they can move on it. Yep. California lawmakers and activists are pushing or proposed 2026 billion air tax act, which could appear on the state's November 2026 ballot.
The measure would impose a one-time 5% tax on wealth exceeding one billion. And would apply to people who were in California as of January 1st, 2026. So he moved and made it clear.
He moved on the 18th to avoid the possibility of paying that tax. Yeah. He is worth an estimated $3.6 billion. It will not be subject to the tax. Should it be introduced?
Yeah. Well. There you go. Get out of the way of it. Because you know, they know we all know
once the conversation is started. It may take a minute. But they'll get it done. Or they'll move on it to the point where it will do so much damage.
They may have to repeal it. But by then, the damage is already done. It doesn't matter if that's going to be the mindset of the political leadership, which is all on the left of California.
Then we're not going to be, we're not going to take that risk. What he said when talked about other wealthy Americans relocating to Florida, he said, "Why so much Florida action?
Like, come on, homies." End of quote. Those homies would be billionaire tech figures to leave California for Florida, including the Google founders.
Amazon founder. Medici. As we all know. Yep. We are right, I radio.
Brought to you by FPPF, fuel power max. It's a common road rumor that it's impossible for one truck owner operators and even carriers with just two or three trucks to get freight direct from the source, the shipper. Yet hard one experience from untold numbers of owner operators

Once you get that list, ask yourself of those companies know who you are and what you do. If not, you're leaving opportunities on the table. Strive to own your backyard. To build a solid foundation for the business.
For many a small fleet, it's the loads outbound from home that are the bread and butter. You can take that same approach to the destination area. Identifying shippers there and getting on the phone to make sure they know who you are and what you do.

βYou know, and you would mention this and I think the point isβ
about the Uber billion or leaving California is this
Wasn't even law yet.
They just looked at a proposed referendum that wasn't
even on the ballot yet. Yep. And said, this is it, we're leaving. And this means they're not going back because it means it doesn't matter what the law is now.
It's the fact that they believe these states aren't going to change. Yep. And so they're moving permanently. Yep.
They're getting out before the laws even passed because now they're looking at Democrats who say let's make this thing.
βRemember the Democrats talked about it for a long time.β
Let's make a well tax. Let's make any of these taxes retroactive. Correct. Yes. Exactly.
So if they attempt to leave.
So they're just like, well, now you're going to put this in. We're not going to take the chance. We're gone. Bye. There you go.
[ Music ] You're listening to Red Eye Radio from the Rally Factor Studio. [ Music ] We're on our radio. He's our Crony and I'm Gary McNamara.

βSo this was former Utah State volleyball star Kaylee Ray.β
Facing off against a Democrat state senator. Who claims she would have welcomed a man on her team. And questioned raise competitiveness. Are you ready? Okay.
Here we go. Here we go. I have a man on my team. I would have welcomed it. But this is just my opinion.
So it just depends on the sports mentality of that individual. And that's why this bill is bad because you're just putting a whole community of women's sports in one kind of category. When women like me, we have a different opinion. So how competitive do you think you really are?
Madam chair senator. As elite level athletes, I would say we're very competitive, which is why this bill designates three categories. Male, female, and co-ed. The idea is that everyone can participate in sport.
If you want to compete against your man, absolutely. Let's do that in the co-ed section. That's the clarity and distinction is really important. Because when men are allowed access into women's sports and spaces, it's not women's sports and spaces anymore.
Well, there's not going to be a co-ed.
βThat's why it's important for women's sports.β
Because it would be all men. Well, because you're going to build a team behind this sport, right? But here's the interesting thing. What an idiot. Whoever, what is her name?
Is her name?
Let me see if we're let's get to the first part of it.
Here we go. I have a man on my team. I would have welcomed it. But this is just my opinion. So it just depends on the sports mentality of that individual.
This bill is bad because you're just putting a whole community of women's sports in one category. Yes, women! Yeah, yeah, that's right. In one category. I don't have her name.
When it can reach two, women's sports can be women and men's sports. No, that's two. That's separate categories. Oh my gosh. Oh, yeah.
Yeah, now the co-ed thing isn't going to happen. There was again. Well, there was an entire purpose behind Title IX. That women could compete and have their own sport. And they could compete at their level.
And strength level. This is what it's about. Now, if you looked at a guy like me, I didn't have much strength. But an elite athlete, male athlete, is going to be stronger than an elite female athlete. There are a few exceptions to what I just said.
And you're not going to create a co-ed team because, well, the coach is going to build a team to win. Next thing, you know, that co-ed team. Oh, it's all males. The question to ask at state center.
I got to find out her name because it doesn't appear anywhere in the video.
Fox News posted it.
βWould she have been okay with the man replacing her in the team?β
Right. Exactly.
Yeah, that's that is the big difference there.
You got cut because the man replaced you. Yeah. You're saying, I'd welcome a man on my team. What if you didn't welcome you? You've got to go because you're a woman.
What if the coach said you're out? And then she questioned the competitiveness of the, the woman athlete. Right. I questioned your competitiveness. Right.
Because you don't want to play with men. These people, you know, there was, I think was David French eroded. I couldn't see it. And, and he's gone whack job. He said we've entered end stage polarization in the United States.
I didn't see any analysis on it. I just saw the headline. I couldn't get into it. He's gone more liberals, so I don't know where he went with it. But we've said that.
We've, we've reached end stage polarization because there's no place to compromise. Yeah. When you look at the left, where do you compromise? Yeah.
βAnd so that's why, you know, yeah, when, when people say, well, you know,β
we need to look at what's the best on both sides of it. And then decide through to go shut up. Yeah. If there's no association on can a man be a woman. Where's the negotiation?
And the negotiation is not co ed teams. Yeah. It's, it's, you know, and I'd be interested to see that David French piece. There, where's the middle ground? Where's the middle ground?
Because there isn't going to be when, when teams are based on winning. Either co ed teams, I'd play at a co ed softball team at one point. It was a recreational league. Did you drink beard during the, uh, in the game?
No, no, no, but my, my third basement had a heart attack diving for, I'm not kidding you.
Oh, no. Third basement, he's doing fine. This goes, this goes back. Wow, almost 30 years ago. Mm.
29 years ago. Did you tell him there's no diving in softball? Yeah. Well, he, he dove for the ball. Yeah.
And, you know, well, he started going and he sort of fell over. And I, I'm laughing. I had to get the ball in, in, in, in the outfield. Right. And I figured out my level.
Come on. And he's just sitting there letting go. Come on, Randy, get up. Get up, Randy. Guys having a heart attack.
Oh, man.
And went to the hospital.
He, he sort of harassed me about that for years. Yeah. Getting to get a pacemaker. Walk it off. And he's going to get a pacemaker.
But he had to be in all right. And he's good. He's doing, he's doing fine today. But, um, no, we, we had, uh. Well, I, I've been on, I've been on.
I've been on. Well, we want to, if, if, if, if a lot of cool original teams. Right. If schools want to do that. Go for it.
Have their little experiment on the coa thing. Good luck with it. Yeah. Let's see. Because the coaches there to build a winning team.
Let's see where it goes. This is that young liberal women's out saying, go it. Yeah. Think so. Yeah.
Because you don't have a rally game scene. Oh, we need to have. There's going to be code competitive teams. I think that's. I think that is the out.
Yeah. They're not going to be. Because they know they're out. They know they are at the end of this argument. There was a, in 2024.
The breakdown of, of what drove female voters in 2024 in the election. Was not abortion. It was men playing in women's sports. Yeah. And when you look at that, and I don't think that is over.
I don't think any of that on that issue has changed. There may be people who don't support Trump as strongly as they did on election day in 2024. Right now. There may be, you know, a little bit of movement here and there on that issue. If anything, it's moving further in the same direction as it was going in 2024.
I believe. And because that's where you see the evidence. Part of the evidence is exactly what you just said. This is now they're just going to start using code. We'll just, well, go on.
Where's the compromise? Let's take the major issues.
βWhere is the compromise on knowing on knowing if somebody is a citizen of the United States to vote?β
Right. Basically. Conservatives Republicans. Well, no, everybody across the board in a majority wants voters to be able to prove that they are citizens of the United States. Only Democrats do not.
Where's the compromise? There is no. Where's the compromise?
Democrats want open borders.
We saw the representative from the Kato Institute.
βEvery single one would not answer the question about whether coming into this country should, you know,β
illegally should be made legal. None of them would answer the question. We all know what they meant. Right. Well, it shouldn't be illegal.
So it should be legal. We'll answer the question. Every one of them want open borders. Yeah. The majority of America does not want open borders.
Where's the compromise? The compromise is legally more legal immigration. Oh, just see where Trump got. Was it the New York Times ahead of them? It says Trump.
The Trump administration is secretly. Isn't really secretly because he announced he was going to do it. And he said he was going to do that. Yeah. Right.
I mean, that was no secret. It's like, you know, and Trump is going against his own. No.
Trump has always stated we need a lot more legal immigration if our economy is going to grow.
Yep. There may be a ton of Republicans and disagree with Trump on that statement. Or heaven paid attention with Trump has said on it in the past like we have. But Trump is not compromising at all. He wants you legally in this country.
You know, to do that. But where is legal immigration? Legal immigration? More legal immigration is Trump is proposed. Mm-hmm.
Would be the solution. America doesn't want it right now. You and I've talked about it. Right. Americans don't want it.
The political climate right now is not there. Isn't there? No. But that's the solution. Yep.
The solution would be legal immigration.
Yeah. He's been consistent on that. Right. I would say that there was a time when remember he was on the debate stage in 2016. Ten years, dude.
Yeah. Seriously. That's crazy. But he was on the debate stage. I think Megan Kelly was the moderator that asked him about visas.
And then he said, I'm changing. I'm changing. And what he was changing was, and he was, again, having conversations. I don't know who he was having conversations with. But it was there was conversation at that time about no visas or one thing.
Because we can allow more visas and people to come here. If they're properly wedded, if they're here legally to work. And then the day Jim Acosta got kicked out of the media room.
βThat's what the president then in his first term was talking about.β
He was actually saying that Jim Acosta. We want people to come here legally because of all the jobs we're creating. We need people to fill those jobs. And that's something he's been consistent with for years. Now, sanctuary cities.
Democrats want open borders. The American public does not even. The Democratic voter does not. Right. The majority of Democrats don't want open borders.
Right. The majority of Democrats don't want. They don't understand. Once they find out that sanctuary cities are protecting criminal illegal immigrants. That means they're illegally in the country.
And they've committed or been arrested for another crime. They don't want them deported. The Democratic Party wants criminal illegal immigrants to be able to stay in the country over the safety and security of American citizens. Where's the compromise on that one? Right.
There's done. Where's the compromise? There's no middle ground there. There isn't. And voter ID is such a simple thing.
βThis isn't something you have to go down a rabbit hole with.β
I just, you know, we've seen how, for example, Minorities, a key base, huge key base of the Democratic Party. All in favor of school choice. Yeah. Andy Beshear in Kentucky, considered a moderate.
Yesterday, over the weekend, the last day, it would have gone in. It wouldn't have affected any of the money. State money in Kentucky. It was to give the state legislature to give a $1,700. I believe deduction off your federal taxes would not have cost to state any money to have a fund to have scholarship for school choice.
He vetoed it. Why? Because the teachers union wants a monopoly on education. Yep. Where's the compromise? Democrats only solution is more money for the monopoly of the teachers unions.
Republicans, a lot of independence, a lot of democrat voters believe. School choice should be available. Because competition will make education better. The democrats say no, only the, and we, I can say this.
The insane liberal leaders of the unions.
You've heard them talking.
Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Hearing COVID, everything else. Yep. Only they.
βAnd they alone should control the education of our students.β
Where's the compromise there? Who was the one education official? Were they a former union member? And she said, look, it's clear.
The union doesn't care about the education children.
That was a former. It was one of the counselors in D.C. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
She was, she was black. Yeah.
βAnd she said the union doesn't care about the kids.β
Because this gets into the minority base of the democratic party. Right.
That's such a huge portion.
She said, you've got to come to a decision whether you're for the kids or whether you're for the unions. She stepped down. Yep. We are right. I radio.
It's such with what I radio told free at 866. You might be right. I. We're when I radio and he's hurt. Honey, and I'm Gary Macmer.
Thanks Ellen for looking up for me when we talked about that story about that audio. It was Arizona Democratic State Senator Katherine Miranda that told the volleyball players. Utah State Athlete Kaylee Ray that, you know, questioned her competitiveness because she didn't want to male on her volleyball team. And she talked about, you know, the injuries that she got. She believed she got from a man playing against her.
And Miranda said, I mean, you look pretty healthy. You look like you're very much in, in shape and and strong.
βSo what's the problem about competing with the man?β
She is a state senator in Phoenix. She is officially according to Red Eye radio. I'm not case. This is Red Eye radio on Westwood One. The Dan Bontino Show.
Damn, I missed you all. I've got so much content bottled up my head. I got a lot of stuff. This is the kind of stuff. It's real.
May not hear this anywhere else. Hard truths. There's a lot of stuff to talk about that. You think it's going to open a lot of eyes. And a lot of ignorators are going to get shut down.
And a bold perspective, no one else can offer. They are freaking out. It's the comeback. Everyone's been waiting for. Lovers, haters, friends, supporters, detractors.
