Danny G. Yeah. So, they stopped touring. I think in 2017, 2018, but he did a good solid 10 years on the road. He played some Boston throughout the day.

And we got to talk a little baseball. I mentioned the game tonight. I think this is going to be a really telling game, a really great game. I think it's a three-headed monster. I do believe that.

The world baseball classic is between the USA, Japan, and the DR. In fact, they're the only three teams that have ever won it, right? This is the sixth one. Japan has won three times. And they're wrong by saying they're all undefeated in the tournament.

You can't sleep on Mexico. Who's had USA's number in this tournament since the beginning? They even eliminated USA. Mexico also undefeated in pool B. USA and Mexico in the same pool.

So, it's a big game. Is that the one you're pedant? Yes. It's the one. Well, I'll tell you why.

I'm a little torn because normally I'd be rooting for let's go. Mexico, but not when they're playing USA. Dude, I got to keep it real. And I love this squad. I'm rooting for Aaron Judd.

And I really love this squad. I'm rooting for Aaron Judd. And I really like this cast of characters. But what I really love sometimes is reading the feedback. And realizing that a lot of times, especially the people we talk to,

are on the same train track of consciousness and thought that we are. As Kavino and Rich as a show. Yeah. And, you know, I can't help but watch these games and notice the obvious. Like, wow, the energy levels different.

Wow, the excitement is different. Wow, when you're playing for your country and in front of your country, and you're playing for that country on your jersey, man, the pride is next level. And I feel like everybody's also noticing that.

And what it's really saying that everybody is, why can't American baseball be as fun as,

“as what these Latin players are bringing when they're all together?”

When you see Juan Soto hit a bomb, you see these Dominican dudes going nuts. When you see Alejandro Kirk hit a bomb. These Mexican dudes go nuts. They're busted out some braeros going crazy.

When you see Austin Wells, you know, hit a home run for the DRD of the night. They're going nuts. Like, why is this only limited to World Baseball clapping? That's why Tatis Jr. with a grand slam.

Yeah, seriously, dude. It's next level exciting. Well, you know what it is? I'll tell you what it is. It's somewhere along the way.

And along the way, it's a long, long time ago, because baseball, America's pastime, where along the way, we stuck with these unspoken rules in an old guy's sport, baseball. You don't show up a picture.

You don't celebrate. You, you certainly don't disrespect anyone. Celebrating is considered a showboy. A little showboy, a little showboy. And because of that,

when there were a few players along the way that were like a Ricky Henderson. Yeah, that would say he's one of the, one of the Yoji's when he came to Flash. But he had a back it up by being one of the best ever.

I think that a lot of times, those guys were quieted. They were told like, yeah, that's not the, that's not the big league way. I remember when Bryce Harper came in,

where it all is face paint. It was like, oh, it's sold out on that Bryce Harper. Latino players are reminding the world right now

that baseball is always was and should be fun.

Do you? It's baseball, dude. Do you remember when kangaroo Jr. or a backwards hat? We made it seem like like he was a wild and crazy guy.

That was just where the backwards hat? It's not that serious. I got it. Winning serious.

But you know, when you're making big plays,

do you see these circus plays, many machinals making in the infield? Yeah. It's insane. It's where it is where the,

Why don't you guys confirm the parent trap? Where Lindsay Lone is trying to get her parents back together. So she sets up a romantic date. I almost feel like someone needs to, like, that's your reference to.

“Because I think Lendor and Soda need to be parent trapped in some capacity where they have to learn to love each other.”

They do. If you listen to what they said right there, it's a stock contrast, man. It's like you got different mindsets. And that also shows the different mindset between WBC and MLB. These guys are playing with pride, family, love, understanding.

You know, there's so much going on there. It's visible. It's noticeable. There's a noticeable difference. Like I said, it's cool to see that we're on the same thought, the same train track of consciousness. Everyone's noticing it. Everybody's talking about it. How come the MLB isn't exciting like that?

And then there's always the default of well to long season.

I don't know. I think most of the MLB or most of the teams have the same thought process as Lendor when it has to be what Soda will say in about the WBC. Did you see Lendor face timing his Puerto Rican teammates after the after their win the other day? I mean, he had a big win. He was supposed to have part of that team. Yeah.

Maybe even more dangerous if he wants. My buddy Rob hit us up on the chat. My buddy Rob who's listening in Florida on the iHeart app. What a Rob. He said, Yo, it's definitely at least a mild dig.

And he said, the thing is though, now that we've seen Juan Soda doing the Soda shuffle and playing with this enthusiasm. It will be even more abundantly clear if he goes back this season and plays. The other way. Like, want too much of a contrast. Yeah. Like, the thing is you got to give show hair a Tony credit.

Like, he plays consistently with that same loving enthusiasm.

There's got Aaron Judge. I don't see a difference between his love of the game as a Yankee or team USA. I see such a blatant difference with Juan Soda. So it's an interesting one. We'll see what happens.

It's on for all of these Latin dudes. And the other big story. If you're at Detroit Tigers fan. And I understand this. Schoolable has pitched his last pitch with team USA.

He's back already training with the tiger. He's not going to be with the team anymore.

“And I understand because remember he won the arbitration.”

Deal the biggest arbitration separation of all time. The tiger's wanted to give him like a, Cheetos and like a stick of gum or something.

He's like, no, I want a million of $50 million.

This is the biggest arbitration difference of all time. And this is a big contract here for him. He can make probably half a billion dollars if he plays his cards right. So I get he's playing it safe. He's going back to the Tigers today.
