This isn't "I Heart Podcast.
Guarantee human.
I'm Amanda Knox, and in the new podcast "Doubt,"
the case of Lucy Letvey, we unpack the story of an unimaginable tragedy that gripped the UK in 2023. But what if we didn't get the whole story? - Address has been made to fist.
- The moment you look at the whole picture, the case collapsed. - What if the truth was disguised by a story we chose to believe?
“- Oh my God, I think she might be innocent.”
Listen to "Doubt," the case of Lucy Letvey, on the "I Heart Radio" app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. - This is Special Agent Regal, Special Agent Bradley Hall. In 2018, the FBI took down a ring of spies,
working for China's Ministry of State Security, one of the most mysterious intelligence agencies in the world. - The Sixth Bureau podcast is a story of the inner workings of the MSS,
and how one man's ambition and mistakes open its fault of secrets. - Listen to the Sixth Bureau on the "I Heart Radio" app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. - I'm Nancy Glass, host of the burden of guilt season 2 podcast.
This is a story about a horrendous lie that destroyed two families. Late one night, Bobby Gumpride became the victim of a random crime. The perpetrator was sentenced to 99 years

- Hey, I'm Jay Shetty, host of the "On Purpose" podcast. I'm joined by Luke Combs, award-winning country music artist, and one of the most authentic voices in music today.
- The guy that says he's always gonna be there
and that will do anything to be there is the only guy that's not there. No matter what, I'm gonna prioritize my wife and my children. I dread the conversation with my son. - Listen to "On Purpose" with Jay Shetty
on the "I Heart Radio" app. Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. - You are listening to the Dan Patrick Show on Fox Sports Radio. - Somebody owes our audience on TV and apology.
We, of course, are SimoCast. That's what it's called, a SimoCast. So we're on radio and TV, our radio affiliates, 400 cities around America that carry the radio portion. And, of course, we have peacock and NBC Sports Network.
Now, I have cameras all over the building. And I'm back talking to Mario and Anthony. And Mario is the person who's the eyes and ears of the program. He is the director, Anthony does graphics. And we're back chatting it up, we're talking, we're having fun.
And then Mario, who controls all of the equipment there, goes, "Oh, you guys are on camera right now. We have a camera in the control room." Marvin gives the finger to the camera. Why?
- DP, I don't know, and I sincerely apologize. I felt awful. I felt legit terrible.
“Just a lot of things I heard, Mario, say you're on camera, correct?”
- I literally heard him say. It was almost like the fritzy moment where he didn't give you the pie. Like, we're about to go to break. And I'm really sorry, most things I'm not sorry about.
This I am sorry about. - Yeah, because we're on camera. - And you're flipping off the people, you just flipped off America. - I did me to, it was really familiar. - Now, your hands being small, not everybody saw it.
So I think, but your arms were really long when you were holding out your hands.
- They were basically at the camera.
- That's how long your arms were. - Yes, Todd. - I think you can playfully give someone the finger, whether it's America or just a person. Just when you know you kid around with your buddies
and you say certain curse words, you don't mean it. I think he gets a pass for that. Is he kiddin' to you? He's kippin' to you. He's just having a little fun.
“And I think there was anything malicious about”
and it might have been a little unprofessional on these two. He's the apologize for it. - Yeah, but people don't know that on the receiving end. - And now they do. - Or what if they're children watching, Todd?
It's all about the kids. - Some children don't even know what the finger is. It's sort of just. - Yeah, now they're gonna ask. - That's definitely gonna ask.
- Yes, yes, more. - Yeah, I'm not apologizing to the adults. I'm apologizing to the children. 'Cause I believe the children are the future. - Okay.
- Teach them well and like them leave the way. - And what did you just teach them, Marvin? (laughs) - By leading the way, what exactly did you teach them there? - I feel terrible about leading America's youth.
- I'm rarely shocked. I'm now at, you know, it's live and I've got 13 cameras in here, but I'm standing next to you and all of a sudden, you flip off the camera and I go, we're on TV.
- Double birds salute at that. And I'm really sorry. - And you're the last person that I would think would do that. - But DP, just let you know, I'm not better than that.
(laughs)
I'm gonna let you know. - Stad of the day brought to you by Panini America, the official trading card to the Dan Patrick show. You could have had the voters for the sports Emmy
watching and maybe they felt like you were flipping them off. That might be, now it makes sense Marvin, good job. - Now, now I approve Marvin, good job.
- Now we're never going to win a sports Emmy.
- Yes, Todd. - The fact that we should have won at least once by now, I got no problem. - No problem. - Totally behind it.
- Does everybody collectively want to flip off the sports Emmy voters here? Is that what you want to do? - I don't think we have to overdo it, but for this one occasion that Marvin did that,
“if that's what it was meant for then, good for him.”
- Final hour on this Tuesday. - Good morning, if you're watching on Peacock and NBC Sports Network, Reggie Miller will stop by in a little bit, Scotty Sheffler, Rory, Macaroi, and the PGA tour,
taking on Bay Hill, the Arnold Palmer Invitation, presented by MasterCard Saturday and Sunday on NBC and Peacock. 8773DP show, we will get more phone calls in here. And a poll question for the final hour of this award nominated program.
- Who would you rather watch a game with football with Ross Tucker's currently beating basketball with Reggie Miller and soccer with Roger Bennett, then we have two different versions of this poll question. Who would you follow to Seafety in a fire, Dan,
the front row and the back row, right now Dan, you are leading their front row, then back row. But then when you put in, who would you follow to Seafety in a fire, Dan, front row, back row, BRGs?
BRGs currently winning that one with 48% of that vote. You're close, Dan, with 37, front row's doing okay. Back row is almost non-existent. - Okay. - Yes, Todd.
Why would it be a good choice to follow someone that just started the fire? I'm trying to understand the logic behind that. - I did start the fire. I did.
- Yet you're like leading the polls, you're close to the top for like the person that we should go running to follow to Seafety. - Unlike Billy Joel, who wouldn't take credit for starting a fire, you know, I started the fire.
(humming) - I started the fire yesterday, but once again, my thanks, my sincere thanks to Eric Jones, the big German who put out the fire, the rain to the raging fire.
- The inferno. - Yes. - Let's see. Danny and Ohio, hi, Danny, what's on your mind? - Hey, Dan was just giving me a call.
One of the C, you always asked the guests
if they had one thing to take from the fire. What would they take? I was wondering what you and Dan asked my take, since you did almost for him to place down yesterday. - Yeah, came right, very close.
I think I don't know if it changes when we asked this question, because I'm always adding things. But you don't have much time to be able to take something with you. - Yes, Paul.
- For example, the Tony Stewart quarter panel would be great to take because it's such a novelty item and I liked Tony. I don't think I have time in a fire situation together.
“- Yeah, that's all if he's car, I think, from Daytona.”
Marvin, what would you take if you had to get out of the building and you got 60 seconds? - Oh, I'm gonna grab a ladder. Aceb, try to grab that Kobe Bryant autograph jersey. - Oh, okay.
- Yeah, that's Paulies. - Yeah. - What about you, Seaton? You got something. Todd, you got something you would take?
- I've always looked at that old Yankees city
and I don't like that you haven't the corner there by your office that seems like something that I wouldn't have to fight everybody for, I just think that's kind of original. And the NBA pinball machine, again, would be tough to get out of there in a hurry.
- Seaton, I think I could do this in 60 seconds, but I'm grabbing that Guarmask and Landon Donovan jersey. Those are the two things that I want to know. - Yeah, and I'm gonna map that out. Grab those on my way out the door.
- When people see the Guarmask, they're like, what's that? And we had the lead singer of Guar. Then he came in and I said, I'd love to have the mask for the man cave and he gave me his mask. - It's a big deal, he doesn't give those away.
- Yeah, you know. But that one, Otoris, the late great Otoris. And boy did he live up to his name? 'Cause he had washed his costume in a long time. He truly was Otoris.
- Life on the road. - Yes, but, you know, he was fun guest. - Great guy. - Big football fan. - Alrighty, oh yeah, Danny, there you go.
That's probably, I'm probably taking the Ryan Leaf jersey if the colds had taken him. That was the jersey they were presenting him with and then Ryan signed it. So, that one usually gets people to say, wait a minute,
Ryan Leaf, he didn't go to the colds. I'd say, well, he was going to and that was the jersey. So, thank you for the phone call.
“Will in Florida, good morning, Will, what's on your mind?”
- Hey, you just calling in. Had a tough couple days, my mom passed away a couple days ago when just feeling down, had to laugh for nothing, but last hour, when somebody on your team
Flirted out, oh get a voice, that just made me laugh out loud
and realize everything's gonna be okay.
So, I appreciate you guys. - Thank you, Will. - Thank you. Good luck. Now, next few days, next few weeks,
and then those little things that you're gonna see and you're gonna, damn, mom, it still happens to me. Now, there's still moments where you just see a picture, somebody says something, how they say it, and I think of my mom or my dad.
“Kevin in Texas, hi, Kevin, what's on your mind today?”
- Hey, Danny, I was gonna lighten the mood up a little bit, I started to hear about that guy's mom. So, three places to watch a game, stop, notch. But you gotta go a little deeper. This is kind of Paulie's session.
You gotta think about location. In order of minutes, gonna be a small flat and lunge. It's also gonna fill you up with protein, steak. There's a little office in Eastern P.A.
But I wanna be on the beach in Malibu,
with a story with Reggie Allowicious. - Yeah. - And I'd like that two more if that's okay. - Okay, yeah, yeah. Now, if we subbed out, this is very Paulie's style.
We said about Roger Bennett for another in B.C. Broadcaster in the soccer room. So, back of that, it would be a much better fit. And then, what about as a fifth seed, you get to go to the game and sit with the Juligans?
- I don't wanna sit with the Juligans. Oh, watch the Juligans. I'd rather sit with Rebecca Lowe, Dan and Naples. By the way, didn't Reggie, his place in Malibu, he was next to Pam Anderson.
She lived, I think, next door. I believe so. Dan and Naples, hey, Dan.
“Hey, hey, I wanna congratulate Marc on Armageddon”
and a quick question. I was wondering if you saved me a couple of bucks on a plumber. My fiance dropped her ring down the kitchen sink. Oh, hang up and listen. - I'll damn it, it's a shot.
- This has just not been a great 10 minutes for me. - Yeah, well, you flip people off and now they turn on you. - I really feel bad, children of America, I'm sorry. - I don't think you are. - I don't think you are.
- Oh, no, no, no, no. I'm not apologizing for the sake of it, I mean it. - Really? - Yeah. - You seem pretty confident, comfortable flipping people off,
like you've done it many, many times. - Don't hold Steve Austin's style, sorry guys. - Yes, Tom. - There's more than wanna share anything about Santa or the Easter Bunny while we're going home.
- Oh, we're not doing that, Tom. - Todd, is that supposed to be anything to share? - No, I mean, I need to know. - There's too much time on someone else, and that had to bring it right back there.
(laughing) - Let me in, let me in, let me in. - What about me? - I'll show you how to work into this. - I'll show you how to ruin something.
- How do I? - All right, tell you about the time I went to Jersey Mike's, got us up. - This is not the Todd Fritz Show featuring the Dan Padden. - No, it's been like that.
- You have the Todd cast, and I thought that that might force you to say all, I'm gonna save some of that for the Todd cast. - That was thing. - All right, I don't need to talk as much on the show. Apparently that is not working.
- But then there's other days where I'm like, "Oh, I didn't know you were here today." So I can try to figure out my spot here. - How long have we been doing this? - A long time.
- I mean, no, I'm right. There's no, we know there's a no-in situation for me here. Like, oh, it's 1038, you haven't said a word or a two-much Todd. So we got to figure out some kind of formula here. - I don't, you figure out a thing.
- Don't think I have. - What is your story? - For me. - No, there is no formula. - In much too little.
- No, it's, you're just, - I'm not, no, I'm not getting into this. - I'm not gonna get into this. - I'm not doing it. - Anyway, what about me?
- I've obviously upset some of the other dinets that I'm trying to take over the show with stuff. They said, let's address it. - No, just seen it. - Yeah, just me.
- I mean, Paul, you know, he hasn't liked you for 18 years. - Yeah, just me. - Yeah. - No, I liked Todd. We get along.
We talk every morning, but I would say, Todd, he's either at zero or 100 miles an hour on the show. And it'd be nice, it'd be more balanced of little bits. - Maybe, maybe a school zone speed limit. - Yeah, maybe 55, 35, 45.
- If you get in the fast lane,
“if you want to go 10 miles in our faster,”
without letting anybody pass you, manny in Dayton, good morning, manny, what's on your mind?
- Hey, Mr. Patrick, third time caller,
long time listener, five, nine, dropping 195. (bell ringing) Two things, first, Paul, yeah, no, I owe you a pie with a face bed for the private baby bears winning the division. I will do that as soon as the weather breaks.
And second, when Marwin was showing the birdie, Mr. Patrick, you were right next to him.
You didn't even put his hands on, you give him a hug
from the side.
- I didn't know he was flipping off the camera, manny.
And his name is Marvin. - Marvin, yeah, thank you, manny. - I stood next to Marvin, put my arm around him. I didn't know he was gonna flip off the camera. Why would I expect that?
He was raised by a wonderful woman. - I did.
“- Yeah, how do you think your mom would feel if she watched that?”
- Oh, I'd get a phone call. - Well, you might get a phone call. - Marvin's a row, let me tell you something. (laughing) - That's good.
- When you get your middle name? - Yep, no, Boina. - And once again, it's Marvin Gaye and his... - Tammy Torel. - Tammy Torel, and they recorded together.
- Correct, Marvin Gaye was killed. April 1st, I was born April 13th. - And your name, after Marvin. - Correct, I think it was gonna be like, "Careem Abdul Prince."
- No, it was not. - That was my great. (laughing) - There was a running back at UCLA named "Careem Abdul Jabar." - I think he spelled it differently.
- Yeah, he played for the dolphins too. - Yeah, that's right. - Blue, blue, blue, blue.
“- All right, you're making it come back here.”
All right, we'll take a break.
Red Gella wishes, Miller, Jr. the third next.

“- But what if we didn't get the full story?”
- At the moment, you look at the whole picture of the case collections. - I'm Amanda Knox, and in the new podcast doubt, the case of Lucy Leppi, we follow the evidence and hear from the people that lived it. To ask what really happened when the world decided
who Lucy Leppi was. - No voicing of any skepticism are doubt. - It'll cause so much harm at every single level of the British establishment of this is wrong. - Listen to doubt, the case of Lucy Leppi,

that you make me uncomfortable.
“- But I think when you get to a certain point,”
the fame or the success or the influence, it just accentuates and exacerbates the inherent person that you are.
The guy that says he's always gonna be there

- Reggie Miller, he was on the call with Mike Tureko, the Celtic 76ers last night, and Reggie joins us on the program. You got any official return date for Jason Tatum after being around the Celtics?
- Okay, let me clean up some things first because people assumed that we were flexing into that Sunday
night game with Boston, because we had gotten
early information that Tatum was gonna be back for that game, which wasn't the case. We were flexing in because it was a better game between two Red Hot Easter Conference teams.
“The other game was I believe Dallas versus Atlanta,”
even though all the others played well a bit better, Dallas is kind of going the other way. So that's why we flexed into the game. It wasn't that we had inside knowledge that Tatum will be back.
To answer your question, and you and I've kind of talked about this, when he should be back, I'm hearing his earliest. Friday that he's thinking about coming back. I believe they do play Dallas at home.
I'm from the thinking, I would like to see him come back in the playoffs and people's like, well, he needs games under his belt. This will be a decision that he has to make. I think it's a foregone conclusion
that he is coming back this year. I'm a little surprised, but I think he's been doing this working so hard for his mental. And I think he's ahead of schedule.
I don't know if you've watched any of that five part documentary of the quiet part of them following him around.
“The best thing if there was not gonna live,”
the best thing when he tore his Achilles in game five, I believe, in New York, after the doctor was right there, that they attached it right away. And the thinking was the body didn't even know
that it had that traumatic experience. That's how quickly we've been 24 hours. They have the surgery on the Achilles. So that's why he is so far ahead of schedule versus the Damian Lillard or Tyre's Haliburton
is because they had the surgery within 24 hours. But I don't know why you push him. The Celtics have won eight of 10. They're really getting a lot of contributions from a lot of different players.
And I don't know if, you know, maybe you're not rushing him back. But it feels like, let's clear this up. The Celtics are not rushing Jason Tateau. No one has seen her come back and play. This is all coming from Tateau's count.
So the Celtics are being very patient. Wait, when Tateau can say when he wants to come back? Yeah, at the end of the day, this is gonna be Jason Tateau's decision. Along with the doctors, don't get me wrong.
I mean, they're gonna put them through vigorous workouts and all that. But at the end of the day, Tateau will have the last say, saying, I think or I want to go. It won't be the doctor saying that.
So no one from the Celtics side is trying to carry up the process and get Tateau back on the floor. This is all, the narrative is all coming from the Tateau side as it should be because it's his decision
and his decision alone. Let's go back a couple of weeks. You're there with Catelyn Clark. And you say to the other guys on the NBC set that her play reminds you of Peyton Pritchard.
OK, you see Peyton Pritchard last night. Does he say anything about that comparison to Catelyn Clark? Well, we have the conversation because when I said that, it was a Sunday night game.
It was our first Sunday night game, it was in New York.
It just so happened, we had a game Tuesday in Dallas with Boston. And obviously everything blew up after that because they're saying her look like she felt disrespected. This is people saying she felt disrespected. And the question from Maria, to me,
Was who does her game remind you of?
It wasn't the question of historically or stature-wise
who is she compared to? Because if that was the case, obviously the W and the WMBA, she has brought so much attention and eyes like a step in curry. So if that was the question, then I probably should have said step in curry.
“But I was going by game alone, like who does her game remind you?”
And when I look at Peyton Pritchard and if you watch Peyton Pritchard, what you've seen a lot, because you live in that area, they're very similar now. He's probably a better score once he gets into the pain. But I was talking about in terms,
she loves to go left and that step back three. Deep three, that's Peyton Pritchard. Throw ahead, get the ball back. Big quick moves, assist. To me, that was Peyton Pritchard.
And the people got caught up because it wasn't a huge name. You know, because you could have said, "Damian Lillard," you could have said, "Tree young." You could have said, "Step and curry." I was comparing the games, guys.
Not the stature of Peyton Pritchard. But did you see her reaction, though? She was surprised with what you said. I didn't see her reaction, though. Everyone was like, "Did you see her reaction?"
I was like, "I was talking about the game." So, but if you see-- OK, if I let you do it again, if you see this game recently, everyone, like the game against LA, everyone was like, "Oh, I guess she was right."
Ricky Closer for that, then she is to step and curry. Step and curry is more off the ball now. Kayla Clark has the ball, like Peyton Pritchard has the ball all the time. It's just like Peyton Pritchard to the common fan. Isn't well known, like, step and curry.
But to the basketball people, people don't Peyton-- people really love Peyton Pritchard. But it is what it is. If you had to do it over again, and I ask you, who does Caitlyn Clark's game remind you of?
I would have said Peyton Pritchard, "Steven curry, curry, and curry, and curry." I say, "Oh, it's magic, y'all feel." Uh, "Tank, come down." Uh, "SGA," she's all known.
All right, who would have known that you would have thought you'd get embroiled in something like this? But I was like, "Oh, my goodness." It's because you've been in her games. See, that lets me know.
People don't know Peyton Pritchard. Yes, exactly. And you know what?
I am always exchanging these summer league videos with Marvin.
It'll be a Sunday morning at 7.30. And I'll send him a video of Peyton Pritchard playing in a-- some kind of summer league game, a pro-AM game. And he is unbelievable. Unbarging, scorching.
Yes, scorching. But again, he is not a house. When you think of the sausage, you think of Caitlyn Brown. You really don't think of Pritchard. But the bath-the-wall appearance.
We know who Peyton Pritchard is. But again, it wasn't the name. I guess she wasn't looking for the people who were looking for him. But they were looking for Steph. They were looking for Steph.
But that's not her game. That's not her game.
“The only thing that she hasn't come and what Steph is,”
is that they both shoot deep. Steph lays off the wall now. We're talking to Reggie Miller. Yeah, Reggie on the call for the Celtics and Peyton Pritchard. That's the 76ers.
There's the Magic City game in Atlanta. And I was curious. Are you going? No, I'll be working. Oh, OK.
Hell, I'll be working. Have you been to Magic City, the Wing Establishment in Atlanta? I'm sure at some point, I have... Have you ever been to Magic City? I have not, but I did when we went down to do Celebrity Family feud.
I gave Marvin. You did a show from Magic City? No, no, no, no. I did Celebrity Family feud. And we were down there.
And we went to dinner and then Marvin says, "Hey, I'd like to go to Magic City." And I said, "I'm not going. I gave him a hundred dollars." And he said he was going to make it rain.
And he went there for, you made it drizzle. How long did you go for?
“So, I thought I was going to go there for, you know what?”
45 minutes tops. Three and a half hours later. Whoa, Marvin! He said, "Who was there, little Balwell?" Little Balwell in a T-Pain, and a Jermaine Dupree.
Okay, it's safe to say to answer your question.
"I've never met a rain in Magic City."
So, I can say that. Well, you made it, Marvin, you have won up me. You have won up me. I've never met a rain in Magic City.
Have you made it sprinkle?
I've never made a rain sprinkle.
A drizzle, a little cloud cover, and then that. You, that wasn't back in your generation, though.
“I think it was back, how long has it been around?”
No, I mean, making it rain. Oh, I know, that's a new thing, making it rain. Yeah, like James Harden is MVP at making it rain. Yeah, probably has a jersey in there. Yeah, yeah, when they retire your jersey in a strip club.
That's why. That's why. They're so anyway, it's me to go with them. Making it rain. Good for him.
Okay, I took credit. Now, I have to take some blame. I would pester the commissioner of the NBA to why don't we establish a number of games you need
to play to qualify for first team second team, third team, friend VP, and I kept saying 65.
Now, whether he listened to me or not, we're at a point where Joker can't miss more than one more game, SGA, you might have somebody win the MVP who is not really the MVP in people's eyes, but only because they qualify.
“Would you, what would you do with the 65 game minimum to qualify for postseason honors?”
Number one, I get rid of it. That's a hard number in today's game, and I know it sounds so trivial for people to say they can't play 65 games. The amount of running and how the game is played today, I see where the injuries are coming from. I think 65, that's a, it's a tough number. And in terms of someone winning MVP, I would be okay if a kid cutting him on MVP this year
because of the number of games. His numbers back it up. His teams back it up. I would be okay if Jalen Brown won MVP this season. His numbers back it up. His game backs it up. So, it's unfortunate injuries are a part of this game, but I was going back. Didn't A-Rod win in baseball. He won an MVP. I believe with the Texas Rangers, and they were like in last place or something like that, right? Or second to last? Something like that.
Andre Dawson won an MVP with the Cubs. They finished last. I think Cal Ripkin might have won an MVP. So, I mean, it's unfortunate. I talked about injuries being a part of it. I don't personally like this 65. You look at the all NBA teams this year. That's a different conversation because we could have people that are making the all NBA teams that probably normally wouldn't be for second or third team because of this 65 game rule.
The awards, I can kind of see, but there's going to be some guys on the all NBA team where you're going to be scratching your head a little bit. Jeff Tig has the club 520 podcast group, and he was asked the following question.
“Watch out. I think how good. How good do you think Larry Barry would be right now?”
Larry Barry. He would be a small four version. You think he would be like one of the best. Larry Barry would do this night or night. Sometimes I used to watch older people play. I think they'd be like, "Man, yeah, I bloody can't this, but then when I watch jokits, it's like, he's walking around. He just makes it look so stuff. I'm like a Larry Barry player right now. If I look good, yoke is just be walking around. Barry Barry Barry Barry Barry Barry Barry.
Bernie. Who's yours? 10. 8. So what do you think? Larry Barry can play with any error, generation and dominate. Same with magic. Those guys, Michael, it just doesn't matter. You could plug them in the 60s and you'd be the plug them in today's game and they would be just as dominant. People say Shaq wouldn't be as dominant in today's game where there's so much space and they're switching. Everyone plays five out, zero in and they're like Shaq wouldn't be as dominant.
You guys are out of your damn mind. Shaq would dominate probably even more so because he would be failing out all these. He would be failing out in being in the jokers. It would be ridiculous. Larry Bird would dominate in today's games. And he gets the shoot 15 to 23. Are you kidding me? Why is it in sheet and brought this up earlier? If Larry was that great of shooter, why did he,
he never average more than three, three corners again?
The game was played different because the game was played with your back to the basket. It was more
Physical and there was no zones.
started to drift the more space, pace, open it up, more running. I would say, run as I was retiring.
“2004 took 2005. That's when because we wanted scoring up and how do you get more scoring?”
You got to make more threes. So team started to take and make more threes. So early 2000s is when it shifted. But is this golden state changing the game or is it before golden state? Well, if you remember run TMC with Don Nelson and Chris Mullen, Miss Richmond, Jim Hardaway, they were ahead of their time. But I don't think they were shooting threes with regularity. I think that they were in the game. They were in the game. They were in the game. But
think about it started with Marjax and then Steve Kerr just took it to a different level in
terms of head coach. You had two of the greatest shooters ever on one team and Kevin and Clay Thompson. So why not utilize that? Yeah, but I was trying to think, was there another player team coach who said, you're going to have to play our style at the other end of the floor and we're going to read
“as a reason that's how the Celtics and how the Celtics won the championship. And they've been”
in contention over the last five six years. Joe Masulano, they want to take 43s and I think last year the average 18 this year they're averaging 15 may three. So without Tatum, he makes up those three or four three. So that's how Boston plays. That's how they're successful. But people don't get it twisted. Another reason why I go and say it was so good at winning championships. Their defense was a lead. Boston, their defense is a lead as well. I think we talked about this. I had Robert
Ori Oreo on and read she's a whole of the Famer and I'm going to say this because it's just like dream on green. You're part of an ensemble. Robert Ori, when your nickname is Big Shot Bob, you played for the Lakers. You played for the Rockets. You played for the spurs. You have 7 NBA titles and you played big in big minutes. This is no different than Michael Cooper with his contributions to the Lakers and being part of an ensemble. So now I'm on this kick to get Robert Ori into
the whole of Fame. And I know he was a good college player. He said he probably didn't have any play design for him in his career. But he was playing with unbelievably talented players who kind of overshadowed anything that he did. It was Tim Duncan spurs. You know, it was a King's Rockets It was Jack and Kobe's Lakers. But Robert Ori has seven titles and it is part of winning those titles. Not only seven titles, but if you go back to each one of those runs for him,
there was a moment in each of those series in the finals where the nickname became true.
“Yeah. And I'm with you on that. People love to focus in on the numbers. I believe it doesn't”
even have over 11,000 career points. That's not the point you and I are talking about is what difference did you make on those championship runs? And whether it's the tip back to him at the three versus Sacramento, the huge shots that he made on those back to back title runs in Houston or with the spurs. Little hip-check too was Steve Nash to it. And there's moments that we know about Robert Ori and I agree with you. And Shack and I we've had this conversation before
that Big Shot Bob should be a Hall of Famer. Eventually I think he'll get in everyone does. But yeah, I think he should be a Hall of Famer as well. Yeah, man. And plus he was a guy who would give you a hundred blocks. Yes. People forgot how good defensively he won. Yeah. We I asked him I said better defender, uh, Mike or Scotty goes oh Scotty. Like he didn't even. How's it? Yeah. Scotty was guarding one through five. And as good as Mike was. And I see that because
Mike had a guard being, I mean, I had some of my best games against Jordan. So, but when they put Scotty
off, it was a little different. Well, I always go back to when Scotty picked up Mark Jackson
Full court man and I don't think that whole series.
Mark's not going to be. And we didn't know that it was coming because that's what he did to John
“Stockton completely took him out. Okay. When he picked him up full and we should have known that.”
Damn, oh, but we did. Thank you, Regis always would talk to you next week.
Well, thank you all. And that's it, Regis. Marvin, making it sprinkle. Regis all wishes, Miller, Jr. The third. All right. We'll take a break last call for fun calls. China's Ministry of State Security is one of the most mysterious and powerful
spy agencies in the world. But in 2017, the FBI got inside. This is Special Agent Riggle,
“Special Agent Bradley Hall. This MSS officer has no idea the US government is on to him.”
But the FBI has his chats, texts, emails, even his personal diary. Here how they got it on the 6th Bureau podcast. I now have several terabytes of an MSS officer, no doubt, no question of his life. And that's the unicorn. No one had ever seen anything like that. It was unbelievable. This is a story of the inner workings of the MSS, and a one-man's ambition, and mistakes opened its fault of secrets. Listen to the 6th Bureau on the iHard Radio App,

I'm Nancy Glass, host of the burden of guilt season 2 podcast. This is a story about a horrendous lie that destroyed two families. Late one night, Bobby Gumpride became the victim of a random crime. He pulls the gun, tells me to lie down on the ground. He identified Germaine Hudson as the perpetrator. Germaine was sentenced to 99 years. And like Laura, this can't be real. I thought it was a mistaken identity. The best lie is partial truth. For 22 years only two people knew the truth,
until a confession changed everything. I was a monster. Listen to burden of guilt season 2 on the iHard Radio App, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Marvin who went to a magic city may have wings there, but it's a gentleman's club, and he was singing girls, girls, girls. Was that motley crew? Girls, girls, girls? Tommy Lee and
company. Yes, Marvin. I believe so. But all of those bands, hair bands, everybody wanted to

had stairway to heaven. And it felt like everybody had to have their power ballad. And what was
“some power ballad was a big deal dude. Yeah, big deal. But what was motley crew's power ballad?”
Home sweet home. Home sweet home. Tonight I'm on my way. Great song. What was the guns and roses? Did they?
Never rain, remember rain, remember rain. Well actually, sweet child in mine is kind of a
power ballad too in a way. Okay. There's a bunch. You could go back to faithfully by journey. Yeah, but they weren't a rock and roll band. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Oh, no. You're laying a tree. Give you a love and touch and squeeze and journey gave you open arms. Yeah, they're all there's power ballad. Okay. I don't want to miss a thing by aerosmith. Every rose has a thorn by poison of a banger. Massive. Have an r-o speed wagon keep on loving you. That's a power ballad. Yeah. Right. Yeah.
Anybody else in there? Uh, uh, I'm not afraid to throw up all. I mean, it's I'm kind of stepping on your toes here a little bit. But yo, where am I? Ladies, next dentist to young and the fellows. That's a power ballad and a answer to the craft. Uh, the who didn't have behind blue eyes. Yeah. Is that maybe a ballad? Uh, bath by kiss. Oh, bang. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Did the stones have a power ballad?
Wild horses. That's not really a power ballad, but Angie. Oh, Angel. Angel. Some people are saying, uh, I do anything for love by meatloaf. But I won't do that. Oh, do that. Yeah. I saw eight minutes. He was interesting when he came in the studio and he wasn't in great health. But he wanted to come in and he wanted to talk football and oh my goodness. What a unique place in pop culture. Yes. Yes. And then, and then being in fight club, uh, a former college football player,
just the nickname meatloaf. And I'm never quite sure what how you call something like is,
hey, hey meat, or is it hey meatloaf? Like the artist's young blood. Do you say, hey young or what's up, blood? Not quite sure that Mr. Loaf. Yes. Yes, Marvin. Going back to power ballads. This song called "Keep Take Me High Enough" by Dan Yankees.
“Do you guys remember that song? I'll remember that because time life presents.”
Power ballads of the eight. The code in this one. Can you tell? Yeah. But it wasn't Dan Yankees. Some of the members of the Super Group. Yeah. I think they, they were part of a couple of different groups there. Ted Nugent. Tommy Shaw from stick sticks. There you go. Yeah. Another stick smash. Yeah. Yeah. It's too. It's, it's officially a Super Group. It might be the first Super Group. Yes.
Yeah, I'm like, guys, from Night Ranger in there. Oh, okay. They probably had a power ballad, too. The Tony Catean. Oh, uh, yes, Marvin. He's wanted better or live by Bon Jovi. Consider the power ballad in the program. Yeah. They probably got a couple of them. It means one of the best. It's a blaze of glory. Yeah. That's a solo work. Yeah. That's a jump on Joe Biden's body. Sorry. Yes, Paul. That's a, that's a tough one. I don't know if that's a power ballad by Bon Jovi.
“I think love has to be involved on a power ballad. Yeah. I think I've never a power ballad going.”
Yeah. It's never too late. Cinderella, don't know what you got till it's gone. You know what?
You weren't rockin'. You weren't spinin' those? No, I was not. You weren't. No, because I was out of college by the time that crappy music came. I mean, that music came. Out of college still living a college though. Oh, yeah. Yeah. I was off campus. I got older, but everybody stayed the same age. What was that thing? What was that thing? Where did you live it? Oh, this day in sports history, Paul. I wish Motley crew had gotten together on this day, but it's 1959. The San Francisco Giants had their new stadium named Candlestick Park,
longtime. Oh, breezy. Bad bullpork. 1982, Gretzky scored goals 77, 78, 79 of his season. And in Tokyo, Japan, '06, the opener of the World Baseball Classic took place. On this date, Caitlin Clark became the all-time leading score passing Pete Maravitch scoring 35 against Ohio State. And let's go around the room and see if we learned anything on the program. Todd, who likes to make it all about him. You're still bothered by that little comment that's eaten.
How could it give you what we learned?
Give everybody a chest. Laying out. We wonder if a big German didn't invite it to the White House to
“receive a presidential medal of freedom after seven other lives in the studio. I think that's all we've learned.”
I think it's about Todd today. I'm sorry, Todd. Thanks for your participation.
Thanks for allowing us to do this every single day. For Todd, who makes it about himself,
Seaton, Marv, Paul Ears truly in the BRGs. Have a great day, everybody.
