Sanctions have also had an unexpected effect. New U.S. tariffs did not hit Russia, but affected competitors tilting the market in Moscow's favor. In other words, Trump tariffed our allies, and there's no sanctions on Russian fertilizer. So Russia has a free path to sell its fertilizer
into the United States. The situation was further worsened by the crisis in the Middle East, meaning Trump's catastrophic and unlawful war.
