Fast forward to the finish.

I

Don't that is the stage to win in the tour France certainly the mountains. I mean, I do you could out it's it's

It's the giant a performance. It's the one you're supposed to win, but the thing that stands out is is First of all, I do you know as is most of the time the case do you don't get any You don't get any points for that. You don't get any Appreciation for that in fact, you might be viewed as is a is a bit of a dick

Which I think I was always viewed as a dick

So that just sort of reinforced it, but the thing that stands out the most across the finish line Not knowing what I had done. I get in the car and I'm before I start to drive down Eddie Merch's calls me And he says he's straight in not hey, how was it? He says Huge mistake

And I said what he mean and he said you never give away

Onto No good morning everybody welcome back to the move podcast a bit of an early start for us this morning got it. They threw us right in The don't worry. We're ready. I'm Lance Armstrong strong joined by Sir Bradley Wiggins Over here the far left Mr. Dorking capital you are ready you're ready

Professor Spencer Martin. Just real quick for George George. Are you because I know for like a week you To your family gets here you we're staying with us. Yes. Stay at the house. You're more days till Tuesday Can I never see you like it's it's What are you doing? It's got the guy that like it was gone all day yesterday. Oh, thank off. I was not home

I was the I was playing watch French act the friends played

They've rockers Morocco that wasn't by the way. That's French beat team. Yeah, yeah No, but I'm not kidding. I mean you you sent this note like hey, we're gonna go grab a quick sale Let me know if you want me to bring you something that was about six o'clock five six o'clock. Okay. I thought it was very sweet came home. I was just chillin Max and I made pasta just not that you thought it was sweet. But you didn't respond You weren't even

So sweet. No, I'm not texting about Bradley's like what are we doing here?

It's a boring day. I get asked a lot like what what George and Lance get up to in the afternoon He's golfing already. I bike I don't I do not know I don't not golf every day Just most days Tim earlier fantastic Stage when we we surely you have a very very happy Johan Bruno. I did not know this that Johan

Just loves Tim earlier You'd be like out to as who's your pick you on. Yeah, we got a thing about Tim earlier He was Head and shoulders above the bubbly grass. He just He's a warrior that that's the same guy that

Mount top finish two years ago. He was like the last guy in across the line as teammates were there waiting for him That's floppy O'occasin. Oh, was that probably the oxen? Anyway, I was kind of cool Sorry, I thought it was him Could be him he might be one is them in these guys Suffer like dogs to get over these mountains just for days like today. Yeah, so they have a chance to win and I mean that their race is made

I'm probably see a more win more stages, but I got I mean before I forget stage seven say seven. How are we got to the lawn?

I mean here. We were just talking about France and everything else, uh, Alain. What did we do today stage seven from Hagamo Bordeaux from Hagamo to Bordeaux Bradley. I think the other thing that stood out was Jasper Schwartz and just well, I was getting say yes Had to have the perfectly out. I mean he was my shout yesterday

And I thought at some point Alpsen were going to get get themselves together and we were going to see Mathew do the lead out Which transpired today? But they just didn't have it He didn't have it Van der Poe didn't look as usual smooth self when he was doing the lead out the cadence So that chops and choppy cadence did you see setups and just it's clearly not the Phillips of last year before the crash

No, yeah when they went I mean in a these are much easier to see it's hard to see from that from the head-on shot that's that's at the finish line But when they show that helicopter shot he was he was going backwards. Yeah, yeah, and they were there Yeah, but clearly, but poor guys. They just came around. I mean, yeah not the usual Jasper Phillips And he got dropped off a 220 to 130 meters to go with what right right after Van der Poe stopped on and that's typical like a good

Phillips in is winning that all day long Anyone backwards like you said. I'd also there's this this new way of of these sprints being conducted from from 20 25 k out

No one team takes up the riding and

Interestingly as we said at the finish pseudo or the only team not to hit the front at any point other than early in the stage when they were riding Yeah, it's this new thing you got it come like like rush right forward But also like Alpsen I call it the sub 10 second sprint

They kind of pioneered this thing of Phillips and would never be in the win for more than 10 seconds a lot of times like less than eight or seven

But that's because Van der Poe can usually get them so close to the line It's like he just taps it in taps it in but with Van der Poe not where he usually is Phillips and it is in the win

Longer but Phillips since also not in the shape you normally is and that's why they look they went from looking so good to then being going backwards

Just like I think in in Van der Poe trying to squeeze every last meter out that lead out He actually slowed down the pace. Yeah, so when he finally pulled off There was no he didn't have that momentum Phillips into jump off. Well, but that's the sprinter's job is to anticipate that slow down Yeah, like like I mentioned Philston was good. He would have gone He would have anticipated that's low down and gone right before that. He's well-giviri didn't even on the right

Yep, correct. And we should say it was good to see him up there. Yeah, I've got a pinch. Yeah

A wild card slot with our roll. They gave him a second chance. I mean that guy's a freaking warrior. He came out

Of nowhere Start beating the mark avenues in Torvard in 10 years 10 years. I think he's still out there battling it out and you'll unlike Smurley or because he thinks he's the fastest sprinter in the world in a Straight line and today kind of kind of supported that. Yeah, yeah fun fact, which I I did not know this After my earlier when I won Bradley said do you know who is his father-in-law is or was

I said I have no idea Frank Vanderbrook. Yeah the late great Frank Vanderbrook, but late great. That's crazy. Yeah What a what a talent Frank Vanderbrook was I remember when he came on the scene And it reminds me actually a bit of of

What is truly the pressure that Remko feels for a country like Belgium you have a talent a GC talent like you had in Frank Vanderbrook like you have in Remko He was he was a lot of things. Yeah, right? He was an enigma. He was Uber talented. He was

Stylish I mean he kind of had the package. Yeah, I think that's the key to it. It's aesthetically he was beautiful

Oh, yeah, you saw that. Oh, man, you know, he there's a very few riders Mauritius fundress was another one That just looked like they were born to be on the bike. Yeah, yep Remember that Perry needs to show it up Well, there was We're such a talent and then and then they were the teams he got early on in his career

Just got in these you know contract. They were getting bought out of him. You felt like soccer like you know We want to I mean you know people were dying for the sky, but What a beast what a talent man. He rest in peace and and looking down on his son-in-law He'd be proud man. Yeah, yeah, yeah What else do we have when you want to talk about the green jersey that seems like it's

Matt's Peter's another course there where we should also mention and was this the same actually Spencer was this that the The Batista he was in the break. Yeah, yes, this guy is racking up some kilometers off the front and by the way I mean, I don't understand these moves personally. I mean every time I looked I don't think it was ever more than two minutes I mean you're up there going I know this isn't gonna work But he's trying to rack up. I don't know maybe for the combat at points for the entire tour

TV time for the sponsors or can be good for your brand. I mean there's not a lot of left

For a rider like that especially I think we're gonna get to the third peak of this race

And it's gonna be super super super stars in the breakways because There's a guy at the front of the race. It's gonna be Hoover and Upwinds So I think it's gonna be really tough for guys that were in the breakway today to win stages So you just got you got to do something, right? You can't just come to the tour instead on your hands Yeah, well

They were away. They took the two they took the first two spots in the enemy as rent Matt's peterson ended up taking the third spots of he gets

16 points for that. Is that is that what third places? Yeah, I made it that actually that's real And yes, yes because it's these big like if you win an intermediate sprint it's 25 points That's more than Pagotchart got for the win yesterday interesting for the stage But Tim earlier wins the stage 70 points I think we can rule yes for Phillips not he's not gonna win this vinegar my kind of a danger there

But my layer wins he gets 50 points on Peterson like just on the deck adding up all their points So if he wins two more of these stages He's kind of in the game for green and then and then and then we get into the like Interesting third week where like who's gonna get in the breakways to get the intermediate sprint when it looked like Even though for the green jersey sprint. No. He doesn't really go for it. He goes for the finish. Yeah,

Which we might start seeing them go for those if he has the opportunity.

Sprint stages that he might start going for green. Yeah, well, but you mentioned in the pre show the stat

That today stage being stage seven was the latest

And a grand tour that he has been able to win a stage. Well Is that I reach check that he actually is your detail. Yeah, okay stage 18 2024. Okay So now he's made it he tends to win but we tend to win her if he plotted all of his wins They would be front loaded in a grand tour. Okay. Yeah. Well, he's gonna have another opportunity tomorrow

Which we're going to talk about in the second half of the show

We got some fun stuff in the second half of the show. We're good. Of course Our callers I love this George checking his voice mail in which they tend to not build like a sprint jersey well from he's on a look like a sprint a disease He's a cyclic cross rider. Yeah, he's actually in the he's not this like bulky no

Rigid sprinter. He's a handy rider. Yeah, very flu. Yeah, but you can see how it just comes from behind without fear or panic

And he just finds those holes of those holes or like one of the hardest things in cycling to find

Guys like that is especially let's can do it not panic even when it's less than 200 meters ago You saw he was probably five or six guys back, but he just by this time and goes to that hole well He'd been up here. I mean you're speaking to find in the holes ask us a good area I mean that Phillips and put him in the bears we thought a little bit. Yeah, that opened the way for for Tim earlier It's come around the other side

Gafiria seem like you're trying to get on quicks up there at the finish line. Well, we did see that Yeah, I didn't know if we should even say that I feel bad. I mean he's he got hot mic the little bit of course He's he's legendary sponer Been around for a long time. Yes, I'm caught a rail. That's not you know, that's not the New York Yankees and that's certainly not a team for sprinters But the hot mic caught him

That the finish said hey take me on your team I think it's I think this is marriage the hot mic and the camera caught a bunch of stuff

That's what caught Matt Spears and flipping off one of his buddies

Right on TV kind of funny today. No, yes. I he just went up even more points. I mean that's huge I love that. I miss that. I love Matt's been man's better since hilarious, but That would be little if Gafiria went to quicks up. That's a classic quick step rehabilitation project. Well, he's been there before through Yeah, yeah Today show brought you by Roca. I have been wearing Roca for years as has George look at him over there looking Swab and Devon air

And they just keep getting better and better on the bike traveling every day

They're the sunglasses. I keep coming back to they look incredible, but the optics are what really set them apart

Crystal clear scratching fog resistant lenses and they stay put no matter how much you sweat Anybody who's spent long hours on the bike with me knows how important that is. Ha ha And it's not just cycling glasses anymore prescription glasses prescription sunglasses readers all built with the same Performance tech each pair is hand built to order in Austin, Texas The move listeners get 20% off go to roca. Yeah. Yeah, he was a star

Is like every bike writers favorite bike writer. Yeah. Yeah, do are we missing that in this peloton? I mean think about let's just just think about That that generation right go down Yeah, obviously a Fanderbrook a chip alini

I mean I would even say like a

I do chopper off like these people. They were so into like like I find it's so interesting Was he's a quite who was the lost rocker bolster or something like I did a camp with your hon and a couple buddies is spring and chip I was on that camp and he actually said the same exact thing yeah, like we're missing that Big big personality for me the last one was pizza spaghetti. Yeah, he was he was certainly a rock star

Yeah, that's right. I agree with that. Why does that not his hat? Why does it not happen as much as it used to?

I don't know. You're training. No, he's got nothing to do with me to try to do much money on the line. I don't know. I mean, I mean, you know You're very young Queen Simmons is a bit of a rocker bolster. Yeah, he's a bit of a rock star. You know the expression of that You know, he's a character Yeah, personal taste social media kind of iron everybody out or No, I just think it takes that special personality that one rider that pops up. I mean the one lands

Yeah, I mean yeah, and I left out the great Marko Pantani. I mean these are guys that are just like Pantani like whoa I guess guys, I'm like this is fucking Bob Dylan weird. Yeah, somebody's not coming about this. Yeah, some guys personally do not come out in interviews Yeah, like like look at Bradley like funny his guy. I know and when he did interviews he was just like me All right one of the funniest people smart is like he knows more about cycling than anybody's any one of us here

But in your interviews you're super melancholy, but yeah, yeah, I mean there's time to get serious and yeah, but there was a rider who was in Psycho because a lot of them Italians in that generation of the 90s and 2000s would You know self name themselves There was one called Fabio Saki was the cheetah and he would have cheetah help. Yeah, yeah cheetah bike There's a lot of that missing now. Yeah, I mean you even I mean look

If you sit here and think of Richard Runk the wrong was it was a rock star yeah, and in Jackie's your end Class clown, but the festina festina was was the band. I mean that was that was a band of rock stars. Hey, go That I mean the chipo that wasn't look sometimes some of the stuff is sort of built up and projected Not a chipo like this guy whatever you thought was going on multiplied by 10 and that's actually what was going on like that was a This year it was like Mick Jagger Rockin. Yeah, really

You think he used to get fined daily for wearing the same colored shorts at the jersey was leading the competition Yeah, and now it's common place. You know where the yellow shorts with the yellow jersey

Remember that one you're he showed up like a

Caesar. Yes He had to find that picture He wore stars or stripes shorts one. Yeah, well, yeah, I think that's a great say code Yeah, they kind of know yeah, well look that this is something let's let's riff on this maybe in the second half because I maybe some more thoughts around the science and the training and the seriousness about of this sport the way it is now, but

Eight sleep move the day, of course eight sleep is a mattress cover has been a complete game changer for many many people myself

Included Totti Pope, which are sleeping on one taking it every night in the Twitter France Where did my sheet go was that eight sleep Doccon sleep dot com slash the move Yeah, yeah, hundred dollars off Five dollars eight sleep dot com slash the move

It really is a game changer move of the day, Bradley Tim Elliot yeah, I mean there was much to choose from tonight the tip merely a you know Belgium have got the most riders in this race Good for that to get a win. Yes, yeah, and for quick step. I get all right. They go by stood all I guess They go sit off. Yeah, there's a team that's been in flux

And had some changes the last couple years Patrick the favor selling the team

You know what where does it what is the look and feel of this team in the future without?

He's still around though. He's still around. He's busy a lot of time. He's a press. He's he's a star

What favor has this he's got to kind of this bella check vibe?

I'd dinner with him recently. Yeah, he is like a such a name drink star. Yeah, yeah Classic name droproads George move of the day. Yeah, Tim earlier. I mean that that was epic Sprint win came from five or six behind Composed the whole time and it was yeah one by like two bike length definitely moved today Earlier. Yeah, that's a great there. All right, everybody agrees now what about you Lance. I got out voted

No, no, that's fine. I mean give you heria. I mean Probably get to add it. Yeah, I'm gonna go to my earlier

When we come back in the second half of the show, I have a nice

I think I touched on this yesterday, but I have a special surprise

For Sir Bradley Wiggins And then we'll talk about we'll take our voicemails. We'll talk about tomorrow stage And we will be back in two minutes and 32 seconds. All right. We are back. We'll come back to the move podcast You know every day we take

This peacock break two minutes and 32 seconds and this is new for this year So it's kind of took me a second to get used to it. I said talked about yesterday that You know two and a half minutes is not that long, but it's long enough for Sir Bradley to get up every single day And go to the bathroom So like on day one day to I'm like

Oh No, is he coming back a little worried

He's made it back just in time every day, but

If you don't want to get up and go to the bathroom and stress me out. Yeah, I have a special I have a good idea for you special treat So these are made for pilots and in probably typically single pilot operations where they can't get up and go to the bathroom now You may be asking Why do I have these look at this this little bag?

It's cold. I don't travel with you, but by my name is on We feel it's got like stuff in there Okay, I don't know what it is either. Yeah, I don't think we want to know So should I run that out tomorrow? Well, no, so and when you when you pee in this bag This whatever is in there it turns to like jelly

So it won't spill and of course it does have a little Ziploc thing on the top, but So while I have done a fair amount of flying in my life This is not why I have them The reason that I have them is because I have the record We're driving from Austin, Texas to ask them Colorado now

People ask me how do you must be going so fast? I'm not I'm going 10 over this feedlement. I set the cruise control

I do NASCAR style fuel stops and I never stop to go to the bathroom

I just drive No, yeah Don't there no bathroom breaks. I have food packed. I have drinks packed I've got Get out and stretch let's go around not when you're trying to break a record

Why don't you fucking stretch another time? No when you're trying what don't you just do what you did in Oslo That would be something you know it could find a bag of hands like geez the car really What so listen if there is a day where maybe you just forget to go to the bathroom, but you you actually travel with that bag when you drive So on the drive and of course, I'm a super hydrant. I drove your car the other day had I know no, I wouldn't have been as comfortable. I'm a Is that one big few stories like he's staying so I'm a super hydrater now

I replaced alcohol like beverages with water right and I'm a super hydrater So I peel up and I like records. I like time. I like standards. I like speed. I like sort of let's him music or podcast All the above and at times I'll slide. This is my pedal set it up on the dash Super safe on peeing watching your iPad watching Netflix Listen to you guys. Well, do I show me wow you're why me not to go from Austin

Asked me that lands ever you're out in West Texas. You don't need to really look where you're going You could you could you could take a quick nap. You're not breaking up all these infractions I'm gonna have to tell this story from the other night. I'm we're at the nice dinner with Emily Steve beautiful evening

Anna brought me to the dinner and then lunch shows up late as always by himself

So I'll for to take his car back home and I'm like getting the car like I'll send someone to come back and a passenger side window I'm like what I mean, he's like and I couldn't put the seat belt on he's like don't mess with my seat belt And I'm like what he he's got like a 3D plug in the seat belt, but you don't have to hear the noise You don't have to put your seat belt on

Oh my gosh that how hard is the placebo that so several infractions that we talked about on this is a family friendly show

You shouldn't and that's that is that is that did you actually order this you...

That's also those are also on Amazon, but that's below the belt

That's not supposed to be discussed on a family friend the show, but

So I will say and I was just sort of flexing on how I don't speed I did get pulled over three times On my drive up whoa three times It's been to get each time three warnings three warnings wow three different states are one state two two in Texas one in Oklahoma Great excuses every time

First time not that long not that far outside of Austin and you you're only going 10 over 10 over but I didn't

You know what I'm not I don't anyways I don't have a front license plate so I got a little let me if you read the back no, but hold on So this couple's whoever he says you know my front license plate. I'm like, I don't know it's new car I don't what happened uh I'll check with my assistant that I don't have Anyways he gets done gizzling the morning and he's about to walk over you like you know what

Pretty cool start to a Sunday morning I said yeah, thank you That was a cool start to a Sunday morning for him Lance to get pulled over this is such a cool start to a Sunday morning

I mean the second line of instruction is children must use under adult supervision

That's risky That is how old you got to be Anyways, we we're going to pull up this this quote it's a image of quote that brimco Maniple had after yesterday's finish And I look at the second line that hits out at floor and look at what's I asked for a lead out and didn't get one

Yes, I was angry and rightfully so I Johan says this on the WhatsApp chat and I I just kind of couldn't know myself I can't figure out where I land on roomco, but I I replied us at whiner extraordinary you know and come back former soccer player

Which is true um, I don't you know there there's another what's going on?

I did yeah, I mean look we all have those grievances at the finish and things that should have happened One thing I'll say and Remco's defense is you know He has a microphone thrust under his face yeah within minutes of finishing second We're all gonna say that moment in time that you may regret 24 hours later So it's part and parcel of the sport unfortunately and unfortunately for Remco now the headlines the next day with a quote

Like that which you may regret in hindsight From page feeding in to the headlines that were out there before the race even started Yeah, you shouldn't say it like I don't you can be angry, but you definitely should not say that They also cut out part of the quote that said and the vault of Catalonia I led the way for him for 30 kilometers, which is true

Like he'd be pulled for lipowits the whole time at Catalonia and then And so I'm but what do we think about like with a lead out really have helped and this guy got no place the tour of France last

You should really be leading someone out. No. No. This is not why you should be fucked up

But I think he's also disappointed about track not really going all in on the chase Yeah, to me that would be the bigger group. Yeah, I agree with that and that one I think we'd probably go. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yellow Let's look at tomorrow's stage stage eight none of the one for the sprinters 180 this is this I mean just kind of longest days 180 kilometers going to be hot again to get a very four climbs

What George and I were looking at the finish the today was fairly straight running along the river tomorrow There is a very sharp right-hander at a kilometer to go and then another sharp right-hander with about 500 to go just keep that in mind Yeah, how to get 97 degrees is this a good day for the weekend. Why is this stage on the Saturday?

Well, if you you guys remember I mean Saturdays look the tour was always they they had an outline. Yeah, right and and

It started obviously there's wherever the prologue is the first stage was was with a big enough deal and then you'd kind of do these these Fillur stages and then you'd have Alps one weekend pair and he's another weekend but the big you know the weekends were Set aside for these iconic stages burger rack 180 kilometers Yeah 10 years ago 20 years ago was that a Saturday stage? No

But it's a it's a good point yeah, but it's still days approaching as well. Yeah, which is only the big one Tuesdays it So yeah, we don't even know what it is. Yeah, what it what is the date to the 10th so Coming up and then go Sunday. Let's just just not with not that we're doing a stage nine preview

You've got us okay first big weekend Saturday Sunday.

It's kind of it's like massive central breakaway day probably okay, and that's a different yeah You only get like it's a limited number of prime time windows because I think of Saturday Sunday TV And then on others if I don't feel like they haven't even taken into account when they do the route but maybe they don't care you know Like they have the data that they know what we're what what what what the viewership is doing the direction they're heading You know

Summer time or more people on vacation and maybe it doesn't matter if it's a Wednesday or Saturday. I don't know

I don't know and I guess it is you do have to get a to be so if you want to do a certain route

There's gonna be days where you're just not close them out. It takes a guy like a professor to tell you something You got to get kids But it's like jet GPT for this. You know just have to get from a to be new people for good So we take some callers. Yeah, so let's do it. Uh, Kotlin who we got A move crew Matt down in the Florida keys if he is such an issue why in the world are any of these teams having black on their jerseys

Keep up the good work good question take it Well, I mean, isn't there a lot more Science based technology in a matter of a period or even if they all black, yep, there is a cooling material and yeah It's not like just going out wearing a black T shirt now. That's definitely more you behind it

As opposed to a black helmet which is still quite bad, isn't it? Yeah, but slightly with the jerseys and materials now They were able to get around that. Yeah, and whatever they're doing with with with the jerseys We we were marked this a couple years ago and we've already seen it this year I mean if we would have ridden in these stages and in this heat we would have had the jerseys fully unzipped Flapping just you know is getting as much air and dryness on your chest as you could

They are fully zipped up all the time like tea bag jerseys remember the tea bag ones holes in

Used to wear yeah, I think they've studied that as well. That it's actually cooler. I fit to keep in the moist

Yeah, the moisture there. Yeah, so there's yeah, it's a good question but apparently And black is cool. Yeah, it just looks but it is good to match

Kind of the keys that come in from the keys. You're been to the keys. You're been a key west. No, I've never been

No, it tastes like that nice boy is nasty It is That table until you don't ask you to do it in this sort of front, so any other at the moment is black socks Like yeah, no more Oh, and I was well, I know you just don't get a black socks. Well, no black shoes everyone's got white shoes

Yeah, yeah, is that a heat thing? I don't know about that, but I think it's just not cool anymore to wear black socks, you know black shoes

So I believe that's what my son says. Yeah, all right next collar

Hi, guys, it's Matthew from the UK question is if you guys this is for all three of you as well If you could go back and relive one day in the saddle what would it be and why they can be Train day or race day, but just that one day you think I did what I've done it. I'd love to go back and do that again Be sure to know cheers, bye Yeah, that's a tough one

Who goes first on this? Well, I mean for me, I would say I'd love to go back and do La Shaatre

The last time dry one in the tour in 2012 That was uh, it was so layered with emotion and and I knew I'd won with 5k to go So it was the thoughts that were going through my head at that point Going back to my childhood watching my first tour of France and watching La Monde vignore in 1809 And thinking well, I'm about to do the same thing. It was incredible

Mom and I'd love to relive. Yeah, that's great. Now, I actually I'm gonna have to go with you on the same year 2012 when you Crisis little graciously let me off the front coming on to the Shaumsley Zay and it was just a big honor for me that People like yourself and wet at the time winning the sort of friends So it's so much respect to my career. Yeah, just really meant a lot to me. Well, and I would go back And actually, you know, I think maybe some of these I don't know about for you guys. Those might be definitive answers

But but maybe a toss up or maybe not mine is not a toss up. I don't even need to think about this

The answer is going to be the say it is going to be the answer today. It's going to be the same in 10 years can be the same in 30 years

I do anything to go back to that stage up on to with Marco Puntani And I clearly the best writers the best climbers in the race off the front I was in this position of having a comfortable lead not really stress hip-out the GC And also thinking about sort of the the tradition and cycling of sort of gifting stages And we we were trying to Marco and I were trying to have a conversation which clearly

Neither of us understood

He was offended.

Fast forward to the finish. I let him cross the finish line first. He was the winner of the stage up Montvante, which to me to me

I don't that is the stage to win in the tour France certainly the mountains. I mean, you could out it it's It's the giant a performance. It's the one you're supposed to win but the thing that stands out is is First of all, I did you know as is most of the time the case do you don't get any You don't get any points for that you don't get in any appreciation for that in fact you might be viewed as is a is a bit of a dick

Which I think I was always viewed as a dick

So that just sort of reinforced it but the thing that stands out the most across the finish line Not knowing what I had done I get in the car and I'm before I start to drive down 80 marks calls me And he says he's straight in not hey how wasn't it he says huge mistake

And I said what do you mean and he said you never give away

want to And I'll leave it at that interesting Bradley did you have like an amazingly doubt on state in 2012 that final stage we let it have the win that was Have you ever seen the images? I just wasn't I was making job was yeah We were confused you might be confused you might have thought it was the motorcycle yeah

It was the yellow jersey you take into that five hundred meters to go. Yeah, yeah, yeah, just across the plastic You were like you had dead. It was insanity. I could barely see you How is that the only time the other jerseys let out a sprint maybe stage? Yeah, it's an awesome image Are we gonna do one more are we done? This is Dan from Sam Marcus Texas. I'm curious if you all think that UAE will maybe try to adjust their tactics to help

I think that Toro get on to the podium or is it too risky to have any other focus beyond just had it winning?

Very curious your thoughts. Great question. Good question George. Yeah, I think I think the Totties performance yesterday was so dominant that they have that card to play now and I could see them Trying to you know give the Toro that experience of fighting for the podium The team is so strong behind the Toro that it's not like they're gonna lose in many options anyway Of course, it's gonna be day to day, but I think in their plan

There's starting to view potentially two guys on the podium. Yeah, I agree. You know, I think that's right And I think you set it towards the team look everybody knows how great poker charis but that team is what they did yesterday was exceptional And so that all means that they can really do whatever they want if that's what they want to do Then I would think that would happen right and in Dol Toro as Tremendous talent and by the way, I kept it to Anna because I was thinking about this conversation

We had about poker char yesterday and and what I said and I said I think the only thing that can beat him is boredom

I thought a lot about that last night. I still think that's the case, but I reflected I saw his face after the finish yesterday And think back to four days ago when Del Toro won that That he liked yeah, I mean it was probably like desert, but that was exciting to him Remember we'll pleasure out that yeah, he picked him up off the ground. I mean that Was a guy who was sight. Yeah, yeah, I thought a lot about that last night into new story too

You know, it's not I also talked to some I don't want to be a name drop or someone's of the name

Talk to somebody that would know something about this and they said not going to be a boring third week because Ted is going to be working for

He's up to get him in second place. No Daddy, okay, well then stand from San Marcos by the way our home boy Yeah San Marcos to access just south of Austin that you nailed it. There you go, stand good job. Let's do some trivia our Venctum trivia of the day Inter to win The winner gets we'll read it here on the air gets $5,000 credit towards a new Venctum bike

Yesterday's question cold normally is the most climb pass into her history win was this historic climbs debut in the tour the answer survey says 19 10 Do you ever watch that show? Which one family? There's family for you, right? Sir. Oh, yeah, we have done you, okay? Anyways, we had like an iconic guy today, so survey says In the butt

Inside you would have had to have lots of a lot of family if you didn't know that one. All right here's today's question Bordeaux is the second most visited city in the tour to France history behind only Paris How many times has the tour finished in Bordeaux
