I'm Clayton Eckard, in 2022,
I was the lead of ABC's The Bachelor.
“But here's the thing, Bachelor fans hated him.”
If I could press a button and rewind it all I would, that's when his life took a disturbing turn. A one-night stand would end in a courtroom. The media is here, this case has gone viral. The dating contract.
Agreed to date me, but I'm also suing you. This is unlike anything I've ever seen before. I'm Stephanie Young. Listen to the love trapped on the eye-heart radio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Next Monday, our 2026 eye-heart podcast awards are happening live in South by Southwest. This is the biggest night in podcast thick. We'll honor the very best in podcasting from the past year and celebrate the most innovative talent

And the winner is... Creativity, knowledge, and passion will all be on full display. Thank you so much. I heart rate you all. Thank you to all the other nominees.
You guys are awesome. Watch live next Monday at 8 p.m. Eastern 5 p.m. Pacific Free. Itfeeps.com or The Weeps app. Hey, I'm Jay Shetty, host of The On Purpose podcast. My latest episode is with Hillary Duff.
Singer, actress, and multi-plottener artists. You desire in family like this picture. And that's not reality. My sister and I don't speak. It's definitely a very painful part of my life.
And I hope it's not forever, but it's for right now. Listen to On Purpose with Jay Shetty on the eye-heart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm Amanda Knox, and in the new podcast doubt, the case of Lucy Leppby, we unpack the story
of an unimaginable tragedy that gripped the UK in 2023. But what if we didn't get the whole story? It had just been made to fit. The moment you look at the whole picture, the case collapsed.
“What if the truth was disguised by a story we chose to believe?”
Oh my god, I think she might be innocent. Listen to doubt, the case of Lucy Leppby, on the eye-heart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Two teas in a pod.
With Teddy Mellon-Kath and Tamara Judge. Hi guys, welcome to another episode of Two teas in a pod with myself Teddy Mellon-Kath and Dolores Catania. And now we are going to be talking all things southern charm. Wait, Teddy, can you tell everybody why I look like this?
'Cause I'm embarrassed. All right, Dolores had food poisoning from eating a Pistromy sandwich, only half. And even the thought of it. Dolores has food poisoning poisoning.
And so occasionally I'll see her lean into her hand, which I can't tell if she's earping or what's actually happening. It's almost there, it's not through, let's see. The fact that I have to get my makeup done in a half. That is brutal, but speaking of licks,
can we talk about these looks from southern charms reunion?
“Oh, listen, they're good looking people.”
I mean, they all look fine. These women are beautiful. Sally's a nod. - But could you imagine sitting at a reunion with nothing covering your stomach and having to sit there that whole time?
You couldn't play me enough money. - No, I wanna see her sit there. - Yeah, like no roles. - No, of course there's no, look at her. But I have like five roles, I need to get like piercings.
(laughing) I'd have to airbrushed abs and Sally's confidence needs. (laughing) - Sally, she don't give up. - Yeah.
- Well, I guess you know, good for her. - Good for Madison. - Madison looks great, Craig, stop at Madison. I cannot, how is your stomach flat? What is going on?
You just had a baby teddy? - Little teddy? - I know. Every time they say that, I'm like, oh my gosh.
'Cause I never really met a girl teddy.
They're always guys. No, we're always guys. She named after her father. - Sorry, Madison. - Chef Molly, Vanita looks stunning, gorgeous, Charlie.
- No, who got a good turnaround this season? - Vanita. 'Cause at first, I kind of thought she had lost it. And then now, watching Craig, I'm like, well, she got her revenge now.
- Oh, she got it all the way around. - She didn't get it just with Craig. She got it with Sally. Her body. - She got it with Sally because of Charlie.
- And Sally got it from Charlie. Vanita just had a sit back. And one of my favorite scenes this whole season was when she sat with her mom, her beautiful mom, Vanita.
Her mom said, I didn't kind of like,
I didn't teach you to be a friend,
not be there for your friends. - Yes. - Like, when it's hard to be a friend, you stop to be there. And I just love her for that
'cause I know where she comes from and I want to be a friend. - And, you know, she's gonna tell you to like it is,
“but I think she realized when her mom said that”
that she should still be there for her friends, even if she disagrees with it. - And she could still get excited that they got dumped. But I think now all of her concerns are validated. - Oh, my God, talk about vindication.
She needs a shirt that's been decaying on it. So I was her, I'd get a hat and a shirt, and I'd have it on both sides. - I was right, and then a picture of Craig (laughing)
vindicated and stamp vindicated over it. Like, when Lisa Barlow writes dismissed, vindicated. - Well, they're at their final dinner in Mexico and Sally hopes that the healing ceremony
unlocks some positivity and Craig. Chef gets Craig and Austin to talk in front of the chair. I thought this was gonna go really bad immediately. - Why? - Because I don't know. I get an imagine why.
It always goes bad, that's why.
- Craig and Austin having this talk when they've already had a full day of drink. Or maybe they've had a full day of healing and they haven't had that much to drink at this point. - So maybe they healed and then they drank.
If you drink on a bad note, it's a different kind of drunk. So maybe drinking after the healing, like their soul is clean. - So it's a good thing.
“- Maybe that's why it backfired in a couple of scenes”
from now on, Austin's wearing velvet in this middle summer. - Yeah, that's supposed to, yeah, yeah. (laughing) But Craig feels that Austin assumes that everyone knows what he's thinking and then Craig and Austin agree,
they have a lot of work to do. - I love that they both agree on it. - But I don't think they actually agree on it. I think they just don't want to fight at this current moment.
- I think this was a really good finale. I gave me everything I wanted to. - It gave me everything I wanted to. But I think at this point, Austin just doesn't want to fight with drunk Craig.
And I think Craig's too hungover to have to deal with it. - Yeah, no, Craig has bigger fish to fry. He's got to make a men's with Sally. He's got to make a men's with Sally. Well, he's not gonna make a men's with Sally.
I mean, he's gonna make a men's with Sally 'cause Sally's gonna say okay. 'Cause he immediately, even when they get in the car, they ride in the same car together. This is their words, not mine.
But Craig turns on the charm and apologizes to Sally for calling her loser. - He is a charming mother. - He is, I know, but I'm gonna do it for me. - Why did he tell Sally all this stuff he did
about his relationship with Charlie?
“- I know why did he, I think he did that to stir.”
- That was not nice. - Because he knew how Charlie felt about it. He knew how Charlie didn't get that. That was like thrown it in her face to save himself to say, well, this is why I felt that felt this way
about her because she would call me when she couldn't sleep. She would do this, she would do this. - Oh, you said making it a lot more serious than if she had let on to Sally. - But the most, I think, the most pivotal statement
he made is she called me when she was bored. - Every time she called you was 'cause she was bored, right? - Okay, let me let you in on something. - Well, she was lonely, she was bored, you were like, you were into her.
- You were everything on the shelf. - Yeah, I don't think she'd necessarily, I mean, I read something that Craig said on a podcast, he said, I didn't realize until watching the show back that Sally was in to me as she was.
And I'm like, I'm like Craig, do you have a charisma of a serial killer and have me believing you again? Or are like, what's happening? - Are you, is he telling himself that? Because when you're in the hot tub to four o'clock in the morning,
don't tell me that nothing happened in the hot tub. Don't even tell me. She told him she liked him when they went chicken. - And he told her I didn't like him.
- But he never said I like you back.
And we had to remember Charlie was there the whole time. When you know someone likes you guy or girl, you kind of act out in it my whole life. Like if I thought somebody was in to me and I didn't like them, I would not plan to do that.
- I wouldn't invite them to the hot tub. I wouldn't help them get chicken. - No, stop. He did to Sally, everybody does to each other what they do to each other.
He did to Sally, which Charlie did to him. - Yeah, they all got it. And then Austin's now gonna, this, the last scene of this, it made me cringe. We'll get to it, but like between Austin and the Sally.
Can we please talk about the faces that Charlie makes?
- Every time when he's talking to her.
- Don't make me laugh, help you.
- But it's, she makes the same face every time. And then now like drunken dron or whatever is like, my name's about it like, but now I can't and see that face. - No, no matter what face she's making.
She's making that face to me. - But I wonder how into Craig she actually was. Like, and was, 'cause then she's like, how about this? What about when Craig's like, yeah, I don't wanna hurt her.
- Oh, I don't want her to be so into me that I'm gonna hurt her in the end. - He's the one that got hurt. - Shit. What about when she's avoiding the whole night at the party?
Like, can't get even near him. She's do anything, like she's even hanging like with the mom. And they, she doesn't have to talk to him, but then she's like, - And then like he's feeling it.
“I think that's why he spelled his guts to Sally,”
'cause he like inadvertently wanted Sally to go for Charlie, which it worked. - It worked. (upbeat music) - I'm Clayton Nackard, and in 2022,
I was the lead of ABC's The Bachelor. - Unfortunately, it didn't go according to plan.
He became the first bachelor to ever have his final
rose rejected. The internet turned on him. - If I could press a button and rewind it all I would. - But what happened to Clayton after the show made even bigger headlines?
It began as a one night stand, and ended in a courtroom, with Clayton at the center of a very strange paternity scandal. - The media's here, this case has gone viral. - The dating contract.
- Agreed to date me, but I'm also suing you. - We're such smart. This is unlike anything I've ever seen before. - I'm Stephanie Young. This is Love Trapped.
“This season, an epic battle of he said she said,”
and the search for accountability in a sea of lies. - I don't know the ink to get broken by the (beep) Brassler. - Listen to Love Trapped on the I-Hart Radio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
- Hi, this is Joe Winterstein, host of the Spirit.org podcast, where we talk about astrology, natal charts, and how to step into your most vibrant life. - And I just sat down with a mini driver.
- The Irish travel is said when I was 16, you're gonna have a terrible time with men. (laughing) - After storyteller and unapologetic aquarium visionary. Aquarius is all about freedom loving
and different perspectives. And I find a lot of people with strong placements on Aquarius, like our misunderstood. A son and Venus in Aquarius, in her seventh house. Spark, her unconventional approach to partnership.
He really has taught me to embrace people sleeping in different rooms on different houses
“in different places, but just an embracing”
of the isness of its own. - If you're navigating your own transformation or just wanna chart side view into how a leading artist integrates astrology, creativity, and real life, this episode is a must listen.

Hillary opens up about complicated family dynamics,
motherhood, and releasing our first record in over 10 years.
We talk about what it's taken to grow up in the entertainment industry, and stay grounded through every chapter. It's a raw and honest conversation about identity, evolution, and building a life
that truly matters. - You desire in family like this picture, and that's not reality, a lot of the time it's for people. My sister and I don't speak, it's definitely a very painful part of my life.
And I hope it's not forever, but it's for right now. Listen to on purpose, with Jay Shetty, on the iHart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. (upbeat music)
- Madison takes baby Teddy home from the hospital after two weeks, she was born six weeks earlier so she was in the Nicchio. I got emotional watching Hudson hold Teddy. - Yeah, like I was like, oh my gosh, this is so.
- Yes, everything.
- And then the husband, the husband, she's so into him. - And what about when she said,
“I mean, I don't know that I could have picked,”
I have a couple ex-husbands and husbands, but I don't know that any of them would have said, like could you imagine loving something this much and then then responding? - Yeah, until I met you.
- So then I threw up again, and I didn't have food poisoning that time. So I'm so happy for her. But and their her house is being... - And she's doing it right.
She has the money to give 15,000 to lover boy. - Yeah, she sure is the soft bar. She should, yeah, the send it over. She just bought it like a $2 million house, and the first of all, wait, can we?
Can we just talk about the difference between summer house and the way everybody keeps their things and then Southern charm? You can eat off their floor. - Except for Molly.
Molly's house, well, that Molly's not only wanted,
she always has to say like that.
- The cat pissed in my luggage. - Yeah. - It's not me that smells, I know. - Yeah. - But she's funny.
- But I love her. I love her, but she, okay, with the exception of Molly,
“do you see how, why is everything so beautiful there?”
Why are their houses so nice? There's, because you are looking at them thinking they're 20 years old. They are 40 years old. - Yeah, like, these are not 20 year old people.
These are people that have already had careers. Like some of them have even lied about going to law school. I mean, it's, there's been a lot. But then Charlie fills her mom in on the big Sally Craig Fiasco and Craig's behavior was a big turn off for her.
Charlie spills that no one in the front group. I bet her mom wishes she didn't tell her to go for her. - No. - After watching it back. - Do you got, like, did you gossip with your mom
about your friends and guys who were dating? You did, yeah. I go to my mother for advice. I didn't, it's because she's like psychic. My mother's not psychic.
But she's so smart when I talk to her. She'll tell me how the play is gonna end. She's never wrong. But Charlie says no one in the group holds a accountable and he's not receptive to criticism.
I fully agree with what she's saying here. If I were Charlie, I would get in the egg as well. - Listen, Charlie got the egg and he just, when they have that talk, they have to have this talk. I mean, like, she's avoiding him since Mexico.
- No. - And they still haven't spoken. - Well, Charlie talks to her mom more than she talks to anyone else on this entire cast. - It's like Lexi from another house, Lexi.
The mother in the sister. - I see the mother premiere one time together, after they're autographed. - No, she should've come saying hello to me. I was around first and I'm older.
But yeah, I mean, there's, it just really hits you when you're hearing her talk to her mom and you're like, I didn't know any of this. And then when Patricia hosts the black tagala for Caroline,
Patricia's always having some type of parties.
- How come she's so rich? - I don't know. - She got a big fish. - Yeah, she was married to a partner of Goldman Sachs.
“- That's what I'm talking about, see her.”
(laughing) But you can tell the party's gonna go south 'cause I mean, they're all pounding core's lights. I mean, I haven't drank a core's lights since I was 17. - I'll tell you though, Patricia throws a nice party.
She has the party planner there. I have shout out to my party planner, Joanne Grigoli. She's getting me through planning little Frankie's wedding here. She's amazing. She's such a good person.
I'm so lucky to have found herself, anyone needs one. But, you know, here Patricia's like, old southern money
and it's just, and she always calm that she's good.
She's, I enjoy watching her. - I would hang around with Patricia the most. (upbeat music) - I'm Clayton Neckard, and in 2022, I was the lead of ABC's The Bachelor.

- Listen to on purpose, with Jay Shetty, on the I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. (upbeat music) - Craig and Austin end up having a combo.
Craig tells Austin that he hates when people get involved in his business and then Austin gets angry because Craig isn't taking accountability. Austin is done. He says that Craig has no business being in his life.
- Well, Craig, if you don't want people in your business, you don't take the person in the room that you can't stand the most hashtag Sally and tell her your business what's going on with Charlie. Like, what did you do that?
So you're like culpable on that one because now Sally's gonna go fight with Charlie and it's all gonna fall back on you anyway. So you asked for this one. I mean, Charlie may have duped us a bit.
Do you think she owes any kind of apology to Sally or do you think Sally couldn't claim somebody she? - No, she got her, she got, you know,
“I think that Charlie already kind of like paid for”
by dating him. Number one, it didn't work out. She made herself kind of look not great in front of her and in front of other girl like her friend. And like, you know, and not that Sally wouldn't have done it to her,
I think she would have, but doesn't matter, doesn't make it okay for you, Charlie, right? So, so I think Charlie already got hers because she did something for nothing. - She did something for nothing.
- Don't worry, Sally was quick to pull her phone out and show the receipts before the oyster date. I feel sad, ugh, I don't wanna have feelings for Craig. Okay, so I think Sally has like immature feelings for guys but still, it's, watch what you wish for, Charlie,
that's all, like you went for the guy that everybody was warning Sally about, and that's fine, but I think it would have end, and she wasn't honest, kind of she wasn't honest with her relationship with him, Charlie,
We didn't even know the extent of it until Craig told Sally,
which, so, why would you tell Sally unless you wanted
to hurt her feelings? - I think he was being selfish, I think sometimes he has a self-it, when you're wounded, birds, like himself,
“I think you have a selfish component to you.”
Like, he was telling Sally because he didn't wanna feel dumb about like thinking they had really more than they had. So he was more worried about what he looked like than talking about it. - What about this line?
I was more into you than I was my past relationship of three years, something along, I thought she was gonna fall down that one, I thought she was gonna fall down. Listen, Charlie, I have a new respect for Charlie,
she held her ground, she did the right thing in the end, she got rid of him because he spoke poorly to her friend and to the way he spoke to a woman, right? It wasn't, it was, that was, - That was yelling, that was like Ben.
- Okay, Bailey, that was yelling. Let me show you, that's not asked Craig what it's like to yell, not Ben, Ben wasn't yelling at you there. So that's yelling to me, unless it's all relative, whatever. But that turned her off and I give her a lot of credit
because again, there's a lot of girls that wouldn't have taken that warning and she did.
“And I'll tell you this, I think he's not an abusive guy,”
I like Craig, he was very happy at Bravo-Con, he's kind of to himself, I felt like he looks great,
tears long, he's always nice to me and Paul, when we see him.
So I don't like he didn't want to talk about him. I'm only talking about what happened. - I know it's hard because he is the term we're in person. He's lovely, but I want to date him, I don't want to date him. - No, well, especially after this season,
I don't want to date him. - Yeah, this season, but this is on the heels of a breakup, and now we know why Paige didn't want him drinking. - Right, so he's got to stop drinking. That's it, he's got to go back to the sweat lodge
and stay in the whole time this time. So that when he drinks, the evil spirits don't come out, but the good spirits come out. - Yeah, then the party's kind of over everybody's leaving. Charlie's done her avoiding, she's done her talking,
we've gotten all we're gonna get from this party, but now then Sally strikes again and has to give us one more time to crunch. - She's like, where do you go? - Where do you go?
- No, wait, I'll come and like this guy does it, and she's standing there looking so beautiful. - I'm excited, I'm excited. - Like they brought out a special light.
Like she's like basically throwing it in his face.
And he's like trying to get away, he's trying. The guy's trying, he's like I'm out of here, I'm done. And she's like, but wait for me and I'll cut, and then by, and then she's like, "But I'll follow you anywhere."
It felt like when Ariana was breaking up and Tom were breaking up and she's like, "But I would have followed you anywhere." That ripped my heart up, but then when Sally, I was like, Sally, Sally girl, stop it.
And he finally gave it. - I know he finally, he did give it, I thought it was done. Like I thought when he was gonna get in the car, 'cause he had already said I would do anything for you, or she wouldn't let out of me.
- But there's her. - And she kept saying, "Come here, come closer, come closer." And she looked like her hair was blowing in the warm wind and her dress was sparkling and her face is beautiful and her body's beautiful.
And then he's just like, before that he said, "I can't do this." - Yeah, but she's telling her, she's gonna get hurt. Like, I feel like the need to hear. I need to tell her she's gonna get her heart broken again.
- She gets her heart broke for three seconds until she likes somebody else.
“- But I think she always kind of liked Austin more than Craig.”
- Well, they did, they had history. Listen, she was in a marriage. He cheated on her. You know, it wasn't, it was just not a good relationship. She came out eventually. - Then she went on the bachelor.
Then she went on the bachelor, you know, I think that, like, I wanna take Sally under my ring wing. I'm just glad she gave up the chickens. I wanna take Sally under my wing and just be like, "What do you see when you look in the mirror
"because you don't have to beg a guy to stand there?" - Yeah, I thought of like a young me. And like, when I used to, like, in high school, I had, you know, like your serious high school boyfriend, you know, like I had my serious high school boyfriend.
- So I wasn't able to see, mine was Bobby Hopper. - And, um, on my friends and I, like, if they, we wouldn't get, like, we only had home phones and pages,
Then, like, there wasn't, like, a cell phone, right?
- So people would call him and say, they couldn't find me
so that then he would start looking for me and call me. - No, but that is, like, the kind of crazy. - Bobby Hopper, and Tony Blissucci, we couldn't be more. - Oh, my gosh.
“But I think Sally needs to take multiple cold showers”
before next season. - I want Sally to find herself, and I mean, you say she's confident for me. I mean, I, I'm not that confident in the way I look, but I think that I'm kind of strong-minded
and I'll be damned if I tell a guy not to leave. - Yeah. - Not happening. - No, come here, and if I look like her, I tell him to go, 'cause I'll be next.
- Yeah, I mean, clearly, and she's still standing, like, it's not like she was, like, walking out at the same time.
She was still standing there with her glass of wine,
clearly still at the party. And she, I don't know why she could, was she gonna do Hopper with that gate? How's the tall gate? - She went up, I don't know, listen.
- She would have, she definitely would have, but yeah, I mean, it gave me, it gave me what I needed. - I'm happy with it, it gave me what I needed.
“- But I think they're gonna have to add some more people,”
I think we need to see more of, I wanna see more of Molly. I feel like Molly is pretty, you know, like, outspoken when she's given the chance. I feel like she has more in her. - She's, yeah,
but we don't have to see her now. - Well, we'll see her next season, like, you know? - Yeah. - I don't mind getting to know someone slowly, but like we had enough this season from them,
but her and Rodrigo are like barely in it. - I know, well, I miss Rodrigo, he's my guy. - Yeah, I think he's hilarious. - Historical and very smart, super talented, super smart. - What's your, so what is your thorn of the season
and what's your pearl? - Okay, my thorn of the season, I mean, it's gotta be Craig. It's just a Craig letting me down. Like, I really hoped he would come back
from the page breakup. And you know, like, page is publicly talking about her new relationship now. And I took a while, why did it take so long? - Well, I think she didn't wanna rub it
and crazy Craig's face. - Yeah, I think she still had empathy towards him. - I think that pages new boyfriend would definitely not have sat at that table and allowed somebody to say somebody wants a bang
or what? - No, I he wouldn't have sat at that table. - Joey Demelia or whatever his name is, open air. - It's not sitting around for that one. - No, not happening.
- He's not fitting in the summer house crowd. - I think the part that I love is that the guys rule the show, like it's fun to me that like they're a big more drama than the girls. Like, they are.
And so it's fun, it's a good change because every other show, it's the girls causing the drama and you don't wanna see the guys. Except for our engineers, these sometimes you wanna see them have drama.
